Evidence and Ultimatum

Gary Walden stretched his arms over his head, the muscles in his shoulders pulling pleasantly as he stepped out of the shower. He caught his reflection in the fogged mirror and smirked. Broad shoulders, defined chest, the kind of build that made women look twice and men step aside. He ran a hand through his wet dark hair and nodded at himself.

That was the image. That was the man everyone knew.

He pulled on boxer briefs and cargo shorts, grabbed his phone from the nightstand, and padded barefoot into his living room. The late afternoon sun slanted through the windows of his third-floor apartment, casting long shadows across the leather couch and the expensive sound system he'd bragged about for weeks after buying it.

Olivia Tiebeck sat on that couch now, her legs crossed, her phone in her hand. She looked up when he entered, and something in her dark eyes made him pause.

"You're still here," he said, grabbing a towel and scrubbing at his hair. "I thought you had that thing with your sister."

"I moved it." Her voice was flat. Unreadable.

He tossed the towel toward the laundry basket and missed. "Cool. Want to grab dinner? I'm starving."

"Come sit down, Gary."

The way she said his name. Not G. Not the casual shortening everyone used. His full name, like a teacher calling him out in class. He felt a flicker of something cold in his gut but pushed it down. This was Olivia. His best friend since college. She'd seen him hungover and broke, seen him crying over a girl who cheated on him sophomore year. There was nothing she could spring on him that would matter.

He dropped onto the couch beside her. "What's up?"

She turned her phone toward him.

The screen showed a browser history. His browser history. Dozens of sites, all with names that made his stomach drop. Chastity cages. Sissy training. Feminization captions. He stared at the list, his brain refusing to process what he was seeing.

"I was looking for your external hard drive," Olivia said, her tone conversational. "Mine crapped out and I need to back up some files before a deadline. You left your laptop open."

His mouth opened. Closed. "That's not what it looks like."

"Really?" She swiped. A new image appeared. A photo of a small metal cage, sitting in his nightstand drawer, the drawer pulled open and clearly visible. "So this isn't in your bedroom right now?"

The cold in his gut turned to ice. He knew exactly what was in that drawer. He'd put it there three days ago, told himself he'd throw it away, that he was done with this. But he hadn't. He never did.

"That's private," he managed. His voice came out rough.

"You keep a cock cage in your nightstand, Gary." She said it slowly, tasting each word. "You watch videos about being locked up and turned into a sissy. And you walk around our friend group acting like you're some kind of alpha."

The word hit like a slap. Alpha. He used that word. He'd used it a hundred times, joking about being the alpha of their group, the one who led, who decided, who got what he wanted.

"That's not fair," he said. "Everyone has private stuff. You don't get to just dig through my things and judge me."

"I'm not judging." Olivia set her phone on the coffee table and leaned forward, her elbows on her knees. "I'm observing. There's a difference."

"What do you want?" The words came out before he could stop them, and he heard the desperation in his own voice. "Are you going to tell everyone?"

"That depends."

"On what?"

She stood up. Walked to his bedroom doorway. Turned back to look at him with those sharp, patient eyes. "On whether you're going to keep pretending, or if you're going to show me what you really are."

His heart hammered against his ribs. "I don't know what you're talking about."

"Get the cage." Her voice was quiet. Firm. "Bring it here."

"No."

"Gary." She said his name again, and this time it sounded different. Like she was testing how it felt in her mouth. "I have screenshots of everything. I have that photo. One group chat message and everyone knows. Craig. Sally. Your boss, who I also have on Facebook, by the way. Think about how that conversation would go."

He thought about it. Saw Craig's smirk, Sally's pity, the way his boss would look at him differently. Saw his carefully built reputation crumbling into dust.

"You wouldn't do that," he said. "We're friends."

"Friends don't pretend to be something they're not for seven years." She crossed her arms. "You've been lying to me. To everyone. I'm giving you a chance to stop lying."

His hands were shaking. He pressed them flat against his thighs to steady them. "This is insane. You can't just walk into someone's house and take over their life."

"I'm not taking over your life." She smiled, and there was nothing warm about it. "I'm just asking you to be honest. If you're not interested in what I'm offering, you can walk away right now. I'll delete the screenshots. We'll never speak of it again."

He didn't move.

"But you should know," she continued, "that if you walk away, I'll always wonder. And I think you'll wonder too. About what it would have felt like to finally stop pretending."

The silence stretched. He could hear his own breathing, shallow and uneven. Could feel his pulse throbbing in his throat, his wrists, everywhere at once.

"What are you offering?" he heard himself ask.

Olivia's smile widened. "Come here. Bring the cage."

He stood on legs that didn't feel like his own. Walked past her into his bedroom. Opened the nightstand drawer and stared down at the small metal device sitting there. He'd bought it six months ago, used it maybe three times, always taking it off within an hour because the shame was too much. Because it made him feel things he didn't want to feel.

He picked it up. The metal was cool against his palm.

When he turned back, Olivia was leaning against his bedroom doorframe, watching him with an expression he couldn't read. "Good boy," she said.

The words sent a jolt through him. He told himself it was anger.

"Take off your shorts."

"What?"

"You heard me." She stepped into the room, closer to him. "Take off your shorts. Let's see what we're working with."

"Olivia, this is ridiculous. I'm not going to just let you do this to me."

"Gary." She stopped inches from him. Reached out and took the cage from his hand. Her fingers brushed his and he flinched. "You have two choices. You can let me lock this on you, right now, and we can talk about what happens next. Or I can send those screenshots to everyone you know and walk out that door. Your call."

He looked at her. At the cage in her hand. At the hard line of her jaw and the amusement flickering behind her eyes.

"You're enjoying this," he said.

"Very much." She didn't bother denying it. "Now stop stalling."

His hands moved before his brain caught up. He unfastened his shorts and let them drop to the floor. Stood there in his boxer briefs, exposed, vulnerable, while she looked him over like he was a piece of meat.

"Those too."

He hooked his thumbs into the waistband. Pulled them down. His cock sprang free, half-hard from the adrenaline and the shame and the terrible, secret excitement he couldn't quite suppress.

Olivia made a sound. Not quite a laugh. "Look at that. All that alpha posturing and you're already half-hard from a woman telling you what to do."

"I'm not..."

"Shut up." She said it casually, like she'd been saying it for years. "Hold still."

She knelt. The sight of her on her knees in front of him made his breath catch. But she wasn't looking at him the way he'd imagined a hundred times. She was examining the cage, turning it over in her hands, finding the locking mechanism. Her fingers moved with careful precision, and he realized with a jolt of horror that she'd done this before. She knew exactly what she was doing.

"This goes on pretty easily," she said. "You've worn it before."

It wasn't a question.

"Yes."

"How many times?"

"Three. Four." His voice was barely a whisper. "I always took it off."

"Not this time." She looked up at him. "This time, I have the key. And I'm not giving it back until I decide you've earned it."

She wrapped her fingers around his cock. His hips jerked forward involuntarily. She squeezed, just slightly, and he froze. Her grip was warm and firm, her thumb resting against the underside of his shaft where the veins pul visibly. She held him like that for a long moment, watching his face, watching the conflict play across his features.

"Patience," she said. "I'm in charge now."

She stroked him once, slowly, from base to tip. His breath hissed through his teeth. She watched a bead of precum form at the head and smiled.

"See? Your body knows what it wants even if your brain won't admit it." She swiped her thumb across the tip, spreading the moisture. He shuddered. "You've been thinking about this for months. Buying that cage. Watching those videos. Imagining what it would feel like to have someone else take control."

"I didn't..."

"You did." She released him and he almost groaned at the loss of contact. "You just never had the courage to ask for it."

She positioned the ring of the cage at the base of his cock, behind his balls. The metal was cold against his skin, and he had to force himself not to pull away. She worked it carefully, tugging his sac through the ring, adjusting the fit. Her fingers were clinical, efficient, but every accidental brush against his shaft sent sparks up his spine.

"Lift."

He raised his cock with trembling fingers. She guided the tube over the head, sliding it down his length. The confinement was immediate and strange. The cage pressed against him from all sides, snug but not painful. Not yet. She adjusted the angle, made sure everything sat right, then threaded the lock through the mechanism.

"Deep breath," she said.

He inhaled. She clicked the lock shut.

The sound was small and final. He looked down and saw himself imprisoned in metal, his cock straining slightly against the bars, already trying to get hard. The cage prevented it. Every twitch of arousal met unyielding steel.

She stood up. Held the key up between her fingers. "Say thank you."

"What?"

"Say thank you, Olivia. For helping you stop lying."

The words stuck in his throat. He couldn't say them. Couldn't give her that.

She shrugged. Pulled out her phone. "I guess I'll just send those screenshots now."

"No. Wait." He swallowed. "Thank you, Olivia."

"For what?"

"For... helping me stop lying."

She pocketed the key. Smiled. "See? That wasn't so hard, was it?"

He looked down at himself. At the cage locked around his cock, the metal pressing against his skin, the weight of it unfamiliar and terrifying and somehow, shamefully, right.

"What happens now?" he asked.

"Now?" She walked back to the living room and dropped onto the couch, pulling her legs up under her like she was settling in for a movie. "Now we talk about rules. About what's going to change. About how you're going to stop being Gary Walden and start being Gary Walden."

The word hit him like a physical blow. "Don't call me that."

"Why not? It's what you are. It's what you've always wanted to be." She patted the cushion beside her. "Come sit. We have a lot to discuss."

He didn't move. Couldn't move. The cage pressed against him with every heartbeat, a constant reminder of what had just happened.

"Gary." Her voice sharpened. "Sit."

His legs carried him to the couch. He sat beside her, close but not touching, his hands clasped in his lap over the metal device that now owned him.

"Better." She reached out and ran her fingers through his damp hair. The gesture was almost tender. "You're going to learn to listen. You're going to learn to obey. And by the time I'm done with you, you're going to thank me for every second of it."

He wanted to argue. Wanted to stand up and grab her phone and delete the evidence and go back to being the man everyone thought he was.

But he didn't.

Because some part of him, some deep buried part he'd been fighting for years, had finally stopped fighting.

And that was the most terrifying thing of all.
