Courtney attends and all-girls university, but her parents have become concerned that she spends too much time "thinking about boys". So, they sent her to see Dr. Thickmember for focus assistance. Well, you could say he helped her focus, just not really in the way her parents wanted.

During their session, he implanted a trigger that makes Courtney go blank like a doll. Now, it wouldn't have been much of a problem if it was a secret. However, he also gave her a compulsion that randomly makes her speak the trigger phrase out loud in public. This leads to... situations.
