The Podcast Guest

In the intimate setting of their home studio, Brian and Sissena Coldway produce a true-crime podcast built on careful preparation and shared routines. When they invite private investigator Jeremy Lasseter for a multi-episode series, the conversations extend beyond the planned topics. Brian, responsible for managing the recordings, begins to notice subtle changes in tone and interaction that alter the balance within their marriage. As sessions continue, he finds himself curating an archive of moments that document shifting dynamics and personal revelations. The studio becomes a space where professional boundaries blur into private discoveries, and Brian must confront how far he will go to preserve every captured detail. The story explores themes of observation, consent, and the emotional weight of what remains unspoken between the three participants.
