The Rescue Call

The dispatch call came in mid-afternoon. Belinda Rainiere grabbed her kit before the dispatcher finished the address. Station 7. Firefighter down. Possible head injury.

Her partner, Mark, hit the sirens as she settled into the passenger seat. Station 7 was the old brick firehouse on Jefferson, the one with the historic bell tower and the captains everyone whispered about. She'd heard the rumors. Men who ran that house with military precision, each commanding in his own right. She'd never had reason to find out if the gossip was true.

Until now.

The bay doors were open when they pulled in. A cluster of firefighters in turnouts stood near the engine, and at the center of them, a man sat on the floor with blood dripping down his temple. Belinda's training kicked in. She was out of the rig before it fully stopped, her bag in hand, her focus narrowing to the patient.

"Clear a path," she said, her voice carrying the authority she'd earned over six years on the job. The crowd parted. She knelt beside the injured firefighter, a young probie whose name tag read "Martinez." His eyes were glassy but tracking.

"What happened?"

"Ladder slipped," he said. "Caught me on the way down."

She ran her fingers through his hair, finding the wound. A two-inch laceration, superficial but bleeding heavily. Scalp wounds always did. She pulled out a gauze pad and applied pressure.

"I'm going to need you to hold this right here," she said, guiding his hand to the spot. "Keep pressure on it while I check your vitals."

"Yes, ma'am."

She was halfway through taking his blood pressure when the first captain appeared.

He came from inside the bay, his footsteps heavy on the concrete floor. Belinda looked up and forgot to breathe for a second. He was tall, easily over six feet, with broad shoulders that strained the fabric of his navy uniform shirt. Short-cropped dark hair. Steel gray eyes that assessed her with the same clinical precision she used on patients. The badge on his chest read "Stoneark. Captain."

"How is he?" His voice was low, rough, all business.

"Laceration to the scalp. No signs of concussion. Pupils are reactive. He's stable, but he needs stitches and a CT scan to be safe."

Evan Stoneark nodded once. His gaze swept over her, taking in her uniform, her stance, the way her hands moved. Something flickered in his eyes. Approval, maybe. Or just curiosity.

"You're good," he said. It wasn't a compliment. It was an observation.

"I know."

His lips twitched. Almost a smile.

The second captain arrived before she could say anything else. He was shorter than Stoneark, but built like a fighter, all dense muscle and coiled energy. Dark curly hair, golden skin, eyes so brown they were nearly black. He moved with a swagger that screamed confidence. His badge said "Cotswell. Captain."

"Martinez, you're scaring the new guys," he said, his voice warm with a hint of an accent. "Can't have that."

"Sorry, Captain," the probie muttered.

Rayburn Cotswell turned his attention to Belinda. His smile was slow, deliberate, and entirely too charming.

"And who do we have here?" He looked her up and down, not hiding his appreciation. "I don't remember ordering a beautiful paramedic."

"Belinda Rainiere," she said, keeping her tone professional even as heat crept up her neck. "I'm with Metro. You must be Captain Cotswell."

"Rayburn," he corrected. "Captain is for formal occasions. And I have a feeling you and I are going to be very informal."

"That's enough, Cotswell." The third voice came from behind her. She turned to find a man leaning against the engine, arms crossed, a lazy grin on his face. Sandy blond hair, bright blue eyes, dimples that made him look like he'd just told a joke. His badge read "Wisbergh. Captain."

"You're making her uncomfortable," Nate Wisbergh said.

"I'm not making her uncomfortable. I'm being welcoming."

"You're being a flirt."

"I'm being a host."

Belinda bit back a smile. "I'm fine. I've dealt with worse than a little flirting."

Nate's eyebrows shot up. "Oh, I like her."

"Of course you do," Evan muttered.

The probie shifted beneath her hands, and she refocused. "Keep pressure on that," she reminded him. "Mark, can you grab the suture kit?"

Her partner, who had been standing uselessly by the rig, jumped into action. Belinda worked quickly, cleaning the wound, numbing the area, and placing the first stitch. The three captains watched her the entire time. She felt their eyes on her like a physical weight, but she didn't let it shake her. She'd performed procedures in parking lots, in alleys, in the middle of highway accidents. A little audience wasn't going to throw her off.

"Almost done," she said to Martinez. "You're going to have a hell of a scar, but it'll make a good story."

"Can I say I fought a bear?"

"You can say whatever you want. I'm not your PR team."

Rayburn laughed, a rich sound that echoed through the bay. "I like her even more now."

Belinda finished the last stitch and applied a bandage. She helped Martinez to his feet, checked his pupils one more time, and nodded. "You're good for now. But you need to follow up with your doctor. If you get dizzy, if you vomit, if your vision blurs, you go straight to the ER. Understood?"

"Yes, ma'am."

"Good." She packed her kit and stood. The three captains had formed a loose semicircle around her. She felt like she was being evaluated for something, though she wasn't sure what.

"Thank you," Evan said. His voice was gruff, but there was something softer underneath it. "You handled that well."

"It's my job."

"Not everyone does their job that well." He held her gaze for a beat longer than necessary. His gray eyes were unreadable, but she felt a pull, a current of something unspoken.

Rayburn stepped closer. He was near enough that she could smell him, soap and smoke with something warm underneath. "You ever come to Station 7 before?"

"First time."

"Then we've been missing out." His hand brushed her arm, light, casual, but the contact sent a jolt through her. "You should come back. We're having a barbecue next Saturday. Nothing fancy. Just the crew and some good food."

"I don't usually socialize with patients."

"She's not our patient," Nate said, pushing off the engine and joining them. "She's the person who fixed our probie. That makes her a hero. And heroes get invited to barbecues."

"It's a firehouse tradition," Rayburn added. "We feed the people who save our asses."

Belinda looked between them. Evan stood a few feet away, his arms crossed, watching her with that unreadable expression. Rayburn was close, his brown eyes warm and inviting. Nate was grinning, his dimples deep, his posture open and easy.

Three very different men. All of them looking at her like she was something interesting.

She should say no. She had a shift the next day, laundry piling up at home, a dozen excuses ready.

But there was something about the way they looked at her. Like they saw her. Like they wanted to see more.

"Saturday?" she asked.

"Six o'clock," Nate said. "Bring an appetite."

"And nothing else," Rayburn added, his voice dropping. "We'll take care of everything."

Evan shot him a look. "Cotswell."

"I'm being hospitable."

"You're being yourself."

"That's the same thing."

Belinda laughed before she could stop herself. The sound surprised her. She didn't usually laugh around strangers. She didn't usually feel this at ease, this drawn in.

"Okay," she said. "I'll think about it."

"Think fast," Nate said. "We're very persuasive."

"I've noticed."

She picked up her kit and walked toward the rig. Mark was already in the driver's seat, looking at her with raised eyebrows. She ignored him. She could feel the three captains watching her leave. Their gazes were warm on her back, and she had to resist the urge to turn around.

She climbed into the passenger seat and closed the door.

"Okay," Mark said. "What the hell was that?"

"What was what?"

"They were all over you. All three of them. And you were eating it up."

"I was being professional."

"You were being flirted with. By three fire captains. At the same time." He shook his head. "I've never seen anything like it."

Belinda didn't answer. She was thinking about gray eyes and warm smiles and the way Rayburn's hand had felt on her arm. She was thinking about Saturday. About a barbecue. About men who had looked at her like she was the most interesting thing they'd seen all day.

She was thinking about going.

"Drive," she said.

Mark put the rig in gear and pulled away from the station. Belinda watched the firehouse shrink in the side mirror. The three captains were still standing in the bay, watching her go.

She smiled to herself.

Maybe she'd stop by that barbecue after all.

Crossing the Line

The firehouse training room smelled like rubber mats and sweat. Belinda adjusted the straps on her turnout gear, watching Evan, Rayburn, and Nate set up the obstacle course they'd designed for the afternoon's joint training session. Her heart hammered against her ribs, but she kept her expression neutral, professional.

"You sure you're ready for this, Rainiere?" Evan's voice cut through the echo of the cavernous room. He stood with his arms crossed, those steel-gray eyes fixed on her with an intensity that made her stomach flip.

"I've been running drills since before you got your first command, Captain." She shot back, the words coming out sharper than she intended. Something about the way he looked at her made her want to prove herself, to show him she could handle anything he threw at her.

Rayburn laughed, the sound warm and rich. "She's got fire, Evan. I told you."

"Fire's good," Nate added, his blue eyes sparkling with that easy humor. "As long as she knows when to let it burn and when to bank it."

Belinda rolled her shoulders, feeling the weight of their attention like a physical presence. All of them tracking her movements, noting how she adjusted her gear, how she breathed, how she held herself. It should have made her uncomfortable. Instead, it made her feel powerful.

"Let's run the course," she said. "I'll show you what I've got."

The next hour pushed her to her limits. They ran her through a simulated rescue scenario: a victim trapped in a collapsed structure, limited visibility, unstable debris. She had to navigate blind, communicate through her mask, make split-second decisions about weight distribution and support points. Evan watched from the sidelines, calling out adjustments in that gruff, commanding tone. Rayburn worked beside her, his body close in the tight spaces, his warm hand guiding hers when she reached for the wrong support beam. Nate handled the communication, his voice calm and steady in her ear, talking her through the moments when panic threatened to creep in.

By the time they finished, sweat soaked through her uniform. She pulled off her helmet, letting her hair tumble free, and took a long drink from the water bottle Nate handed her.

"Not bad," Evan said, and it sounded like high praise coming from him.

"Not bad?" She wiped her mouth with the back of her hand. "I just completed your obstacle course faster than your last recruit class."

"She's got a point," Rayburn said, moving closer. His hand landed on her shoulder, warm and heavy. "You did good, Belinda. Really good."

The praise hit her in a way she hadn't expected. It wasn't just professional validation. It was something more, something that made her want to lean into his touch, to feel his hand slide down her arm, to see what else those strong fingers could do.

She stepped back, creating space. "Thanks. But I should get cleaned up."

"Wait." Nate's voice stopped her. He moved to stand beside Evan and Rayburn, the three of them forming a line that made her pulse quicken. "We need to talk about something."

"About the barbecue?"

"About what happened at the barbecue," Rayburn corrected. His eyes met hers, and there was no humor there now, only intensity. "About what we all felt."

Belinda's throat went dry. "I don't know what you mean."

"I think you do," Evan said. His tone was softer now, less commanding. "I think you felt it too. The pull between us. All of us."

She wanted to deny it. Every instinct told her to walk away, to protect herself from this complicated, messy thing that was forming between them. But she couldn't. Because he was right. She had felt it. From the moment she'd walked into their firehouse, something had shifted in the air, something electric and undeniable.

"What are you proposing?" She asked, her voice steadier than she felt.

Nate stepped forward. "We've talked about it. The three of us. We've never done anything like this before, but we all feel the same way. We want to explore this. With you. Together."

"A poly arrangement," Rayburn added. "A trial. To see if it works."

Belinda's mind raced. Three men. Three captains. Each one different, each one pulling at her in a way that kept her up at night.

"And if it doesn't work?" She asked.

"Then we go back to being professional colleagues," Evan said. "No hard feelings. No awkwardness."

She laughed, the sound sharp and disbelieving. "You really think that's possible? After everything?"

"No," Rayburn admitted. "But we're willing to try if you are."

She looked at them, really looked at them. Evan, solid and stoic, his gray eyes holding a vulnerability he was trying to hide. Rayburn, passionate and intense, his hands flexing at his sides as if he wanted to reach for her. Nate, warm and open, his dimpled smile softening the tension in the room.

"Okay," she said, the word escaping before she could stop it. "A trial. But I have conditions."

"Name them," Evan said.

"No jealousy. At least not the destructive kind. We talk about everything, even the hard stuff. And we take it slow. I need to know each of you before I can be with all of you."

Nate nodded. "That's fair. More than fair."

"Then let's start tonight," Rayburn said, his voice dropping low. "One on one. So you can get to know us."

Belinda's breath caught. "Tonight?"

"Unless you're not ready," Evan said, and there was a challenge in his voice, a dare that made her straighten her spine.

"I'm ready."

They agreed on a schedule. Rayburn first, then Nate, then Evan. Each of them would have time with her, space to talk, to touch, to explore the boundaries of this new thing they were building. The firehouse would be empty after shift change. They'd have privacy.

Belinda spent the rest of the afternoon in a daze. She went through the motions of her shift, responding to calls, treating patients, but her mind kept drifting back to the training room, to the way their eyes had tracked her, to the promise in their voices.

When shift change came, she found herself standing in the locker room, staring at her reflection in the mirror. Her cheeks were flushed, her eyes bright with anticipation and fear.

"You can do this," she whispered to herself. "You're a grown woman. You can handle this."

A knock on the door made her jump. Rayburn's voice came through, soft and accented. "Belinda? You ready?"

She took a deep breath and opened the door.

He stood there in civilian clothes: a dark button-down shirt, the sleeves rolled up to reveal his muscular forearms, jeans that fit him perfectly. His curly hair was still damp from a shower, and he smelled like soap and something warm, something distinctly him.

"Hey," he said, his smile tentative.

"Hey."

They stood there for a moment, the air between them thick with tension. Then Rayburn reached out, his hand cupping her cheek, and she leaned into his touch like a plant seeking sunlight.

"I've wanted to do this since I first saw you," he murmured. "In the station that day. You were so fierce, so beautiful."

"Rayburn."

"Let me show you," he said. "Let me show you how much I want you."

He kissed her then, slow and deep, his tongue sliding against hers in a rhythm that made her knees weak. His hands moved down her back, pulling her against him, and she felt the hard length of him pressing against her stomach.

"Bedroom," she gasped against his mouth.

He led her to the small bunk room at the end of the hall, one of the private quarters reserved for captains on overnight shifts. The bed was narrow, military neat, but he didn't seem to care. He laid her down on the thin mattress, his body covering hers, his mouth trailing down her neck.

"Tell me what you like," he said, his voice rough. "Tell me what you need."

"I need you to touch me."

His hand slid under her shirt, finding her breast, his thumb circling her nipple until she arched into his touch. He was patient, methodical, learning her body with an attention to detail that made her feel worshipped. He pulled the fabric up and over her head, then unclasped her bra with practiced fingers, baring her to the cool air. His mouth followed where his hands had been, tongue tracing the curve of her breast before closing around her nipple, sucking gently while his hand worked the other, rolling and pinching just hard enough to make her gasp.

"You're so responsive," he murmured against her skin. "I love that."

His free hand drifted down her stomach, fingers tracing the line of her waistband before unbuttoning her pants. He slid them down along with her underwear, his breath catching when he saw her.

"God, Belinda. You're perfect."

When he finally settled between her legs, she was already trembling. His mouth found her center, and he groaned against her skin, the vibration sending shockwaves through her body. He started slow, long strokes of his tongue that teased through her folds, tasting every inch of her. His fingers joined his mouth, one sliding inside her while his tongue circled her clit, building a rhythm that made her hips buck against him.

"You taste incredible," he said, looking up at her, his lips glistening. "I could stay here forever."

"Please," she begged. "Don't stop."

He didn't. He added another finger, curling them inside her, finding that spot that made her see stars while his tongue worked faster, flicking and sucking. He brought her to the edge, then pulled back, letting her hover there, desperate and keening. Then he pushed her again, harder this time, his fingers thrusting deep while his mouth devoured her, until she was crying out, her hands fisted in his hair, her body shuddering with a release that seemed to go on forever.

He worked her through it, his tongue gentling as the aftershocks rippled through her, pressing soft kisses to her inner thighs while she caught her breath.

Afterward, he held her, his arm draped over her waist, his breath warm against her neck.

"That was just the beginning," he whispered. "Nate's next. He's different from me. Slower. More tender. Let him show you what he does."

Belinda nodded, too spent to speak. But when he left, she felt a pang of loss, a hunger for more.

Nate came to her twenty minutes later. He was softer than Rayburn, his touch gentle, his kisses light. He didn't rush. He took his time, exploring her body with his hands and his mouth, asking her questions about what she liked, what she wanted, what she'd never tried but was curious about.

"I want to taste you," he said, his blue eyes dark with desire. "Everywhere."

He did. He kissed her ankles, her knees, the inside of her thighs. He licked a path up her stomach, over her ribs, down her arms. By the time he reached her mouth, she was shaking, desperate for him.

"Please, Nate."

"Tell me what you need," he whispered, his lips brushing her ear. "I want to make this perfect for you."

"I need you inside me."

He smiled, that dimpled smile that made her chest ache, and reached for his belt. He undressed slowly, letting her watch, letting her take in the lean lines of his body, the defined muscles, the way his cock stood hard and ready against his stomach.

He rolled on a condom and positioned himself between her legs, the head of him pressing against her entrance. He entered her slowly, filling her inch by inch, watching her face as he moved inside her. His rhythm was steady, building gradually, each thrust deeper than the last. His thumb found her clit, circling in time with his movements, and she felt the pressure building again, different from Rayburn, slower, a wave gathering strength.

"You feel so good," he breathed, his forehead pressed against hers. "So warm, so tight."

"Faster," she whispered. "Please."

He obeyed, his pace quickening, his hips snapping against hers while his thumb kept its relentless rhythm. When she came, it was a slow, rolling wave that left her gasping, her nails digging into his shoulders. He followed her over, his own release hitting him with a groan that he buried against her neck.

"Beautiful," he murmured, kissing her forehead. "Absolutely beautiful."

Then it was Evan's turn.

He was waiting outside the door when Nate left, his expression unreadable. He didn't speak. He simply took her hand and led her back to the bunk room, closing the door behind them.

"This is different," he said, his voice low. "With me, it's different."

"I know."

He didn't kiss her first. He undressed her, slowly, deliberately, his gray eyes taking in every inch of her body. His hands were rougher than the others, calloused from years of work, and they left trails of heat everywhere they touched. Then he undressed himself, and she saw the scars, the muscles, the power he held in that broad frame. His cock was thick, heavier than the others, already hard and jutting from his body.

"Turn around," he said.

She obeyed, her heart pounding. His hands settled on her hips, and he pressed against her from behind, his cock sliding against her wetness, teasing her entrance without pushing in.

"You're so ready for me," he growled. "Tell me you want this."

"I want this. I want you."

He bent her forward over the narrow bed, one hand pressing between her shoulder blades to hold her down. The other guided himself to her entrance, and he pushed inside her with one long, slow thrust that made her cry out. He was bigger than the others, thicker, and he filled her completely, stretching her in ways she hadn't expected.

He held still for a moment, letting her adjust, his breath ragged in her ear. Then he started to move, his pace hard, relentless, his hand gripping her hip while the other tangled in her hair, pulling her head back. The sound of their bodies meeting filled the small room, skin against skin, wet and urgent.

"You feel incredible," he said, his voice strained. "So tight around me."

"Harder," she gasped. "Please, Evan, harder."

He gave her what she asked for, his thrusts deepening, his grip tightening. His hand released her hair and slid around her body, fingers finding her clit, rubbing in tight circles that matched the rhythm of his hips. She felt the orgasm building, pressure coiling low in her belly, spreading outward.

"You're ours now," he said, his voice ragged. "All ours."

She came with a scream, her body clenching around him, and the sensation pushed him over the edge. He followed moments later, his release hot and deep, his groan vibrating through her body as he spilled inside her.

He didn't pull away immediately. He stayed there, his chest pressed against her back, his heart hammering against her spine. Then he withdrew slowly and turned her around, kissing her for the first time, soft and almost reverent.

When it was over, they lay tangled together, all of them having returned, their bodies pressed against hers in the narrow bed. Belinda felt their heartbeats, steady and strong, and she realized that something had shifted inside her. Something permanent.

"So," she said, her voice hoarse. "Trial's going well."

Nate laughed, the sound vibrating through her. "I'd say so."

Rayburn kissed her shoulder. "This is just the beginning."

Evan's arm tightened around her waist. "Tomorrow, we start figuring out how to make this work. Schedules, boundaries, all of it."

Belinda nodded, a smile spreading across her face. For the first time in years, she felt like she was exactly where she was supposed to be.

Shifting Schedules

The third time Belinda checked her phone during a single coffee run, she knew she had a problem. Three text messages waited, each from a different captain, each asking about her evening plans. She leaned against the counter of the corner café and stared at the screen, her thumb hovering over the keyboard.

Evan: Shift ends at six. Dinner at my place? I'll cook.

Rayburn: Mi reina, I have tickets to that jazz club you mentioned. Tonight?

Nate: Hey! Found a new hiking trail. Sunset hike? Then pizza?

She let out a breath that was half laugh, half groan. The trial arrangement had been going for exactly six days, and already the logistics were threatening to overwhelm her. She typed responses to each of them, polite and carefully noncommittal, and pressed send before she could second-guess herself.

The week had been a whirlwind. Monday night with Evan, where he'd made her dinner and they'd talked for hours about nothing and everything. Tuesday with Rayburn, who had taken her to a late dinner and kissed her so thoroughly in the parking lot that she'd nearly suggested they skip the meal entirely. Wednesday with Nate, who had shown up at her apartment with takeout and a board game and made her laugh until her stomach hurt.

But Thursday had been the problem. Thursday, when all three of them had been off shift and she'd tried to split her evening between them. She'd had dinner with Evan through the early evening, drinks with Rayburn after that, and a late-night walk with Nate until she could barely keep her eyes open. By the time she'd collapsed into bed, she'd felt stretched thin, like a rubber band pulled too many directions at once.

And then there was the jealousy.

It had snuck up on her during a call on Friday afternoon. She'd been treating a minor burn victim at a residential fire when she'd seen Rayburn talking to a female paramedic from another station. They'd been standing close, laughing at something, and Belinda's chest had tightened with a heat that had nothing to do with the smoldering building behind them.

She'd pushed it down, focused on her patient, finished the call. But the feeling had lingered, a sour taste in the back of her throat that she couldn't quite swallow.

Now, standing in the café, she realized she was going to have to address it. The question was how.

The firehouse was quiet when she arrived, the afternoon lull settling over the station like a warm blanket. She'd been called in for a minor injury report, a follow-up on a patient she'd treated earlier in the week. But as she walked through the bay, she saw all three of them standing near the engine, their heads bent together in conversation.

Evan looked up first, his gray eyes finding her across the space. His expression softened, a small smile tugging at the corner of his mouth. Rayburn followed his gaze, his dark eyes lighting up with that familiar intensity. Nate turned last, his blue eyes brightening as he raised a hand in greeting.

"Belinda," Evan said, his voice carrying across the bay. "Didn't expect to see you today."

"Paperwork," she said, holding up the folder in her hand. "Follow-up on the Johnson call."

Rayburn stepped forward, his movements fluid and confident. "We were just talking about you."

"All good things, I hope." She tried to keep her voice light, but the edge of jealousy still clung to her words.

Nate caught it first. His brow furrowed slightly, and he exchanged a glance with Evan before speaking. "Everything okay? You seem a little off."

She hesitated. The bay was empty, the other firefighters out on a call or in the bunk room. It was as private a space as they were going to get. She set the folder down on a nearby table and crossed her arms over her chest.

"Can we talk? All of us?"

Evan nodded, his expression shifting to something more serious. "Of course. Let's go to the office."

They filed into the small office off the main bay, the space feeling suddenly cramped with all four of them inside. Evan closed the door behind them, and Rayburn leaned against the desk, his arms crossed. Nate stood near the window, his hands in his pockets.

Belinda took a breath. "I saw you yesterday," she said, looking at Rayburn. "At the fire on Maple Street. You were talking to that paramedic from Station 7."

Rayburn's brow furrowed. "Maya? She's a friend. We trained together years ago."

"I know." Belinda's voice came out smaller than she'd intended. "I know it's nothing. But I felt something. Jealousy. And I hate that I felt it."

The admission hung in the air between them. Evan was the first to move, stepping closer to her, his hand reaching out to touch her arm.

"Belinda, you don't have to apologize for how you feel."

"But I agreed to this," she said, gesturing between the three of them. "I agreed to share. And I'm already failing at it."

Nate stepped forward, his voice gentle. "You're not failing. You're adjusting. There's a difference."

Rayburn pushed off from the desk, his expression softening. "Mi reina, if I had known you were watching, I would have introduced you. I would have shown you that she's just a friend. Nothing more."

"I know that now," Belinda said. "But in the moment, all I could think was that I wasn't enough. That I was competing for attention I shouldn't have to compete for."

Evan's hand moved from her arm to her shoulder, his touch grounding her. "You're not competing. That's not how this works. We're all in this together. You, me, Rayburn, Nate. There's no hierarchy. No favorites."

"But there are schedules," Nate said, a hint of humor in his voice. "And apparently, we need to do a better job of coordinating them."

Belinda let out a small laugh, the tension in her chest easing slightly. "I tried to split myself three ways last night. It didn't work."

Rayburn moved closer, his hand finding her other shoulder. "You don't have to split yourself. You just have to be yourself. And we'll figure out the rest."

Nate stepped in, completing the circle around her. "We're not going anywhere, Belinda. This is new for all of us. We're going to make mistakes. But we talk about them. We work through them. Together."

She looked at each of them in turn, seeing the sincerity in their eyes. Evan's steady gaze, Rayburn's intense warmth, Nate's open kindness. They were all here, all present, all willing to fight for this.

"Okay," she said softly. "Okay."

The moment stretched between them, charged with something that wasn't quite tension and wasn't quite relief. It was something in between, a new energy that hummed through the small office.

Evan broke the silence first. "We're all on shift together tonight. Last call was an hour ago. We've got some time."

Rayburn's eyes darkened, his hand sliding from her shoulder down her arm. "The locker room is empty."

Nate grinned, that familiar spark lighting up his blue eyes. "I like where this is going."

Belinda's heart kicked against her ribs. The jealousy was still there, a faint echo in the back of her mind. But it was being drowned out by something else now. Something that felt like belonging.

"Show me," she said, her voice steady.

They moved together, a coordinated unit that spoke to years of working side by side. Evan led the way, his hand on the small of her back. Rayburn flanked her left, his fingers brushing against hers. Nate brought up the rear, his presence a warm weight at her back.

The locker room was a long, narrow space lined with metal lockers and wooden benches. The fluorescent lights hummed overhead, casting a clinical glow over everything. But it felt anything but clinical as Evan closed the door behind them and the lock clicked into place.

Belinda turned to face them, her back against the lockers. The cool metal pressed through her uniform shirt, a sharp contrast to the heat building inside her.

"Tell me what you need," Evan said, his voice low.

She thought about it. The jealousy, the insecurity, the fear that she wasn't enough. She needed to feel claimed. She needed to feel like she was the center of their world, not just a piece of a puzzle they were trying to fit together.

"I need to feel like I belong," she said. "To all of you. At the same time."

Rayburn stepped forward first, his hands coming up to cup her face. "You do belong. You're ours, Belinda. And we're yours."

He kissed her, deep and slow, his tongue sliding against hers with practiced ease. His hands moved from her face to her hair, tugging gently at the strands. She melted into him, her hands finding his chest, feeling the steady thrum of his heartbeat beneath her palms.

When he pulled back, Evan was there, his mouth claiming hers with a different kind of intensity. Where Rayburn was heat, Evan was steel. His kiss was firm, commanding, leaving no room for doubt. His hands gripped her hips, pulling her against him, letting her feel the hard length of his arousal through his uniform pants.

Nate's turn came last, and his kiss was the gentlest of the three. Soft, exploratory, full of promise. His hands found her waist, his thumbs tracing circles against her hips. When he pulled back, his eyes were dark with desire.

"Better?" he asked.

She nodded, her breath coming in short gasps. "Better."

Evan's hands moved to the buttons of her uniform shirt, working them open with practiced efficiency. "We're going to take care of you tonight. All of us. Together."

The shirt fell open, revealing the simple black bra beneath. Rayburn's breath caught, his hands reaching out to trace the lace edge.

"Beautiful," he murmured.

Nate moved behind her, his hands finding the clasp of her bra. "May I?"

She nodded, and the bra fell away, her breasts freed into the cool air of the locker room. She shivered, but not from the cold.

Evan dropped to his knees in front of her, his hands sliding up her thighs. His eyes met hers, a question in their gray depths. She answered by spreading her legs slightly, giving him access.

He unfastened her pants, pulling them down her legs along with her panties. She stepped out of them, now completely naked while the three of them remained fully clothed. The power dynamic sent a thrill through her.

"Lie down," Evan said, gesturing to the bench against the wall.

She obeyed, the cool wood pressing against her back. Rayburn and Nate positioned themselves on either side of her, their hands tracing paths across her skin. Evan remained at her feet, his hands spreading her thighs apart.

"Tell us if it's too much," Evan said, his voice rough.

She shook her head. "I want all of you."

Rayburn leaned down, his mouth finding her nipple. He sucked gently, his tongue circling the sensitive peak while his hand came up to knead her other breast. Nate's fingers traced down her stomach, feather-light touches that made her muscles flutter. His hand slid lower, finding the wet heat between her legs.

She gasped, her hips bucking against his touch. Evan watched from his position at her feet, his eyes dark with hunger as Nate's fingers slid through her slick folds.

"You're so responsive," Nate said, his fingers finding her clit and circling it with just the right pressure. "So wet for us."

"Always," she breathed. "Always for you."

Rayburn switched to her other breast, his teeth grazing the nipple before his tongue soothed the sting. His hand rolled her abandoned nipple between his fingers, keeping both peaks stimulated. Nate's fingers worked her clit in tight circles while he slid two fingers inside her, pumping slowly. Evan leaned forward, his mouth pressing kisses to the inside of her thigh, his stubble scraping against her sensitive skin.

She was drowning in sensation, hands and mouths working in perfect harmony. Every time she thought she might come, they pulled back, keeping her on the edge. The pleasure built and receded like waves, each crest higher than the last.

"Please," she begged. "Please, I need..."

Evan looked up, meeting her eyes. "What do you need, Belinda?"

"You. All of you. Inside me."

They moved together, shedding their clothes with practiced efficiency. Belinda watched through half-lidded eyes as their bodies were revealed. Evan's broad chest, dusted with gray hair. Rayburn's lean, muscled torso, his skin golden brown. Nate's athletic build, his cock hard and flushed against his stomach.

Evan positioned himself between her legs, his cock pressing against her entrance. Rayburn leaned over her, his mouth capturing hers in a deep kiss while his hand found her breast. Nate moved behind her, his hands cupping her breasts from behind, his thumbs rolling her nipples.

Evan entered her in one smooth thrust, filling her completely. She cried out against Rayburn's mouth, her body arching off the bench. Evan stayed still, giving her time to adjust to the thick length stretching her.

"You feel incredible," he said, his voice strained.

"Move," she begged. "Please move."

He began to thrust, slow and deep, each stroke hitting that perfect spot inside her. Rayburn's hand found her clit, rubbing in time with Evan's movements. Nate's mouth was on her neck, sucking marks into her skin while his hands continued to play with her nipples.

The dual sensation of Evan inside her and Rayburn's fingers on her clit was overwhelming. She could feel her orgasm building, coiling tighter with each thrust. Evan's pace increased, his hips snapping against hers with more force.

"That's it," Rayburn murmured against her ear. "Take him. Feel how good he fills you."

She was surrounded, consumed, claimed. The jealousy that had plagued her earlier was gone, replaced by this overwhelming sense of belonging. She was theirs, and they were hers.

"I'm close," she gasped. "I'm so close."

"Come for us," Evan said, his pace increasing. "Come for your captains."

The words pushed her over the edge. She came with a cry, her body shuddering around Evan's cock, her inner walls clenching and releasing in waves. He followed moments later, his own release triggering a second wave of pleasure that left her breathless. She felt him pulse inside her, his warmth filling her as he groaned her name.

Rayburn and Nate were still hard, their bodies pressed against hers. Evan pulled out, his hand moving to stroke Rayburn's cock.

"Your turn," he said.

Rayburn positioned himself between her legs, his dark eyes meeting hers. "Ready, mi reina?"

She nodded, and he entered her with a groan. His pace was faster than Evan's, more urgent. His hands gripped her hips, pulling her against him with each thrust. She could feel her own wetness and Evan's release slicking his cock as he drove into her.

Nate moved behind her, his cock pressing against her lips. She opened for him, taking him into her mouth as Rayburn fucked her. The dual sensations pushed her toward another orgasm, her body responding to their rhythm. She sucked Nate's cock, her tongue swirling around the head while Rayburn's thrusts rocked her body.

"Fuck, your mouth," Nate groaned, his hand tangling in her hair.

Rayburn's pace became erratic, his breathing harsh. "I'm going to come, Belinda. Come with me."

His fingers found her clit again, rubbing in tight circles. The sensation was too much, and she came again, her body clenching around him. Rayburn came first, his body shuddering as he spilled inside her. Nate followed, his release hitting the back of her throat as she swallowed him down.

They collapsed together in a tangle of limbs and sweat, the locker room echoing with their heavy breathing. Belinda lay in the center, her body still trembling with aftershocks.

Evan's hand found hers, squeezing gently. "Better?"

She laughed, a sound that was half exhausted, half euphoric. "Much better."

Rayburn pressed a kiss to her shoulder. "No more jealousy?"

"I think I'm cured," she said. "For now, at least."

Nate grinned, his blue eyes bright. "We'll just have to keep reminding you."

She looked at each of them in turn, these three men who had somehow become her whole world. The jealousy wasn't gone completely. She knew it would surface again, that insecurity was too deeply ingrained to disappear overnight. But now she knew how to fight it. Together.

"I love this," she said softly. "Whatever this is. I love it."

Evan pulled her closer, his arms wrapping around her. "So do we."

The fluorescent lights hummed overhead, casting their shadows across the locker room floor. Outside, the firehouse was quiet, the evening settling in around them. But inside this small space, four people had found something worth fighting for.

And Belinda knew, with a certainty that settled deep in her bones, that she would never be alone again.

Bonding Through Fire

The alarm shattered the quiet of the firehouse kitchen, a sound Belinda had heard countless times from the other end of a radio but never standing in the middle of it. She'd been reaching for a bottle of water when the tones dropped, and she watched the men she'd been falling for transform in the space of a heartbeat.

Evan's jaw tightened as he read the dispatch screen, his relaxed posture vanishing like smoke. Rayburn was already shrugging into his turnout gear, the easy warmth in his brown eyes replaced by razor focus. Nate grabbed his helmet from the hook and shot her a glance, something unreadable flickering behind those blue irises before he locked it away.

"Structure fire, two civilians trapped," Evan announced. "Belinda, you're riding with us. Ambulance is en route but we need medical on scene immediately."

She didn't hesitate. Her paramedic bag was always in her truck. "I'm ready."

The ride to the scene blurred into a kaleidoscope of sirens and tense silence. Belinda sat in the back of the engine, her pulse hammering against her ribs. This was nothing like responding to calls alone in her ambulance. This was personal. The men she cared about were heading into danger, and there wasn't a single thing she could do to protect them.

The building was a three-story apartment complex, thick black smoke pouring from the second floor windows like poison from a wound. Flames gnawed at the roof's edge. Tenants huddled on the lawn, some sobbing, others pointing up at the windows where a woman's voice pierced the chaos, screaming for help.

"Two adults on the second floor, rear apartment," the incident commander shouted as they jumped off the rig. "Elderly couple. Can't get down the stairs."

Evan was already moving, his voice cutting through the pandemonium as he assigned positions. "Rayburn, you're with me on primary search. Nate, establish water supply and backup. Belinda, stay with the ambulance crew and be ready for triage."

She wanted to argue. She wanted to follow them inside. But she knew her role. She watched them disappear into the smoke, her chest so tight she could barely draw breath.

The next ten minutes stretched into an eternity. She treated a young firefighter for smoke inhalation, checked vitals on a tenant who'd jumped from a first floor window, and all the while her gaze kept snapping back to the building's entrance, waiting.

Then the radio crackled. "Mayday, Mayday, we've got a partial collapse on the second floor. Captain Stoneark and Captain Cotswell are trapped in the rear hallway."

The world went silent. Belinda's hands went numb. She heard Nate's voice over the radio, calm and controlled, calling for the RIT team to deploy. She saw him moving toward the building, his face set in grim determination.

She couldn't stay back. She grabbed her bag and ran, ignoring the shouts from the incident commander. She followed Nate inside, the heat slamming into her like a physical wall, smoke stinging her eyes until tears streamed down her cheeks. The stairs were unstable but she climbed them anyway, her heart screaming Evan's name, Rayburn's name, over and over like a prayer.

She found them in the hallway, pinned by a fallen beam. Evan was shielding Rayburn with his body, his back taking the brunt of the debris. Rayburn was trying to lift the beam, his face red with effort. They were alive. Thank God, they were alive.

"Belinda, get back!" Evan coughed, his eyes wild when he saw her.

"Not a chance." She dropped to her knees beside them, assessing the situation. The beam was across Evan's legs, pinning him, but Rayburn was mostly free. "Nate's coming with the RIT team. Hold on."

She grabbed Rayburn's hand, squeezed it hard. "You're okay. You're both okay. Just hold on."

Nate appeared through the smoke with two other firefighters, a hydraulic spreader in hand. They worked in perfect sync, lifting the beam, pulling Evan free. Belinda was there in an instant, checking his legs, finding them bruised but not broken. Rayburn was coughing but conscious, his gaze locked on hers.

"You shouldn't be in here," Evan growled as they helped him down the stairs.

"And you shouldn't be trapped under a beam," she shot back, her voice shaking. "So I'd say we're even."

Outside, the fire was contained. The elderly couple had been rescued from a balcony by another crew. Everyone was alive. But Belinda couldn't stop trembling as she checked Evan's vitals, as she ran her hands over Rayburn's ribs, as she let Nate pull her into a hug that lasted a full minute.

Back at the firehouse, the adrenaline crash hit hard. They sat in the quiet of the captain's office, the door closed, the world outside muted. Evan was on the couch, his legs propped up. Rayburn was pacing, his hands still shaking. Nate sat beside Belinda, his arm around her shoulders.

"I thought I lost you," Belinda whispered, the words escaping before she could stop them. "When the mayday came in, I thought..."

Evan's hand found hers, squeezed. "We're here. We're fine."

"But you weren't. You were trapped and I couldn't do anything." She looked at each of them, her eyes wet. "I can't do this. I can't lose you."

Rayburn stopped pacing, knelt in front of her. "You won't. We're not going anywhere, hermosa."

Nate pressed a kiss to her temple. "We're a team. All of us. That means we look out for each other."

Evan pulled her closer, his voice rough. "You came after us. That's not nothing. That's everything."

Something shifted in the room. The fear, the relief, the love that was still too new to name, it all swirled together into something electric. Belinda looked at Evan, at Rayburn, at Nate, and saw the same need reflected back at her. The need to feel alive. To feel connected. To remind each other that they had survived.

"I need you," she said, her voice steady now. "All of you. Right now."

Evan's eyes darkened. He looked at Rayburn, then Nate, a silent conversation passing between them. Then he stood, wincing slightly, and offered her his hand. "Our quarters. Now."

She took it without hesitation.

The room was sparse, a bed and a dresser and the lingering smell of smoke. But it was theirs, private, safe. Evan closed the door and locked it, then turned to face her with an intensity that made her breath catch.

"Tonight is about you," he said, his voice low and commanding. "You came for us. You risked yourself. Now we're going to take care of you."

Rayburn stepped behind her, his hands settling on her hips. "Let us worship you, Belinda. Let us show you what you mean to us."

Nate moved to her front, his fingers tracing her jawline. "Just relax. Trust us."

She nodded, her pulse racing. "I trust you."

They undressed her slowly, reverently. Evan unbuttoned her uniform shirt while Rayburn unzipped her pants, their hands brushing her skin with deliberate care. Nate pulled her hair from its ponytail, letting it fall around her shoulders. By the time she was naked, she was trembling with anticipation, not from cold but from the weight of their attention.

Evan guided her to the bed, laying her down on the cool sheets. Rayburn and Nate positioned themselves on either side, their bodies bracketing hers. Evan stood at the foot of the bed, still in his uniform, his gaze burning as he looked at her.

"You're beautiful," he said, his voice rough. "And you're ours."

Rayburn leaned down, his lips brushing her ear. "Tonight, we take care of you. You don't do anything. Just feel."

Nate kissed her neck, soft and slow. "Let us love you, Belinda."

Then they began.

Rayburn took her mouth first, a deep, consuming kiss that tasted of smoke and need. His hands roamed her body, tracing her curves, her scars, the places that made her gasp. Nate worked her neck and collarbone, his lips and tongue leaving a trail of fire. Evan watched, his hands on his belt, his gaze never leaving her face.

"Tell me what you want," Evan said, his voice a growl.

"You," she breathed. "All of you. I want to feel you."

That was all the permission they needed.

Rayburn moved lower, his mouth trailing down her sternum, her stomach, pausing at her navel. Nate took her hand, guiding it to his chest, letting her feel his heartbeat under her palm. Evan finally shed his uniform, revealing the hard lines of his body, the bruises forming on his legs from the beam.

Belinda reached for him, her fingers brushing his thigh. "You're hurt."

"I don't care." He knelt on the bed, his body hovering over hers. "I need to be inside you. I need to feel you."

Rayburn's mouth found her breast, his tongue circling her nipple while his hand slid down her stomach, between her legs. She arched into his touch, a moan escaping her lips. Nate kissed her other breast, his teeth grazing gently, sending sparks through her body.

Evan positioned himself at her entrance, his eyes locked on hers. "You're sure?"

"Yes. Please, Evan."

He entered her in one slow, thick push, filling her completely. She cried out, her hands gripping Rayburn's shoulders, Nate's hair. Evan stayed still for a moment, letting her adjust, his forehead pressed to hers.

"So tight," he muttered. "So perfect."

Then he began to move, a steady rhythm that built heat in her core. Rayburn's fingers found her clit, circling in time with Evan's thrusts. Nate kissed her, swallowed her moans, his hand cupping her breast, his thumb flicking her nipple.

She was surrounded, consumed, every nerve ending alive with sensation. Evan's hips slapped against hers, his breathing ragged. Rayburn's mouth worked her neck, her ear, whispering Spanish endearments she didn't need to translate. Nate's eyes never left hers, his gaze full of wonder and love.

"Close," she gasped. "I'm so close."

"Come for us," Evan commanded, his voice breaking. "Let go, Belinda. We've got you."

She shattered, her body arching, her cry swallowed by Nate's kiss. Evan followed moments later, his hips stuttering, his groan muffled against her shoulder. They collapsed together, breathing hard, sweat slicking their skin.

But it wasn't over.

Rayburn pulled her up, positioned her on her hands and knees. "My turn, hermosa." He slid into her from behind, deeper than Evan had been, hitting a spot that made her see stars. Nate knelt in front of her, his cock hard, his hand gentle as he guided her mouth to him.

She took him in, her lips stretching around his girth, her tongue tracing the vein along his length. Rayburn thrust behind her, steady and deep, his hands gripping her hips. Evan watched from the side, his hand stroking her hair, his eyes dark with satisfaction.

"You're doing so well," Nate breathed, his fingers tangled in her hair. "So beautiful like this."

Rayburn reached around, his fingers finding her clit again, rubbing in circles that matched his pace. The dual stimulation was overwhelming, pleasure building again, faster this time. She moaned around Nate's cock, the vibration making him groan.

"I'm going to come," Nate warned. "Belinda, I'm going to..."

She sucked harder, deeper, wanting to give him that release. He came with a shudder, his hand tightening in her hair, his cry filling the room. She swallowed, her own climax building again under Rayburn's relentless rhythm.

"Come with me," Rayburn growled, his accent thick. "Come on my cock, Belinda."

She did, her body convulsing around him, her scream muffled against Nate's thigh. Rayburn followed, his hips driving deep, his groan a prayer. He collapsed beside her, pulling her into his arms, his chest heaving.

Evan gathered them together, arranging limbs and blankets until they were a tangle of bodies. Belinda lay in the center, her head on Evan's chest, Rayburn's arm around her waist, Nate's hand in hers. The room smelled of sex and smoke and sweat, but underneath it all, there was something new. Something solid.

"I love you," she whispered, the words slipping out before she could think. She tensed, afraid she'd moved too fast, said too much.

But Evan's arm tightened around her. "I love you too."

Rayburn pressed a kiss to her shoulder. "Te amo, Belinda."

Nate squeezed her hand. "Love you. All of you."

She closed her eyes, tears slipping down her cheeks. Not from sadness, but from the overwhelming relief of being held, being wanted, being loved by three men who had nearly been taken from her.

"We're going to be okay," Evan said, his voice a low rumble. "All of us. Together."

Belinda believed him.

Jealousy to Unity

The text came through while I was refilling my coffee mug at the station. A number I hadn't seen in two years, but I recognized it instantly. Marco. My ex. The one who'd told me I was "too independent" and "emotionally unavailable" before walking out.

"Hey Belinda. I know it's been a while. I'm back in town. Would love to catch up if you're open to it. I've changed. Miss you."

I stared at the screen, my stomach dropping. The mug slipped from my fingers, shattering on the tile floor.

"Belinda?" Evan's voice cut through the fog. He was at my side in seconds, his hand on my elbow. "You okay?"

"Yeah, fine. Just clumsy." I bent to pick up the pieces, but he stopped me.

"Don't. I'll get the broom." His gray eyes searched my face. "You're pale. What happened?"

"Nothing. Really." I forced a smile that probably looked more like a grimace.

Rayburn appeared from the apparatus bay, his dark curls damp with sweat. "What's the commotion? I heard breaking glass." He saw my face and his expression shifted. "Mi vida, what's wrong?"

Nate emerged from the office, phone in hand. "Everything good out here?" He took in the scene and pocketed his device. "Belinda? You look like you've seen a ghost."

All of them looking at me now. These men who'd seen me at my most vulnerable, who'd held me through the aftermath of that near-miss rescue, who'd made me feel more wanted than I'd ever thought possible. And now this.

I held up my phone. "My ex. He texted."

The silence that followed was heavy. Evan's jaw tightened. Rayburn's warm brown eyes went cold. Even Nate's easy smile faded.

"What did he want?" Evan's voice was measured, controlled.

"To catch up. Said he's changed. Misses me." I laughed, but it came out bitter. "Two years and he decides now's the time."

Rayburn moved closer, his palm pressing warm against my lower back. "And what do you want?"

That was the question, wasn't it? Part of me was curious. Marco had been my first serious relationship. We'd been together for three years before he ended it. He'd said I was too focused on my career, too guarded, too much. The same things I'd always feared were true.

But I'd changed too. These men had changed me.

"I don't know," I admitted. "I thought I was over him. But seeing his name..."

Nate stepped forward, his blue eyes soft. "That's normal, Soph. He was a big part of your life. Makes sense it would stir things up."

Evan crossed his arms. "What are you thinking of doing?"

"Maybe meeting him? Just to see." The words came out before I could stop them. I saw Evan's expression harden and quickly added, "Not like that. Just to get closure. To prove to myself I'm over it."

Rayburn's hand stilled on my back. "You don't need to prove anything to us. Or to him."

"I know. But I need to prove it to myself." I looked at each of them. "This thing we have, it's still new. And part of me keeps waiting for the other shoe to drop. For one of you to realize this is too much, that I'm too much."

Evan's face softened. He stepped forward and cupped my cheek. "Belinda, we're not going anywhere. But I understand the fear." He glanced at Rayburn and Nate. "Maybe we need some time away. Just the four of us. To talk, to reconnect."

Nate nodded. "My family's got a cabin upstate. It's quiet, private. We could leave Friday after shift."

Rayburn's fingers squeezed my waist. "A weekend in the woods. Fresh air, hiking, maybe a lake swim. And plenty of time to remind you exactly where you belong."

The possessiveness in his voice sent a shiver through me. Not fear. Anticipation.

I looked at my phone again. Marco's message still glowed on the screen. "Okay. Let's do it. But I need to reply to him first. Tell him I'm not interested."

Evan's hand found mine. "We'll do it together."

I typed out a quick message. "Marco, I'm glad you're doing well, but I've moved on. Please don't contact me again. Best, Belinda."

I showed it to them before sending. Evan nodded. Rayburn smiled. Nate squeezed my shoulder.

"Proud of you," Nate said.

I hit send. The phone went back in my pocket. And for the first time since seeing his name, I felt light.

The cabin was everything Nate had promised. A rustic log structure nestled in a valley of maples and pines, their leaves just beginning to turn gold and crimson. A wraparound porch with rocking chairs. A stone fire pit in the backyard. And a hot tub on the deck, steam rising into the cool October air.

We arrived Friday evening, the drive up filled with my favorite playlist and their hands finding mine at every opportunity. By the time we pulled into the gravel driveway, the tension I'd been carrying all week had begun to dissolve.

Saturday morning, we hiked a trail that wound along a creek, the water rushing over smooth stones. Evan led the way, his long legs eating up the distance. Rayburn walked beside me, pointing out bird nests and mushroom clusters. Nate brought up the rear, cracking jokes about bear encounters.

We stopped at a clearing where the creek widened into a deep pool. The water was crystal clear, reflecting the blue sky above.

"Who's swimming?" Nate asked, already pulling off his shirt.

"It's October," I said, laughing.

"Best time. The water's crisp. Wakes you up." He stripped down to his boxers and dove in, letting out a whoop as he surfaced. "It's perfect! Come on!"

Evan shook his head, but he was smiling. He unbuttoned his flannel and stepped out of his jeans, his muscular body pale in the autumn sunlight. He waded in slowly, his breath catching at the cold.

Rayburn turned to me, his dark eyes warm. "You coming, mi vida?"

I looked at the water, then at him. "Only if you carry me."

He laughed and scooped me up, cradling me against his chest as he walked into the water. The cold hit me like a shock, and I gasped, clinging to his neck. He lowered me slowly, letting me adjust, his body a furnace against the chill.

Evan swam over, his palm pressing flat against my waist. Nate appeared on my other side, his blue eyes bright with joy. We floated together, the current gentle around us, their bodies keeping me warm.

"This is nice," I said, my teeth chattering.

"Told you," Nate said. "Nothing like a cold swim to clear the head."

After we'd had enough, we built a fire in the pit and sat wrapped in blankets, drinking hot coffee from thermoses. The conversation drifted to the topic I'd been avoiding.

"So," Evan began, his voice careful. "The ex. You said you needed closure. Do you feel like you got it?"

I stared into the flames. "I think so. Sending that message felt good. Like I was choosing this." I gestured at the three of them. "Choosing you."

"But?" Rayburn pressed.

"But there's still this voice in my head that says it's too good to be true. That eventually one of you will realize you want something simpler. A normal relationship."

Nate reached over and took my hand. "Soph, there's nothing normal about what we do. But that's what makes it special. We're all choosing this, every day. Including you."

Evan nodded. "I spent my whole life thinking I needed to be in control. That letting people in was weakness. You showed me different."

Rayburn's voice was low, intense. "I've never felt this way about anyone. The way you make me feel, the way you let me see you. It's not going anywhere."

Tears pricked my eyes. "I don't deserve you."

"Bullshit," Evan said firmly. "You deserve everything. And we're going to spend the rest of our lives proving it."

The fire crackled. The stars came out. And for the first time, I let myself believe.

Later that night, after the fire had died to embers, we retreated to the hot tub on the deck. The steam rose around us, the cold air biting at our faces while the hot water soothed our muscles. We sat in a circle, our legs tangled beneath the surface.

I was in Evan's lap, his arms wrapped around my waist. Rayburn sat beside me, his fingers tracing lazy patterns on my thigh. Nate was across from us, his blue eyes reflecting the porch light.

"I want to play a game," I said, surprising myself.

"What kind of game?" Nate asked, a grin spreading across his face.

"A truth game. Each person shares something they've been afraid to say. And then we act on it. Together."

Evan's hands tightened on my waist. "I'm in."

Rayburn's fingers traced patterns on my thigh. "Me too."

Nate leaned back, his arms resting on the edge of the tub. "Let's do it."

I started. "I'm afraid that I'm too much. That my independence, my career, my need for space will eventually push you away. And I'm afraid that if I let myself need you too much, I'll lose myself."

Evan kissed my shoulder. "That's not going to happen. We love you exactly as you are. And we'll always make room for your space."

"My turn," Rayburn said. "I'm afraid that my passion, my intensity, scares you. That I come on too strong and push you away."

I turned in Evan's lap to face him. "Rafa, your passion is what I love most about you. It makes me feel wanted. Desired. Never scared."

Nate's voice was soft. "I'm afraid that I'm not enough. That my jokes and my humor are just a mask for how deeply I feel. And that when you see the real me, you'll think I'm too much work."

I reached out and took his hand. "Nate, your humor is a gift. But I want to see all of you. The serious parts too. I'm not going anywhere."

Evan's turn. He was quiet for a moment. "I'm afraid of failing you. That my need to protect will become control. That I'll smother you with my care."

I cupped his face in my hands. "Evan, your protection makes me feel safe. But I need you to trust me too. Trust that I can handle myself. And trust that I'll tell you when I need space."

He nodded, his eyes glistening. "I'll work on that."

The game had done its work. The air between us felt lighter, clearer. And the heat between my thighs was building.

I stood up in the tub, water streaming down my body. "Now for the acting on it part."

I stepped out of the hot tub and wrapped myself in a towel, then led them inside. The cabin's main room was lit by a fire in the stone hearth, casting dancing shadows on the walls. A large bed dominated the loft upstairs, but I had other plans.

I spread blankets on the floor in front of the fire. The flames crackled and popped, filling the room with warmth and light.

"Lie down," I said, my voice steady.

They obeyed without question. Evan on his back, Rayburn beside him, Nate on the other side. I stood over them, naked now, the firelight painting my skin gold.

"I want to feel claimed," I said. "But I want to do the claiming too."

I knelt between Evan's legs first, taking his length in my hand. He was already hard, the tip glistening with precum. I stroked him slowly, feeling the velvety skin over steel beneath my fingers. His thighs tensed as I lowered my mouth onto him, tasting the salt of his skin. I swirled my tongue around the head, then took him deeper, inch by inch, until he hit the back of my throat. His hips bucked, a groan escaping his lips.

"Fuck, Belinda," he breathed, his fingers tangling in my hair.

Rayburn moved behind me, his hands gripping my hips. He guided me up onto my knees, positioning me over his face. I felt his warm breath against my folds before his tongue made contact, a slow lick from my entrance to my clit that made me shudder. I moaned around Evan's cock, the vibration making him twitch in my mouth.

Nate knelt beside us, his hand stroking my hair, my back, my shoulders. "You're so beautiful like this," he murmured. "Taking all of us. Letting us worship you."

I released Evan with a wet pop and turned to Nate, pulling him down to kiss me. His mouth was warm, his tongue sweeping against mine, tasting himself on my lips. I guided his hand to my breast, and he squeezed gently, his thumb circling my nipple until it pebbled under his touch. I arched into his palm, wanting more.

Rayburn's tongue was relentless, lapping at my clit in tight circles while two fingers pushed inside me, curling to find that spot that made me see stars. I broke the kiss with Nate, gasping for air. "Please. I need all of you. Now."

They arranged themselves around me on the blankets. Evan lay back, and I straddled him, positioning his cock at my entrance. I sank onto him slowly, feeling every inch as he filled me, my walls stretching around him. A cry escaped my lips as I took him to the hilt.

"That's it," Evan groaned, his hands gripping my hips. "Take all of me."

Rayburn positioned himself behind me, his chest pressed against my back, his cock sliding between my thighs, slick with my arousal. He rubbed against my folds, the friction against my clit making me whimper. Nate knelt in front of me, his length hard and ready at my lips.

I took Nate in my mouth, tasting the salt and musk of him. He was thick and heavy on my tongue, and I swirled my tongue around the sensitive underside before taking him deeper.

We moved together, a rhythm born of trust and desire. Evan thrust up into me while I rode him, my hips rolling in waves. Rayburn pressed against my back, his cock sliding through my slick folds, the head nudging my clit with each pass. Nate's hands cradled my face as I sucked him, his breathing ragged.

The fire crackled. Our bodies glistened with sweat. The air was thick with the sounds of pleasure, wet skin against skin, moans and gasps and the slap of flesh.

Rayburn shifted, his tip finding my other entrance. He pushed in slowly, carefully, filling me alongside Evan. The stretch was exquisite at first, then overwhelming, the fullness so intense I thought I might break apart. I cried out around Nate's cock, tears pricking my eyes.

"Easy," Evan breathed, his thumb finding my clit. "We've got you. Just feel."

They moved in tandem, a wave of sensation that built and built. Evan thrust up while Rayburn pulled back, then reversed, a constant rhythm of fullness that drove me higher with each stroke. I was lost in it, in them, in the heat and the pressure and the love that surrounded me.

Nate's hands cradled my face. "Let go, Belinda. We're here. We've always been here."

I did. I let go of the fear, the doubt, the insecurity. I let go and fell into them.

My climax crashed through me like a thunderstorm, a shockwave that started at my core and radiated outward, making me scream around Nate's cock. My walls clenched and pulsed around Evan and Rayburn, pulling them deeper. Evan followed with a groan, his release hot inside me, his hips jerking. Rayburn's rhythm stuttered as he came, his groan muffled against my shoulder, his warmth flooding me. Nate's cock twitched in my mouth, his release hitting my tongue, salty and warm, as he cried out my name.

We collapsed together, a tangle of limbs and sweat and satisfied sighs. The fire popped and settled. The stars shone through the window.

I lay in the center of them, their hands tracing lazy patterns on my skin, their hearts beating against mine. The jealousy was gone. The insecurity was gone. All that remained was unity.

"Thank you," I whispered. "For not giving up on me."

Evan kissed my forehead. "Never."

Rayburn nuzzled my neck. "Always."

Nate squeezed my hand. "Forever."

And in the warmth of the fire and their bodies, I believed them.

Daily Integration

The firehouse smelled like coffee and diesel and something that felt like home.

Belinda walked through the bay, her boots echoing against the concrete floor. The engine gleamed under the fluorescent lights. Nate was polishing the chrome, his back to her, and she watched the muscles move beneath his shirt for a moment before he turned.

"You're late," he said, but his eyes crinkled.

"I'm three minutes early and you know it."

"Three minutes is an eternity in emergency services."

She laughed and grabbed his coffee from his hand, taking a long sip. He made a sound of protest but didn't try to take it back. This was their rhythm now. She stole his coffee. He complained. She kept drinking.

Rayburn appeared from the equipment room, his curly hair damp at the temples. He'd been working out. The t-shirt clung to his chest, and Belinda let her gaze linger longer than was professional.

"Mira quién llegó," he said, his voice low.

"I'm always here."

"Not always." He stepped closer, close enough that she caught the scent of his soap. "But we're working on that."

Her heart kicked. That was the thing about being here now. The lines between work and something else blurred constantly. She had to remind herself where she was, who might be watching.

Evan came down the stairs, his boots heavy on the metal steps. He looked at her, and something passed between them. A quiet acknowledgment. A shared secret.

"Morning," he said.

"Morning, Captain."

He almost smiled. Almost.

The morning passed in the rhythm of station life. Equipment checks. Paperwork. A minor call that turned out to be nothing. They worked around each other like they'd been doing this for years, not weeks. Belinda handled the medical side. Evan directed the scene. Rayburn moved with fluid efficiency. Nate kept the mood light.

But there were moments.

A brush of fingers when she handed Evan a bandage. A look from Rayburn that lasted a second too long. Nate's hand on her lower back as he guided her around a corner.

The tension built like a pressure system, invisible but undeniable.

By afternoon, the station was quiet. The other crew members had gone to a training session. It was just the four of them, and the silence felt charged.

Belinda was in the kitchen, staring at the coffee maker without seeing it. She felt him before she heard him.

"You're thinking too hard," Evan said.

"I'm always thinking."

"That's the problem."

He stood behind her, not touching, but close enough that she felt the heat of his body. She didn't turn around.

"This is strange," she said. "Being here. Pretending."

"We're not pretending. We're being discreet."

"Same thing."

His hand landed on her shoulder, warm and heavy. "Is it?"

She turned then. He was close, his gray eyes serious. She wanted to kiss him. She wanted to press him against the counter and forget where they were.

"Tonight," he said. "My office. After shift."

"That's not subtle."

"It's not meant to be."

He walked away, and she watched him go, her pulse hammering.

The rest of the shift crawled.

They responded to a structure fire, a small kitchen blaze that they contained quickly. Belinda treated a firefighter for smoke inhalation, her hands steady, her voice calm. But underneath the professionalism, there was a current of anticipation.

Rayburn caught her eye as they packed up. His look was hot, possessive.

Nate grinned at her from across the scene, and she felt a warmth that had nothing to do with the fire.

By the time they returned to the station, the sun was setting. The sky through the bay doors was orange and pink. The station felt empty, quiet.

Belinda showered quickly, her skin still tingling from the adrenaline. She changed into civilian clothes, jeans and a soft sweater. She wanted to feel like herself, not like a paramedic walking into a negotiation.

Evan's office was at the end of the hall. The door was open. Inside, the three of them were waiting.

Rayburn sat on the couch, his arms spread across the back. Nate leaned against the desk, his blue eyes bright. Evan stood by the window, his arms crossed.

She stepped inside and closed the door.

"So," she said. "What's this about?"

Evan looked at her. "You tell us."

The weight of their attention settled over her. Three men, their eyes all focused on her. A few weeks ago, this would have terrified her. Now, it felt like power.

"I've been thinking," she said. "About what I want."

Rayburn leaned forward. "And what's that?"

"I want to explore this. All of it. But I want to do it on my terms."

Nate smiled. "Your terms sound good."

"I want to be in control tonight."

The words hung in the air. She watched their reactions. Evan's eyebrow rose. Rayburn's lips curved. Nate's eyes darkened.

"Tell us what you want," Evan said.

She took a breath. This was the moment. The trust she'd built with them, the intimacy they'd shared, it all came down to this.

"I want you to kneel."

They looked at each other. Then, one by one, they did.

Evan first, his knees hitting the floor with a solid thud. Then Rayburn, graceful and slow. Then Nate, a grin still on his face.

They knelt before her, and a rush of heat flooded her body.

"Now what?" Nate asked.

"Now you watch."

She walked to the couch and sat down. They stayed where they were, waiting. She let them wait. She let herself feel the moment, the power of it.

"Rayburn," she said. "Come here."

He crawled to her, his eyes never leaving hers. When he reached her feet, she gestured for him to sit between her legs. He did, his back to her, his head at her knees.

She ran her fingers through his curls. "You've been wanting this."

"Sí," he breathed.

"I know." She turned to the others. "Evan. Nate. Come closer."

They moved, crawling until they flanked her. She looked at them, these powerful men, kneeling at her feet.

"Tonight," she said, "you're going to take care of me. You're going to listen to what I want. And you're going to make me feel good."

Evan's voice was rough. "We can do that."

"I know you can."

She stood up. They stayed on their knees. She walked to the desk and leaned against it.

"Undress me."

They moved together, their hands finding the hem of her sweater. They lifted it over her head, their fingers brushing her skin. Her jeans came next, slid down her hips by careful hands.

She stood in her bra and panties, feeling exposed and powerful.

"Touch me," she said. "But only where I tell you."

Nate's hand landed on her hip. Rayburn's fingers traced her collarbone. Evan's palm pressed against her stomach.

She directed them. A touch here. A kiss there. Slow, deliberate, worshipful.

"Rayburn," she said. "Your mouth."

He knelt before her and pressed his lips to her stomach. He kissed a path down, over her hip, the edge of her panties. She gasped.

"Nate. Behind me."

He moved, and she felt his chest against her back, his hands on her shoulders. He kissed her neck.

Evan stayed in front, his eyes on her face.

"What do you want?" he asked.

"I want you to watch."

She reached down and pulled Rayburn's head closer. He understood. His mouth found her through the thin fabric, and she moaned.

The pressure built slowly, deliberately. She was in control, but she was also surrendering. Surrendering to their touch, their attention, their devotion.

Rayburn's tongue pressed harder. Nate's hands cupped her breasts. Evan watched, his eyes burning.

"More," she said.

Rayburn hooked his fingers into her panties and pulled them down. She stepped out of them, and he pressed his mouth to her without hesitation.

His tongue found her center, hot and slick and relentless. He licked into her, tasting her, his hands gripping her thighs to hold her steady. She bucked against his mouth, and he groaned, the vibration sending sparks through her.

Nate's fingers found her nipples through the lace of her bra, rolling them, pinching gently. His breath was hot against her ear, his teeth grazing her earlobe. "You're so beautiful like this," he murmured. "So wet for us."

Evan stood to the side, his arms crossed, his eyes never leaving her face. His jaw was tight, his breathing controlled. She could see the bulge in his pants, the way his hands clenched. He was holding himself back. Waiting for permission.

The pleasure coiled inside her, tight and hot. Rayburn's mouth was relentless, his tongue circling her clit, sucking gently, then harder. She tangled her fingers in his curls, holding him against her.

"Don't stop," she gasped. "Right there. Don't stop."

He didn't. He worked her with his mouth, his tongue, his lips, until the tension snapped and she came with a cry, her body shuddering against him.

But she wasn't done.

"Evan," she said, her voice shaky. "Your turn."

He rose from his knees and crossed to her in two strides. He lifted her onto the desk, and she wrapped her legs around him.

"Tell me what you want," he said.

"I want you inside me."

He didn't hesitate. He unzipped his pants, freed himself, and pressed into her, slow and deep. She moaned, her head falling back, her body stretching to accommodate him.

"God, you feel good," he said through gritted teeth.

Rayburn moved behind her, his mouth on her neck, his hands cupping her breasts. Nate stood beside Evan, his hand on her thigh, his thumb stroking circles on her skin.

They moved together. Evan thrust into her, deep and controlled, his hands on her hips. Rayburn's fingers found her nipples, rolling and tugging. Nate kissed her shoulder, her jaw, her mouth.

The rhythm built. Evan's pace quickened, his breathing ragged. "Belinda. I'm close."

"Not yet."

She held him there, on the edge, her inner muscles clenching around him. He groaned, his forehead dropping to her shoulder.

"Please," he said.

The word undid her. Evan, her captain, her steady rock, begging. She let go.

The orgasm hit her like a wave, her body clenching around him, and she felt him follow, his body tense and shuddering as he came inside her.

They stayed like that for a moment, breathing hard. Then Evan pulled back, his eyes soft.

"Nate," she said. "Rayburn. I'm not done with you."

Nate grinned. "I was hoping you'd say that."

She slid off the desk and turned to Rayburn. She could see the want in his eyes, the hunger. She pushed him toward the couch, and he went willingly, sitting down and pulling her into his lap.

She straddled him, her knees on either side of his hips. He was hard, his cock pressing against her through his pants. She rolled her hips, and he hissed.

"You're going to kill me," he said.

"Not yet."

She unbuttoned his jeans, freed him, and sank down onto him. He filled her differently than Evan had, and she gasped at the sensation.

"Mírame," he said, his hands on her hips. "Look at me."

She did. She looked into his dark eyes as she rode him, slow at first, then faster. His hands gripped her hips, guiding her pace.

Nate moved behind her, his chest against her back, his hands on her waist. He kissed her shoulder, her neck. His hand slid between her legs, his fingers finding her clit, rubbing in tight circles.

The pleasure built again, sharper this time. Rayburn's hands on her breasts, Nate's fingers between her legs, the feeling of being filled, being touched everywhere.

"Come for us," Rayburn said. "Come on."

She did. She shattered, her body clenching around Rayburn, and he followed, his hands tightening on her hips as he came.

She collapsed against his chest, breathless. Nate's arms came around her from behind, his lips on her temple.

"What about you?" she asked, turning her head to look at him.

He smiled. "I can wait."

"No." She stood up, her legs shaking, and took his hand. She led him to the couch and pushed him down. "Your turn."

She knelt between his legs and took him in her mouth. He groaned, his hands tangling in her hair. She worked him with her tongue, her lips, taking him deep, then shallow, teasing and tasting.

Rayburn moved behind her, his hands on her back, his lips on her shoulder. Evan watched from across the room, his eyes dark and hungry.

Nate's hips bucked beneath her. "Belinda. I'm going to come."

She didn't stop. She took him deeper, swallowing around him, and he came with a shout, his body arching off the couch.

She sat back on her heels, wiping her mouth, and looked at the three of them. Evan by the window. Rayburn on the floor. Nate on the couch, his chest heaving.

Afterward, they lay tangled on the floor, breathless and sweaty. The office was dark, the only light from the moon outside.

Nate pressed a kiss to her shoulder. "That was..."

"Different," she finished.

"Good different."

Rayburn's hand found hers. "You were incredible."

Evan was quiet for a moment. Then he said, "This is what we needed."

She felt a deep satisfaction, not just physical, but emotional. She was theirs, and they were hers. Not because she'd surrendered, but because she'd chosen.

She'd chosen them.

And they'd chosen her.

The night stretched on, warm and quiet. They talked. They touched. They laughed. The firehouse hummed around them, a familiar comfort.

This was her life now.

And she wouldn't change a thing.

The Breaking Point

The alarm blared through the firehouse just before dawn, tearing Belinda from the narrow cot in the bunk room where she'd been catching sleep between shifts. Her body moved on autopilot, years of training overriding the fog of exhaustion as she pulled on her boots and grabbed her medical kit.

"Structure fire, three alarms, multiple casualties reported," Evan's voice cut through the chaos as he emerged from the captain's office, already suited up. His steel-gray eyes met hers for a fraction of a second, and she saw something there she'd never seen before. Fear.

The engine roared to life beneath them, Rayburn at the wheel, Nate beside him mapping the fastest route. Belinda sat in the back, checking her equipment with trembling fingers she couldn't seem to still. The air smelled of diesel and tension and something electric that made her skin prickle.

"Five story apartment building," Evan said, his voice tight as he studied the dispatch details. "Gas leak suspected. Partial collapse on the third floor."

Belinda's stomach dropped. Partial collapse meant trapped victims. It meant her men going in when every instinct screamed for them to stay out.

They arrived to a nightmare. Flames licked from every window on the upper floors, smoke billowing in thick black clouds that blotted out the stars. The heat hit Belinda like a physical wall as she jumped from the rig, her medical bag already open.

"Rayburn, Nate, you're with me on primary search," Evan barked, his captain's mask firmly in place. "Belinda, set up triage. We've got civilians coming out."

She wanted to argue. Wanted to grab his arm and beg him to be careful. But she was a professional, and professionals didn't fall apart on scene. So she nodded, her jaw clenched so tight her teeth ached, and watched them disappear into the inferno.

The next forty minutes were a blur of smoke and blood and screaming. Belinda treated burns, smoke inhalation, a woman in labor who'd been trapped on the second floor. She worked with mechanical precision, her mind locked in a cold, clinical box while her heart raced somewhere beneath it all, counting seconds, counting breaths, counting the minutes since she'd last seen those familiar faces.

"Belinda!" Nate's voice cracked through her focus. He emerged from the building, his face black with soot, his arm supporting a dazed elderly man. "We've got the last of them. Everyone's out."

Relief flooded through her so powerfully her knees buckled. She caught herself on the tailgate of the ambulance, sucking in air that tasted of ash and salvation.

"Where's Evan?" she asked, her voice steadier than she felt. "Where's Rayburn?"

Nate's blue eyes flickered. "They're doing a final sweep. Structural engineer said the building could go any minute."

The words hit her like a physical blow. "They're still in there?"

"Belinda, they know what they're doing. They'll be out any second."

But the seconds stretched into minutes, and the minutes felt like hours, and Belinda couldn't breathe. She couldn't think. All she could see was Evan's gray eyes and Rayburn's warm smile and the way they'd held her just last night, their bodies a shield against the world.

The building groaned, a sound like dying metal, and Belinda was moving before she made the decision. Her legs carried her toward the entrance, toward the flames, toward the men she couldn't lose.

"Belinda, no!" Nate grabbed her arm, his grip bruising. "You can't go in there."

"Let me go." Her voice was a stranger's, raw and desperate. "I can't lose them, Nate. I can't."

"You won't." He pulled her against his chest, his heart hammering against her cheek. "You won't, because they're coming out right now."

She turned, and there they were. Evan and Rayburn, emerging from the smoke like ghosts, their gear blackened, their faces exhausted but alive. Evan was limping slightly, and Rayburn had a cut above his eye that bled freely down his face, but they were alive.

Belinda broke free from Nate and ran. She collided with Evan first, her arms wrapping around his neck, her face buried in the soot-stained collar of his coat. He held her tight, his breath ragged in her ear.

"I'm okay," he murmured. "I'm okay, Belinda."

"Don't you ever do that to me again." Her voice broke on the last word, and she didn't care who heard. "Don't you ever scare me like that."

Rayburn's hand found her back, warm and steady. "We're here, mi vida. We're here."

She pulled back, looking at each of them in turn. Evan's stoic mask had cracked, revealing the raw emotion beneath. Rayburn's eyes were bright with unshed tears. And Nate stood behind them, his face pale, his hands shaking as he reached for her.

"We need to go home," Belinda said, her voice firm despite the tremor in her hands. "All of us. Now."

The firehouse apartment was quiet when they finally made it back, the adrenaline fading into a bone-deep exhaustion that had nothing to do with physical labor. Belinda stood in the center of the living room, still in her uniform, still covered in ash and the smell of smoke.

"I thought I lost you," she said, the words falling out before she could stop them. "I watched you go into that building, and I thought I was never going to see you again."

Evan stepped toward her, his limp more pronounced now. "Belinda..."

"No." She held up a hand, cutting him off. "I need to say this. I've spent my whole life not needing anyone. I built walls so high and so thick that I thought nothing could ever break them down. And then you three came along and smashed through every single one of them."

Tears streamed down her face, leaving clean tracks through the grime. "And now I'm terrified. Because I need you. All of you. And I can't go back to the way things were before."

Rayburn moved first, crossing the room to take her face in his hands. "You don't have to go back. You never have to go back."

"We're here," Nate added, his voice soft. "We're not going anywhere."

Evan reached them last, his hand finding hers, his thumb tracing circles on her palm. "We're a family, Belinda. That doesn't end because of a close call."

She looked at them, these three men who had somehow become her whole world, and felt something shift inside her. The fear was still there, lurking at the edges. But beneath it, something stronger was rising. Something that wanted to take control.

"I need tonight," she said, her voice low and steady now. "I need to feel alive. I need to feel you. All of you."

Evan's eyes darkened. "What do you need, Belinda?"

"I need to be in charge." The words came out sure and strong. "I need you to trust me. To let me take care of you for once."

Rayburn's breath caught. "Whatever you want, mi amor."

She led them to the bedroom, her heart pounding with a new kind of adrenaline. This was different from their other nights. This wasn't about exploration or jealousy or proving anything. This was about reclaiming something. About taking the fear and the pain and the terror of almost losing them and transforming it into something beautiful.

"Strip," she commanded, her voice leaving no room for argument. "I want to see you."

They obeyed without hesitation. Uniforms fell to the floor, revealing the bodies she knew so well. Evan's broad shoulders and muscular chest, dusted with dark hair that tapered down his stomach. Rayburn's golden skin and powerful arms, the muscles in his abdomen defined from years of carrying victims from burning buildings. Nate's lean frame and the light dusting of blond hair on his chest, his blue eyes watching her with quiet intensity.

Belinda walked around them, her fingers trailing over heated skin, leaving goosebumps in their wake. She could feel their need, their desire, their willingness to give her whatever she asked. The power rushed through her like a drug, intoxicating and potent.

"Lie down," she said, pointing to the bed. "Evan in the middle. Rayburn on his left. Nate on his right."

They arranged themselves, three bodies stretched out like offerings. Belinda climbed onto the bed, positioning herself above Evan, straddling his chest. She looked down at them, at the trust in their eyes, and felt power surge through her veins.

"Tonight, you do what I say," she told them. "You don't touch me unless I tell you to. You don't come unless I give you permission. Do you understand?"

"Yes," they answered in unison, their voices rough with desire.

Belinda leaned down and kissed Evan, slow and deep, pouring all her fear and relief and love into the contact. His lips parted beneath hers, his tongue meeting hers in a dance that spoke of desperation and devotion. She could feel his heart hammering against her chest, the restraint in his body as he fought the urge to touch her. Then she moved to Rayburn, her mouth claiming his with equal intensity, swallowing the groan that rose from his throat. His hands stayed at his sides, fists clenched in the sheets, and the sight of his restraint made her burn. Then Nate, her lips soft against his, her tongue tracing the shape of his smile before deepening the kiss until he was breathless beneath her.

She sat up, reaching for the bottle of lube on the nightstand. "I'm going to take care of each of you. One at a time. And you're going to watch."

She started with Evan, positioning herself over his hips, guiding him inside her with a slow, deliberate movement that made them both gasp. He was thick and hard, filling her inch by inch as she lowered herself onto him. She rode him with her eyes closed, focusing on the sensation, on the fullness, on the way he stretched her perfectly. Her hips rolled in slow circles, grinding against him, feeling every ridge and vein as her walls clenched around him.

"Look at me," she commanded, and his gray eyes met hers, dark with emotion. "I love you. I love all of you. And I'm not going to let fear control me anymore."

She moved faster, harder, taking what she needed. Evan's hands gripped the sheets, his knuckles white with the effort of not touching her. His jaw clenched, the tendons in his neck standing out as he fought for control. She could feel him pulsing inside her, could feel his need building, and she slowed her rhythm, squeezing him with her inner muscles.

"Not yet," she whispered, climbing off him. "Rayburn, your turn."

Rayburn's dark eyes burned with passion as she positioned herself over him. She took him in a different angle, leaning back so he hit the spot deep inside her that made her see stars. His hands fisted at his sides as she controlled the rhythm, her hips rising and falling with deliberate slowness. She reached down, pressing her thumb against her clit, circling it in time with her movements, and the dual sensation made her gasp.

"Te amo," he gasped, the words falling from his lips like a prayer. "Te amo tanto."

"I know," she answered, leaning down to kiss him. "I love you too."

She brought him to the edge and stopped again, ignoring his groan of frustration. His cock twitched inside her, desperate for release, but she pulled away, leaving him empty and aching. Nate was next, and she took him with a tenderness that surprised even her, her movements gentle and worshipful. She lowered herself onto him slowly, savoring the way he filled her, different from the others, and began to move in long, deep strokes.

"You're so beautiful," she told him, her hand cupping his cheek. "So good. So perfect for me."

Nate's eyes glistened. "Belinda..."

She kissed him, swallowing his words, and let herself feel everything. The fear, the relief, the love, the need. It all swirled together into something overwhelming, something that demanded release. Her pace quickened, her hips snapping against his, and she could feel her own pleasure building, coiling tight in her belly.

But she stopped before the peak, pulling off him with a shudder. "All of you," she breathed. "I need all of you now."

She moved back to Evan, positioning herself over him again, and this time she didn't hold back. She sank onto him in one smooth motion, taking him to the hilt, and began to ride him with abandon. Her body moved on instinct, her hips grinding and rolling, her breasts swaying with each thrust. Rayburn moved behind her, his chest pressing against her back, his hands finally finding her skin as she gave permission. His lips traced her spine, his fingers finding her nipples, pinching and rolling them as she fucked Evan harder.

Nate knelt beside them, his hand wrapping around his own cock, stroking himself as he watched. Belinda reached for him, pulling him closer, taking him into her mouth. The taste of him, the feel of Evan inside her, Rayburn's hands on her body, it was everything. It was too much and not enough and exactly what she needed.

"Now," she gasped, releasing Nate from her mouth. "All of you. Now."

Evan came first, his body shuddering beneath her, his hips bucking up as he spilled inside her. She could feel him pulsing, feel the heat of his release, and it triggered her own orgasm. She cried out, the sound raw and primal, as pleasure crashed through her in waves. Her walls clamped down on him, milking every drop, as Rayburn's hand slid down to her clit, rubbing firm circles that sent her spiraling into a second climax. Rayburn followed, his moan muffled against her shoulder as he came against her back, his release hot on her skin. And Nate, his blue eyes locked on hers, let go with a whispered prayer, his seed spilling across his stomach and her hand.

Belinda collapsed against Evan's chest, her body trembling, her heart pounding. The men surrounded her, their hands gentle, their touches soft. Rayburn curled against her back, his arm draped over her waist. Nate stretched out beside them, his fingers tracing lazy patterns on her shoulder. She felt safe. She felt loved. She felt alive.

"I'm sorry," she whispered into the darkness. "I'm sorry I fell apart."

"Don't be sorry," Nate said, his voice thick with emotion. "You held us together."

"You gave us everything," Rayburn added, his lips brushing her hair.

Evan's arms tightened around her. "You're the strongest person I know, Belinda. And we're going to spend the rest of our lives making sure you never have to face your fears alone."

She closed her eyes, letting their warmth seep into her bones. The fear was still there, a shadow at the edge of her consciousness. But it was smaller now. Manageable. Because she had them. And they had her.

And together, they were unbreakable.

Permanent Flames

Belinda finished her shift, the familiar routine of stowing her gear and signing out feeling different today. The firehouse hummed with its usual energy, the sounds of the crew preparing dinner, the distant clatter of equipment being organized for the next call. But there was an undercurrent of something she couldn't quite name, a tension in the air that made her skin prickle.

She thought back to the first time she had walked into this firehouse, responding to a call that had changed her life. She remembered the way Evan's gray eyes had assessed her, how Rayburn's smile had radiated warmth, how Nate's laughter had filled the space with lightness. She had been so guarded then, so determined to maintain her independence at all costs. But they had broken through her walls, piece by piece, until she had let them in completely.

Now, she stood in the engine bay, watching as the three captains approached her. Their expressions were serious but soft, their eyes full of love. She knew something was coming. They had been planning something for weeks, whispering in corners and giving each other knowing looks when they thought she wasn't paying attention.

"Everything okay?" she asked, keeping her voice steady despite her racing heart.

Evan stepped forward, his broad shoulders filling her view. "We've been talking, Belinda. All three of us."

Her stomach tightened. "That sounds serious."

Rayburn smiled, that warm expression that always made her feel safe. "It is, querida. But in a good way."

Nate took her hand, his touch gentle. "We want to formalize what we have. Make it permanent."

Belinda's breath caught. She had felt the shift in their relationship over the past months, the deepening trust and love. But hearing them say it out loud made it real, made it tangible in a way that thoughts alone never could.

"What do you mean?" she asked, barely above a whisper.

Evan gestured toward the bunk room. "Come with us. We've prepared something."

She followed them, her mind racing with possibilities. The bunk room door swung open, and she gasped. The room had been transformed. Candles flickered on every surface, their flames casting warm shadows on the walls. Soft music played from a small speaker, a gentle melody that filled the space. In the center of the room, a thick blanket was spread on the floor, surrounded by pillows and cushions. The air smelled of sandalwood and vanilla.

"This is beautiful," she said, her eyes stinging with tears.

Rayburn took her hand, his fingers intertwining with hers. "We wanted to create a sacred space for this. For us."

Nate smiled, his dimples showing. "We've been planning this for weeks. We wanted it to be perfect."

Evan stepped closer, his gray eyes intense. "Belinda, we love you. Each of us, in our own way. But we love you together, too. We want to make a commitment to you, and to each other. A formal commitment."

Her heart swelled, filling her chest with warmth. "I love you too. All of you. I never thought I could have this, but you've shown me that I can."

Rayburn kissed her forehead, his lips warm against her skin. "You are the center of our world, Belinda. You hold us together."

Nate laughed softly. "And you keep us from taking ourselves too seriously."

She smiled through her tears, feeling the weight of their love. "What do we do?"

Evan produced a small velvet box from his pocket. "We wanted to exchange tokens. Symbols of our commitment."

He opened the box to reveal four rings. Three were simple bands of different metals, and the fourth was a delicate ring with three small stones set in a line.

"We had these made," Evan said. "The three bands are for us, to remind us of our bond to you. The ring with three stones is for you, to remind you that you are connected to each of us."

Rayburn took the silver band. "This one's from me. It represents the passion we share."

Nate took the gold band. "This one's from me. It represents the joy and laughter."

Evan took the platinum band. "And this one's from me. It represents the stability and strength."

They each slipped a band onto her finger, one at a time. The metal was cool against her skin, but the weight felt right, grounding her in this moment.

Then she took the ring with three stones. "I have something for each of you too."

She turned to Evan first, sliding the ring onto his finger. The platinum band gleamed in the candlelight. "This is for you, Evan. For your strength and your heart. For teaching me that vulnerability isn't weakness."

She turned to Rayburn. "This is for you, Rayburn. For your passion and your warmth. For showing me that love can be fierce and tender at the same time."

She turned to Nate. "And this is for you, Nate. For your joy and your light. For reminding me to laugh, even when things are hard."

They looked at each other, then at her. The moment felt sacred, charged with emotion. Evan pulled her into his arms, his body solid against hers.

"We're in this together, Belinda. Forever."

She kissed him, deep and slow, feeling the weight of his promise. His tongue swept into her mouth, tasting of coffee and something uniquely him. Then Rayburn's lips were on hers, softer but no less passionate. And then Nate's, gentle and sweet.

They surrounded her, their bodies warm against hers. The candlelight flickered, casting dancing shadows on their skin.

The erotic scene began slowly, reverently. They undressed her with careful hands, each touch deliberate and worshipful. Evan unbuttoned her shirt, his fingers brushing her collarbone, tracing the delicate bones beneath her skin. Rayburn pulled her pants down her legs, his lips following the path of fabric, pressing soft kisses to her thighs as he revealed them. Nate removed her bra and underwear, his eyes never leaving hers, his gaze heavy with adoration.

They laid her on the blanket, the soft fabric cradling her body. The candlelight played across their skin as they took turns kissing every inch of her. Evan's mouth was firm on her neck, his stubble rough against her sensitive skin, his teeth grazing her pulse point. Rayburn's hands roamed her curves, his touch electric, his palms hot against her waist, her hips, the swell of her breasts. Nate's lips brushed her inner thigh, teasing and gentle, his breath warm against her most sensitive skin.

She moaned, arching into their touch. "I want all of you. Now."

But they took their time, building her pleasure slowly. Evan's fingers found her center, stroking her with practiced precision. His thumb circled her clit, sending sparks of pleasure through her body, while his fingers slid inside her, curling against the spot that made her gasp. Rayburn's mouth closed over her breast, his tongue circling her nipple, his teeth grazing the sensitive peak before sucking gently, pulling a whine from her throat. Nate's lips kissed her stomach, her hips, her thighs, leaving a trail of fire wherever he touched.

She was lost in sensation, her body singing with pleasure. They worked together, their hands and mouths moving in perfect harmony. Evan's fingers thrust inside her while his thumb worked her clit with relentless pressure. Rayburn's mouth moved from one breast to the other, his tongue tracing wet patterns across her skin. Nate's lips finally found her other thigh, his teeth grazing the sensitive skin there before his tongue soothing the slight sting.

The pleasure built inside her, coiling tighter and tighter. She could feel it approaching, that edge that she couldn't come back from. Evan seemed to sense it, his fingers moving faster, his thumb pressing harder. Rayburn's mouth sucked her nipple with more force, and Nate's lips pressed against her hip bone, his tongue tracing the crease where her leg met her body.

When she came, it was with a cry that echoed through the room, her body shuddering with release. Her hips bucked against Evan's hand, and he held her through it, his touch steady, his fingers still moving inside her as her walls clenched and pulsed around him. The orgasm seemed to last forever, wave after wave crashing through her, leaving her breathless and trembling.

But they weren't done. Evan positioned himself above her, his eyes locked on hers. "I love you, Belinda."

She wrapped her legs around him. "I love you too."

He entered her slowly, filling her completely. His rhythm was steady, deep, each thrust a declaration of his devotion. She could feel every inch of him, the way he stretched her, the way he pressed against her walls. His pelvis ground against her clit with each stroke, sending fresh sparks of pleasure through her oversensitive body. Rayburn kissed her, his tongue tangling with hers, swallowing her moans. Nate stroked her hair, whispering endearments, his fingers tracing patterns on her scalp.

Evan's pace increased, his thrusts becoming harder, more urgent. His breathing grew ragged, his jaw clenched with the effort of holding back. "Belinda," he groaned, his voice thick with need. "I can't... I'm going to..."

"Let go," she whispered, pulling him closer. "I want to feel you."

When Evan came, he buried his face in her neck, his body trembling. She felt his release inside her, hot and pulsing, his cock throbbing against her walls. He stayed there for a moment, breathing heavily, before pulling out and rolling to the side, his hand trailing down her body as he went.

Then Rayburn took his place, his movements more urgent, more passionate. He drove into her with a hunger that made her gasp, his hands gripping her hips, pulling her closer, deeper. He was thicker than Evan, stretching her in a different way, hitting places inside her that made her toes curl. He spoke in Spanish, words she didn't understand but felt in her bones, his voice rough with desire.

"Mírame," he commanded, his dark eyes burning into hers. "Look at me when I'm inside you."

She met his gaze, her eyes wide with pleasure. His hips snapped against hers, the sound of their bodies meeting filling the room. Rayburn's hand found her clit, his fingers rubbing in tight circles as he fucked her. The dual sensation was overwhelming, pushing her toward another orgasm.

"Rayburn," she moaned, her nails digging into his shoulders. "I'm close again."

"I know, querida. I can feel you squeezing me. Come for me. Let me feel you."

She came again, her body clenching around him, her back arching off the blanket. The orgasm was different from the first, deeper somehow, more intense. She cried out his name, her fingers digging into his back hard enough to leave marks. He followed soon after, his cry muffled against her shoulder, his hips jerking against hers as he spilled inside her.

Finally, Nate settled between her thighs. His touch was gentle, almost tender. He entered her with a soft sigh, his movements slow and deliberate. He watched her face, his blue eyes full of love. His cock slid inside her easily, her body still slick from Evan and Rayburn's releases. The sensation was different, softer, but no less intense.

"This is forever," he whispered. "You and us."

She nodded, tears streaming down her face. "Forever."

He moved inside her, building a rhythm that felt like a heartbeat. Slow and steady, each thrust a promise. His hand cupped her face, his thumb wiping away her tears. "Don't cry, Soph. This is a happy moment."

"They're happy tears," she managed, a laugh escaping her. "I'm just... I'm so full of love right now. I can't contain it."

He smiled, that dimpled smile that always made her heart flutter. "Then let it out. Let me feel it."

He shifted his angle, hitting that spot inside her that made her see stars. His pace increased slightly, his hips rolling against hers in a wave-like motion. His hand moved from her face to her breast, his thumb brushing her nipple, already sensitive from Rayburn's attention.

She could feel another orgasm building, this one slower, deeper. Nate seemed to sense it, his movements becoming more deliberate, more focused. He ground his pelvis against her clit with each thrust, his cock hitting her G-spot with unerring accuracy.

"Nate," she breathed, her voice barely audible. "I'm going to..."

"I know," he said, his voice strained with his own impending release. "Come with me. Let's do this together."

She came with a sob, her body surrendering completely. Her walls clenched around him, pulling him deeper, and he groaned, his own release coming moments later. She felt him throb inside her, his warm release filling her, mixing with the others. He held her through it, his arms wrapped around her, his face buried in her neck.

Afterward, they lay tangled together, their breathing ragged. The candles had burned low, casting long shadows on the walls. Belinda felt a deep sense of peace, her body warm and satisfied, pleasantly sore in all the right places. She could feel their releases inside her, dripping down her thighs, a physical reminder of their connection.

Evan pulled her closer, his arm wrapping around her waist. "This is our family now."

Rayburn kissed her shoulder. "Our firehouse family."

Nate laughed softly. "Our permanent flames."

She smiled, feeling more complete than she ever had. She had her career, her purpose, and these three men who loved her. She was no longer the independent woman who avoided entanglements. She was something more, something stronger.

She was the center of their world, and they were the pillars that held her up.

"What happens now?" she asked, her voice sleepy.

Evan kissed her forehead. "We go on living. Working. Loving. Together."

Rayburn smiled. "We have each other. That's all we need."

Nate chuckled. "And we have the firehouse. And the barbecue. And all the chaos that comes with it."

She laughed, the sound muffled against Evan's chest. "I wouldn't have it any other way."

They talked for a while longer, about their plans for the weekend, about the upcoming charity event, about the small things that made up their life together. Belinda felt the last of her walls crumble away. She was home.

In the morning, she would go back to work, saving lives alongside these men. She would face the dangers and the challenges, but she would face them with them. She had found her balance, her home.

She drifted to sleep in their arms, the rings on her fingers a constant reminder of the bond they shared. She was complete.
