The Data Review
The third floor of Henderson Hall fell silent after the last class let out. Professor Gerner Harken sat behind his desk in the dim glow of a single lamp, the manila folder open before him. He turned pages slowly, methodically, reading each line of Tracy Basker's research proposal. The data tables were clean. Too clean. He had suspected it for weeks, and now the proof sat in his hands.
His office smelled of old paper and furniture polish. A clock ticked on the wall. He closed the folder and leaned back in his chair, fingers laced over his stomach. He waited.
Footsteps in the hallway. A pause at his door. A knock.
"Come in, Miss Basker."
She entered like a caught animal, shoulders tight, eyes darting around the room before settling on him. Jeans and a campus hoodie covered her frame, her long brown hair pulled into a messy ponytail. She clutched her phone like a talisman.
"You said it was urgent, Professor."
He gestured to the chair across from his desk. She sat, perching on the edge of the cushion. He let the silence stretch.
"I've been reviewing your independent study data," he said. "The numbers on the regression analysis page specifically."
Her face went pale. "I can explain that."
"I'm sure you can." He opened the folder and traced a finger down the page. "The problem is that I've already cross-referenced your raw data with your final submission. There are discrepancies. Significant ones."
She stared at the folder like it might bite her. "Discrepancies how?"
"Your control group readings don't match your lab notebook entries. The variance is nonexistent in your final report. Statistically impossible." His gaze lifted to meet hers. "You fabricated the results, Miss Basker."
Her mouth opened. Closed. Opened again. "No. I mean, there might have been an error in transcription, but I didn't..."
He held up a hand and she fell silent.
"I have your original data sheets, your lab notebook, the timestamped files from your shared drive. I have everything." The folder closed with a soft sound. "This isn't a discussion. It's a finding."
She started shaking. Not visibly, but he could see it in the way her hands gripped her phone, the way her jaw tightened. "What are you going to do?"
"The standard procedure is to report this to the department chair and the academic integrity committee." He said it like he was reading from a manual. "They'll convene a hearing. Given the weight of the evidence, expulsion is the likely outcome. At minimum, a permanent notation on your transcript."
"Professor Harken, please. I didn't mean to. I was behind, and I panicked, and I just thought if I could make the data look right, I could fix it later. I was going to fix it. I swear I was."
He watched her crumble. Her voice cracked. Her eyes filled with tears she fought to hold back.
"Please. I can't get expelled. My scholarship. My family. They'll kill me. Please."
He let her plead for another minute. Then he spoke.
"I have an alternative."
She went quiet, hope flickering across her face.
"I keep your secret. You keep your grade. Your transcript stays clean. You graduate on time with everything you've earned." He paused. "In exchange, you give me what I want."
"What do you want?" Her voice was barely a whisper.
"Your body, Miss Basker. Your submission to my authority for as long as you're at this university."
She stared at him. The words hung in the air between them. She shook her head slowly. "I don't understand."
"I think you do." He leaned forward, elbows on the desk. "You come to me when I tell you. You do what I instruct. You don't question me. You don't resist. And you never tell a soul. In return, your academic record remains intact."
"That's insane." She stood up, backing toward the door. "I'm not going to do that. I'll take my chances with the committee."
He shrugged. "Your choice. But consider this carefully. The committee will see the evidence. They'll question your references. They'll call your previous professors. And when they find out about the other inconsistencies in your coursework, and I assure you they will, you won't just be expelled. You'll be blacklisted. No transfer school will touch you. No employer will look twice."
She stopped with her hand on the door handle.
"I'm not trying to ruin you, Tracy. I'm offering you a way out." He stood, walked around the desk, leaned against the front of it, arms crossed. "Think about what you're giving up. Your degree. Your future. All of it gone, because of one mistake."
"It's not a mistake if you're blackmailing me."
"It's a transaction." He smiled. "I keep your secret. You keep your future. And I get something I've wanted for a long time."
She turned to face him. Her eyes were red but dry now. "Why me?"
"Because you're here, and you're desperate, and you'll do exactly what I tell you to do. You hate that fact, but it's true." He nodded toward the chair. "Sit down, Miss Basker. Let's discuss the terms."
She didn't sit. She stayed by the door, one hand on the handle, ready to bolt. But she didn't open it.
"The terms are simple," he continued. "You come to my office three times a week. You follow my instructions. You don't speak of this to anyone. And I mean anyone. If I find out you've told a single soul, the deal is off and the committee gets a full report."
"Three times a week for what?"
"I'll decide that when we get there. For now, you'll come tomorrow evening at seven. We'll start with the basics."
She shook her head again. "I can't. I have practice. I'm on the soccer team."
"Cancel it. Or don't. But if you're not here at seven, I file the report." He said it without malice, like he was reminding her of a homework deadline.
She stared at him. The tears finally spilled over her cheeks. She wiped them away with the back of her hand.
"You're serious."
"I'm always serious, Tracy. That's why you're in this position and I'm not." He walked back around his desk and sat down. "You have until the end of this conversation to decide. Once you walk out that door, the offer expires."
She stood frozen. He watched her, patient, waiting. The clock ticked.
"What exactly would I have to do?" she asked, her voice small.
"Whatever I require. When I require it. You don't ask questions or negotiate. You simply obey." He opened a drawer and pulled out a form, sliding it across the desk. "This is a confidential agreement. It states that you're choosing to handle this matter privately. It doesn't mention the specifics of our arrangement. Sign it, and we begin."
She approached the desk like it was a bomb. She looked at the form, then at him.
"And if I don't sign?"
"Then you leave, I file the report, and you spend the next semester explaining to everyone why you're not in school anymore." He held out a pen. "This is your only chance."
She took the pen. Her hand trembled as she signed her name. She set the pen down and looked at him, hollow.
"Good." He folded the form and put it in his drawer. "Now go home. Get some rest. I'll see you tomorrow at seven."
She turned and walked out without another word. He listened to her footsteps fade down the hallway, then returned to his grading. The arrangement was in place. Everything else was just training.

First Condition
The hallway lights had dimmed to their night setting by the time Tracy reached the third floor. Most of the building had emptied hours ago. Her footsteps echoed off the linoleum as she walked past closed classroom doors, each one a silent witness to her slow approach.
Professor Harken's door was cracked open. A thin blade of yellow light cut across the floor tiles. She stopped in front of it, her hand hovering near the frame. Her heart beat hard against her ribs, a frantic drum she could feel in her throat.
She had spent the entire day replaying yesterday's conversation. Every word he had said. Every calm, measured threat. She had sat through her morning classes with her notes untouched, her mind stuck on the image of his desk, his hands folded on top of it, his voice so steady while he dismantled her future.
Now she was back. Just like he had told her to be.
Tracy pushed the door open.
Professor Harken sat at his desk, reading glasses perched low on his nose. A stack of papers sat to his right, a red pen resting on top of them. He looked up when she entered, his expression unchanged.
"Close the door," he said. "Lock it."
She did. The bolt slid into place with a soft click that felt louder than it should have.
He gestured to the floor beside his desk. "Come here."
Tracy walked around the visitor chairs and stopped in front of him. The space between them felt too small. She could smell his cologne, something clean and expensive. She kept her eyes on his tie clip instead of his face.
"Kneel," he said.
The word hung in the air. She felt her face flush, a hot wave of shame climbing up her neck. Her hands trembled at her sides.
"I'm sorry?" she said.
"You heard me, Tracy. Kneel."
She stared at the carpet. It was a dull gray, industrial grade, worn thin in places. She thought about getting up and walking out. She thought about what would happen if she did. The review board. The expulsion notice. Her parents' faces when they found out.
Her knees buckled.
The carpet was rough against her jeans. She settled onto her heels, her hands resting on her thighs. The position felt wrong. Humiliating. She kept her eyes down.
"Look at me," he said.
She raised her chin. His face was calm, almost bored. He studied her the way he might study a research sample, with detached interest and precise attention.
"Good," he said. "You're going to learn a few things tonight. The first is that when I give you an instruction, you follow it immediately. Hesitation won't be rewarded. Do you understand?"
"Yes," she said.
"Yes, Professor Harken."
She swallowed. "Yes, Professor Harken."
He leaned back in his chair. "The second thing is that you'll be quiet unless I tell you to speak. I have work to finish. You'll occupy yourself while I do."
She didn't understand. He reached down and unzipped his pants, pulling himself free with practiced efficiency. Her breath caught in her throat. He was already half hard, thick in his own hand, and he stroked himself once, twice, with a casualness that made her stomach twist.
"Under the desk," he said.
"No," she whispered.
"This isn't a negotiation, Tracy. Under the desk. Now."
Her body moved before her mind caught up. She crawled forward on her hands and knees, the carpet fibers scratching her palms. She ducked under the desk, the wood frame pressing against her shoulders. His knees bracketed her on either side. He adjusted his chair forward, and suddenly the space was smaller, tighter. She could feel the heat radiating off him.
He was right there. Inches from her face. She could smell him, clean skin and something muskier underneath. He was fully hard now, the shaft flushed dark, the head smooth and slick at the tip.
"I'll tell you when to stop," he said. "Start."
She didn't move. Her hands lay limp in her lap. She stared at him, at the dark hair at his base, at the way his breathing remained completely even.
"Tracy." His voice hardened. "I won't repeat myself."
She leaned forward. Her lips brushed against the head, tentative, barely a touch. He made no sound. She opened her mouth and took him in, just the tip at first, tasting salt and skin and something faintly bitter.
"More," he said.
She slid forward, taking him deeper. She tried to breathe through her nose, to control the gag reflex that tightened her throat. She moved her head forward, then back, a clumsy rhythm that felt wrong in every way. Her lips stretched around him, her jaw already aching from the width.
His hand settled on the back of her head. Not pushing. Just resting there, his fingers spread through her hair.
"Slower," he said. "You're rushing."
She adjusted her pace. She tried to relax, to find a rhythm that didn't feel like drowning. She pulled back to the head, swirled her tongue around it, and heard him inhale sharply. Then she took him deep again, feeling him hit the back of her throat. She suppressed the urge to gag, breathing slow through her nose.
His fingers tightened in her hair. "Use your tongue."
She did. She traced along the underside of his shaft, feeling the texture of him, the ridge where the head met the shaft. She flattened her tongue and dragged it up the length of him, then swirled it around the tip where pre-cum had gathered. He made a small sound, barely audible, and she felt a strange thrill at having produced it.
The stack of papers rustled above her. She heard the scratch of his pen. He was grading. He was grading while she knelt under his desk with her mouth full of him.
The humiliation burned through her chest. But underneath it, something else stirred. A warmth she didn't want to acknowledge. A pulse between her legs that grew with every small sound he made, every twitch of his hips.
She kept working. Her knees ached against the carpet. Her jaw screamed for relief. But she didn't stop. She couldn't. He had told her to keep going, and some part of her had already learned to obey.
She found a rhythm. Long strokes, her lips tight around him, her tongue working the sensitive underside. She'd pull back to the head, tease it with quick flicks, then take him deep again until she felt him press against her throat. Each time, it got a little easier. Each time, she felt him grow a little harder, a little thicker in her mouth.
His hand guided her now. Not forcing, but directing. He'd press her forward when he wanted more depth, pull her back when he wanted her to focus on the head. She followed his lead, letting him control the pace.
Minutes passed. She lost track of time. The only sounds were his pen on paper, the occasional shift of his chair, and the wet noises she couldn't help making. Her own arousal was a damp ache now, persistent and undeniable. She pressed her thighs together beneath the desk, seeking friction, and felt a wave of shame at her body's response.
His hand tightened in her hair. "Look at me."
She tilted her head back, his cock still in her mouth. His eyes were dark above her, his expression still controlled, but there was a tension in his jaw she hadn't seen before. A flush had crept up his neck.
"Don't stop," he said. "Don't slow down."
She kept going. Her throat relaxed, letting him deeper than before. She felt him pulse against her tongue, and she understood what was coming. She should have pulled back. She should have stopped. But he hadn't told her to stop, so she kept going, hollowing her cheeks and sucking harder.
He groaned, low and quiet, and his hips pressed forward as he held her in place. The first pulse hit the back of her throat and she swallowed quickly, instinctively. He came in long waves, hot and thick, and she swallowed each one, because she didn't know what else to do. Because he hadn't told her to stop.
She kept her mouth on him as he softened, licking him clean, until finally his hand loosened in her hair and he pulled her back by a fistful of it.
When he pulled back, she stayed where she was. Her mouth was numb. Her lips were swollen and sensitive. Her knees burned. She waited.
"Come out," he said.
She crawled out from under the desk. Her eyes were wet. She hadn't cried, but they burned anyway. She wiped her mouth with the back of her hand. Her jeans were damp between her legs, and she crossed her arms over her chest, hiding the way her nipples had hardened against her bra.
He was already zipping his pants, reaching for his pen again. He didn't look at her.
"Tomorrow," he said. "Same time."
"Professor Harken..."
He looked up. His eyes were flat, unreadable. "You agreed to the terms, Tracy. Every time you come back, you confirm them. Every time you kneel, you accept them. That's how this works."
She wanted to argue. She wanted to scream. But her voice had left her.
"Go home," he said. "Rest. You'll need it."
She turned and walked to the door. Her legs felt weak, disconnected from her body. She unlocked the bolt with shaking fingers.
"Tracy."
She stopped.
"You did well."
The words hit her like a slap. She didn't know why they made her chest ache. She didn't know why they made her want to cry. She didn't know why they sent a fresh pulse of heat through her core.
She left without answering.
The hallway stretched out before her, empty and silent. She walked to the stairs, her footsteps hollow in the dark. She made it to the first floor before she had to stop, leaning against the wall, pressing her forehead to the cool paint.
Her body was trembling. Her lips were raw and still tender. The taste of him lingered on her tongue. And somewhere deep inside her, a small voice whispered that she would be back tomorrow.
She already knew it was right.
Performance Standards
Tracy stood outside Harken's office, her hand hovering over the door handle. It had been days since the first session, days of sitting in lecture halls with the memory of his voice in her ear, of kneeling on his office carpet while he typed emails above her. She had avoided the building entirely, taking alternate routes across campus just to bypass this particular hallway. But the text had arrived that afternoon. Tonight. My office. Don't be late.
She had spent those intervening days trying to convince herself it hadn't happened. That she'd imagined the whole thing: the kneeling, the service, the quiet humiliation of it. But her knees still bore faint bruises from the carpet, and she caught herself scanning every crowd for his face, her heart lurching at the sight of any tall man in a button-down shirt.
Her afternoon class had been a disaster. She'd sat in the back row, staring at the board without seeing it, while the professor's voice dissolved into meaningless background noise. Her friend Maya had waved a hand in front of her face and asked if she was okay. Tracy had said yes, she was fine, just tired. The lie had tasted like ash.
Now she stood outside his door, and there was no more pretending.
She knocked.
"Enter."
The word was flat, familiar. She pushed the door open and stepped inside, closing it behind her without being told. The latch clicked into place and she stood with her back pressed to the wood, waiting.
Harken looked up from his laptop. He didn't smile. He didn't greet her. His eyes moved over her slowly, starting at her sneakers, tracing up her jeans to the loose sweater she'd chosen deliberately, something that covered her neck and wrists and offered no invitation.
"You're wearing too many clothes," he said.
Tracy's throat tightened. "It's cold outside."
"That wasn't a question about the weather." He closed the laptop and stood, walking around the desk to lean against the front edge. "Come here."
She crossed the room on unsteady legs, stopping a few feet from him. The space between them felt charged, electric with something she couldn't name, anticipation and dread tangled together until she couldn't tell them apart.
"Closer."
She stepped forward until she stood between his knees. He reached out and took the hem of her sweater, pulling it up. She raised her arms automatically and let him lift it over her head. He tossed it onto a chair and looked at her bra, a simple cotton thing she'd chosen for practicality rather than seduction.
"That won't work either." He reached behind her and unfastened it with one hand, sliding the straps down her arms. The bra joined her sweater on the chair.
Her breasts hung bare in the cool air of the office, her nipples tightening immediately from the chill or from his gaze or both. She fought the urge to cross her arms over her chest. She already understood that covering herself would be a violation of some unspoken rule.
"Turn around."
She turned slowly, facing the door. The silence stretched behind her. She could feel his eyes on her back, on the curve of her spine, on the waistband of her jeans.
"Bend over the desk."
The words hit her like cold water. She turned her head to look at him, a question forming on her lips.
"Did I stutter?"
"No, sir." The word slipped out before she could stop it. She hadn't called him that before. It had come from somewhere instinctive, a response to the authority in his voice that bypassed her conscious mind entirely.
"Good. You remember something from the last session." He gestured to the desk. "Now."
She walked to the desk and placed her palms on the polished wood surface. The wood was cool under her hands, smooth and unyielding. She bent forward, her jeans pulling tight across her hips.
"Lower. Chest flat on the desk."
She complied, pressing her torso against the wood. Her breasts flattened against the surface, the sensation strange and vulnerable, the cool varnish sending a shiver through her. She heard him move behind her, felt his hands on her waist, unfastening her jeans. The zipper rasped loud in the quiet room as he pulled it down.
"Lift your hips."
She did, and he pulled her jeans and underwear down to her knees in one smooth motion. The air hit her exposed skin and she shivered, goosebumps rising along her thighs. She was bare from the waist down, bent over his desk, her ass presented to him like an offering.
"Feet apart."
She shuffled her feet wider, the denim binding her ankles. The position opened her, made her acutely aware of how visible she was, how exposed. The lips of her sex were parted slightly, and she could feel cool air touching places that hadn't felt air in this context before. Heat bloomed in her cheeks that had nothing to do with embarrassment. Or perhaps everything to do with it.
"You're tense," he said. His voice came from directly behind her. "That's understandable. This is new. But tension works against you here."
"Against me?" Her voice came out thin, barely a whisper.
"When I correct you, you need to relax into it. Tensing makes it worse. It makes you tighter, more resistant. And resistance requires more force to overcome." His hand landed on her bare skin, palm flat, not a slap but a firm contact that made her jump anyway. The warmth of his hand spread across her cheek, and she felt her skin prickle under his touch. "You understand what I'm saying?"
"Yes." The word came out breathless.
"Yes, what?"
She hesitated. "Yes, sir."
His hand lifted and came down again, harder this time. The crack of palm against skin echoed in the quiet office. Pain bloomed across her right cheek, sharp and hot, radiating outward in waves that reached down between her legs. She gasped, her fingers curling against the desk surface.
"That's for the pause." His voice remained calm, instructional. "You know the correct form now. Use it without hesitation."
"Yes, sir." She said it quickly, her eyes stinging with the effort of holding back tears.
"Good." He stroked the reddening skin, his palm warm and almost soothing. The contrast between the sharp pain and the gentle touch was disorienting. His fingers traced the curve where her cheek met her thigh, and she felt her body respond, a flutter of arousal mixing with the residual sting. She was wet. She could feel it now, the slick heat between her legs, and the realization mortified her. "Now. The purpose of tonight is correction and training. Your posture during our last session was acceptable for a first attempt, but it needs refinement. Your responses were slow. Your compliance was reluctant. I understand reluctance. I expect it initially. But reluctance has consequences."
His hand came down again, landing on the same spot. The pain flared brighter, hotter, spreading across her entire cheek and reaching down into the soft flesh of her thigh. She gasped and gripped the edge of the desk, her knuckles white, her hips pressing forward against the wood.
"That consequence is correction. Each time you hesitate, each time you resist, I will correct you. Not harshly. Not excessively. But consistently. Do you understand?"
"Yes, sir."
"Good girl." The praise cut through her, unexpected and sharp. She hated how it made her stomach tighten, how it made something warm and hungry unfurl in her belly. She wanted to hear it again. She wanted to earn it. "Now. We're going to practice your responses. I'm going to ask you questions, and you're going to answer immediately, correctly, and with the proper address. If you fail, I correct you. Understood?"
"Yes, sir."
"What is your purpose here?"
The question hung in the air. She knew the answer. He'd told her in the first session, had explained the terms of the arrangement with cold precision. But saying it aloud felt different, more real, more permanent.
"My purpose is to serve you, sir."
"Good. What does serving me require?"
"Complete compliance, sir."
"Good. And what happens if you fail to comply?"
"I'm corrected, sir."
"Corrected how?"
Her mouth was dry, her tongue heavy. "Through discipline, sir. Through physical correction."
"Good." His hand landed on her other cheek, a measured slap that made her hips jerk forward against the desk. The sting spread across her skin and she felt her inner walls clench involuntarily, her body responding to the pain in ways that confused her. "That answer was correct. The correction is for the tension in your shoulders. You're still holding yourself tight. Relax."
She tried to force her shoulders to drop, to soften the rigid line of her back. It took conscious effort, a deliberate unclenching of muscles she hadn't realized she were gripping. As she relaxed, she became more aware of her position, more aware of how open she was, how the lips of her sex were slightly parted and glistening. She hoped he couldn't see. She knew he could.
"Better." His hand stroked over the newly reddened skin, tracing the curve of her ass with a gentleness that felt almost cruel. His fingers dipped lower, brushing the sensitive skin of her inner thigh, and she bit her lip to keep from making a sound. "Now. Tell me what you're learning tonight."
"I'm learning proper posture and response, sir."
"And why is that important?"
"So I can serve you more effectively, sir."
"Good. What do you owe me?"
"Complete submission, sir."
"And what does submission look like?"
"Obedience without hesitation, sir."
"Good. And when you fail to submit?"
"I am corrected, sir."
His hand landed on her thigh, a sharp slap that made her jump. The sting bloomed on the soft skin of her inner thigh, dangerously close to where she was wet and wanting. "That answer was correct. The correction is for the tremor in your voice. Steady your responses."
"Yes, sir." She forced her voice to level, to match his calm.
"Good." His palm settled on her ass again, warm and heavy, and she braced herself. But instead of striking, he traced his fingers down the cleft between her cheeks, slow and deliberate. She tensed, her breath catching. His fingers continued their path, reaching the wetness between her legs, and she heard him make a quiet sound, something between acknowledgment and approval.
"Your body understands the lesson even when your mind resists." His fingers slid through the slick folds, parting her gently, and she pressed her forehead against the desk, her eyes squeezed shut. "You're aroused. That's natural. That's correct. Your body knows what it's for."
She whimpered, the sound escaping before she could trap it behind her teeth. His fingers withdrew, and she felt the loss like a small death.
"We'll address that another time. Tonight is about discipline." He stepped back and she heard him moving, the creak of his chair as he sat down behind his desk. She remained bent over, her chest against the wood, her jeans around her knees. "Come here."
She looked up, confused. He was sitting in his desk chair, watching her with that same calm, assessing gaze.
"Crawl."
The word landed like another slap. She stared at him, her mind blank with shock, her body frozen in place.
"I'm sorry?"
The question came out before she could stop it. His expression didn't change, but something in his eyes hardened, a flicker of cold disappointment that cut deeper than any physical pain.
"That was a hesitation." He stood and walked around the desk, his footsteps deliberate on the carpet. He took her arm and guided her back to the desk, bending her over it again with firm, impersonal hands. "Ten additional corrections for the hesitation and the question."
His hand came down hard, a flat slap that made her gasp. The sound cracked through the office like a gunshot. "Count."
"One, sir."
Another slap on the other cheek, just as hard. The pain bloomed fresh, layering over the existing heat. "Two, sir."
The slaps came steadily, alternating cheeks, each one precise and measured. He wasn't striking wildly. Every blow landed with intention, building a rhythm that her body began to anticipate. She could feel her skin growing hotter with each strike, the sting accumulating into something deeper, a throb that reached between her legs and made her wetter with each correction. She counted through them, her voice breaking on the higher numbers. By the sixth, her hips had stopped jerking away and instead pressed into each blow, her body surrendering to the pattern. By the eighth, tears were streaming down her face, dripping onto the polished wood. By the tenth, she was sobbing openly, her body shaking with each impact, her breath coming in ragged gasps, but beneath the pain she could feel something else, something that pulsed in time with the sting and made her ache for his touch.
He stopped. His hand rested on her burning skin, warm and still, a strange comfort after the punishment. His palm was gentle now, cupping the curve of her ass, and she felt her hips press back into his hand without conscious thought.
"That was ten. You counted correctly. Good girl."
The praise cut through the sobbing, a strange counterpoint to the pain. She hated how it felt, how it made her want to earn more of it, how it made the punishment almost worth it. His thumb traced a slow circle on her heated skin, and she felt the ache between her legs intensify, her inner walls clenching around nothing.
He helped her stand, his hands steadying her as she wobbled on legs that felt like rubber. The movement made her aware of how wet she was, the slickness coating her inner thighs. He pulled her jeans and underwear up, fastening them with impersonal efficiency, smoothing the denim over her hips. The fabric pressed against her punished skin, and she hissed at the contact. He retrieved her bra and sweater and handed them to her.
"Dress."
She pulled them on with trembling hands, her skin hypersensitive, every brush of fabric against her punished cheeks a reminder of what had happened. The sweater felt rough against her tender skin. Her nipples were still hard, pressing against the cotton of her bra, visible through the loose knit. She didn't try to hide them. She understood now that hiding was another form of resistance.
When she was dressed, he guided her to the chair across from his desk and sat her down. The cushion pressed against her sore skin and she shifted, trying to find a position that didn't ache. He took his own seat and looked at her, his expression unreadable.
"You did well tonight."
She stared at him, her eyes red and puffy, her face wet with tears. "I did?"
"You took correction without fighting. You counted correctly. You used the proper address after the initial mistake." He leaned back in his chair. "The first session established the hierarchy. This session establishes the method. You now understand that disobedience has immediate consequences. You also understand that compliance earns approval."
She wiped her face with the back of her hand. "I understand."
"Good." He checked his watch. "Tomorrow, same time. We'll work on verbal responses and positional training. Wear a skirt. No underwear."
"Yes, sir."
The words came automatically now, a reflex born of the last hour. She stood, and he nodded toward the door.
"You're dismissed."
She walked to the door on unsteady legs, her body aching, her mind numb. She paused with her hand on the handle, a question forming.
She stopped herself. She'd learned something tonight. Questions had consequences.
She opened the door and walked out into the empty hallway, the fluorescent lights buzzing overhead. The walk back to her dorm was a blur. She showered, the hot water stinging her punished skin, and lay in bed staring at the ceiling.
She was beginning to understand the rules. And that understanding terrified her more than the pain had.
Tomorrow. Skirt. No underwear.
She closed her eyes and felt the shape of the words in her mind, already internalizing the instruction. Already complying. Her body was learning faster than her mind, responding to his commands before she could think about them. She pressed her thighs together under the sheets and felt the ache still there, the arousal that had built during the punishment and never found release.
She hated how natural it felt. How right.
She turned onto her side, pulling the blanket up to her chin. The sheets were cool against her heated skin. She could still feel the ghost of his hand on her, the sting of correction, the warmth of praise, the brush of his fingers between her legs. Her body remembered all of it, catalogued each sensation, craved more.
The instruction repeated in her mind like a mantra, already embedded, already accepted. She was learning. She was changing.
And she didn't know how to stop it.
Scheduled Use
The third week of the arrangement brought a new rhythm to Tracy's life. She no longer checked her class schedule in the morning. She checked the text from Harken. The messages came the night before, always the same format. A time. A location. Sometimes a single word like "skirt" or "no bra." She had learned to obey without question.
Tuesday and Thursday between her Intro to Psych lecture and her afternoon lab. That was the new slot. Fifty minutes of overlap where she was supposed to be in the library reviewing notes. Instead she walked across campus with her bag over one shoulder and her stomach in knots.
Harken's office door was unlocked. She stepped inside and closed it behind her without being told. The blinds were already drawn. He sat at his desk grading papers, not looking up as she entered.
"You're early," he said.
"My lecture let out early."
"Then you have extra time. Good." He set his pen down and finally looked at her. "Close the blinds the rest of the way. They're uneven."
Tracy crossed to the window and adjusted the slats until no gap remained. The room darkened. She turned back to face him, waiting.
"Come here."
She walked to the desk and stopped in front of his chair. He reached out and took her bag from her shoulder, setting it on the floor. Then his hands settled on her hips, pulling her closer until her thighs pressed against the edge of his desk.
"You've been doing well," he said. His voice was calm, almost conversational. "Your posture is better. You don't hesitate as much. But we're ready for the next stage."
Tracy's throat tightened. She knew what that meant. She had known it was coming since the first night he made her kneel. But knowing and hearing were different things.
"I thought you might want to discuss it first," she said quietly.
"No." His hands moved from her hips to the button of her jeans. "You don't get a vote on this. You get to follow instructions."
She stood still as he unfastened her jeans and pulled them down her thighs. The denim caught on her hips and she shifted to help him, then caught herself. She wasn't supposed to help. She was supposed to be still.
"Step out."
She did. Her jeans pooled around her ankles and she stepped free of them, standing in her plain cotton underwear and the loose t-shirt she had worn to class. Harken looked at her for a long moment, then turned back to his papers.
"Kneel."
She dropped to her knees on the carpet beside his chair. The position was familiar now. Her hands rested on her thighs. Her eyes stayed lowered. She waited.
He continued grading for several minutes. The scratch of his pen was the only sound in the room. Tracy's knees began to ache against the thin carpet. She didn't shift. She had learned that lesson.
Finally he set the pen down and turned to face her. "You're going to learn something new today. And you're going to learn it the same way you've learned everything else. Through repetition."
He stood and unbuttoned his slacks. Tracy watched his hands move, her breath shallow. She had done this before. She knew the mechanics of it. But this time felt different. This time he didn't guide her head. He didn't tell her what to do.
"Stand up."
She rose on unsteady legs. He took her hand and placed it on his length, already hard. Her fingers wrapped around him automatically. He was thick and warm in her grip, the skin smooth over rigid flesh. She could feel his pulse beating beneath her palm.
"Turn around and bend over the desk."
The command was simple. Tracy turned and placed her palms flat on the cold surface of his desk. Her notes from Introduction to Psych were spread beneath her hands. She stared at the words without seeing them. She heard him move behind her, felt his hands on her hips again, felt him pull her underwear down to her knees.
"You're nervous," he said. It wasn't a question.
"Yes."
"Good. Nervous means you're paying attention."
She felt the head of him press against her, not entering, just resting there. The heat of him was immediate against her bare skin. Her whole body tensed. She gripped the edge of the desk and tried to breathe.
"Relax." His voice was patient, almost kind. "This will be easier if you relax."
"I'm trying."
"Try harder."
She took a long breath and let it out slowly, forcing her shoulders to drop, forcing her jaw to unclench. His hand came to rest on her lower back, a warm pressure that steadied her.
"That's better."
He pushed into her slowly. Tracy gasped at the intrusion, her body resisting for a moment before yielding. The stretch was immediate and intense, a fullness that made her fingers curl against the desk surface. She squeezed her eyes shut and focused on breathing. He was thick and she was tight and the sensation was overwhelming. She felt herself clenching around him involuntarily, her body trying to adjust to the invasion.
"You're taking me well," he said. His voice was low, almost approving. "Better than I expected."
He began to move, slow and deliberate strokes that pressed deeper with each one. Tracy braced herself against the desk, her knuckles white. The stretch was intense, a fullness that bordered on pain but wasn't quite there. She felt every inch of him moving inside her, the friction building a heat that radiated through her core.
He pulled almost completely out, leaving her feeling suddenly empty, then pushed back in with a single deliberate thrust that made her cry out. The sound was too loud in the quiet office. She bit her lip to stifle it.
"Don't be quiet," he said. "I want to hear you."
She swallowed hard and nodded. The next thrust drew a smaller sound from her, a whimper that escaped before she could catch it. His hand tightened on her hip in response.
"Good. Let me hear what I do to you."
He kept moving, finding a rhythm that was steady and relentless. Each thrust pressed her hips against the desk edge, the pressure grounding her even as the sensation built. She could feel herself growing wetter around him, her body slick and receptive. The discomfort faded, replaced by something deeper, something that made her want to push back against him.
"Look at yourself."
She opened her eyes. The computer monitor on his desk was dark, but the screen reflected her image. She saw herself bent over the desk, her t-shirt rucked up, her hair hanging loose around her face. She saw Harken behind her, his hands on her hips, his expression focused and detached.
"You see what you are now," he said. "You see what you've become."
Tracy watched herself in the dark screen. She watched him move inside her. She watched her own mouth fall open as the sensation built. She didn't look away.
"I want you to feel this," he said. "I want you to remember every detail. The pressure of the desk against your palms. The way I fill you. The sound of my breathing."
She did feel it. Every detail burned into her memory. The scrape of the desk edge against her thighs. The weight of him pressing deeper. The faint smell of his cologne mixing with the scent of sex.
His pace increased, still controlled but more insistent. Tracy felt something building low in her belly, a warmth that spread through her like liquid heat. Her breath came faster. Her fingers curled against the papers beneath them.
"Don't come."
The words cut through the haze. She gasped and tried to pull back from the edge, but it was hard. Her body wanted to surrender. She had never been very good at holding back.
"I said don't come." His hand moved from her hip to her hair, gripping the length of it and pulling her head back. The sting focused her. "You don't get to come until I say you can. Do you understand?"
"Yes," she breathed.
"Say it."
"I understand."
He released her hair and his hand returned to her hip. He kept moving, deep and steady, pushing her toward the edge and holding her there. Tracy trembled, her whole body shaking with the effort of restraint. She had never had to hold back before. She had never been told to wait.
"This is part of your training," he said. "Learning to control your body. Learning to submit completely."
She nodded, not trusting her voice. He was still moving inside her, still pressing that same spot that made her vision blur. She bit her lip and tasted blood.
"You're doing well," he said. "Hold it."
She held. She held until her muscles screamed and her breath came in ragged gasps. She held until she thought she might pass out from the strain.
His thumb found the place where they joined, pressing against the sensitive bundle of nerves there. Tracy's hips jerked involuntarily, a broken sound escaping her throat.
"Feel that," he said. "Feel what happens when I touch you. But don't you dare come."
She was sobbing now, small desperate sounds muffled against the desk surface. The pleasure was building too high, cresting like a wave about to break. Every nerve in her body screamed for release. She didn't know how much longer she could last.
"Please," she whispered. She hadn't meant to speak.
"Please what?" His voice was calm. Infuriatingly calm.
"Please let me come. I can't hold it."
"You can. And you will. Until I decide you've earned it."
He withdrew almost completely, leaving just the tip inside her. The emptiness was worse than the fullness. She whimpered and tried to push back, to take him deeper, but his hand held her firmly in place.
"Stay still."
She froze, trembling. He pushed back in slowly, inch by inch, stretching her all over again. When he was fully seated inside her, he stopped. Just held there, filling her completely while she shook apart around him.
"Now."
The word was permission. Tracy's body released instantly, a shuddering climax that ripped through her and left her gasping against the desk. She heard herself make a sound, something between a sob and a moan, as the waves of sensation rolled through her. Her inner walls clenched around him in pulsing waves, drawing him deeper as the pleasure crested and broke over her again and again.
Harken kept moving through her orgasm, drawing it out, pushing her further. She felt him tense behind her, felt his grip tighten on her hips as he found his own release. He thrust deep one final time, holding himself there as he spilled inside her. She felt the warmth of it flooding her, filling her, claiming her in a way that was unmistakable and permanent.
He stayed inside her for a long moment, breathing hard, his forehead resting against her shoulder blades. She could feel his heartbeat against her back, or maybe that was her own pulse pounding through her body. She couldn't tell anymore where she ended and he began.
Then he pulled out and stepped back.
Tracy stayed bent over the desk, her legs shaking, her body humming with aftershocks. She felt his release trickling down her inner thigh, warm and wet. She heard him move around the room, heard water running in the small sink in the corner. She didn't move until he spoke.
"Clean yourself up. You have fifteen minutes before your lab."
She pushed herself upright slowly. Her underwear was still around her knees. She pulled it up and felt the dampness against her skin. Her jeans were on the floor. She bent to retrieve them, her movements clumsy and slow.
"Tracy."
She looked up. Harken was standing by his desk, fully dressed, his shirt tucked in, his hair combed. He looked like he had just finished a department meeting. Nothing about him suggested what had just happened.
"Yes?"
"Wednesday. Same time. I'll text you the location."
She nodded and finished pulling on her jeans. Her hands were still shaking as she fastened the button. She grabbed her bag and walked to the door, pausing with her hand on the handle.
"Professor?"
"Yes."
"Is it always going to be like this?"
He looked at her, his expression unreadable. "Like what?"
"Scheduled. Between classes. Like I'm just another appointment on your calendar."
"Yes." He sat down at his desk and picked up his pen. "That's exactly what it's going to be."
Tracy opened the door and stepped into the hallway. The fluorescent lights were harsh after the dim office. She blinked and started walking toward the science building, her legs still unsteady, her body still aching from the stretch.
She made it to the lab with a few minutes to spare. Her lab partner, a quiet pre-med student named Marcus, was already there setting up equipment. He glanced at her as she sat down.
"You look kind of flushed. You feeling okay?"
"Fine," she said. "Just ran across campus."
He nodded and turned back to his work. Tracy pulled out her lab manual and stared at the page without seeing it. She could still feel Harken inside her. The phantom pressure of him moving. His voice in her ear telling her not to come.
She had never been told not to come before. She had never been given permission like it was a gift. And the worst part, the part she couldn't stop thinking about, was how good it had felt when he finally said yes.
The lab session passed in a blur. Tracy went through the motions, pipetting solutions and recording data, her body present but her mind somewhere else entirely. Marcus asked her a question about the protocol and she answered without thinking, the words automatic.
When the lab ended she packed her bag and walked back across campus. The afternoon sun was warm on her face. Students milled around the quad, laughing and talking. A group of girls from her dorm waved at her and she waved back, her face frozen in a smile.
She was one of them. She looked like one of them. But she wasn't anymore.
Her phone buzzed. She pulled it out of her pocket and saw Harken's name on the screen. The message was short.
"Wednesday. Afternoon. My apartment. Address to follow."
Tracy stared at the message for a long moment. His apartment. Not his office. Somewhere private. Somewhere with a bed.
She typed back a single word: "Okay."
Then she put her phone away and kept walking toward her dorm, her schedule no longer her own, her body already learning to wait for his command.
Public Pressure
The email arrived early Thursday morning. Tracy read it three times on her phone while sitting in the campus parking lot, her breakfast sandwich going cold in her lap.
"Departmental mixer this Friday evening. Faculty, staff, and selected undergraduate research assistants. Attendance expected."
She knew what it meant before he confirmed it. The second email came an hour later, from Harken's private address.
"You will attend. Dress professionally. No undergarments beneath your skirt. Report to my office before we walk over together for inspection."
Tracy stared at the screen. Her fingers trembled as she typed back a single word.
"Yes."
Friday arrived too fast. She stood in front of her closet that afternoon, pulling through hangers with shaking hands. A navy blue skirt. A cream blouse. Both professional. Both modest. She laid them on her bed and stared at the pile of underwear in her drawer.
She left them there.
The walk across campus felt wrong. Every step sent a faint brush of fabric against bare skin. The air between her legs felt exposed, open, like she was walking half-undressed through the quad. She kept her stride short and her thighs pressed together. Students passed her without looking. None of them knew. None of them could see. But she felt like everyone could.
Harken's office door was open when she arrived. He sat at his desk, reviewing papers, and glanced up as she knocked on the frame.
"Come in. Close the door."
She stepped inside and shut it behind her. The lock clicked.
"Turn around."
Tracy turned slowly, her hands clasped in front of her. She heard him stand, felt the air shift as he approached. His fingers found the waistband of her skirt and pulled it away from her body just enough to check.
"Good." His voice was calm, approving. "You followed instructions."
She nodded, not trusting her voice.
"Turn back around."
She faced him. He was close, close enough that she could smell his cologne. Close enough that she had to tilt her head up to meet his eyes.
"This is the first time you've been in public with me under these conditions. Do you understand what that means?"
"Yes."
"Tell me."
Tracy swallowed. "It means I have to act normal. I have to smile and talk to people and pretend nothing is happening."
"And?"
"And all the while I'll know. I'll know what's underneath. What you know is underneath."
Harken's hand came up and cupped her jaw, his thumb brushing across her lower lip. "That's correct. You'll be on display, surrounded by my colleagues, by your peers. And you'll stand there, perfectly composed, perfectly professional, while I know exactly what you're hiding under that skirt."
She felt heat rise to her cheeks. Her heart hammered against her ribs.
"You'll do well," he said. "You've learned to follow instructions. I expect you to perform tonight."
He released her and stepped back. "We leave in five minutes."
The department mixer was held in the main faculty lounge, a long room with tall windows overlooking the campus green. Tables of hors d'oeuvres lined one wall. A small bar setup occupied the corner. Faculty members clustered in groups, holding wine glasses and talking in low, comfortable tones.
Tracy walked beside Harken, her heels clicking on the hardwood floor. She felt the eyes of a few graduate students land on her and then slide away. She was just another undergraduate research assistant, invited as a courtesy.
She was nothing special.
Harken introduced her to a few colleagues. "This is Tracy Basker. She's been assisting with my data analysis this semester. Excellent work."
She shook hands. She smiled. She made small talk about her major, her classes, her plans after graduation. Her voice sounded steady. Her hands stayed still. And underneath her skirt, the cool air of the room brushed against her bare thighs every time she shifted her weight.
She felt the absence of fabric like a constant whisper. A secret pressed against her skin.
At one point, Harken touched her lower back. Just a brief, casual contact as he leaned past her to grab a napkin. But the warmth of his palm against the thin fabric of her blouse sent a jolt through her. She felt her breath catch, her body responding before her mind could catch up.
She hated how quickly her body had learned to respond to him.
The hour stretched. She made conversation with a department secretary about course scheduling. She laughed at a joke from a postdoc. She ate a single cracker with cheese, though her stomach was too tight for food.
And all the while, she felt Harken's presence across the room. He wasn't watching her. Not obviously. But she knew he was aware of her, tracking her movements, cataloging every interaction.
Later in the evening, he excused himself from a conversation and caught her eye. A small nod toward the hallway.
Tracy excused herself from the group she was standing with and walked toward the restrooms. She pushed open the door to the women's room, but Harken's hand caught her elbow before she could enter.
"Faculty restroom," he said quietly. "This way."
He led her down a narrower hallway, past a door marked with a small plaque: "Faculty Only." He produced a key, unlocked it, and gestured for her to enter.
The room was small. A single stall, a sink, a mirror. Clean but institutional. The fluorescent light hummed overhead.
Harken followed her in and locked the door behind them.
"Kneel."
She dropped without hesitation. The tile was cold through her skirt. She felt the chill seep into her knees as she settled onto her heels, her hands resting on her thighs.
Harken stood over her, looking down. He was still wearing his suit jacket, his tie perfectly straight. He looked like he belonged at that mixer, like he could walk back out in moments and no one would know.
No one would know what he did in here.
"You performed well tonight," he said. "You held yourself properly. No one suspected a thing."
"Thank you." The words came automatically now. A reflex.
"But you've been thinking about it all night, haven't you? About what's missing. About what I know."
She nodded.
"Tell me."
"I've been thinking about it all night," she repeated. "Every time I moved, I felt it. Every time someone looked at me, I wondered if they could tell."
"And could they?"
"No."
"No. Because you've learned to hide it. To compartmentalize. That's a valuable skill." He reached down and took her chin, tilting her face up. "But now the event is over. You don't need to hide anymore."
He unzipped his trousers. The sound was loud in the small, tiled room.
"Open your mouth."
She did. She leaned forward, her hands gripping her own thighs as she took him into her mouth. The taste was familiar now. The weight of him against her tongue, the way her jaw had to stretch to accommodate him. She had learned the rhythm, the pressure, the way to use her tongue along the underside.
He was still wearing his suit jacket. Still looking like a professor at a department event. And she was on her knees on a bathroom floor, serving him.
His hand settled on the back of her head, fingers threading through her hair. He didn't push. He didn't need to. She knew the pace he wanted. She had learned that too.
"That's it," he said quietly. "You've earned this. You've earned the right to serve me tonight."
She felt a strange warmth at his words. Approval. She had done well. She had followed instructions. She had stood in a room full of his colleagues, exposed and vulnerable, and no one had known. She had held herself together.
And now she was being rewarded with this. With the chance to prove her obedience again.
The minutes stretched. Her jaw ached. Her knees pressed into the hard tile. But she didn't stop. She didn't slow. She kept the rhythm steady, her focus narrowed to the task, to the sound of his breathing growing heavier above her.
"Close." His voice was tight. "Don't stop."
She didn't. She pushed through the ache, through the strain, until she felt him stiffen, heard his breath catch, tasted the salt of him as he came.
She swallowed. She had learned to do that too.
He stood still for a moment, catching his breath. Then he tucked himself away, zipped his trousers, and smoothed his jacket.
"Stand up."
She rose, her knees stiff, her face flushed. She met his eyes in the mirror. Her lipstick was smudged. Her hair was slightly disheveled.
Harken reached past her and turned on the faucet. He wet a paper towel and handed it to her. "Clean up."
She took it and wiped her face. She fixed her lipstick from a tube in her purse. She smoothed her hair.
When she looked in the mirror again, she looked like a student again. Like someone who belonged at a department mixer.
Harken unlocked the door and held it open. "You can go home now. I'll see you Monday at the usual time."
She walked past him, out into the empty hallway, back toward the main corridor. The mixer was still going on. She could hear voices and laughter from the lounge.
She walked past the door without looking in. She walked out of the building and across the dark campus to her car.
The night air was cold against her face. The skirt still felt wrong against her bare skin. But she didn't think about that anymore. She thought about Monday. About the next instruction. About the next time she would kneel for him.
She got into her car and sat for a long moment, her hands on the wheel, her breathing slow and steady.
She had performed well tonight. She had followed instructions. She had earned his approval.
And that was enough.
Extended Session
She found the apartment building on a quiet street a mile from campus. Brick and ivy, old money. The kind of place professors lived. She pressed the buzzer and waited. Her stomach was tight. She hadn't eaten all day.
The door clicked open. She climbed three flights of stairs. He was waiting in the doorway, dressed in a dark sweater and slacks. The apartment behind him was clean and sparse. Hardwood floors. White walls. A few pieces of modern furniture. No photographs anywhere.
"Right on time," he said. "Come in."
She stepped inside. He closed the door and locked it. The sound of the deadbolt was final.
"Take off your clothes," he said. "Then kneel in the center of the living room."
She undressed. She folded her clothes and placed them on a chair. Then she knelt on the hardwood floor. It was cold and hard against her knees. She kept her eyes down.
He walked past her into the bedroom. When he returned, he was holding rope. Soft rope, the kind used for restraints. He knelt behind her and began to tie her wrists together. The rope was snug but not tight. Then he attached the rope to a metal ring bolted into the floor. She was anchored. She couldn't stand. She couldn't move more than a few inches.
"Today is different," he said, standing in front of her. "We have the whole afternoon. I'm going to use that time to make sure you understand exactly what you are."
He paused. She waited.
"Tell me what you are."
She hesitated. "I'm your submissive."
"More specific."
"I'm your student. The one you're blackmailing."
He shook his head slowly. "No. That's what brought you here. That's not what you are now. Try again."
She felt the shame rise. "I'm your... your submissive."
"Close. But I want you to say it exactly. Say 'I am your property.'"
The words stuck in her throat. She couldn't. She just couldn't.
He waited. He didn't rush. He stood there, arms crossed, watching. The silence stretched. She felt the rope around her wrists. She felt the floor under her knees. She felt the weight of the semester pressing down on her.
"I am your property," she whispered.
"Again."
"I am your property."
"Good. Now say 'I exist to serve you.'"
She said it. Her voice cracked.
"I exist to serve you."
"Again."
"I exist to serve you."
He nodded. "Now say 'My body is yours to use however you want.'"
She said it. Each word felt like a door closing behind her.
"My body is yours to use however you want."
"Good. Now say it all together. Say 'I am your submissive. I exist to serve you. My body is yours to use. I am your property.'"
She recited it. The words were hollow. But she said them. He made her repeat it three times. By the third time, the words came easier. That scared her.
He unbuttoned his pants. He was already hard. "You know what to do."
She leaned forward. The rope pulled at her wrists. She took him in her mouth. The position was awkward with her hands tied behind her. She had to lean forward, her back arching. She worked him with her mouth and tongue. He tasted clean. Soap and salt. He let her continue for a long time. She could feel him in her throat. She didn't gag. She had learned not to.
He pulled back after a while. "Stand up. Turn around. Bend over the arm of the couch."
She did. The couch was leather. Cold against her stomach. She felt him behind her. He ran his hand over her ass, her thighs. He didn't enter her. He just touched her, slowly, deliberately.
"You've been doing well," he said. "But I need you to understand that this isn't temporary. This isn't something you're enduring until the end of the semester. This is what you are now."
He entered her without warning. She gasped. He was deep, filling her completely. He began to move, slow and steady.
"This is what you are," he said, thrusting. "You're a place I use. A body I own."
He fucked her slowly, deliberately. The rhythm was steady. He didn't rush. He didn't speak. Just the sound of his breathing, the creak of the leather, the wet sound of his movement inside her. She felt herself responding. She hated it. She couldn't stop it.
He reached around and touched her clit. "Don't come," he said.
She held back. She trembled. He kept going, kept touching her, kept fucking her. He brought her to the edge and held her there.
"Tell me who you belong to."
"I belong to you."
"Tell me what you are."
"I am your property."
He let her come. She shuddered against him. He kept moving, drawing it out. Then he pulled out and came on her back. Hot and wet.
"Clean yourself up," he said. "Then come to the bedroom."
She went to the bathroom. She wiped herself clean with a towel. She looked in the mirror. Her face was flushed. Her eyes were empty. She looked away.
The bedroom was simple. A bed, a dresser, a window with the blinds drawn. He was waiting on the bed, naked. He had more rope. And a silk scarf.
"Lie down," he said.
She lay on her back. He tied her wrists to the headboard. Then her ankles to the foot of the bed. She was spread open, vulnerable. He blindfolded her with the scarf. The world went dark.
"Now," he said, "we have time."
He began to touch her. He was slow, methodical. He traced her body with his fingers. He watched her face, even though she couldn't see him. She felt his hands everywhere. Her neck. Her breasts. Her stomach. Her thighs. He was learning her body.
"Tell me what you are."
"I am your property."
"Tell me what you exist for."
"I exist to serve you."
"Tell me what your body is for."
"My body is yours to use however you want."
He touched her clit. She was sensitive from before. She gasped.
"Don't come," he said.
He worked her for a long time. Bringing her to the edge, then pulling back. Over and over. She lost track of time. She was desperate. She was begging.
"Please. Please let me come."
"Not yet."
He entered her again. He fucked her slowly, deeply. He was in control of everything. Her breathing. Her pleasure. Her voice.
"Tell me who you belong to."
"I belong to you."
"Tell me what you are."
"I am your submissive. I am your property. My body is yours to use."
He picked up the pace. He was close. He reached between them and touched her clit.
"Come for me," he said.
She did. She came hard, her body arching against the restraints. He followed, coming inside her. She felt him pulse. She felt his weight on her. She lay there, blindfolded, tied, empty.
He untied her after a while. He removed the blindfold. The light was dim. He was already dressed.
"You can go," he said. "Same time next week."
She dressed. She left. She walked home through the dark streets. The city was quiet. She felt hollow. She felt owned.
She knew she would come back. She knew she would say the words. She knew she was his property. She had no choice.
But there was something else. Something she didn't want to admit. A part of her that didn't want to fight anymore. A part of her that wanted to be what he said she was. She pushed it down. She went home. She showered. She went to bed.
She dreamed of ropes and commands and a cold smile. And in the dream, she didn't resist.
Near Exposure
The departmental hallway had never felt so narrow. Tracy walked beside Dr. Vance, her smile fixed in place, her pulse a rapid drum against her ribs. Every step sent a dull ache through her hips where the bruises had settled overnight.
"You're doing great work on the Henderson project," Vance said, adjusting his glasses. He was fiftyish, kind-eyed, completely unaware. "Gerner mentioned you've been putting in extra hours."
"I want to get it right," she said. Her voice sounded normal. Light. Like she hadn't spent the previous night on her knees in Harken's off-campus apartment.
Vance nodded approvingly. "That's the attitude. Too many students just want the grade without the effort."
She laughed. It came out easy. "I figure if I'm going to do it, I might as well do it properly."
They rounded the corner. Harken's office door was open. Light spilled into the hallway.
"Actually, I need to grab those enrollment numbers from him," Vance said. "Mind if we stop?"
Her stomach dropped. "Of course not."
Harken looked up as they approached. His eyes moved from Vance to her, and something flickered there. Recognition. Possession. He leaned back in his chair.
"David. Tracy. What can I do for you?"
Vance stepped through the doorway. Tracy followed, her legs moving automatically. She positioned herself just inside the frame, arms crossed loosely over her chest. Casual. Unconcerned.
"Just need those enrollment projections for the budget meeting," Vance said.
Harken pulled open a drawer. "I have them here somewhere."
Tracy's skin prickled. She was wearing a thin sweater. The marks on her wrists from the restraints had faded to mottled purple, but they were still visible if someone looked closely. She kept her hands tucked against her sides.
"Tracy was just telling me about her work on Henderson," Vance said, filling the silence. "Impressive dedication."
Harken's mouth curved slightly. "She's been very... thorough."
The word landed like a physical touch. Her cheeks heated. She forced herself to breathe.
"I try," she said.
Vance laughed. "Modest too."
Harken handed him a folder. "Here. All the numbers you need."
"Perfect. Thanks, Gerner." Vance turned to her. "Keep up the good work, Tracy. It's refreshing to see a student take ownership of their future."
She smiled. "I will. Thank you, Dr. Vance."
He walked out. His footsteps receded down the hallway.
The door clicked shut.
Tracy didn't move. She stared at the grain of the wood, her heart hammering so loud she was sure he could hear it. The silence stretched. She counted her breaths. One. Two.
"Come here."
The command was soft. Quiet. It pulled at something deep in her chest.
She turned. Walked to his desk. Stopped in front of him.
"That was close," he said.
"I know."
"You handled it well."
The praise surprised her. She looked up. His expression was unreadable, but there was a warmth in his eyes she hadn't seen before.
"I didn't have a choice," she said.
"There's always a choice." He leaned forward, elbows on the desk. "You chose to stay calm. To lie smoothly. To protect what's ours."
Ours. The word wrapped around her throat.
"I was terrified," she admitted.
"I know." He reached out, took her hand. His thumb traced over the bruises on her wrist. "But you didn't show it. That's the important part."
Her skin tingled under his touch. The fear was still there, coiled in her stomach, but something else was growing beneath it. Something hot and shameful.
"You're aroused," he said. It wasn't a question.
"I don't know what I am."
"I do." He stood, came around the desk. His body blocked the light. "You're a girl who almost got caught. Who held herself together under pressure. And now you need to let go."
She should have said no. Should have pulled away. But her body leaned toward him, drawn by a gravity she no longer fought.
"The door's unlocked," she whispered.
"I know."
"Anyone could walk in."
"That's the point."
He pushed her back against the desk. The edge bit into her thighs. His hands found the waistband of her jeans, unbuttoned them with practiced efficiency. He tugged the denim down over her hips, past her knees, until the fabric pooled around her ankles. Cool air rushed against her bare skin. His fingers hooked into the waistband of her underwear and dragged them down slowly, deliberately, making her feel every inch of the exposure.
"What if someone comes?" Her voice was thin, breathless.
"Then they'll see exactly what you are." He stepped back for a moment, just looking. His gaze traveled from her face down to the junction of her thighs. "A student who spreads her legs for her professor."
The words should have shamed her. They did shame her. But the shame ignited something else, something that burned through her veins like alcohol.
He didn't undress. Just unzipped his trousers, freed himself, and positioned between her legs. The cold air hit her exposed skin. She could feel herself already slick, already swollen, her body responding before her mind could catch up.
"Look at me."
She did. His face was close, his eyes dark and intense.
"You're mine," he said. "And I'm going to fuck you now. Quietly. Because there's a colleague two doors down who might come looking for me."
He pushed inside her in one smooth motion. She bit her lip, swallowed the gasp. He was thick, filling her completely, stretching her open around him. Her inner walls clenched, trying to adjust, and he groaned softly at the tightness.
"That's it," he breathed. "Take it."
He held there for a moment, buried to the hilt, letting her feel every inch of him. Her thighs trembled against the desk. She could feel her pulse where they were joined, the thick heat of him pulsing inside her.
He began to move. Slow at first, deep thrusts that pressed her into the desk. Each one drew a small sound from her throat that she fought to contain. She gripped the edge, knuckles white. Every sound seemed amplified. The creak of the desk. The wet slide of his movement. Her own ragged breathing.
"You're so tight," he murmured. "So scared. And so fucking wet."
She was. She could feel it, the slick evidence of her body's betrayal, coating him, making each thrust smooth and easy. He fucked her harder, faster, his rhythm frantic and urgent. The desk shifted beneath her with each impact.
"I almost had you in front of David," he said, his voice low and rough. "Almost had to explain why my student was trembling in my doorway. Why her wrists were bruised."
She moaned. Caught it in her throat.
"But you kept it together. You lied for me. For us." His hand found her hair, pulled her head back, exposing the line of her throat. "And now I'm going to reward you."
His pace increased. The wet sounds grew louder, more obscene. She could feel herself building toward something, the tension coiling tighter with each thrust. His free hand found her breast through the sweater, squeezing roughly, pinching her nipple through the fabric until she whimpered.
"Quiet," he reminded her. "Unless you want someone to hear."
She bit down on her lip harder. Tasted blood. He drove into her with punishing force. The desk scraped against the floor, a loud grating sound that made them both freeze for a heartbeat. But no footsteps came. No voices. Just the hum of the fluorescent lights and the slick, desperate sound of him fucking her.
"Please," she whispered.
"Please what?"
"Please don't stop."
He didn't. He fucked her through the fear, through the risk, through the thin line between panic and ecstasy. His thumb found her clit, circled it with precise, deliberate pressure. Her body tightened, the orgasm building like a wave about to break.
"Come for me," he commanded. "Come quietly. Show me how good you are."
She shattered. The orgasm ripped through her, silent and violent. Her body arched, her mouth open in a soundless cry. Her walls clenched around him in waves, pulling him deeper, and he followed moments later with a harsh breath against her neck. She felt him pulse inside her, the hot rush of him filling her, and the sensation triggered another smaller tremor that made her legs shake uncontrollably.
They stayed like that for a long moment. His weight against her. The heat of his breath. The sticky evidence of what they'd done, leaking from where they were still joined.
He pulled back slowly. She felt him slip out of her, felt the immediate emptiness, the trickle of warmth down her inner thigh. He tucked himself away. She sat up, legs trembling, and reached for her jeans. Her fingers were clumsy, shaking. She fumbled with the button twice before it caught.
"You did well," he said. "Better than well."
She nodded. Couldn't speak.
"Same time tomorrow. We'll discuss your next assignment."
"Yes, Professor."
She walked to the door. Paused. Looked back.
He was already at his desk, reviewing papers. As if nothing had happened.
She stepped into the hallway. It was empty. The fluorescent lights hummed overhead. She walked toward the exit, her legs unsteady, her body still humming with the aftershocks of what she'd done. She could feel him between her thighs with every step, a warm, slick reminder.
The fear was still there. It would always be there. But underneath it, something else had taken root. Something that made her walk faster, eager for tomorrow.
Permanent Record
The last day of finals week always felt strange on campus. Half the students had already gone home, their dorm rooms empty, their futures waiting somewhere else. Tracy walked across the nearly deserted quad with her bag slung over one shoulder, her steps slow and deliberate. She knew this meeting was different. She could feel it in the way Harken had texted her: My office. Late afternoon. Don't be late. No explanation. No hint of what he wanted. Just that cold command she had learned to obey without question.
She pushed open the door to the humanities building and climbed the stairs. Her heart still beat faster when she approached his office, but the panic was gone now. Replaced by something hollow and quiet. Acceptance, maybe. Or just exhaustion. She had stopped fighting months ago, stopped pretending she had any choice. But tonight felt like a threshold.
The door was slightly ajar. She knocked anyway.
"Come in, Tracy."
She entered and closed the door behind her. Harken sat at his desk, grading papers with the same calm precision he always had. He didn't look up right away. She stood by the chair across from him, waiting. The silence stretched, familiar and heavy.
"Sit," he said finally, setting down his pen.
She sat. Her hands rested on her thighs, palms flat. She had learned not to fidget.
Harken leaned back in his chair and studied her for a long moment. His eyes moved over her face, her posture, her clothes. She wore jeans and a loose sweater, nothing special. But she knew he was looking for something. Compliance. Readiness. The absence of resistance.
"Your final grades have been submitted," he said. "You passed. All your courses."
She nodded. "Thank you."
"The data you falsified is still in the system. It will remain there." He paused, letting the words settle. "I've made a copy of the original evidence. It's stored in a place you'll never find. If anything happens to me, or if you ever try to recant our arrangement, that evidence will be forwarded to the dean and the faculty review board."
Her throat tightened, but she kept her expression neutral. "I understand."
"Do you? Because this isn't temporary, Tracy. This isn't something you can wait out. The threat is permanent. As long as I'm alive, I own your academic future. And even after I'm gone, the evidence will still exist." He tilted his head. "You'll never be free of this."
She met his eyes. "I know."
Something flickered in his gaze. Satisfaction, maybe. Or approval. "Good. Then you understand what tonight is."
"The end of the term."
"No." He stood and walked around the desk, stopping in front of her. "The beginning of everything else. The term was just training. Now you're ready."
She looked up at him. "Ready for what?"
He reached into his pocket and pulled out a small leather pouch. He loosened the drawstring and tipped the contents into his palm. A silver collar, thin and elegant, with a small lock at the front. The metal gleamed under the office lights.
"This," he said.
Her breath caught. She had seen collars before, in books and movies, but this was different. This was real. This was meant for her.
"Stand up," he said.
She rose slowly, her legs unsteady. He stepped behind her and lifted her hair, draping it over her shoulder. The collar was cool against her skin as he fastened it around her neck. She heard the click of the lock closing.
"The key stays with me," he said, his voice low near her ear. "You don't take this off. Not for showers, not for sleep, not for anything. It's a reminder of what you are."
She touched the collar with her fingertips. It was snug but not tight. A constant presence against her throat.
"What am I?" she whispered.
"Mine."
He turned her to face him and cupped her chin, tilting her head up. "You've done well this semester, Tracy. You've learned to obey without hesitation. You've learned to accept your place. But that was just the foundation. Now we build the real structure."
She swallowed against his grip. "What does that mean?"
"It means you report to me whenever I call. It means you follow every instruction without question. It means everything you are belongs to me. Your body, your time, your future." He released her chin and stepped back. "Undress."
She didn't hesitate. She pulled off her sweater and dropped it on the floor. Her jeans followed. She stood in her bra and underwear, waiting.
"Everything."
She unhooked her bra and slid her panties down her legs. The air was cool against her skin, but she didn't shiver. She had been naked for him before. Many times. But this time felt different. This time felt permanent.
He circled her slowly, examining her like a piece of art. "You're thinner than you were at the start of the term. Less tension in your shoulders. More submission in your stance." He stopped behind her. "I've changed you."
"Yes."
He placed his hand on the back of her neck and guided her toward his desk. "Bend over."
She placed her palms flat on the wood and leaned forward, her back arching. The desk was cold against her stomach. She heard him unbuckling his belt, the slide of his zipper. Her body responded automatically now, a flush of heat spreading through her core.
He didn't rush. He stepped close, his thighs pressing against the backs of her legs. His hand ran down her spine, over the curve of her ass. "You're wet already," he said, his fingers brushing between her legs. "You've learned to want this."
She didn't answer. She didn't need to. They both knew it was true.
His fingers traced along her slit, slick with her arousal, and she shuddered at the contact. He slid one finger inside her, then two, stretching her open with deliberate slowness. She bit her lip to keep from crying out. His thumb found her clit and pressed in slow circles, coaxing her body to respond even more. She could feel herself clenching around his fingers, her hips tilting back toward him without her permission.
"That's it," he murmured. "Your body knows who it belongs to."
He withdrew his fingers and she heard him suck them clean, the wet sound obscene in the quiet office. Then he positioned himself at her entrance and pushed in slowly, filling her inch by inch. She gasped and gripped the edge of the desk. He was thick and hard, and he took his time, letting her feel every moment of his intrusion. She stretched around him, her walls yielding as he buried himself fully inside her.
"This is what you are now," he said, his voice strained. "A hole for me to use. A body I own. A student who traded her future for my silence."
He held himself there, deep and unmoving, letting her feel the full weight of his claim. Then he began to move, long deep strokes that rocked her forward with each thrust. She pressed her forehead against the desk and let him take her. There was no resistance left. No shame. Just the steady rhythm of his possession.
The sound of their bodies meeting filled the office, wet and rhythmic. His hands gripped her hips, fingers digging into her flesh hard enough to leave marks. She knew there would be bruises tomorrow. She didn't care. She wanted them. Wanted the proof that this was real, that she belonged to him in ways no one else would ever see.
"Look at yourself," he said, grabbing a handful of her hair and pulling her head up. A mirror hung on the wall across from the desk, angled so she could see her reflection. Her face was flushed, her mouth open, her eyes glazed. The collar gleamed at her throat.
"That's who you are," he said. "That's who you'll always be."
She watched herself in the mirror as he fucked her harder, faster, his grip on her hip tightening. Her breasts swayed with each thrust, her nipples stiff and aching. The collar caught the light with every movement, a bright reminder pressed against her skin. She moaned, a sound that came from somewhere deep in her chest. Not pain. Not pleasure. Something in between. Something that felt like surrender.
He reached around her body and found her clit again, rubbing in tight circles as he drove into her. The dual sensation was overwhelming, the fullness of him inside her combined with the sharp pleasure at her core. She felt herself building toward something, her thighs trembling, her breath coming in short gasps.
"Don't come until I tell you," he said.
She whimpered, fighting her own body, holding back the wave that threatened to crash over her. He kept thrusting, kept rubbing, kept pushing her closer to the edge and demanding she stop there. It was agony. It was everything.
"Tell me," he said.
"I'm yours."
"Again."
"I'm yours. I'm yours."
"Again."
"I'm yours, Professor. I'm yours."
"Come," he commanded, and she shattered.
The orgasm ripped through her, intense and relentless. She cried out, her body convulsing around him, clenching and releasing in waves. She felt herself gush against him, wetness spreading down her thighs. The pleasure was blinding, consuming, erasing everything but the feeling of him inside her and the collar at her throat.
He came with a low groan, his body pressing against hers, his breath hot on her neck. She felt him pulse inside her, felt the warmth spreading, filling her. His thrusts grew erratic, desperate, as he spent himself completely. He stayed buried inside her, riding out the aftershocks, his weight pressing her into the desk.
She stayed still, bent over, accepting everything he gave her. Her legs were shaking. Her breath was ragged. The collar felt warm now, heated by her skin. She could feel his seed leaking around his softening cock, dripping down her inner thigh. A mark of ownership as real as the collar.
He pulled out slowly and stepped back. She heard him fastening his pants, the click of his belt buckle. She didn't move.
"Clean yourself up," he said. "Then get dressed."
She pushed herself upright and reached for her clothes. Her legs were shaky, but she dressed quickly, efficiently. She could feel his warmth still inside her, could feel the wetness in her underwear as she pulled them up. When she was finished, she stood before him, fully clothed except for the collar.
He sat back down at his desk and picked up his pen. "You'll come to my apartment tomorrow evening. We'll discuss the summer schedule."
"Yes."
"You can go now."
She turned toward the door, then paused. "Professor?"
He looked up.
"Will I ever be free?"
He held her gaze for a long moment. "No," he said. "But you'll learn to stop wanting that."
She nodded and walked out of the office, closing the door behind her. The hallway was empty. She touched the collar again, feeling its weight against her skin. It was real. It was permanent. And somehow, that made everything easier.
She walked down the stairs and out into the cool evening air. The campus was quiet, the buildings dark except for a few lights. She crossed the quad toward her dorm, her steps steady and sure. She was different now. She could feel it in the way she moved, the way she held herself. The panic was gone. The fear was gone. All that remained was acceptance.
She had traded her future for survival. But somewhere along the way, survival had become something else. Something she didn't have words for yet. Something that felt almost like peace.
She touched the collar one more time and smiled. A small, broken smile. But a smile nonetheless.
She was his. And that was all she needed to be.
The semester was over. But her real education had just begun.
