The Abduction and First Night
Sofia Reyes crouched behind a stack of crates in the dimly lit warehouse on the outskirts of Culiacán, her notebook balanced on her knee. The air hung heavy with the scent of diesel and damp earth, and her heart pounded as she listened to the low voices of the men she had tracked for weeks. Her sources had promised names, ledgers, proof of how the cartel laundered money through shell companies and corrupt officials. She scribbled furiously, the pen scratching against paper in the shadows. This story would expose them all. It had to.
A sudden crash shattered the quiet. Flashlights swept across the space, and boots thundered on concrete. Sofia froze, then bolted for the side door, but strong hands grabbed her from behind. She kicked and screamed, her dark wavy hair coming loose from its tie, but there were too many. They dragged her out into the night, her athletic frame twisting uselessly against their grip.
"Journalist bitch," one man spat, shoving her into the back of a black SUV. "You picked the wrong story."
The ride blurred into a haze of fear and calculation. She noted every turn, every detail. These were not street-level thugs. Their tactical gear and silent efficiency pointed to something higher. The compound they reached sprawled like a fortress, high walls topped with barbed wire, guards with automatic rifles at every gate. They hauled her inside, past men in tailored shirts and dark tactical clothing, and straight to a heavy wooden door.
The room beyond smelled of leather and cigar smoke. A towering figure stood by the desk, his scarred face half-lit by a single lamp. Javier Cruz, El Toro himself. She recognized him from grainy photos. Early forties, thick dark hair, intense eyes that raked over her like she was already his. His open shirt revealed tattoos across a muscular chest, and his presence filled the space with raw command.
"This is the one digging into our finances," the lead captor said, pushing her forward. "Thought we'd offer her as a warning. Your new comfort woman, boss."
Javier's gaze locked on her, a slow smile curving his lips. "Is that so? The idealistic little reporter. Sofia Reyes. You've been busy."
They stripped her of her bag and notebook but left her clothes for now. Sofia stood tall despite the tremor in her legs, her sharp brown eyes scanning the room. Two other men lingered near the door, one lean and quiet in dark tactical gear, the other broader and watchful. Hierarchy already forming in her mind. Javier at the top. These were his inner circle.
"You think you can threaten me into silence?" she said, voice steady even as her pulse raced. "I have sources. They'll notice I'm gone."
Javier laughed, a booming sound that made her flinch. "Sources? Your sources are dead or running. You're mine now. A warning to anyone who pokes around Sinaloa business." He circled her, close enough that she caught the heat of his body. "Strip."
She hesitated, and rough hands yanked her shirt open. Buttons scattered. Humiliation burned hot in her cheeks, but she forced herself to watch, to catalog. The quiet man by the door shifted, his hazel eyes flicking over her olive skin and curves. Raul, someone had called him earlier. Enforcer, maybe. She filed it away.
Javier grabbed her chin, forcing her gaze up. "You work for me now. Comfort. Information. Whatever I want. Fight, and it gets worse. Understand?"
"Go to hell," she spat, but the words lacked bite. Her mind raced. Survival first. Then she would find a way to turn this.
He shoved her onto the leather couch, his large hands pinning her wrists above her head. "Interrogation starts now. Who are your contacts? What do you know about the accounts?"
Questions came fast, laced with threats. She answered some, deflected others, her journalist instincts kicking in even as fear clawed at her throat. Javier's grip tightened. He leaned down, his mouth brushing her ear. "You're brave. I like that. But let's see how long it lasts."
His free hand slid down her body, rough and possessive, cupping her breast through her bra before tearing it away. Sofia gasped, the cool air hitting her skin, but a traitorous spark flared low in her belly. She hated it. Hated how her body responded to the dominance even as her mind recoiled.
"Look at you," Javier growled, pinching a nipple until she arched. "Already getting wet for the man who owns you. Pathetic little whore." He pushed her legs apart, fingers delving between her thighs without preamble. She was slick despite everything, and he laughed darkly. "See? Your cunt doesn't lie."
Sofia bit her lip, refusing to moan, but the sensation built anyway. He worked her methodically, thumb circling her clit while two thick fingers thrust inside. Humiliation twisted with unwanted pleasure, her hips twitching against her will. She noted the way the other men watched, especially Raul, whose scarred hands flexed at his sides. Power structure. Lust as leverage. She could use this.
"Tell me about the ledgers," Javier demanded, adding a third finger, stretching her. "Names. Dates."
She gave him fragments, enough to buy time, her voice breathy now. "There's... a politician. Corrupt. Pays for protection." The admission slipped out as his fingers curled just right, sending sparks through her. Shame flooded her, but beneath it something sharper stirred. She was cataloging them even as he used her.
Javier freed his cock, thick and heavy, and pressed it against her entrance. "Good girl. Now take it." He thrust in hard, filling her in one stroke. Sofia cried out, the mix of pain and fullness overwhelming. He set a punishing rhythm, one hand on her throat, the other gripping her hip. "You're mine to fuck. Mine to break."
Each snap of his hips dragged a reluctant sound from her. Pleasure built despite the humiliation, her body betraying her with every slick slide. She focused on details through the haze. Javier's dominance was absolute but predictable. The quiet enforcer in the corner radiated controlled intensity. She could map this. Seduce it. Turn it.
Javier grunted, animalistic, chasing his release. He pulled out at the last moment, spilling across her stomach and breasts, marking her. "First night," he said, panting. "Get used to it. You'll learn to beg."
He left her there, slick and shaking, as the men filed out. Only Raul lingered a second longer, his intense hazel eyes meeting hers with something unreadable. Sofia pulled her torn clothes around her, mind already turning. She had survived the first night. Now she would learn their weaknesses, one by one.
The door closed. Alone, she whispered to herself, "This won't break me. I'll break them instead."
