Test Shots
Audrey Kessler is a commercial photographer whose eye for intimate detail has built her career. When a menswear campaign requires real chemistry between her husband Wesley and a model, Audrey selects Keira Dunn from hundreds of portfolios. On set she directs Wesley’s hands onto Keira’s skin and calls it lighting. After the job ends, she proposes private test sessions in the studio. The rules are explicit: everything is consensual, the files belong to all three, and Audrey only holds the camera. Session by session the lens moves closer, clothes come off, and the distance between Audrey’s shutter and her own desire shrinks. She must finally admit that the camera is how she touches what she cannot have. When the battery dies and she lowers the lens, the three of them discover a new arrangement—one in which Audrey remains the steady witness behind the light. A slow-burn psychological exploration of negotiated cuckquean desire, power exchange, and the compulsion to watch.
