Sanctuary to Submission
Reverend Cordelia Finch, a progressive interfaith minister, encounters energy executive Gus Sudaz when he offers a substantial community grant tied to private counseling sessions. Those sessions introduce sophisticated hypnosis that gradually rewrites her liberation theology, sexual independence, and political convictions. Over successive meetings Cordelia’s public sermons shift, her resistance erodes, and she resigns her pulpit to marry Gus and live as his submissive, pro-America trad-wife. The narrative follows the methodical progression of hypnotic suggestions, public behavioral changes, and private sexual encounters that reinforce her surrender. Explicit scenes emphasize power exchange, sensory detail, and the protagonist’s internal conflict between former ideals and emerging compulsion. The story centers on ideological reprogramming and erotic domination rather than mutual romance or consensual courtship.
