Arrival and the First Jab
The gravel crunched under the tires as Derek's old Honda rolled to a stop in front of the sprawling ranch house. Megan pressed her palm against the passenger window, taking in the property with wide eyes. The main house was a two-story colonial with peeling white paint and a wraparound porch that sagged in places. Beyond it, a massive workshop stood with its doors thrown open, revealing the dark shapes of power tools and lumber stacks. Construction debris littered the yard. A half-finished deck jutted out from the back like a broken tooth.
She turned to Derek, trying to keep her voice light. "It's bigger than I thought."
He gave her a nervous smile, that boyish shrug that usually melted her heart. But today it just felt thin. "Yeah. Dad's been working on it for years. He says a real man builds his own home from the ground up."
"You are a real man, Derek."
"Tell him that." He killed the engine and the sudden silence felt heavy like a weight pressing down on them both.
The front door swung open before they could unbuckle. And there he was. Mark. He filled the doorway like a dark god carved from oak and iron. He wore a stained tank top that clung to every ridge of his chest, loose jeans that hung low on his hips, and a smirk that didn't reach his piercing blue eyes. He was easily six foot five, maybe two fifty, all of it hard earned muscle. A thick beard covered the lower half of his face. His arms were crossed, making the veins pop along his forearms.
"Well well well. Look what the cat dragged in." His voice was gravel and rust. "My boy Derek and his pretty little girlfriend."
Megan's stomach did a flip. She forced a smile and climbed out of the car, smoothing her sundress. The afternoon heat hit her like a wall, but it wasn't just the sun making her skin prickle. Mark's eyes were on her, tracing her curves as she stood, taking in every inch of her body.
Derek walked around the car, his posture already shrinking. "Hey Dad. Thanks for letting us stay."
Mark clapped him on the shoulder, hard enough to make him stumble. "Course I did. Someone's gotta teach this boy how to handle a hammer. And a woman."
The joke landed like a punch. Megan's cheeks flushed. She stepped forward and extended her hand. "I'm Megan. It's so nice to meet you, Mr. Mark."
He took her hand. But he didn't shake it. He held it, his callused palm rough against her soft skin, his thumb tracing a slow circle on her wrist. His eyes dropped to her chest, then back up. "Mr. Mark. I like that. Polite. Sweet." He let go, but his gaze stayed locked on her. "Bet you're a handful too."
Derek cleared his throat. "We should grab our bags."
"Sure. I'll show you to your room." Mark turned and walked inside, his boots heavy on the wood floor.
Megan followed, her heart thudding. She could feel the weight of his stare even from behind, could feel it crawling over her bare legs, her ass, the curve of her waist. She reminded herself this was just for the summer. Just an internship. Just a chance to get closer to Derek's family.
But as she stepped into the dim cool of the house, she knew something else was brewing.
The interior was rough and unfinished in parts, polished in others. A testament to years of labor. Mark led them up the creaking stairs to a narrow hallway with three doors. He opened the last one. "This is y'all's room. Hope you don't mind the thin walls. I sleep right next door."
Megan's breath caught. She stepped into the room. It was small but clean, with a double bed, a wooden dresser, and a window overlooking the backyard. The sheets were worn but smelled of lavender. She set her bag down.
Derek followed, his shoulders hunched. "Thanks Dad."
Mark leaned against the doorframe, arms crossed again. He was looking at Megan, openly now, no pretense. "Megan. You need anything, you come find me. I'm always around. Always happy to help a pretty girl." He winked at her, slow and deliberate and heavy. "You need anything at all."
Derek nodded, not meeting his father's eyes. Mark's gaze never left Megan. She swallowed hard, feeling the heat rise in her cheeks, feeling something else stir lower in her belly that she refused to name.
"Rest up from your trip. Dinner's at six sharp." Mark pushed off the doorframe, his massive frame filling the exit for a moment longer than necessary. "Derek. Don't be late."
Then he was gone, his boots heavy on the stairs, leaving them alone in the small room with the lavender sheets and the thin walls and the suffocating weight of everything unspoken.
Megan sat on the edge of the bed. The mattress dipped more than she expected. She could hear Mark moving around downstairs, could hear the low rumble of his voice on a phone call, could feel the vibration of his presence through the old floorboards.
"He's intense," she said quietly.
Derek was already unpacking, shoving clothes into the dresser without folding them. "He's just old school. You know. Traditional."
"He was looking at me."
"He looks at everyone." Derek's voice was tight. Defensive. "That's just how he is."
Megan wanted to push further but something in Derek's posture told her to let it go. She unpacked her own bag slowly, hanging her dresses in the small closet, arranging her toiletries on the dresser. She caught her reflection in the mirror above it. Her sundress was wrinkled from the drive. Her hair was messy. Her cheeks were still flushed.
She changed into fresh clothes for dinner. A fitted top that hugged her waist. Jeans that sat low on her hips. She told herself she was dressing for Derek. Only for Derek.
But when she caught Mark watching her from the kitchen doorway as they came downstairs, his eyes dropping to the sliver of skin between her shirt and her waistband, she felt a jolt of something electric shoot through her that had nothing to do with her boyfriend.
Mark smiled. It wasn't a kind smile. "There she is. Thought you'd clean up nice. Wasn't sure."
"Thank you, Mr. Mark."
"Just Mark is fine when we're eating together. Mr. Mark makes me feel like a teacher." He pulled out a chair for her at the heavy wooden table. Not Derek's chair. His own, at the head. "Sit."
She sat. The chair was warm from where he'd been resting against it. She could smell him. Sawdust and sweat and something musky underneath that made her head swim.
Dinner was steak and potatoes, thick slabs of meat cooked rare. Mark ate with his hands, tearing into the flesh, juice running down his thick fingers. He watched Megan the whole time. Watched her cut her food into small pieces. Watched her take dainty bites. Watched her lips close around her fork.
"So," he said between bites, "Derek tells me you're here for some internship."
"Yes sir. At the county planning office. It's just for the summer."
"Good. Keep you busy during the day." He sucked grease from his thumb. "Derek's gonna be working with me on the house. Long days. Early mornings. I keep him busy."
Megan glanced at Derek. He was staring at his plate, barely eating. "I know. He told me."
"Means you'll have a lot of free time on your hands." Mark leaned back in his chair, spreading his arms wide, making himself even bigger. "Like I said. You need anything. Anything at all. You come find me."
The way he said "anything" made Megan's thighs press together under the table. She nodded, not trusting her voice.
After dinner, Derek helped clean up while Megan excused herself to use the bathroom. The hallway was narrow and dim. The bathroom door was old, with a gap at the bottom that let light spill across the floorboards. She could hear Mark downstairs, talking to Derek in low tones she couldn't quite make out.
When she came out, Mark was at the top of the stairs. Waiting. Blocking the way down.
"Bathroom work okay?" he asked.
"Yes. Thank you."
"Good." He stepped closer. Not enough to crowd her, but enough that she could feel the heat radiating off his body. "You sleep well tonight, Megan. Tomorrow's gonna be a long day."
She nodded. Her throat was dry. Her nipples had hardened under her shirt and she prayed he couldn't see.
He could see. His eyes dropped for just a moment, a flicker of recognition, of hunger. Then he stepped aside. "Goodnight."
"Goodnight, Mark."
She hurried past him, feeling his gaze on her back, on her ass, on every inch of her until she reached the bedroom and closed the door behind her.
Derek was already in bed, reading his phone. He looked up. "Everything okay?"
"Fine." She climbed in beside him, her heart racing. "Just tired."
He kissed her forehead. "Yeah. Big day tomorrow."
She lay in the dark, listening to Derek's breathing slow into sleep, listening to the house settle and creak around them. Through the thin wall, she could hear Mark moving in his room. Could hear the creak of his bed. Could hear him breathing.
She pressed her thighs together and tried not to think about the way he'd looked at her. The way his thumb had traced that circle on her wrist. The way he'd said "anything" like a promise and a threat.
It was going to be a long summer.

Chores and Close Calls
The morning sun streamed through the kitchen windows as Megan stood at the counter, finishing her coffee. She could hear Derek shuffling around upstairs, getting ready for his first day at the internship. The house was quiet except for the hum of the refrigerator and the distant sound of a power tool from somewhere outside.
She needed to be useful. That was the thought running through her mind as she washed her mug in the sink. Her parents had raised her to be polite, to offer help when staying as a guest. Especially when the host was someone like Mark, who had made his expectations clear the night before with those crude jokes at dinner.
Megan's cheeks flushed at the memory. The way he had looked at her, like he was undressing her right there at the table. The way Derek had just sat there, shrinking into his chair, saying nothing.
She shook her head, trying to push the thoughts away. It was just Mark's way. He was rough, crude, but that didn't mean anything. She was Derek's girlfriend. She was loyal.
The sound of heavy footsteps on the stairs made her turn. Derek came down, dressed in khakis and a polo shirt, his hair still damp from the shower. He looked nervous, fidgeting with the strap of his messenger bag.
"You ready for your first day?" Megan asked, forcing brightness into her voice.
"I guess so. Dad said he'd drive me to the site on his way to work. You'll be okay here?"
"Of course. I thought I'd help your dad around the house, you know, earn my keep."
Derek's face softened. "You don't have to do that. He's... he can be a lot."
"I can handle it." She kissed his cheek. "Go. You'll be late."
He hesitated, then nodded. "Okay. I'll text you."
She watched him leave, the door clicking shut behind him. Then she was alone in the kitchen, listening to the sounds of the house, waiting.
Mark came in through the back door twenty minutes later, wiping his hands on a stained rag. He was wearing a tight gray tank top that showed every ridge of muscle in his chest and arms. Sweat glistened on his forearms, on his neck. He looked at her and grinned.
"Still here, huh? Thought you'd be bored by now."
"I wanted to ask if there's anything I can do to help around here. Chores, cleaning, whatever you need."
He raised an eyebrow. "That so? You sure you're up for it? I work hard. I don't take it easy on anyone."
"I'm sure." She met his eyes, trying to seem confident.
"Alright then. Let's start with the groceries. I got a truckload in the back of my pickup. Need to bring it all in and put it away."
She followed him outside, the morning heat already oppressive. His truck was loaded with bags and boxes. He handed her the first one, his fingers brushing against hers. A deliberate touch, she was sure of it.
"Start with those," he said, pointing to the heaviest bags. "I'll get the rest."
She grabbed a bag, the handles cutting into her palms. It was heavy, filled with cans and jars. She carried it inside, her arms straining, and set it on the counter. When she turned, he was right behind her, so close she could smell his sweat, his breath.
"Good girl," he said, his voice low. "Keep going."
She made trip after trip, each time finding him closer, his body brushing against hers as she passed. The third time, his hand landed on her hip as she reached past him to set down a bag. She froze, but he just chuckled.
"Easy, sweetheart. Just helping you get it down."
She nodded, not trusting her voice. Her nipples were hard against the thin fabric of her sundress, and she knew he could see it. He was looking, his eyes tracing the outline of her breasts through the material.
"Strong back for a pretty thing," he said, his gravelly voice sending a shiver down her spine. "Most girls your age can't handle this kind of work."
She swallowed. "I like to stay active."
"Good. I like a woman who can work." He stepped closer, his chest nearly touching her back. "But I also like a woman who knows how to relax."
She turned, breaking the proximity, and grabbed another bag. Her hands were shaking. She could feel his eyes on her the whole time.
The last bag was the heaviest. She struggled to lift it from the truck bed, her muscles straining. Mark watched from the porch, a beer in his hand, not offering to help.
"Come on, girl. You got it."
She grunted, finally managing to get it into her arms. The bag pressed against her chest, the weight of it pushing her breasts upward. She walked toward the house, her legs feeling weak, her body hot.
As she passed him, she stumbled. His hand shot out, catching her elbow, pulling her against him. For a second, she was pressed against his chest, his arm wrapped around her, his breath in her ear.
"Easy," he murmured. "Wouldn't want you to hurt yourself."
She pulled away, her face burning. "Thank you."
"Anytime, sweetheart."
She carried the bag inside, her heart pounding. She could feel the imprint of his arm around her, the heat of his body still on her skin.
The kitchen was a mess by the time they were done. Boxes everywhere, cans on the counter, jars waiting to be sorted. Mark leaned against the counter, watching her.
"Now the fun part," he said. "Putting it all away."
She started working, opening cabinets, finding the right shelves. He didn't leave. He stood there, his arms crossed, watching her bend and reach.
Every time she bent over to put something in a low cabinet, she could feel his eyes on her ass. Every time she reached up for a high shelf, she felt his gaze on her breasts. She tried to ignore it, tried to focus on the task.
But he made it impossible. He would step in to "help," his body pressing against hers as he reached past her. His hand would land on her hip, her waist, her lower back. Each touch was brief, almost casual, but deliberate. So deliberate.
"Watch your step there," he said as she nearly tripped over a box. His hand caught her, this time on her waist, pulling her against him for a moment longer than necessary.
She steadied herself and pulled away. "I'm fine."
"You're shaking," he observed. "Nervous?"
"No. Just... it's hot in here."
He grinned. "You can say that again."
The afternoon dragged on. He found more things for her to do. Clean the garage. Move some boxes. Sweep the back porch. Each task brought her near him, each chore was an excuse for proximity.
She was in the garage, sweeping, when he came up behind her. She didn't hear him until his voice was right in her ear.
"You missed a spot."
She jumped, the broom clattering to the floor. He laughed, a low, rough sound.
"Jumping at shadows. What's wrong, Megan? Something on your mind?"
She turned to face him, her heart racing. "I'm just trying to help, Mr. Mark. That's all."
"Mr. Mark." He smiled, but it didn't reach his eyes. "So polite. So proper. But I saw you at dinner last night. I saw your legs clench when I talked about Derek. I saw your nipples get hard."
She shook her head, backing away. "That's not..."
"Don't lie to me, girl. I been around long enough to know when a woman wants something." He stepped closer, his body blocking her path. "And you want. You just don't want to admit it."
"I have a boyfriend. Your son."
"Boy." He spat the word. "Derek is a boy. I'm a man. And you know the difference."
She didn't answer. Couldn't. Her throat was tight, her body confused. She should push past him. She should run. But her feet were rooted to the spot.
He reached out and brushed a strand of hair from her face. His fingers lingered on her cheek, her jaw, tracing down her neck. She shivered, her eyes closing against her will.
"See?" he whispered. "You like it."
She opened her eyes, tears of frustration and arousal blurring her vision. "Please..."
"Please what, Megan? Please stop? Or please keep going?"
She couldn't answer. She didn't know the answer.
His hand moved lower, fingertips tracing along her collarbone, then lower still, brushing the swell of her breast above the neckline of her sundress. Her breath caught. Her body betrayed her, leaning slightly into his touch, her back arching just enough to press her chest forward.
"That's what I thought," he murmured. His thumb found her nipple through the thin fabric, already stiff and straining against the cotton. He circled it slowly, deliberately, watching her face as she bit her lip to keep from making a sound. "Your body knows what it wants, even if your mouth says different."
She should stop him. She should push his hand away, walk out, call Derek, do something. But his fingers were warm and rough against her sensitive skin, and the ache between her legs was growing, a pulsing need that made it hard to think straight.
He cupped her breast fully, squeezing gently, and a soft moan escaped her lips before she could swallow it down. He grinned at the sound, his thumb still working her nipple in slow circles.
"Such a responsive little thing," he said. "I bet you're wet right now, aren't you? I bet those pretty panties are soaked."
She squeezed her eyes shut, humiliated by how right he was. She could feel the slick heat between her thighs, the fabric clinging to her. Her body was on fire, every nerve ending screaming for more, even as her mind screamed at her to run.
His free hand slid down her side, over her hip, and then he was pulling her closer, pressing her against him. She could feel the hard length of him through his jeans, thick and insistent against her belly. She gasped at the sensation, at the reality of it, at how much she wanted to feel more of it.
"Feel that?" he growled against her ear. "That's what a real man feels like. That's what you've been missing with my boy."
He kissed her neck, his tongue tracing a hot line from her ear to her collarbone, and she whimpered. Her hands came up to his chest, but instead of pushing him away, her fingers curled into the fabric of his tank top, gripping it, holding on.
His hand slid down from her hip, bunching the fabric of her sundress as he went. His fingers found the bare skin of her thigh, and she trembled. He stroked upward, slowly, teasingly, getting closer to the place where she was hottest, neediest.
"Tell me to stop," he said, his voice rough with desire. "Tell me to stop and I will."
She opened her mouth, but the word wouldn't come. Her hips were moving on their own, pressing forward, seeking his hand, seeking more contact. She was drowning in sensation, in the heat of his body, the strength of his hands, the raw masculinity that surrounded her.
His fingers reached the edge of her panties, and he paused, feeling the wetness there. He groaned, a low, primal sound that made her stomach clench with desire.
"Jesus, girl. You're dripping." He traced the outline of her pussy through the thin cotton, feeling her swollen lips, the heat radiating from her. "You want this so bad, don't you?"
She was panting now, her head thrown back, her hands still gripping his shirt. She couldn't deny it. Her body was screaming its need, her hips grinding against his hand, desperate for more.
He slipped a finger beneath the fabric, and the first touch of his rough skin against her bare, slick folds made her cry out. She was so wet, so ready, and his finger slid easily between her lips, finding her entrance, circling it teasingly.
"I'm going to make you come," he said, his voice a low growl. "And you're going to stand there and take it like a good girl. And then you're going to go upstairs and wash my son's cum off your face and pretend none of this happened."
She should have been horrified. She should have pushed him away, slapped him, run. But his finger pushed inside her, and all she could do was gasp and grip his shirt tighter. He filled her slowly, inch by inch, his finger curling upward to find the spot inside her that made her knees buckle.
He held her up with his other arm, pressing her against the garage wall, his finger working in and out of her in a slow, relentless rhythm. She was moaning now, couldn't stop, the sounds escaping her lips as her body moved with him, her hips rolling, seeking more, deeper, harder.
"That's it," he murmured. "Let go. I can feel you getting close. You're squeezing my finger so tight, girl. So fucking tight."
He added a second finger, stretching her, filling her, and she cried out. The pressure was building inside her, coiling tighter and tighter, her thighs trembling, her breath coming in short, desperate gasps. His thumb found her clit, pressing against it, rubbing in slow circles, and she was lost.
"Come for me, Megan. Come on my hand like the good little slut I know you are."
The orgasm hit her hard, crashing through her body in waves. She convulsed around his fingers, her inner walls clenching and releasing, her hips bucking against his hand. She buried her face in his chest to muffle her scream, her whole body shaking with the force of it.
He worked her through it, his fingers still moving inside her, drawing out every last tremor, every last aftershock. When she finally went limp against him, he withdrew his hand slowly, bringing his fingers to his mouth and tasting her.
"Sweet," he said. "Just like I knew you'd be."
She stood there, trembling, unable to look at him. Her panties were ruined, her thighs slick with her own arousal. She felt dirty, used, and yet more satisfied than she had felt in months.
He stepped back, adjusting himself, the bulge in his jeans still prominent. "Go finish the garage. Dinner's at seven."
She watched him walk away, her body still trembling, her mind a storm of shame and desire. What had she just done? What was she becoming?
And why, even now, did she want more?
Derek came home at six, tired and distracted. He talked about the internship, about the work, about his boss. He didn't notice the way she avoided his eyes. He didn't notice the way she flinched when he touched her arm.
"You okay, Meg?" he asked, finally.
"Yeah. Just tired. Long day."
He nodded, accepting it. "Dad work you hard?"
"Something like that."
Dinner was quiet. Mark was busy with paperwork, barely looking at her. She felt a strange disappointment, a hollowness in her chest. She hated herself for it.
After dinner, she helped clean up. Mark was in his office. Derek was in the shower. She stood at the sink, washing dishes, her mind a storm of guilt and desire.
She thought about his hands on her. His voice in her ear. The way his fingers had felt inside her, filling her, claiming her. The way she had come apart so easily, so completely, in the hands of her boyfriend's father.
She thought about the bulge in his jeans, the thick length she had felt against her belly. She thought about what it would feel like to have him inside her, to be stretched and filled by him, to be taken the way a real man takes a woman.
Her hand slipped beneath the waistband of her shorts, her fingers finding her slick heat. She was wet again, still wet, always wet when she thought about him. She stroked herself slowly, images of Mark flooding her mind. His hands, his mouth, his cock.
She came quickly, silently, biting her lip to keep from crying out. When it was over, she washed her hands and finished the dishes, her face flushed, her body sated but not satisfied.
It wasn't enough. She knew it would never be enough.
She was in trouble. Deep, undeniable trouble. And the worst part was, she didn't want to be saved.
Dinner Table Dominance
The dining room smelled of roasted chicken and yeast rolls, a meal Sarah had prepared before retreating to her room with a headache. Derek sat across from Megan, his leg bouncing under the table. He had hoped tonight would be different. That his father would behave. That maybe, just maybe, Mark would treat him like an adult for once.
Mark settled into his chair at the head of the table, a bottle of beer in his thick hand. He wore a stained tank top that showed the dusting of hair on his broad chest. His eyes found Megan immediately, scanning her like a blueprint. She had worn a simple sundress, pale yellow, with thin straps. Her hair was pulled back, revealing the elegant curve of her neck.
"Smells good," Mark said, not looking at the food but at her. "You help with that, Megan?"
She smiled politely. "Yes, sir. I chopped the vegetables."
"Sir." Mark chuckled, taking a long pull from his beer. "Hear that, Derek? Your girl's got manners. Where'd you find her?"
Derek's jaw tightened. "We met in English lit."
"English lit." Mark repeated the words like they tasted bad. "Well, I hope you're learning more than books, boy. A pretty thing like this needs attention."
Megan's cheeks flushed. She reached for her water glass, sipping slowly. Derek watched her hand tremble slightly. He wanted to say something, to defend her honor or his own, but the words lodged in his throat like stones.
Mark carved the chicken with rough, practiced strokes. "So, Megan. You like what you've seen of the place so far?"
"It's beautiful, Mr. Foreman."
"Call me Mark." He winked at her. "We ain't formal around here."
The meal began. Mark ate with his hands, tearing bread, slathering butter. He talked about the construction site, about the men he bossed around all day. Derek offered a few comments about his internship, but Mark waved them off.
"That ain't real work, son. Pushing papers. Come work with me. I'll teach you what a man does."
Derek stared at his plate. "I'm doing fine, Dad."
"Fine." Mark snorted. "That's your problem. You're always just fine."
Megan shifted in her seat. Derek noticed the way her sundress rode up her thighs. He noticed the way Mark's eyes followed the motion, lingering on the pale skin, the curve of her hip. He wanted to cover her, to hide her from his father's gaze, but he felt frozen.
Mark continued, his voice dropping to a conspiratorial tone. "You know, Megan, I worry about my boy. He's always been... soft. His mother coddled him."
"He's sweet," Megan said, her voice barely above a whisper.
"Sweet." Mark laughed, a deep, rough sound. "That's one word for it. But a woman like you needs more than sweet, don't she?"
Megan's fork clattered against her plate. She picked it up quickly, but her hand was shaking. Derek saw the flush creep down her neck, staining the top of her chest. He knew that look. He had seen it before, when she was turned on. But why now? Why here?
"I don't know what you mean," she said softly.
Mark leaned back in his chair, the wood groaning under his weight. He gestured with his beer bottle. "Sure you do. A girl like you, all those curves, that pretty face. You need a man who can handle you. Not some boy who's still figuring out how to hold a hammer."
"Dad, come on," Derek said, his voice cracking.
"What? I'm just talking." Mark's eyes glittered with malice. "You think you can satisfy her, Derek? Really? Look at her. Look at what you've got. And tell me you know what to do with it."
Megan's breath hitched. She pressed her thighs together under the table, a reflex she couldn't control. The words hit her like a physical force, and she hated how much they affected her. She tried to think of Derek, of his gentle hands, his soft kisses. But Mark's voice, rough and commanding, filled her head.
"I'm doing my best," Derek muttered.
"Your best ain't good enough." Mark pointed his fork at Megan. "Is it, sweetheart?"
She shook her head, unable to speak. Her eyes met Derek's for a moment, and she saw the hurt there. She felt guilty, but she couldn't deny the thrill that raced through her blood.
Mark laughed again. "See? She knows. Women always know." He took another bite of chicken, chewing loudly. "Don't worry, Megan. I'll make sure my boy learns a thing or two this summer. By the time you leave, you'll have a real man's memory to hold onto."
Derek's hands were fists under the table. He wanted to shout, to stand up and demand respect. But his father's shadow was too long, too dark. He remembered the last time he had talked back. The memory made his stomach turn.
Megan forced a smile. "I'm sure Derek will do great in his internship, Mr. Foreman."
"Mark," he corrected, his voice softening to a dangerous purr. "And I'm sure he will too. But that's not what we're talking about, is it?"
She looked down at her plate, the remnants of her meal swimming in gravy. She felt his gaze on her like a physical weight, pressing down, demanding surrender. Part of her wanted to give in. The other part, the loyal part, was drowning.
Mark finished his beer and crushed the can in one hand. "Alright. I'm done. Megan, you mind helping me clean up? Sarah's resting, and I could use a hand."
Derek looked up sharply. "I can help."
"No, no, you got studying to do, right? For that internship." Mark's smile was a knife. "Let the women handle the kitchen."
Megan stood, her legs weak. She carried her plate to the kitchen, Mark close behind. The dining room fell silent, and Derek was left alone at the table, staring at the empty chairs.
In the kitchen, Megan set her plate in the sink. She heard Mark's heavy footsteps stop behind her. She felt his presence, the heat of his body, before she felt his hand.
His palm settled on her lower back, just above the curve of her ass. The contact was firm, possessive. She froze, her hand still holding the plate.
"You did good tonight," he said, his voice a low rumble near her ear. "Real good. But I can tell you're tense."
She couldn't breathe. His hand was moving in slow circles, his fingers tracing the line of her spine. She felt the heat of his palm through the thin cotton of her dress. Her nipples tightened, pressing against the fabric.
"I should go check on Derek," she whispered.
"Derek's fine." Mark's other hand came to rest on the counter beside her, caging her in. "He's always fine. That's the problem."
She turned her head slightly, and his face was inches from hers. She could smell the beer on his breath, the sweat on his skin. His beard was rough, his eyes dark and hungry.
"I don't think he knows what to do with a woman like you," Mark continued, his voice dropping to a whisper. "Does he, Megan? Does he make you feel the way a woman should feel?"
She shook her head, a tiny motion. She didn't know why she was answering. She didn't know why her voice was gone.
Mark leaned closer, his lips brushing her ear. "Bet he doesn't make you wet like this talk does. Bet he's never made you feel the way I'm making you feel right now."
Her knees buckled. She grabbed the edge of the sink to steady herself. His hand slid down, over the curve of her ass, squeezing gently. She gasped, a soft, breathy sound.
"That's right," he murmured. "Let yourself feel it. There ain't no shame in wanting a real man."
She wanted to pull away. She wanted to run back to Derek, to wrap her arms around him and pretend this never happened. But her body was betraying her, arching into his touch, her hips swaying slightly.
"I can't," she said, her voice cracking. "I'm with Derek."
"Derek's a boy. You need a man." Mark's hand squeezed again, harder this time. "And I'm right here."
She bit her lip, fighting the moan that wanted to escape. His hand was so warm, so strong. She felt the calluses on his palm through the fabric, and she imagined what those hands could do to her. The thought made her wet, a hot pulse between her legs.
"You want this," he said, not a question. "You want me to take you right here, right now. Don't you, Megan?"
She shook her head, but her body betrayed her. Her hips pressed back against his hand. A soft whimper escaped her lips.
Mark chuckled, a low, dark sound. "That's what I thought."
His fingers gathered the fabric of her sundress, pulling it up slowly. The cool air hit her bare thighs, and she shivered. His calloused palm slid against her skin, rough and warm. He cupped her ass through her thin panties, squeezing the soft flesh.
"God, you're perfect," he growled. "Built for a man's hands."
She whimpered, her knuckles white on the edge of the sink. His thumb traced the edge of her panties, dipping beneath the fabric. She felt the rough texture of his skin against her most sensitive place, and her hips jerked forward.
"Easy," he murmured, his mouth hot against her neck. "I've got you."
His fingers pushed beneath the cotton, finding her wet and ready. He groaned against her skin, the sound vibrating through her body. "So fucking wet. Derek ever get you this wet, Megan?"
She couldn't answer. Her breath came in short, sharp gasps. His fingers slid through her slick folds, finding her entrance, circling it slowly. She felt herself open to him, her body yielding despite her mind's protests.
"No," she whispered. "Please."
"Please what?" His finger slipped inside her, just the tip. She moaned, her head falling back against his shoulder. "Please stop? Or please more?"
He pushed deeper, his finger sliding into her tight heat. She clenched around him, her body desperate for more. He added a second finger, stretching her, and she cried out softly.
"That's it," he said, his voice rough with desire. "Let me hear you. Let me feel how much you want this."
His thumb found her clit, pressing in slow circles. She was trembling, her legs barely holding her up. The pleasure built inside her, hot and urgent. She thought of Derek in the next room, his gentle hands, his soft kisses. But Mark's fingers were inside her, rough and demanding, and she couldn't think straight.
"You're close," Mark said, his fingers moving faster. "I can feel it. Come for me, Megan. Come on my hand like the good girl you are."
She shattered. The orgasm ripped through her, intense and overwhelming. She bit her lip to keep from screaming, but a strangled cry escaped anyway. Her body convulsed around his fingers, and he held her up, his arm around her waist.
"That's it," he murmured, his fingers still moving inside her, drawing out every last wave. "That's my good girl."
When it was over, she slumped against the counter, her breath ragged. Mark withdrew his fingers slowly, and she felt the loss acutely. He brought his hand to his mouth, tasting her.
"Sweet," he said, his eyes dark with hunger. "Just like I knew you'd be."
He stepped back, leaving her cold and trembling. "Now go to your boy. But remember this, Megan. Remember how it felt. Because I'll be waiting. And next time, I won't just use my fingers."
She turned, her legs unsteady. She walked back to the dining room, her heart pounding. Derek was still at the table, his head in his hands. He looked up when she entered.
"You okay?" he asked, his voice small.
She nodded, forcing a smile. "Just tired. I think I'll go to bed."
He stood, reaching for her. "I'll come with you."
She flinched, pulling away. "No. I need some time alone. Okay?"
His face fell, but he nodded. "Sure. I'll be up soon."
She climbed the stairs, her body still tingling from Mark's touch. She closed the bedroom door and leaned against it, her hand pressed to her chest. She could still feel his fingers inside her, the rough texture of his skin, the way he had made her come apart so easily.
She hated herself for wanting it. She hated the way her body responded, the ache in her nipples, the persistent throb between her legs. She thought of Derek, sweet Derek, and guilt washed over her like a cold wave.
But beneath the guilt, there was a thrill. A dark, forbidden thrill that made her pulse quicken. She had never felt so alive, so wanted. Mark's words echoed in her mind: Bet he doesn't make you wet like this talk does.
She touched herself through her dress, pressing her thighs together. She was still wet. So wet. And she knew, with a sinking certainty, that she would be back in that kitchen tomorrow. And the next night. And the night after that.
Because Mark was right. Derek didn't make her feel this way. And she didn't know if she could go back to not feeling it.
She slipped into bed, the sheets cool against her heated skin. She heard Derek climb the stairs an hour later, his footsteps hesitant. He paused outside the door, then moved on to the guest room.
She closed her eyes, and in the darkness, she saw Mark's face. She felt his fingers inside her. She heard his voice, low and possessive, claiming her without a single claim.
And she knew, with a certainty that terrified her, that she was already his.
Porch Whispers
The clock on the nightstand glowed faintly in the dark, its numbers burning into Megan's vision as she lay on her back, watching the ceiling fan's slow rotation. The blades cut through humid air that clung to her skin like a second layer. She had kicked off the thin sheet ages ago, her cotton shorts and tank top doing nothing against the oppressive heat that seemed to settle into the old house's bones at night.
Beside her, Derek slept soundly, one arm thrown across his face, his breathing deep and even. He had that ability, the gift of dropping off anywhere, anytime, like a switch flipped in his brain. She envied it, especially tonight, when her mind raced with images she couldn't shake. Mark's hands on her back in the kitchen. The gravel of his voice saying he bets Derek doesn't make her wet like that talk does. The way her body had responded, a hot curl of shame and something else she refused to name.
She slipped out of bed, her feet finding the cool wood floor. Derek didn't stir. He never did.
The hallway stretched dark and silent, the floorboards groaning under her weight as she made her way down the stairs. She knew the house well enough now to avoid the creakiest spots, a skill she had developed over the past week. The kitchen tiles were cold against her bare feet as she padded to the back door, easing it open with practiced care.
The porch wrapped around the back of the house, a wide wooden deck that overlooked the overgrown yard. The air out here was marginally cooler, carrying the scent of cut grass and something wild, like night-blooming jasmine. She settled into one of the old wicker chairs, pulling her knees up to her chest, and let out a long breath.
The stars were out, scattered across the sky like salt on dark cloth. She focused on them, trying to let her mind go blank, trying to forget the way Mark's hand had felt on her lower back, heavy and possessive. Trying to forget how she had leaned into it, just slightly, before catching herself.
She didn't hear him come out.
The screen door squeaked, and her heart jumped into her throat. She turned, and there he was, filling the doorway with that massive frame, a beer in one hand and a lazy grin on his face.
"Couldn't sleep either, huh?" Mark said. He didn't wait for an invitation. He crossed the porch in a few long strides and lowered himself into the chair beside hers, the wicker creaking in protest. "This heat's a bitch. Gets in your bones."
Megan hugged her knees tighter. "Yeah. I just needed some air."
He took a long pull from his beer, his eyes on the yard. In the dim light from the kitchen window, she could see the lines of his face, the thickness of his beard, the way his shoulders seemed to block out everything behind him. He wore a stained tank top and loose shorts, his legs spread wide, taking up space like he owned it.
Because he did own it. He owned all of this.
"Derek sleeping like a baby?" Mark asked, but it wasn't really a question. It was a setup.
"Yeah," she said. "He's out."
"Course he is." Mark chuckled, a low sound that vibrated in his chest. "That boy could sleep through a tornado. Always could. Used to piss the bed as a kid, and I'd have to wake him up to change the sheets. He'd just lie there, wet and warm, not a care in the world."
Megan shifted in her chair, unsure where this was going.
"Soft," he continued, taking another drink. "That's what he is. Soft. Like his mother." He looked at her then, those pale blue eyes finding hers in the dark. "You ever wonder why a girl like you ended up with a boy like him?"
"I love him," she said, but the words felt hollow, automatic.
"Love." Mark snorted. "Love's just a word, sweetheart. A pretty word girls use to excuse bad decisions. You're a catch. Pretty face, nice body, smart. You could have any man you wanted. Any man." He let that hang in the air. "But you picked my boy. Why's that?"
She didn't have an answer. Not one that would satisfy him. "He's kind," she tried. "He's sweet."
"Sweet." Mark said the word like it was a disease. "Sweet don't fuck you right, Megan. Sweet don't make you feel like a woman. Sweet gets you a ring and a house with a white picket fence and a lifetime of boring sex on your back with the lights off."
Her breath caught. He had never been this direct before, not outside of the kitchen, not without Derek nearby.
"I'm just saying," he went on, his voice dropping to something almost conversational, "I've been around. I know women. I know what they need. And my boy? He doesn't have it in him. He never did."
Megan's hands were shaking. She pressed them between her knees to still them. "Mark, I should go back inside."
"Why?" He leaned forward, elbows on his knees, the beer dangling between his fingers. "Because I'm telling you the truth? Because it's making you uncomfortable?" He smiled, and it wasn't a kind smile. "Good. Uncomfortable's where growth happens. Uncomfortable's where you figure out what you really want."
"I know what I want," she said, but her voice wavered.
"Yeah? What's that?" He was looking at her now, really looking, his eyes traveling down her body, lingering on the curve of her breasts under the thin tank top, the bare skin of her thighs. "You want a man who's gonna put you on a pedestal and worship you from a distance? Or you want a man who's gonna take what he wants and make you beg for more?"
She couldn't breathe. The air was too thick, too heavy with something electric.
"I saw you in the kitchen tonight," he said, his voice dropping lower. "Saw the way your nipples got hard when I touched you. Saw the way you pressed your ass back against me when I got close. You think I didn't notice?"
"Mark, please." It was barely a whisper.
"Please what?" He set the beer down on the deck and turned to face her fully. His hand landed on her knee, heavy and warm, and she froze. "Please stop? Please keep going? You gotta use your words, Megan. I can't read your mind."
She should have pushed his hand away. She should have stood up and walked inside and locked the door behind her. But she didn't. She sat there, heart hammering, as his fingers began to trace slow circles on her skin.
"See?" he said, his thumb brushing the inside of her knee. "You're not moving. You don't want to move. You want to see where this goes."
"I have a boyfriend," she managed. "He's your son."
"I know who he is." Mark's hand slid higher, his fingers finding the hem of her shorts. "And I know he ain't never touched you like this. Am I right?"
She didn't answer. Couldn't answer. Because he was right. Derek's hands were always gentle, always careful, always asking permission. They never took. They never claimed.
"That's what I thought." His fingers slipped under the hem of her shorts, brushing the sensitive skin of her inner thigh. "Tell me something, Megan. When was the last time he made you come?"
A sob caught in her throat. "That's not..."
"Because I bet it's been a while. I bet you lie awake at night, touching yourself, thinking about what it would feel like to have a real man take control." His hand moved higher, his fingertips grazing the edge of her panties. "Am I close?"
She was shaking now, her whole body trembling. She should say no. She should stop this. But the words wouldn't come.
"Let me show you what you're missing," he said, and his hand pressed forward, his fingers sliding under the cotton of her panties, finding her wet, so wet, embarrassingly wet. "Jesus Christ, girl. You're soaked."
She gasped as his thumb found her clit, circling it with practiced precision. Her head fell back against the chair, her mouth open, her eyes squeezed shut. His touch was different from anything she had known, confident and deliberate, like he had all the time in the world and intended to use every second of it. He knew exactly where to press, how to move, reading her body's responses with an expertise that made her thighs fall open wider of their own accord.
"That's it," he murmured, his voice a low rumble that seemed to vibrate through her bones. "Let me feel you. Let me hear you."
His fingers worked her, sliding through her folds, spreading her wetness around. He slipped one finger inside her, then another, curling them upward in a slow, deliberate rhythm that found a place deep within her she hadn't known existed. His thumb continued its maddening circles on her clit, varying pressure and speed in a way that kept her gasping, kept her hips rolling against his hand in a rhythm as old as time.
She was so sensitive, so keyed up from days of tension, that she felt herself climbing fast, too fast, the pressure building in her core like a spring wound tight. Her hands gripped the arms of the wicker chair, knuckles white, her body taut as a bowstring.
"Please," she heard herself say, not sure what she was asking for.
"Please what, sweetheart?" His fingers slowed, teasing her, keeping her on the edge. His thumb stilled its movement, and she whimpered at the loss. "You gotta tell me what you want."
"I want..." She couldn't say it. Couldn't admit it.
"You want me to make you come, don't you? You want your boyfriend's daddy to finger you on the back porch while he sleeps upstairs."
The words were filthy, and they should have been a bucket of cold water. Instead, they made her hotter. They made her clench around his fingers, a fresh wave of wetness flooding his hand.
"Yes," she breathed. "Please."
He rewarded her with pressure, his thumb pressing down on her clit as two fingers slid deep inside her, stretching her, filling her in a way Derek never had. She cried out, a sharp, broken sound, and clamped a hand over her own mouth.
"That's right," Mark said, pumping his fingers in and out of her with a steady, relentless rhythm. "Quiet now. You don't want Derek to hear, do you? You don't want him to see his girl getting off on his daddy's hand."
She shook her head, tears leaking from her eyes. His fingers curled inside her, finding that spot again and again, while his thumb worked her clit in tight, perfect circles. The pleasure was building, wave after wave, each one higher than the last, and she could not stop it, didn't want to stop it.
"Look at me," Mark commanded, and her eyes fluttered open, meeting his pale blue gaze in the darkness. "Look at me while you come. I want to see it. I want to see your face when you fall apart."
That was what pushed her over. His eyes, dark and hungry, watching her with an intensity that made her feel seen in a way she never had before. Seen and known and claimed.
"Come for me, Megan." His voice was a command, low and certain. "Come on my hand like a good girl."
And she did. Her body arched, her back bowing off the chair, and the orgasm crashed through her, hot and violent, leaving her gasping. Her inner walls clenched around his fingers, pulsing, and she felt herself gush against his palm, the wetness spreading down her thighs. His fingers kept moving, drawing it out, milking every last tremor from her until she collapsed, limp and shaking, her breath coming in ragged sobs.
He pulled his hand out slowly, deliberately, and brought his fingers to his mouth. He licked them clean, his eyes never leaving hers, savoring her taste with a deliberate slowness that made her core clench again, even now, even after.
"Tastes like honey," he said, his voice rough. "Sweet and wet and ready. My boy's too soft for a body like yours, Megan. But I'm not."
She sat there, chest heaving, unable to speak, unable to think. The guilt was already settling in, a cold weight in her stomach, but underneath it, buried deep, was something else. Something that felt like hunger.
"You should go back to bed now," Mark said, picking up his beer. "Get some sleep. We got a long day tomorrow."
She stood on shaky legs, her shorts still damp, her thighs sticky. She walked to the door, her hand on the frame, and paused.
"Mark?" she said, her voice small.
"Yeah?"
She didn't know what she wanted to say. Thank you? I'm sorry? Please do that again?
"Goodnight," she said instead.
"Goodnight, sweetheart."
She went inside, up the stairs, down the hall, and slipped into bed beside Derek. He rolled over, mumbling something in his sleep, and threw an arm over her waist. She lay there, staring at the ceiling, her body still humming, her mind a tangle of shame and desire.
She was soaked. Guilty. And already counting the hours until tomorrow night.
Sweaty Labors
The heat was brutal. Even with the garage door open, the air hung thick and still, filled with the smell of sawdust, motor oil, and Mark's sweat. Megan wiped her forehead with the back of her hand, leaving a streak of dirt across her skin. She was helping him organize tools, a task that had seemed innocent enough this morning.
"Hand me that wrench, girl," Mark said, his voice a low rumble that cut through the oppressive silence.
She reached for the wrench on the high shelf, her sundress riding up as she stretched. She felt his eyes on her, tracing the line of her thighs, the curve of her ass. Her skin prickled under his gaze.
"You're getting all sweaty," he said, stepping closer. "Good. A woman should work up a sweat. Shows she's useful."
His hand brushed her hip as he took the wrench from her. The contact was brief, but it sent a jolt through her body. She stepped back, her heart hammering in her chest.
"I should probably get some water," she said, her voice shaky.
"Later," he said, his hand on her arm, stopping her. "We're almost done here."
He was so close she could feel the heat radiating off his body. His tank top was soaked with sweat, clinging to the broad planes of his chest. She could see the dark hair there, the thick muscles of his arms. She swallowed hard.
"You're doing good, Megan," he said, his voice dropping. "Real good."
His hand moved from her arm to her lower back, pressing her forward. She stumbled, her body colliding with his. The contact was electric, her breasts pressing against his hard chest. She gasped.
"Sorry," she mumbled, trying to pull away.
"Don't be," he said, his hand tightening on her back. "I don't mind."
He held her there for a long moment, his eyes boring into hers. She could feel his cock, hard against her hip. Her breath caught in her throat.
"We shouldn't," she whispered.
"We shouldn't what?" he asked, a smirk playing on his lips. "Help each other out?"
He released her, but his hand lingered on her back, guiding her toward the workbench. She went, her legs feeling weak.
"Let's take a break," he said, his voice casual. "Sit down."
He gestured to the workbench, and she sat on the edge, her legs dangling. He stood in front of her, his body blocking the light from the door.
"You're a pretty thing, Megan," he said, his eyes roaming over her body. "Too pretty for my boy."
She looked down, her cheeks burning. "Don't say that."
"It's true," he said, stepping closer. "He don't know how to handle a woman like you."
His hand came up, cupping her chin, forcing her to look at him. "I can see it in your eyes. You need a real man."
She shook her head, but the gesture was weak. She could feel the heat between her legs, the ache that had been growing since she arrived.
"I'm with Derek," she said, her voice barely a whisper.
"For now," he said, his thumb tracing her lower lip. "But we both know that won't last."
He leaned in, his lips brushing her ear. "I can feel how wet you are from here, girl. Your body knows what it wants."
She moaned, a soft sound that escaped before she could stop it. His hand moved from her chin to her neck, trailing down to her collarbone.
"Let me show you what a real man can do," he said, his voice a growl.
His hand moved lower, cupping her breast through the thin fabric of her sundress. She gasped, her back arching slightly.
"We can't," she said, but her voice was breathless, lacking conviction.
"We can," he said, his thumb rubbing her nipple through the fabric. "We will."
He leaned her back on the workbench, his body pressing against hers. She could feel his cock, hard and thick, against her thigh. Her head was spinning, the heat, the sweat, the smell of him overwhelming her senses.
His hand moved down her body, over her stomach, to the hem of her dress. He pushed it up, his fingers finding the waistband of her panties.
"Mark," she breathed, her hands gripping the edge of the workbench.
"Shh," he said, his fingers sliding under her panties. "Just feel."
His fingers found her clit, slick and swollen. She cried out, her hips bucking against his hand. He chuckled, a low, dark sound.
"So responsive," he said. "My boy never touched you here, did he?"
She shook her head, unable to speak. Derek's touches were always gentle, tentative. This was different. This was raw, demanding.
His fingers circled her clit, slowly, deliberately. She was soaking wet, her juices coating his fingers. He pushed one finger inside her, then two, stretching her.
"Oh god," she moaned.
"That's it," he said, his voice rough. "Take it."
He pumped his fingers in and out of her, his thumb still working her clit. She was close, so close, her body trembling on the edge.
"Please," she begged, not knowing what she was asking for.
"Please what?" he asked, his fingers slowing. "Tell me what you want."
"I want... I need..."
"Say it," he demanded, his fingers stilling.
"I need to come," she whispered, the words tearing out of her.
He smiled, a predatory grin. "Then come."
His fingers moved faster, harder, pushing her over the edge. She cried out, her body convulsing as the orgasm ripped through her. She saw stars, her vision blurring as she came on his hand.
He held her there, his fingers still inside her, as she shuddered and gasped. When she finally stilled, he pulled his hand out, bringing his fingers to his lips.
"Sweet," he said, licking them clean. "Just like I knew you'd be."
She lay there, her body limp, her mind reeling. She had just let Derek's father finger her to orgasm on a workbench in the garage. The shame was overwhelming, but so was the pleasure.
"We can't do this again," she said, her voice weak.
"We will," he said, helping her sit up. "Tonight. On the porch. Same time."
She shook her head, but she knew it was a lie. She would be there. She couldn't stop herself.
The sound of a car pulling into the driveway broke the spell. Derek was home early.
Mark stepped back, his expression shifting to casual indifference. "Better clean yourself up, girl. Wouldn't want my boy to see you like this."
She scrambled off the workbench, straightening her dress, wiping the sweat from her face. Her legs were shaky, her panties soaked.
Derek walked into the garage, his face brightening when he saw her. "Hey, Meg. I got off early. Thought we could grab lunch."
She forced a smile. "That sounds great, babe."
He looked at her, his brow furrowing. "You okay? You look flushed."
"It's just the heat," she said, avoiding Mark's eyes. "I was helping your dad organize the tools."
Derek looked at Mark, who gave a curt nod. "She's a good worker. Stronger than she looks."
Derek's smile faltered, but he nodded. "Yeah, she is. Well, let's go, Meg. I'm starving."
She took his hand, letting him lead her out of the garage. She could feel Mark's eyes on her back, burning into her skin.
That night, after Derek had fallen asleep, she lay awake, her body aching with need. She knew she shouldn't go. She knew it was wrong. But her feet carried her to the porch anyway.
Mark was there, waiting for her, a beer in his hand. He didn't say anything, just watched her as she sat down next to him.
"You came," he said, his voice low.
"I shouldn't have," she said, but she didn't move away.
He set the beer down, his hand moving to her thigh. His fingers traced patterns on her skin, moving higher, under her nightgown.
"I've been thinking about you all day," he said, his voice a whisper. "About how you felt on my fingers."
She shivered, her thighs parting slightly. His fingers found her, already wet, already ready.
"You're so wet for me," he said, his fingers sliding inside her. "So ready."
She moaned, her head falling back. His fingers moved inside her, finding her rhythm, pushing her toward another orgasm.
"Derek's asleep," he said, his voice a low growl. "He can't hear us. He can't stop us."
His fingers moved faster, harder, pushing her over the edge. She came with a cry, her body shuddering against his hand.
He didn't stop. His fingers kept moving, pushing her toward another peak.
"That's two," he said, his voice dark. "But I'm not done with you yet."
His hand moved from her pussy to her hip, pulling her onto his lap. She could feel his cock, hard and thick, pressing against her.
"Not here," she whispered. "Someone might see."
"No one's watching," he said, his hands gripping her hips. "And even if they were, I don't give a damn."
He lifted her nightgown, his cock pressing against her entrance. She was so wet, so ready, that he slid inside her with one smooth thrust.
She gasped, her nails digging into his shoulders. He was so big, filling her completely.
"That's it," he groaned. "Take it all."
He fucked her on the porch, the night air cool on her skin, his body hot against hers. She rode him, her hips moving in a desperate rhythm, chasing the pleasure.
He came inside her, his hot seed filling her. She collapsed against him, her body spent.
"See?" he said, his voice a whisper. "That's what a real man feels like."
She didn't answer. She couldn't. She just lay there, in his arms, knowing that she was his now. Completely and utterly his. And she didn't want it any other way.
Fractured Loyalties
Derek noticed it first during breakfast. Megan picked at her toast, eyes distant, not really seeing him across the table. He asked if she was okay, and she smiled too quickly, said she was fine, just tired. But her fingers trembled around her coffee mug, and she kept glancing toward the window, toward the yard where Mark's truck was parked.
He didn't push. That wasn't his way. He just watched her, feeling that familiar tightness gather in his chest. Something was off, but he couldn't name it. Maybe she was homesick. Maybe the summer heat was getting to her. Maybe he was just being paranoid.
But at lunch, when he came back from his internship, he found her in the kitchen, and she jumped when he touched her shoulder. She'd been staring at the counter, not moving, just standing there. He asked again, softer this time, and she turned to him with those green eyes that used to melt him into puddles. Now they looked scared.
"Meg, what's going on?" he asked, keeping his voice gentle.
She shook her head, auburn curls bouncing. "Nothing, Derek. I'm just tired. Really. It's nothing."
"You've been distant all day," he said. "Did something happen? Did my dad say something to you?"
Her face flushed, and she looked away. "No. No, it's fine. He's been nice, actually. Helpful."
That word stung. Helpful. He thought of Mark's heavy hand on her lower back, the way his dad watched her move around the kitchen. He thought of the garage, the sweat, the way she'd looked flushed and guilty afterward.
"Meg, you can tell me anything," he said, taking her hand. It felt cold in his. "I'm here for you."
She finally met his eyes, and for a second, he saw something raw and scared. Then she smiled, and it was almost real. "I know, Derek. I love you. I'm just tired. That's all."
He wanted to believe her. He needed to believe her. So he nodded and let go of her hand and went to shower, pretending the weight in his chest was just anxiety.
Dinner was worse.
Mark sat at the head of the table, his big body relaxed, his grin wide. He'd grilled steaks, and they were perfect, but Derek couldn't eat. Mark's eyes kept drifting to Megan, who sat across from Derek, her sundress riding up her thighs.
"So, Derek," Mark said, chewing a piece of meat, "how's the internship going? They teaching you anything useful, or is it just a bunch of paper pushing?"
"It's good, Dad. I'm learning a lot."
"Learning what? How to sit in a chair? How to type on a computer?" Mark laughed, deep and rough. "That's not real work, son. Real work is out there, in the heat, building things with your hands."
Derek nodded, not arguing. He never argued.
Mark turned to Megan, his voice dropping. "What about you, sweetheart? You finding enough to do around here? This place must be boring for a girl like you."
Megan's fork scraped the plate. "It's fine, Mr. Mark. I like helping out."
"Helping out," Mark repeated, and the words felt heavy, loaded. "That's good. I like a woman who's not afraid to get her hands dirty."
Derek watched Megan's cheeks pinken. He saw her thighs press together under the table. He felt sick.
"You know, Derek," Mark said, not looking at him, "you're lucky to have a girl like Megan. Pretty, polite, willing to help around the house. Most girls your age are out partying, not hanging around their boyfriend's dad's house."
"I know, Dad. I'm lucky."
"Are you?" Mark asked, and now his eyes locked on Derek's. Cold. Hard. "Because from where I'm sitting, it looks like you're taking her for granted. Not giving her what she needs."
Derek's throat tightened. "What do you mean?"
Mark shrugged, a big motion of his shoulders. "I mean, a girl like this needs attention. Needs someone to take care of her. You're always off at that internship, leaving her here with me. I'm just saying, if I was your age, I'd be making sure she knew she was wanted."
Megan's voice cut through, high and nervous. "It's really fine, Mr. Mark. Derek treats me great."
Mark held up his hands, a mock surrender. "Hey, I'm just looking out for you both. That's what fathers do, right? Look out for their kids?"
Derek nodded, not trusting his voice. He felt like a child again, small and weak under his father's gaze.
After dinner, Megan helped clear the table, and Derek watched Mark's hand brush her hip as she passed. She didn't flinch. She didn't pull away. She just kept moving, her face a mask of politeness.
That night, Derek lay in bed, staring at the ceiling. Megan had said she was tired, that she wanted to go to sleep early. But she wasn't next to him. She'd said she needed some air, that she'd be right back.
That was twenty minutes ago.
He heard the faint creak of the porch swing, the low rumble of a voice that wasn't his. Mark's voice.
His heart pounded, but he stayed in bed. He told himself it was nothing. They were just talking. His dad was just being friendly. He was being paranoid.
But the tightness in his chest was worse now, and his hands were shaking.
He heard a soft moan, carried on the night air. Then silence.
He closed his eyes and pretended to sleep.
On the porch, Megan sat on the swing, her legs pressed together, her hands in her lap. Mark stood in front of her, blocking the moonlight, his big frame casting a shadow over her.
"You've been avoiding me," he said, his voice low and gravelly. "That's not polite, sweetheart."
"I'm not avoiding you," she said, but her voice was thin. "I just needed some air."
He sat down next to her, the swing groaning under his weight. His thigh pressed against hers, hot and solid. She didn't move away.
"Derek's asleep," he said. "He always sleeps early. Never stays up to check on his girl."
"He trusts me," she whispered.
"Trusts you?" Mark laughed, low and cruel. "He doesn't know what he's got. But I do. I've been watching you, Megan. Watching you squirm at dinner. Watching you press your thighs together when I talk."
She shook her head, but her body betrayed her. Her nipples were hard under her thin shirt. Her skin was hot.
"Don't lie to me," he said, and his hand landed on her thigh, heavy and possessive. "I can feel how wet you are from right here."
She gasped as his fingers dug into her soft flesh, moving up, up, under the hem of her shorts.
"Mr. Mark, we can't..."
"We can't what, sweetheart?" His hand was on her panties now, pressing against the damp cotton. "We can't do this? Because your body's saying something else."
She was frozen, caught between guilt and need. His fingers found the edge of her panties and slipped under, into her wet heat. She moaned, a sound she couldn't stop.
"That's it," he growled. "That's my girl."
He worked her slowly, deliberately, his thick fingers sliding through her slick folds, exploring every inch of her. His calloused thumb found her clit and circled it with practiced ease, applying just enough pressure to make her gasp. Her head fell back against the swing, her mouth open, her breath coming in ragged gasps.
"Derek's never made you feel like this, has he?" Mark whispered, his voice harsh in her ear. "He doesn't know how to touch a woman. He's too soft, too gentle."
She shook her head, tears streaming down her cheeks. Shame and pleasure mixed, swirling in her gut.
"But you know who does know? Me. I know exactly how to make you come."
His fingers plunged into her, two thick digits, and she cried out, her hips bucking against his hand. He held them there, letting her walls clench around him, feeling her body stretch to accommodate his size.
"God, you're tight," he muttered against her neck, his breath hot on her skin. "Derek's not filling you up right, is he? Not giving you what this pretty pussy needs."
She whimpered, unable to form words. His thumb continued its maddening circles on her clit while his fingers curled inside her, finding that spot that made her vision blur.
"He'll never know a real man," Mark said, his pace quickening. "But you will. You already do."
He added a third finger, stretching her further, and she sobbed at the fullness. His other hand came up to grip her breast through her shirt, kneading roughly, pinching her hardened nipple between his fingers. The dual sensation was too much, pushing her closer to the edge.
"You're so wet for me," he growled, his fingers slick with her arousal. "Dripping on my hand like a little slut. Derek's girl, coming apart on his daddy's fingers."
She was close, so close, her body trembling, her mind screaming no but her soul yes.
"He's probably lying in bed right now, wondering where you are," Mark continued, his voice a cruel whisper. "But he won't come looking. He's too scared. Too weak. Just like his daddy said."
She sobbed, the words cutting through her, and then the orgasm hit her, a violent shudder that tore through her body. She clamped down on his fingers, her walls spasming, her juices soaking his hand and running down her thighs. Her back arched off the swing, a strangled cry escaping her lips as wave after wave of pleasure crashed through her.
Mark held her through it, his other hand gripping her hip to steady her, his lips close to her ear. "That's it, ride it out. Show me what a good girl you are."
She continued to pulse around his fingers, aftershocks rippling through her body. He stroked her slowly now, coaxing every last tremor from her oversensitive flesh, until she collapsed against his chest, spent and shaking.
"You're mine now, girl," he said, pulling his fingers free and bringing them to his mouth. He tasted her, groaning with satisfaction. "He'll never know a real man."
She cried softly, her forehead pressed to his chest, feeling the solid beat of his heart. She knew she was lost.
In the bedroom, Derek heard the creak of the porch swing. He heard a soft cry, muffled, cut off. He told himself it was a bird, a cat, the wind. He rolled over and buried his face in the pillow.
He couldn't sleep.
He lay awake, listening, waiting for her to come back.
When she finally slipped into bed, her skin was cool, but her breath was uneven. She lay on her side, facing away from him.
He wanted to ask. He wanted to know. But he was afraid of the answer.
So he just lay there, staring at the ceiling, feeling the distance between them grow.
In the morning, Megan was quiet, but she smiled at him. She made him breakfast. She kissed his cheek before he left for his internship.
And he pretended everything was fine.
But he couldn't shake the feeling that something had broken between them, something he couldn't fix.
He thought about his father's words at dinner. About not giving her what she needed. About being weak.
Maybe his dad was right.
Maybe he was too soft.
Maybe he deserved to lose her.
He pushed the thought away and focused on his work, but the weight in his chest stayed heavy.
All day, he thought about her. About them. About what he was missing.
And at night, he heard the porch swing creak again, and he stayed still.
He couldn't check.
He couldn't stop her.
He just lay there, pretending to sleep, while his girlfriend was outside with his father.
He heard her muffled cries, and he turned over, pulling the pillow over his head.
He couldn't face it.
He was too weak.
Just like his dad said.
The Breaking Point
The days after the porch incident blurred together in a haze of avoidance and stolen glances. Megan made sure she was never alone with Mark. She stayed close to Derek, clung to his arm at dinner, retreated to their room early each night. But the memory of his fingers working her to climax haunted her. She felt his touch everywhere. She hated how much she wanted more.
Mark watched her squirm with amusement. He gave her space, let her think she was in control. But his eyes followed her everywhere, dark and knowing. At dinner he was quieter than usual, but the tension was palpable. Derek tried to fill the silence with talk about his internship, about the project he was leading, about anything that might prove his worth. Mark just grunted and ate his steak.
On the fourth day, Megan thought she might be safe. Derek had left early for a site visit. Mark was supposed to be at work too. She decided to do laundry, gathered the clothes, walked out to the shed where the machines were. The moment she stepped inside, she knew it was a mistake.
The door clicked shut behind her.
"Been avoiding me, girl?" Mark's voice came from the shadows. He leaned against the wall, arms crossed, a smirk playing on his lips. He wore a stained tank top and jeans that hung low on his hips. His boots were dirty from the site. He looked like he'd been waiting.
Megan's heart hammered. "I thought you were at work."
"Left early. Had a feeling you'd come out here." He pushed off the wall, walked toward her slowly. Each step was deliberate, predatory. "You think you can hide from me after what we shared?"
"We didn't share anything," she whispered, backing up until her spine hit the washing machine. "That was a mistake."
"Mistake?" Mark laughed, a low, gravelly sound. "That wasn't no mistake, sweetheart. That was the first time a real man touched you. And you loved it."
Megan shook her head, but her body betrayed her. Her nipples hardened under her thin t-shirt. Her thighs pressed together, remembering the feel of his rough fingers.
Mark saw it. He always saw. "Yeah, you remember. That little cunt of yours remembers. It's been what, three days? Four? Bet you've been touching yourself at night, thinking about me."
"No."
"Liar." He was close now, so close she could smell him: sweat and sawdust and something raw and masculine. "Derek's been fucking you, hasn't he? Trying to prove himself. But it ain't the same, is it?"
Megan's breath hitched. It was true. Derek had tried, twice since the porch. But his touch felt weak, fumbling. She'd had to close her eyes, pretend. She hated herself for it.
"That's what I thought." Mark's hand came up, cupped her cheek. His thumb traced her lower lip. "You need a real man. You need me."
"Mr. Mark, please..."
"Shut up." His voice was soft but iron. "You're gonna do something for me. Right now. And you're gonna do it because you want to, because your body knows what your mouth won't admit."
He stepped back, giving her room. But his eyes pinned her in place. "On your knees."
Megan's legs trembled. Running was impossible. Screaming would only bring questions she couldn't answer. Derek would be home in a few hours. But her knees buckled. She sank down onto the dusty concrete floor of the shed, looking up at him with wide, frightened eyes.
Mark's smirk widened. "That's a good girl. Knew you had it in you."
He unbuckled his belt, the metal clink loud in the quiet shed. He unzipped his jeans, pulled himself free. His cock sprang out, thick and hard, already glistening at the tip. Megan's mouth went dry. It was bigger than she remembered, dark veined, intimidating. The head was swollen, flushed, leaking a clear bead of precum that caught the dim light from the shed's single bulb.
"Open up."
She shook her head weakly, but her lips parted. Mark grabbed a fistful of her auburn hair, yanked her head back. "I said open up."
He pressed the head against her lips, rubbed it across her lower lip, left a wet smear. Then he shoved himself into her mouth.
Megan gagged, tears springing to her eyes. He was too big, too much. The thickness of him stretched her jaw wide, filled her mouth until she couldn't breathe. But Mark held her there, let her adjust, let her choke on the sheer size of him. His hips stayed still, giving her time to breathe through her nose, to relax her throat.
"That's it," he growled. "Take it. Take all of it."
He began to move, slow at first, shallow thrusts that let her get used to the invasion. Megan's hands came up, gripping his thighs for balance. She should push him away. She should bite down. But instead, she found herself sucking, hollowing her cheeks, trying to please him. Her tongue swirled around the head, tasted the salt of him, the bitter tang of his precum.
Mark groaned, his head falling back. "Fuck, yeah. That's it. You got a talented mouth, girl. Bet Derek's prick is half this size. Bet he don't even know how to use it."
Megan whimpered around his cock. The vibration of her voice ran through him, and he shuddered. She hated how much his words turned her on. Her cunt was soaking through her panties, a warm wetness spreading between her thighs. She hated even more that she was bobbing her head now, taking him deeper, wanting to make him proud.
"That's right. Show me what you can do. Show me why you're too good for that little boy." Mark's grip in her hair tightened, guiding her rhythm. "Faster. Take it deeper."
She obeyed. Her nose pressed against his pubic bone, the coarse hair tickling her face. She gagged, swallowed, kept going. Saliva dripped down her chin, slicked his shaft. She was a mess, but she didn't stop. The taste of him, the smell of him, the feel of his powerful body above her, it was intoxicating.
Mark's hand slid from her hair to the back of her neck, holding her steady as he began to thrust harder. His hips pumped faster, fucking her mouth with a rhythm that left her no choice but to take it. She gripped his thighs tighter, her nails digging into the denim, tears streaming down her cheeks as her throat opened for him.
"Look at me," he commanded. "Look at me while I fuck your face."
Megan raised her eyes, met his gaze. His eyes were dark, hungry, possessive. She felt something clench in her belly, a hot wave of shame and desire that made her moan around his cock.
"That's it. You like this. You like being used by a real man." Mark's thumb wiped a tear from her cheek, almost tender. "Derek ever make you cry? Ever make you feel this much?"
She couldn't answer. Her mouth was too full. But her eyes told him everything.
Mark's breathing grew ragged, his thrusts more urgent. "Gonna cum, girl. You want it, don't you? You want me to fill your mouth."
Megan looked up at him, eyes watering, and nodded as best she could with her lips stretched around his shaft.
"Then swallow. Don't you waste a drop."
He pulled almost all the way out, let her take a breath, then shoved deep. His cock pulsed against her tongue, and he came with a guttural roar, hot and thick, shooting down her throat. Megan swallowed convulsively, the first spurt hitting the back of her throat, then another, then another. She took it all, not letting any escape, her throat working around him. She kept sucking until he was soft, until he pulled out with a wet pop and a satisfied groan.
She stayed on her knees, gasping, trembling. Her chin was wet with spit and cum. Her knees ached from the concrete. Her jaw was sore.
Mark tucked himself away, then reached down and hauled her to her feet. He spun her around, bent her over the washing machine, and slapped her ass hard. The crack echoed in the small space. She gasped, her hands gripping the edge of the machine.
"That's my girl now," he said, his voice possessive. "You remember that. When Derek touches you, you think of me. When he fucks you, you wish it was me. Because it will be. From now on, it's always gonna be me."
He slapped her ass again, lighter this time, almost a caress. Then he left her there, bent over the machine, ass stinging, mouth sore, and cunt dripping. Megan stayed like that for a long moment, tears streaming down her face, but a sick, shameful smile curling her lips.
She was his. She knew it now.
Derek came home that evening to find Megan in the kitchen, making dinner. She seemed distracted, quiet. He tried to kiss her, and she flinched.
"What's wrong?" he asked.
"Nothing. Just tired." She wouldn't meet his eyes.
Derek felt a cold knot form in his stomach. He'd been noticing things. The way Mark looked at her. The way she avoided being alone with him. The way she sometimes smelled different, like sawdust and sweat. Like her father.
He told himself he was being paranoid. He told himself to trust her.
But that night, when he heard the back door creak, he got up. He crept to the window, looked out at the porch. And there she was, kneeling between Mark's legs, her head bobbing in the moonlight.
Derek's blood turned to ice. He should go out there. He should stop this. He should fight for her.
But his feet wouldn't move. His hands shook. He watched for a full minute, two, three, until Mark looked up, directly at the window, and smiled.
Mark knew he was watching.
And Derek did nothing.
He crept back to bed, pulled the covers over his head, and pretended to sleep. When Megan came back, smelling of Mark's cum, he said nothing. He just rolled over, and let her curl against him, and hated himself for being too weak to stop it.
The breaking point had come. And Derek had broken.
Stolen Nights
The house settled into its nightly silence, the creaks and groans of old wood becoming a familiar lullaby. Megan lay beside Derek, her body still, her mind racing. His breathing had evened out long ago, soft and regular, the rhythm of someone who slept without guilt. She envied him that. Her own nights were restless, filled with heat and memory and the electric pull of the porch.
He'd been distant all week, blaming the internship and the pressure that came with it. She'd nodded along, let him kiss her cheek, let him roll over and sleep. It was easier that way. Easier to let him believe the lie. She told herself it was kindness, not cowardice. But she knew the truth. She needed Mark's hands on her body the way she needed air in her lungs.
She waited until the house was deep in sleep, the same ritual every night now. Her body knew it, waking her like an alarm. She slipped out of bed, her feet finding the cold floor, her thin nightgown clinging to her curves. Derek didn't stir. She paused at the door, looking back at him, a flicker of guilt. Then she opened the door and stepped into the hall.
The house was dark, familiar. She moved through it like a ghost, her hand trailing along the wall, her heart hammering in her chest. The back door was unlocked, waiting for her. She stepped out into the warm night air, and there he was.
Mark stood against the porch railing, a beer in his hand, his eyes finding her immediately. He wore only a pair of shorts, his broad chest bare, the dark hair on his body catching the moonlight. He didn't smile. He just watched her come to him, her steps quick and eager.
"Couldn't sleep, girl?" His voice was a low rumble, familiar now, a sound that made her knees weak.
"I waited," she whispered. "I always wait."
"I know you do." He set the beer down and reached for her, his hand rough on her waist, pulling her against him. The heat of him soaked through her thin nightgown. "You been thinking about it all day?"
"Yes." No hesitation. The word came out breathy, honest.
"Tell me."
"I been thinking about your hands. Your mouth. The way you talk to me." She pressed closer, her nipples hard against his chest. "I been thinking about what it'll feel like when you finally..." She couldn't finish.
"When I finally fuck you proper?" He grinned, teeth white in the dark. "Is that what you want, Megan? You want my cock inside you?"
"Yes." The word was a moan, a prayer.
He didn't rush. He turned her, pressed her against the porch railing, the wood cold against her stomach. His body covered hers, big and hot. He pulled her nightgown up, baring her ass to the night air. She heard him undo his belt, the rasp of his zipper. The sound made her wetter than she already was.
"You sure about this, girl?" His voice was rough, but there was a question in it. A final chance to back out.
"I'm sure." She was. She'd never been more sure of anything.
The first push was slow, deliberate. The head of him pressed against her, slick and thick. She gasped, her fingers gripping the railing. He didn't stop. He pushed forward, inch by inch, stretching her, filling her in a way that made her see stars.
"Oh god," she breathed.
"That's it. Take it." His voice was strained. "Take all of it."
When he was fully seated, he paused, letting her adjust. She could feel him inside her, deep, impossibly deep. Her body trembled around him, clenching, welcoming. The fullness was overwhelming, a completion she hadn't known she was missing.
"You feel that?" he growled. "You feel how you fit me?"
"Yes." The word was a sob.
He began to move, slow at first, a rhythm that built heat in her belly. The porch creaked beneath them, the only sound besides their breathing and the wet slide of their bodies. He kept one hand on her hip, the other sliding up her stomach to cup her breast, pinching her nipple through the fabric of her nightgown.
"Look at you," he murmured. "Takin' it so good. Bet my boy never made you feel like this."
"No," she gasped. "Never."
"That's right. This is what a real man feels like." He thrust deeper, harder, the rhythm quickening. "This is what you needed."
She couldn't answer. The pressure was building, a coil tightening in her core. Her moans became higher, more desperate. He reached around, his fingers finding her clit, rubbing in rough circles.
"Come for me, girl. Let me feel you."
She shattered, her body convulsing around him, her cry muffled against her own arm. He kept thrusting, riding out her orgasm, then pulled back and thrust again, chasing his own. She was oversensitive, trembling, but she didn't want him to stop.
He drove into her, harder now, his grip on her hips bruising. "Gonna fill you up, Megan. Gonna pump you full of my seed."
"Yes," she moaned. "Yes, please."
He groaned, a deep animal sound, and she felt him pulse inside her, hot and thick, flooding her. He kept moving, slow now, milking every drop. When he finally stilled, they both stood there, panting, connected.
He pulled out, and she felt his seed leaking down her thigh. He turned her around, kissed her hard, his hand between her legs, pushing it back inside her. "Don't waste a drop," he said.
She nodded, dizzy, her legs weak. He helped her to the porch swing, sat her down, and knelt in front of her. He spread her legs, looking at his work, his cum glistening on her thighs. Then he lowered his head and licked her clean, his tongue slow and thorough.
She fell asleep in his arms that night, on the porch, the stars wheeling overhead. He carried her back to her room before dawn, laying her beside Derek, who never stirred. She woke with the taste of Mark on her lips and the ache of him between her legs.
The pattern repeated, night after night. Each encounter was different, shaped by mood and circumstance. Some nights he was gentle, almost tender, whispering dirty things in her ear as he moved inside her. Other nights he was rough, taking her against the railing, her body bent, his hands hard on her hips.
She learned his body the way he learned hers. She knew the sounds he made, the way his breathing changed when he was close. She knew the taste of his skin, the weight of his cock in her mouth, the feel of his hands in her hair. She craved it all, the good and the rough, the sweet and the dirty.
On the second night, she initiated. She turned to face him, wrapped her legs around his waist, and rode him on the porch swing. He watched her, amused, letting her set the pace. She was clumsy at first, but he guided her, his hands on her hips, showing her how to move.
"That's it, girl. Take what you need."
She did. She came hard, grinding against him, and he followed, filling her again. She collapsed against his chest, spent, happy.
On the third night, he bent her over the porch railing and took her from behind, his hand in her hair, pulling her head back. He fucked her hard and fast, and she loved every second of it. She came twice before he did, her body shaking, her voice hoarse from moaning.
Each night, he came inside her. No protection, no pretense. It was a claim, a brand, and she welcomed it. She thought about the risk, the possibility of pregnancy, and it only made her wetter. She wanted his mark on her, inside her, permanent.
Derek grew more distant, as if he sensed something but couldn't name it. He talked about his internship, the pressure, the long hours. She listened and nodded and felt nothing. He kissed her goodnight, and she felt nothing. She waited for him to fall asleep, and then she went to Mark.
On the fourth night, they got careless. Or maybe she wanted to be caught. The door to the house creaked open, and Derek's voice called out, "Megan?"
They froze. Mark was still inside her, his hand over her mouth. She could feel his heart pounding against her back. The light from the kitchen spilled onto the porch, and she saw Derek's silhouette in the doorway.
"Megan, you out here?"
She didn't answer. Couldn't. Mark's hand was firm over her lips, his cock still buried in her. The thrill of it, the terror and the heat, made her clench around him.
Derek stood there for a long moment, then shrugged, muttered something about the heat, and went back inside. The door clicked shut.
Mark let out a breath. "That was close."
"I know." She was shaking. "I don't care."
He fucked her harder after that, faster, as if the near miss had sharpened his hunger. She came again, biting his hand to keep from screaming.
Afterward, she lay beside him on the porch swing, her head on his chest, listening to his heartbeat. The risk was part of the thrill now, the danger adding spice to an already addictive brew. She knew it couldn't last. Summer would end. But she didn't want to think about that.
She wanted to think about the next time he'd take her. The next time he'd fill her. The next time she'd feel that rush of being completely, utterly claimed.
She slipped back into bed just before dawn, her body still humming. Derek turned in his sleep, his arm draping over her waist. She lay still, staring at the ceiling, feeling Mark's seed wet between her thighs. She didn't move to clean it up. She wanted to keep it, a secret brand.
"I love you," Derek mumbled, half asleep.
"I know," she whispered. And she did love him. But it wasn't the same. It wasn't enough. She closed her eyes and dreamed of the porch.
The next night, she didn't wait. The clock hadn't even struck midnight when she slipped out of bed. Derek stirred, murmured something, but she was already gone. She found Mark in the garage, working on a project, his body slick with sweat. She didn't say a word. She just dropped to her knees and took him in her mouth.
He groaned, his hand in her hair. "Eager tonight, aren't we?"
She looked up at him, her lips around his cock, her eyes wide and innocent. She swallowed him whole, and he let her, his hips thrusting gently into her mouth. When he was hard, he pulled her up, bent her over the workbench, and took her there, the wood cold against her palms, the smell of sawdust and sweat in her nose.
He filled her again, and she felt complete.
Each night blurred into the next. She lost count of how many times he took her, how many times she came on his cock. The porch became their sanctuary, their secret world. She lived for those hours, the rest of her day just waiting for night to fall.
Derek noticed something. He wasn't stupid. But he was too weak to confront it, too afraid to lose her. He held her tighter, kissed her longer, but she was already gone. She was Mark's, body and soul.
The last night of the chapter, she snuck out as usual. Mark was waiting. He took her on the porch, slow and deep, looking into her eyes. She came apart for him, crying his name. He held her, stroked her hair, and whispered, "You're mine, girl. Don't forget it."
She didn't. She couldn't. She was his.
She went back to her room, to Derek's sleeping form, and lay down in the wet spot she'd made. She fell asleep with a smile on her lips, dreaming of the next stolen night.
The Confrontation
Derek lay in the dark, his eyes wide open. The ceiling fan spun above him, doing nothing to cool the sweat on his skin. He had been lying still for what felt like hours, but sleep wouldn't come. Every time he closed his eyes, he saw things he didn't want to see. He heard things he didn't want to hear.
A soft sound drifted through the open window. A moan. It was faint, barely there, but it cut through the silence like a knife. Derek's stomach clenched. He knew that sound. He had been hearing it for weeks now, always denying it, always telling himself he was imagining things.
He couldn't imagine it anymore.
He got out of bed, his feet padding silently across the cold hardwood floor. The hallway was dark. The house was still. He moved toward the back of the house, toward the porch, his heart hammering against his ribs.
The back door was open a crack. Through the gap, he saw them.
Mark had Megan bent over the porch railing. Her sundress was bunched around her waist, exposing her bare ass. Mark stood behind her, his jeans around his ankles, his hips driving into her with a steady, brutal rhythm. The sound was wet and rhythmic, a slapping of skin against skin.
Derek's breath caught in his throat. He wanted to scream. He wanted to run. But he was frozen, his feet rooted to the floor. He could only watch.
Megan's head was thrown back. Her eyes were closed. Her mouth was open, and she was moaning, not the polite little sounds she made when she and Derek were together, but deep, guttural cries of pleasure. Mark's hand was tangled in her hair, pulling her head back. His other hand gripped her hip, guiding her onto his cock.
"Fuck, yeah," Mark grunted. "Take it, girl. Take all of it."
Derek felt a wave of nausea. This was real. This was actually happening. His girlfriend, his sweet Megan, was being fucked by his father.
Then Mark's eyes snapped open. They found Derek in the darkness. A slow, cruel smile spread across his weathered face. He didn't stop fucking her. He just watched Derek watch.
"Look who decided to join us," Mark said, his voice a low, gravelly growl. "Come on out, boy. Don't be shy."
Megan's eyes flew open. She looked at Derek, and her face flushed with shame. But she didn't try to cover herself. She didn't try to stop. She just stared at him, her lips parted, her breath coming in ragged gasps.
Derek stepped onto the porch. The cool night air did nothing to cool the heat in his cheeks. He felt like he was going to be sick. His hands were shaking. His whole body was trembling.
"Get a good look," Mark said, his pace increasing. "This is what a real man does. This is how you please a woman."
Mark's cock slid in and out of Megan's wet cunt. Derek could see it clearly now, thick and long, glistening with her juices. It was so much bigger than his own. So much more.
"You hear that, boy?" Mark said, his voice harsh. "You ever make her sound like that?"
Derek's mouth was dry. His tongue felt like sandpaper. "No," he whispered.
"What was that?" Mark said, slamming into Megan harder. "I didn't hear you."
"No," Derek said, louder. The word tasted like ash in his mouth.
Mark laughed. It was a dark, ugly sound. "I didn't think so. You know why? Because you're weak. You've always been weak. Just like your mother."
Derek flinched. The words cut deep, deeper than any physical blow.
Mark pulled out of Megan. A thick strand of his seed dripped from her thigh, glistening in the moonlight. He turned her around and pushed her to her knees in front of Derek.
"Show him," Mark commanded. "Show him what a real man gets."
Megan looked up at Derek. Her eyes were full of apology, but also a dark hunger he had never seen before. She leaned forward and took Mark's cock in her mouth. It was still slick with her own juices. She moaned around it, her eyes never leaving Derek's.
Derek watched his girlfriend, the sweet girl he loved, worship his father's cock. Her tongue swirled around the head, lapping at the thick ridge. She took it deep into her throat, her cheeks hollowing as she sucked. Her hands cupped Mark's balls, massaging them gently while her lips worked up and down the shaft.
It was the most degrading thing he had ever seen. And it was the most arousing. His own cock was painfully hard in his pajama pants. He hated himself for it. He hated the way his body responded to the scene in front of him.
Mark's hand was on the back of Megan's head, guiding her rhythm. "You see this, Derek? This is what I've been teaching her. She's a natural. Isn't that right, girl?"
Megan pulled off with a wet pop. A string of saliva connected her lips to the tip of Mark's cock. "Yes, Mr. Mark," she said, her voice hoarse and breathy. "He's taught me so much."
Derek felt the world spin around him. He reached out and grabbed the porch railing to steady himself.
"Now, I want you to tell my boy something," Mark said, his voice dropping to a menacing whisper. "Tell him who you belong to."
Megan looked at Derek. Her face was a mixture of shame and defiance. "I belong to Mark," she said.
The words hit Derek like a physical blow. He staggered back, his grip on the railing tightening.
"Say it again," Mark said, his hand tightening in Megan's hair.
"I belong to Mark," Megan said, louder this time. There was no hesitation in her voice now. No shame. Just certainty.
Mark laughed. He pulled Megan to her feet and bent her over the railing again. "One more lesson for you, boy. Watch close."
He entered her in one smooth motion. Megan gasped, her body arching. Mark began to fuck her hard and fast. The sound of his hips slapping against her ass filled the night, punctuated by Megan's cries of pleasure.
Derek watched. He couldn't look away. He watched his girlfriend being claimed, being owned, being taken right in front of him. He watched her ass jiggle with each thrust. He watched her fingers grip the railing. He watched her face contort with ecstasy.
Mark's breathing became ragged. "I'm going to come," he grunted. "I'm going to fill this little cunt up."
"Yes," Megan begged. "Please, Mark. Fill me. Fill me up."
Mark drove into her one last time, his body shuddering. He held himself deep inside her for a long moment, his hips pressed against her ass. Then he pulled out. His seed dripped from Megan's quivering hole, running down her thigh.
He grabbed Derek by the back of the neck and forced him to his knees. "Clean her up," he said. "Lick it all up. That's what a good boy does."
Derek looked at the mess between Megan's thighs. He looked at her face. She was watching him, her eyes wide, her lips parted. There was a hunger there, a need.
He leaned forward. His tongue touched her skin. The taste was bitter and salty, a mix of his father's seed and Megan's juices. He licked it up, his tongue tracing the inside of her thigh. He felt her shiver.
"Good boy," Mark said, his voice dripping with contempt. "Lesson learned."
Derek stayed on his knees, his face buried between Megan's legs, licking and licking. He heard Mark's footsteps retreating. He heard the door close. He was alone with Megan on the porch.
She reached down and stroked his hair. "I'm sorry, Derek," she whispered. "But you're just not enough."
He didn't answer. He couldn't. He just kept licking, a broken boy on his knees, learning his place in the world.
When he finally looked up, Megan was staring at the door Mark had disappeared through. Her hand was between her own legs, touching herself. She was still hungry. She was still wanting more.
And Derek knew, with a certainty that crushed what was left of his soul, that he would never be the one to satisfy her again.
He got to his feet and walked back into the house. His legs felt like lead. His heart was a cold stone in his chest. He passed Mark's room and heard the sounds of his father and his girlfriend, the creaking of the bed, the moans, the grunts.
He went to his own room and closed the door. He lay down on his bed and stared at the ceiling. The fan spun above him. The sounds drifted through the wall.
He didn't sleep. He just listened. And he learned.
The lesson was complete.
Total Surrender
The last Friday of August arrived with a stillness that felt like a held breath. Derek stood in the bedroom of the farmhouse, folding his clothes into a duffel bag on the bed. The same bed where Megan used to curl against him on Sunday mornings, her cold feet pressed to his calves. The same bed where, three weeks ago, she'd lain with her legs spread while Mark took her from behind, her eyes locked on Derek as he stood in the doorway, unable to move, unable to speak.
He folded a t-shirt. Then another. His hands moved mechanically while his mind drifted through the wreckage of the summer.
He remembered the first week, when everything still felt possible. Megan's laughter on the porch, her sunburned shoulders, the way she'd pulled him into the bedroom one afternoon while Mark's crew worked on the barn roof. She'd been wet and eager and his. That felt like a story someone else had lived.
By mid-June, things had shifted. Mark's presence grew heavier in the house, his authority expanding like water finding cracks. First it was the shed. Then the porch. Then the bedroom. Each boundary Derek failed to enforce became a door that wouldn't close again.
He zipped the duffel halfway and sat on the edge of the mattress. The springs creaked. Downstairs, he could hear Megan's voice, light and warm, followed by Mark's low rumble. A pause. Then Megan's laugh, the kind she used to save for Derek alone.
His throat tightened.
He'd had chances. That was the worst part. The night he'd found them on the porch, he could have walked out and confronted them. Could have shoved Mark off her and dragged her inside and said this ends now. Instead, he'd stood in the dark, watching, his pulse hammering in his ears, his cock betraying him even as his stomach turned. He'd told himself he was being patient. Strategic. That he'd handle it in the morning.
But mornings kept coming, and he kept finding reasons to wait.
The floorboards groaned under heavy footsteps. Derek looked up as Mark appeared in the doorway, filling it with his shoulders, his work boots leaving traces of barn dust on the hardwood Megan cleaned every Tuesday.
"Almost done?" Mark asked. Not unfriendly. The tone of a man checking on a task he'd assigned.
"Almost," Derek said.
Mark nodded. He leaned against the doorframe, arms crossed over his chest. The forearms were tanned and corded with vein and sinew. Derek had watched those arms hold Megan down. Had watched them pull her onto Mark's lap. Had watched them flex as Mark fucked her with a steady, patient rhythm that made her forget Derek's name.
"She wants to talk to you," Mark said. "Downstairs. When you're ready."
"Okay."
Mark didn't move right away. He looked at the duffel bag, at the half-empty dresser drawers. Something shifted in his expression. Not sympathy, exactly. Recognition, maybe. The acknowledgment of a man who understood what it felt like to lose something and had decided long ago that he wouldn't be the one losing.
"Take your time," Mark said, and then he was gone, his boots heavy on the stairs.
Derek sat for another minute. Two. Then he stood, washed his hands in the bathroom sink, and went downstairs.
Megan was at the kitchen table with a mug of tea. Her hair was different than it had been in June. Longer, lighter from the sun. She wore one of Mark's flannel shirts over a tank top, the sleeves rolled to her elbows. She looked comfortable. She looked like she belonged to someone else's life.
"Hey," she said.
Derek pulled out a chair across from her. "Hey."
For a moment, neither spoke. The refrigerator hummed. Outside, a bird called from the oak tree by the driveway. The ordinary sounds of a summer house at its end.
"I need to tell you something," Megan said. She wrapped both hands around the mug. Her nails were short and unpainted. Derek remembered painting them for her once, in May, before they'd driven up. She'd laughed at his clumsiness and kissed the polish wet onto his lips.
"I know," he said.
"I'm staying." She said it simply, without ceremony. "I'm not coming back to the city with you. I'm staying here with Mark."
Derek nodded. He'd known. Of course he'd known. The duffel bag upstairs had been packed for one.
"Since when?" he asked.
Megan looked at her tea. "I think since the shed. Maybe before. I don't know if there was a moment. It just became true."
"The shed." Derek's voice was flat. "That was early July."
"Yeah."
"So for almost two months, you've known."
"I didn't want to hurt you." She met his eyes. "I kept hoping it would feel different. That I'd want to go back. But every time Mark touched me, every time he looked at me like I was his, it just got clearer. I'm sorry, Derek."
He wanted to be angry. He searched for it, that hot fury that should have been burning in his chest. But all he found was a tired ache and the faint, shameful memory of watching her face the night Mark had made her come on the porch. The way her mouth had opened. The way she'd said Mark's name like a prayer.
"Does he treat you well?" Derek asked.
Megan's expression softened. "He does. He's not what I expected. He's patient. He's honest. He doesn't play games."
"Okay."
"Okay? That's it?"
"What do you want me to say, Megan? I watched it happen. I was there for all of it. I knew where it was going." He rubbed his face with both hands. "I'm not angry. I'm tired. I just want to go home."
Megan reached across the table and touched his wrist. "You're a good person, Derek. I mean that."
He pulled his hand away, gently. "Don't."
She nodded and withdrew.
The screen door opened and Mark stepped back inside. He'd been on the porch, giving them space. Derek felt a grudging flicker of gratitude, which he immediately hated himself for.
Mark looked at Megan, then at Derek. "Everything said?"
"Everything's said," Megan answered.
Mark pulled out a chair and sat at the head of the table. The position was natural, unconscious. He didn't even realize he was doing it, Derek thought. He just assumed the seat of authority wherever he went.
"There's one more thing," Mark said. He looked at Derek. "Megan told me about the nights you watched. On the porch. In the bedroom."
Derek's face went hot. "What about it?"
"I'm not bringing it up to shame you. But I think there's something you haven't finished."
Derek stared at him. "What are you talking about?"
"You know what I'm talking about." Mark's voice was calm, steady. The voice of a man who'd spent years managing crews and reading men. "You've been watching from the outside. You've been a spectator in your own story. I think before you leave, you need to understand what it is you've been watching."
"Mark," Megan said, a warning in her tone.
Mark held up a hand. "Not like that. I'm saying this because I think he needs it. And I think you do too."
Derek looked between them. "What do you want?"
Mark leaned forward, elbows on the table. "Tonight. One more time. But you're not watching from the doorway. You're in the room. You're part of it. Not as her boyfriend. That's over. But as someone who needs to see what surrender looks like from the inside."
The kitchen went quiet. Derek's heart beat in his ears. He should say no. He should pick up his bag and walk out and drive home and never think about this farmhouse again.
"When?" he heard himself ask.
"After dinner," Mark said. "Megan, go take a shower. Take your time."
Megan stood. She paused beside Derek's chair, her hand hovering near his shoulder. She didn't touch him. Then she walked upstairs, and they listened to the bathroom door close and the water start.
Mark looked at Derek. "You're not doing this because I'm telling you to. You're doing it because you need to know."
Derek swallowed. "Know what?"
"What it feels like to stop pretending."
Dinner was quiet. Mark grilled chicken on the back porch, and they ate at the picnic table as the sun went down. Megan sat beside Mark, her thigh pressed to his. Derek sat across from them, working through his plate without tasting it. The sky turned orange and purple. Fireflies started up in the tall grass by the fence.
After they cleared the plates, Mark told Derek to go upstairs and wait in the bedroom.
Derek went. He stood by the window, looking out at the darkening fields, the barn silhouetted against the last light. He heard Megan come up, heard her move around in the bathroom. Heard Mark's boots on the stairs.
The bedroom door opened. Mark entered first, wearing a white undershirt and jeans. Megan followed. She'd showered and changed into a thin cotton dress that Derek had always loved, pale blue, hemmed above her knees. Her hair was damp.
Mark closed the door behind them. The sound was soft but final.
"Derek," Mark said. "Sit on the chair."
There was a wooden armchair by the dresser. Derek sat. His palms were damp.
Mark turned to Megan. He didn't speak. He simply looked at her, and she understood. She crossed the room and stood in front of him, tilting her face up. Mark cupped her jaw with one broad hand and kissed her. It was slow, deliberate. His other hand found the small of her back and pulled her against him.
Derek watched. He'd seen them kiss before, but never this close, never with this kind of patience. Mark's mouth moved on Megan's like he was learning her. Megan's hands came up to his chest, fingers curling into the fabric of his undershirt.
When they broke apart, Megan was flushed. Mark's thumb traced her lower lip.
"Tell him," Mark said.
Megan turned to Derek. Her eyes were bright, soft. "I want you to see this. I want you to understand."
"Understand what?" Derek's voice cracked.
"Why I chose him." She looked back at Mark. "Why I'll always choose him."
Mark's mouth curved. Not a smirk. Something warmer. He lifted the hem of Megan's dress and drew it over her head. She wore nothing underneath. Her body was golden from the summer, her nipples tightened in the cool air of the bedroom. Mark stepped back and looked at her the way a man looks at something he's earned.
"Beautiful," he said. "Every time."
Megan smiled. The smile was for Mark, but it didn't exclude Derek. It held him in it, a kind of compassion wrapped in cruelty.
Mark unbuttoned his jeans and pushed them down. His cock was already thick, hanging heavy between his thighs. He stroked himself once, slowly, and Megan's eyes followed the movement.
"On the bed," Mark told her. "On your back."
Megan climbed onto the mattress and lay back, her hair fanning across the pillow. Her knees were together, shy, then parted as Mark approached.
Mark knelt on the bed and ran his hands up Megan's thighs. He bent and kissed the inside of her knee, then higher, then the crease of her hip. Megan's breath caught. He hadn't touched her yet where she wanted, and Derek could see the glistening evidence of her arousal between her legs.
"Mark, please," Megan whispered.
"Tell me what you want."
"Your mouth."
Mark lowered his head. Derek watched the moment his tongue found her, watched Megan's back arch off the mattress, watched her fingers twist in the sheets. Mark worked her slowly, his mouth sealed against her, his jaw moving in a rhythm Derek recognized from the sounds he'd heard through walls and doors and darkness.
Megan's moans filled the room. She was louder than Derek had ever heard her. More uninhibited. She rocked her hips against Mark's face, and Mark held her thighs open with both hands, his grip firm.
"Oh God," Megan said. "Don't stop. Right there. Right there."
Mark didn't stop. He adjusted his angle and Megan's sounds climbed higher, sharper. Derek saw her thighs begin to tremble. She was close. Mark must have sensed it too, because he pulled back.
Megan made a sound of frustration. "No. I was almost."
"I know," Mark said. He wiped his mouth with the back of his hand. "But I want Derek to see this part."
He positioned himself between her legs. His cock was fully hard now, thick and flushed. He stroked it twice, then guided the head to Megan's entrance.
"Look at me," Mark told Megan.
Megan's eyes locked on his. Mark pushed forward, sinking into her inch by inch. Megan's mouth opened. Her hands gripped his forearms. Derek watched her body accept Mark, watched the way she stretched around him, watched the flush spread down her chest.
Mark bottomed out and held still. "Whose are you?"
"Yours," Megan breathed. "I'm yours."
Mark began to move. Long, deep strokes. Each thrust pressed Megan into the mattress. She wrapped her legs around his waist and pulled him closer, deeper. The wet sounds of their joining were obscene in the quiet room.
Derek sat in the chair, his hands gripping the armrests. He was hard. He hated himself for it, but he was hard. He could feel his pulse in his throat, in his cock, everywhere.
Mark fucked Megan with a patience that seemed impossible. He didn't rush. He didn't change pace. He maintained the same steady rhythm, driving into her while she gasped and writhed beneath him.
"Derek," Megan said suddenly. Her eyes found him across the room. "Come here."
Derek looked at Mark. Mark nodded once.
Derek stood on legs that felt unsteady. He crossed the room and stopped at the edge of the bed.
"Touch me," Megan said. She reached for his hand and placed it on her breast. Her skin was hot, damp with sweat. Her nipple was hard against his palm. Above her, Mark continued to fuck her, his thrusts pushing her body in small waves against the mattress.
"Kiss me," Megan said.
Derek bent and kissed her. Her mouth was warm and open and tasted like the tea she'd drunk at dinner. She moaned into his kiss as Mark drove deeper.
When Derek pulled back, Mark was watching him. The foreman's eyes were dark, focused. He didn't stop moving.
"Down," Mark said. "Lick her while I'm inside her."
Derek hesitated. The instruction was clear, but his body locked up.
"Do it," Megan said. "I want it. Please."
Derek knelt on the floor beside the bed. He could see Mark's cock sliding in and out of Megan, see the slick coating Mark's shaft, see the swollen bud of her clit at the top of her folds. He leaned in and pressed his tongue to her.
The taste was overwhelming. Salt and musk and the sharp tang of Megan's arousal mixed with Mark's precum. Derek licked in long strokes, working around Mark's shaft where it entered her. Megan's hand found the back of his head and pressed him closer.
"Oh God," Megan moaned. "That's it. Don't stop. Both of you."
Mark adjusted his angle, lifting Megan's hips slightly, giving Derek better access. Derek licked faster, circling Megan's clit, then sucking it gently into his mouth. Megan's thighs clamped around his head and Mark's hips simultaneously. The three of them moved together in a strange, urgent rhythm.
Megan came first. Her whole body seized, her back arching, her thighs trembling violently. Derek felt it against his mouth, the spasms of her orgasm, the rush of wetness. He kept licking, gentler now, as she came down.
Mark pulled out. His cock was slick and twitching. He stroked himself twice, three times, and then came across Megan's stomach and chest in thick white ropes. The first pulse hit her ribs. The second landed on her breast. The third pooled in the hollow of her throat.
Megan lay still, breathing hard, her body painted with Mark's release. Mark knelt above her, his chest heaving.
"Derek," Mark said. His voice was rough. "Clean her up."
Derek understood. He climbed onto the bed and lowered his head to Megan's stomach. He licked Mark's cum from her skin, working methodically. The taste was bitter, strange, nothing like Megan. He licked her ribs, her breast, the hollow of her throat. Megan's fingers moved through his hair, gentle, almost tender.
When he finished, Mark lay down beside Megan and pulled her against him. She fit into the curve of his body like she'd been made for it.
Derek sat back on his heels. His cock was still hard. No one had touched him. No one was going to.
"Thank you," Megan said softly. She looked at Derek with something that wasn't quite love and wasn't quite pity. Something in between.
Mark's arm tightened around Megan. "You should go," he said. Not cruel. Just factual. "Long drive."
Derek nodded. He climbed off the bed and walked to the door. He looked back once. Megan was tucked against Mark, her eyes half-closed. Mark's hand rested on her hip, possessive and easy.
Derek went downstairs and picked up his duffel bag. He walked out the front door, crossed the yard to his car, and threw the bag in the backseat. The engine started on the second try. He pulled out of the gravel driveway and didn't look back in the mirror.
The road unspooled in his headlights. The fields were dark on either side. Somewhere behind him, in a farmhouse bedroom, Megan was falling asleep in Mark's arms.
Derek drove. The miles added up. His cock softened and his hands stopped shaking and the ache in his chest settled into something dull and permanent.
He'd left his copy of the key on the kitchen table. He wouldn't need it again.
The summer was over.
