Read-Through Heat
The Community Theater of Oakwood smelled like dust and ambition. Catrine Bannon loved it. She sat in the circle of folding chairs, the script heavy in her lap, her auburn hair pulled back in a hasty ponytail. Neil was up in the booth, checking the levels on the microphones. She caught his eye and he gave her a small, steady smile. Her husband. Her rock. Her stage manager.
They had been trying for a baby for fourteen months. Every negative test felt like a small death. Neil was kind about it. He held her when she cried. He said they had time. But Catrine was an actress. She knew when a scene was going nowhere.
Tonight was the first full cast read-through for The Crucible. She was playing Elizabeth Proctor. A woman wronged. A woman who carried a heavy truth. Catrine felt the irony settle in her bones.
The door at the back of the theater creaked open. A draft of cool evening air swept in. And then he walked in. Neilan Meanler.
He was not a small man. He filled the doorway, tall and broad shouldered, his silvering temples catching the ghost light on the stage. He had a presence that shifted the air in the room. Conversations faltered. Pages stopped rustling.
He smiled, a slow, charming thing. "Sorry I'm late. Traffic was a beast."
His voice. God, his voice. It was a low rumble, a cello string plucked in a quiet room. It vibrated somewhere deep in Catrine's chest. She felt it in her ribs. In her stomach. Lower.
The director, a frantic woman named Patricia, introduced them. Neilan was playing John Proctor. He would be her husband. On stage.
They read Act One. Neilan didn't just read the lines. He inhabited them. He gave them weight and breath and a dark, magnetic pull. When he said "I'll tell you what's walking Salem," his eyes found Catrine's across the circle. It was just a glance. A professional acknowledgment. But it felt like a hand on her skin.
Catrine's voice came out thin. She fumbled a line. "I have kept... I have kept no... no secret from you."
Neilan's lips twitched. He knew. He knew she was flustered. He leaned forward slightly, his script dropping an inch. "You are a cold woman, Elizabeth," he said, and the line was no longer a line. It was an accusation. A judgment. And it made Catrine's thighs press together under her skirt.
What is this? she thought. He's just an actor. A professional. You're married. You love Neil.
But her body didn't care about logic. Her body was listening to that voice. It was picturing those hands holding the script. It was wondering what they would feel like on her waist. On her hip. On her throat.
She spent the rest of the read-through in a haze. She heard her own lines come out, but she didn't feel them. She was acutely aware of every small sound Neilan made. The shift of his weight in the chair. The tap of his finger on the page. The low, dark chuckle at a line of dry humor.
When the read-through ended, the cast dispersed. Neilan was surrounded by people, shaking hands, laughing. Catrine gathered her things quickly. She felt his gaze on her back as she walked toward the booth.
Neil was packing up his headset. "You were off tonight," he said gently. "Nervous?"
"No," she said. The word felt like a lie. "I mean, yes. It's a big role."
Neil reached over and squeezed her hand. His touch was familiar. Safe. It didn't make her breath catch. It made her feel guilty for not wanting it more.
She couldn't stop thinking about Neilan's voice. The way it had wrapped around her. The way it had made her feel seen in a way that was terrifying and exhilarating.
Neil drove. Catrine sat in the passenger seat, still in her costume from the fitting earlier that week. A simple colonial dress. It felt like armor. Or a cage.
Their apartment was quiet. Neil made tea. Catrine stood in the middle of the living room, still in the dress.
"Cam?" Neil came up behind her, his hands on her shoulders. "You're shaking."
She turned. "I need you."
The words came out raw. Neil's eyes widened. She didn't usually initiate. She didn't usually demand.
She kissed him. Hard. It was not a tender kiss. It was hungry, desperate. She pushed him toward the bedroom.
"Catrine, slow down," he said, but his body was already responding.
"No," she said. "I don't want slow."
Her dress came off in a rush. She pulled at his belt. They fell onto the bed, a tangle of limbs and need.
Neil was inside her. It was good. It was always good. But tonight, it wasn't enough.
"Talk to me," she said, her voice a breathless command. "Tell me what you saw tonight."
Neil's rhythm faltered. "What I saw?"
"At the read-through. Tell me about him."
Neil went still. For a moment, she thought she had broken something. Then he moved again, deeper, harder. "You mean Meanler?"
"Yes." The word was a confession and a plea.
"He has a good voice," Neil said, his voice tight. "Commanding."
"Yes," Catrine gasped. "Yes."
"He looked at you. Like he knew you."
"Yes."
Neil's hand found her hair, pulling her head back. "Did you like it?"
"I'm sorry," she whispered. "I'm so sorry."
"Don't be sorry. Tell me."
She closed her eyes. She let Neilan's voice fill her head. "He said 'you are a cold woman, Elizabeth.' But I'm not cold. I'm burning. I'm burning for him."
Neil groaned. He moved faster, harder. "What else?"
"His hands. I thought about his hands. On my legs. On my stomach."
"Here?" Neil's hand pressed flat on her belly.
"Yes. Oh, God, yes."
She was coming apart. The guilt and the desire were the same thing now. She couldn't separate them. Neil was inside her, but it was Neilan's voice she heard. It was Neilan's dark eyes she saw.
"I want him to fill me," she sobbed. "I want him to give me what you can't."
The words hung in the air. A truth too sharp to take back.
Neil came with a shuddering groan. She followed a moment later, her body clenching around him, her mind a storm of shame and satisfaction.
They lay in the dark, tangled together. Neil's hand was on her stomach, tracing small circles.
"I'm sorry," she whispered.
"Don't be," he said. But his voice was quiet. Far away.
Catrine stared at the ceiling. She could still hear Neilan's voice. She could still feel the weight of his gaze. And she knew, with a certainty that terrified her, that this was only the beginning.
The read-through was over. But the heat had just started.

Dressing Room Offer
The dressing room smelled like hairspray and old wood. Catrine sat at the mirror, still in her costume, staring at her reflection without seeing it. Her skin felt too warm, her pulse too quick, and every time she closed her eyes she heard Neilan's voice from the read-through, that deep commanding timber wrapping around every line like a caress.
She should have gone home an hour ago. Neil would be waiting, maybe with dinner, definitely with that quiet patient look he got when she was late. But she couldn't make herself leave. She kept thinking about the way Neilan had looked at her during the final scene, his eyes holding hers like they shared a secret no one else in the room could hear.
The knock made her jump.
"Come in," she said, expecting one of the other actors or maybe the stage manager with a schedule change.
The door opened and Neilan stepped inside. He filled the small room, his broad shoulders brushing the frame, his presence pressing against her like a physical force. He closed the door behind him and the click of the latch sounded final.
"You're still here," he said.
"I was just..." She gestured vaguely at the mirror. "Thinking."
"I know." He moved closer, slow and deliberate, like he was crossing a stage. "I've been thinking too. About you. About us."
"There's no us." The words came out weak, unconvincing.
"Isn't there?" He stopped beside her chair, close enough that she could smell his cologne, something warm and expensive. "I saw your face during the read-through. I saw your body when I spoke those lines. You were wet, Catrine. Don't tell me you weren't."
Her breath caught. She wanted to deny it, to say something proper and professional, but the truth burned in her throat. She was wet now just from him standing here, just from the memory of his voice rolling through her like thunder.
"I'm married."
"I know." He reached down and took her hand, pulling her gently to her feet. "Neil is a good man. I can see that. But he can't give you what you need."
"You don't know what I need."
"I think I do." He turned her so she faced the mirror, standing behind her, his chest against her back. "Look at yourself."
She looked. Her eyes were wide, her cheeks flushed pink. Her lips had parted without her permission, soft and full and slightly swollen from where she'd been biting them during rehearsal.
"You're an actress," he said, his voice low and intimate against her ear. "You understand transformation. You understand becoming someone else to find the truth. That's what I'm offering you. A transformation."
His hands settled on her hips, light at first, then firmer. She should have pulled away. She should have told him to stop. But her body leaned back into him like it had a will of its own.
"I want to touch you," he said. "I want to feel how wet you are for me. But I need you to say it first. I need you to admit what you want."
She shook her head, but the motion was small, uncertain.
"Say it, Catrine." His voice dropped lower, softer, somehow more commanding. "Tell me you want my hands on you."
The words came out before she could stop them. "I want your hands."
His right hand slid down, past her hip, over her thigh, then up under the hem of her costume skirt. His fingers found her through her underwear, pressing against the damp fabric, and she gasped.
"That's it," he murmured. "That's my good girl."
He didn't push inside. Not yet. He just pressed, slow circles through the silk, building pressure, building need. She gripped the edge of the dressing table and watched in the mirror as his hand moved between her legs, watched her own face go slack with pleasure.
"You remember the scene," he said, his voice shifting into that performance register, that rich commanding tone that had undone her at the read-through. "Act two, scene four. When I tell you that I've wanted you since the first moment I saw you."
He was reciting lines. His lines from the play. But he was saying them to her, for her, while his fingers worked her through her underwear.
"I thought about you every night," he said, the words familiar but transformed, intimate. "I imagined your body beneath mine, your voice crying out my name."
His fingers hooked the edge of her underwear and pulled it aside. The first touch of his bare fingers against her flesh made her moan. He was warm, deliberate, tracing her folds like he was memorizing them. She could feel herself growing slicker under his touch, her body betraying every objection her mind tried to form.
"I dreamt of filling you," he continued, still in that performance voice, but rougher now, more real. "Of watching you grow round with my child."
She bucked against his hand. The word hit her like a shock, child, his child, and something deep and primal opened inside her.
"You felt it too," he said, dropping back to his natural voice. "I can feel it. The way your body responds to me. The way you clench when I talk about breeding you."
He slid one finger inside her, slow and deep, and she cried out, her head falling back against his shoulder. He was thick and insistent, curling against her inner wall with a practiced precision that made her toes curl inside her costume boots.
"That's it. Let me feel you." He pumped his finger, then added a second, stretching her, filling her. "You're so tight. So perfect. You were made for this, Catrine. Made to be filled."
She was shaking, her legs trembling. Her hands were white-knuckled on the table. The pleasure was building too fast, too intense, and she couldn't think, couldn't catch her breath, could only feel his fingers inside her and his voice in her ear.
"I want to give you a child," he said, and the words broke through her haze. "I want to breed you properly. To fuck you full of my seed and watch you grow heavy with it. To see you on that stage, pregnant with my baby, while the audience watches and doesn't know."
She should have been horrified. She should have pulled away, slapped him, called security. But instead she felt herself clench around his fingers, felt a fresh wave of wetness coat his hand.
"You want that too," he said. "I can feel how much you want it. Your body is begging me, even if your mouth won't say it."
His thumb found her clit while his fingers worked inside her, and she whimpered. The dual sensation was too much, not enough, everything at once. He circled that swollen bud with maddening patience while his fingers curled and pressed against the spot that made her vision blur.
"Tell me," he whispered. "Tell me what you want."
"I can't," she gasped.
"You can. You will." His thumb pressed harder, his fingers drove deeper. "Say it."
"You," she heard herself say. "I want you. I want your baby."
"Good girl." He rewarded her with faster strokes, his thumb working her clit in tight circles while his fingers pumped in a steady rhythm. "Now come for me. Come on my fingers and then we'll talk."
She felt it building, a wave starting somewhere deep in her core, radiating outward through her thighs, her belly, her spine. Her breath came in short sharp bursts. Her hips moved against his hand without her permission, chasing the sensation, chasing release.
"That's it," he coaxed. "Let go. Let me feel you fall apart."
She came. It ripped through her like a wave, violent and unexpected, her whole body convulsing against his hand. She cried out, a raw broken sound that echoed off the narrow walls, and he kept pumping through it, drawing it out, wringing every drop of pleasure from her until she was gasping, boneless, barely able to keep her grip on the table.
He didn't stop. His fingers slowed but didn't withdraw, still moving inside her as the aftershocks rolled through her body in diminishing waves. She twitched and clenched around him, oversensitive, and he groaned low in her ear at the feel of it.
"That's my girl," he murmured. "That's what I wanted. To feel you come apart on my hand. To feel how badly your body needs this."
He pulled his fingers out slowly and she watched in the mirror as he brought them to his mouth, tasting her, his eyes never leaving hers. His tongue traced the length of his fingers, deliberate and obscene, and her spent body throbbed at the sight.
"You taste like need," he said. "Like surrender."
She turned to face him, her legs still weak, her mind spinning. "This is insane. I don't even know you."
"You know me better than you think. You know me through the work. Through the words. Through the way your body responds to mine." He cupped her face, his thumb tracing her cheek. "I'm not asking for forever, Catrine. I'm asking for now. For this production. For the chance to give you what you've been praying for."
"You don't know what I've been praying for."
"Don't I?" His eyes held hers. "You've been trying to conceive with Neil. Months of trying, of hoping, of disappointment. And every time you fail, a little piece of you dies."
Tears burned in her eyes. How did he know? She had never told anyone outside her marriage, never spoken the words aloud to anyone but Neil.
"I saw it in your face during the read-through," he said. "The way you looked at me when I spoke about passion, about creation. You want to be filled, Catrine. You want to be fertile. You want to carry life inside you."
"I want a child," she whispered. "With my husband."
"And you'll have one. With Neil. But I can give you the seed. I can give you the pregnancy. And then you and Neil can raise the baby together. No one has to know but us."
She pulled away, pacing the small room, her hands running through her hair. "You're asking me to cheat on my husband."
"I'm asking you to let me help you. To let me give you something your husband can't." He stepped toward her, not crowding, just present. "I've done this before. I've helped couples who were struggling. It's not about love, Catrine. It's about biology. About need."
"And what do you get out of it?"
His smile was slow, knowing. "I get to watch you bloom. I get to feel your body change, your breasts swell, your belly grow. I get to fuck a pregnant woman on stage every night and know that I put that baby inside her."
The crudeness of his words should have repelled her. Instead it made her wet again, made her thighs clench together at the image he painted.
"You're sick," she said, but her voice was weak.
"I'm honest. There's a difference." He closed the distance between them. "Tell me you don't want this. Tell me you haven't imagined it. Tell me you didn't touch yourself last night thinking about my voice."
She couldn't. Because she had. Because she had gone home and fucked Neil while imagining Neilan's hands on her, Neilan's voice in her ear, Neilan's cock filling her instead of her husband's.
"I can't," she breathed.
"You can't tell me no, or you can't say you haven't thought about it?"
"Both." The word broke from her like a confession.
He pulled her close, his arms wrapping around her, his mouth against her forehead. "Then let me take care of you. Let me breed you. Let me make you a mother."
She stood in his arms, shaking. Tears slipped down her cheeks. The guilt was a knife in her chest, but the desire was a fire in her blood, and the fire was winning.
"What do I tell Neil?" she whispered.
"Tell him the truth. Or don't. That's your choice." He tilted her chin up, forcing her to meet his eyes. "But if you want this, if you really want this, I need you to say yes. I need you to beg me for it."
The word stuck in her throat. Beg. He wanted her to beg to be bred. He wanted her to lower every defense and admit how desperately she needed him.
"Please," she said, the word barely audible.
"Please what?"
"Please breed me." Her voice cracked. "Please give me a child."
"Again."
"Please. I need you inside me. I need your seed. I need to be full of you." The words poured out of her, ugly and raw and achingly honest. "Please breed me, Neilan. Please make me pregnant."
He kissed her then, deep and claiming, his tongue sliding into her mouth like he owned her. And in that moment, she let him. She surrendered. She became his.
When he pulled back, his eyes were dark, his breathing heavy. "Tomorrow. After rehearsal. I'll have the green room ready."
She nodded, unable to speak.
"And Catrine?" He paused at the door. "Don't fuck Neil tonight. I want you empty. I want to be the first to fill you."
The door clicked shut behind him.
She stood alone in the dressing room, her costume rumpled, her underwear soaked through. Her body was still trembling from an orgasm she hadn't asked for. She looked at herself in the mirror and saw a stranger. A woman who had just agreed to let another man impregnate her.
She should call Neil. She should tell him everything. She should go home and pretend this never happened.
Instead she sank into her chair and touched her fingers to her lips, tasting Neilan on her skin, and waited for tomorrow.
Opening Night After
The applause was still a living thing, vibrating through the floorboards and the old plaster walls of the backstage corridor. Catrine stood in her costume, a simple cotton dress that made her look like a girl from a different century, her heart hammering against her ribs. She had done it. She had opened. The words had come, the blocking had been perfect, and the chemistry with Neilan had been so electric she could still feel the static on her skin.
She found him in the shadows near the prop table. He was still in his suit, the jacket off, his sleeves rolled to the elbow. His dark eyes caught her, and he didn't smile. He just looked at her like he was seeing something no one else could see.
"You were perfect," he said. His voice was low, a rumble that she felt in her chest.
"I was," she said, and she meant it. She had never felt more alive on a stage.
"Good." He took her wrist, his fingers warm and firm. "Because I've been waiting for this all night."
He pulled her down the narrow hall, past the dressing rooms, past the chorus girls giggling and patting each other on the back. He opened a door she had never noticed before, a plain wooden door marked "PROPS - STAGE LEFT." The room inside was small, barely larger than a closet. Shelves lined the walls, stacked with fake weapons, teacups, books, and a single flickering bulb overhead.
He closed the door behind them and the world outside vanished. The applause became a distant murmur, like the sound of the ocean trapped in a shell. The air smelled of dust and paint, something older underneath, like wood and sweat.
"Turn around," he said.
She did. She faced the shelves, her hands resting on a stack of folded velvet curtains. She could feel him behind her, the warmth of his body, the weight of his gaze.
"You know what this is," he said. It wasn't a question.
"Yes." Her voice was barely a whisper.
"Say it."
She swallowed. "You're going to breed me."
His hands found her hips, sliding down to the hem of her dress. He lifted it slowly, the fabric rustling over her thighs. The air was cool on her skin, but his fingers were hot. He traced the edge of her underwear, a simple pair of cotton panties that she had worn for the role.
"You wore these for me," he said. "You knew."
"I hoped."
He pulled the panties down, letting them fall to her ankles. She stepped out of them, her legs trembling. He pressed his body against her, his cock hard through his trousers, grinding against the curve of her ass.
"I'm not going to be gentle," he said. "You don't need gentle. You need to be filled."
"Yes."
He unbuckled his belt, the sound sharp in the confined space. She heard the zipper, the rustle of fabric, and then the heat of him, bare against her skin. He didn't put on a condom. She knew he wouldn't. That was the point.
He guided himself to her entrance, not pushing, just resting there, letting her feel the weight of what was about to happen. She was already wet, had been wet since the final scene, since the moment he grabbed her arm on stage and pulled her close for the scripted kiss that had felt like a brand.
"This is what the play was for," he said, his mouth close to her ear. "All those rehearsals, all those nights. The words were just an excuse to get you here."
She whimpered, pressing back against him. The head of his cock slipped between her folds, slick with her arousal, and she gasped at the contact. He held her there, just the tip inside, stretching her opening while his hands gripped her hips to keep her from pushing back.
"Tell me you want it," he said.
"I want it." Her voice broke. "I want you inside me."
He pushed inside her in one slow, steady thrust. She gasped, her hands gripping the velvet curtains, her fingers digging into the soft fabric. He was thick, and he filled her completely, stretching her in a way that Neil never could. She felt every inch of him as he sank deeper, the pressure building as her body adjusted to accommodate him. He paused when he was fully seated, his hips flush against her ass, and she could feel him pulsing inside her, alive and insistent.
"Look at you," he said, his voice strained. "Taking me so well. You were made for this."
He withdrew slowly until only the tip remained, then drove back in with a controlled force that made her cry out. He set a rhythm, deliberate and claiming, each stroke bottoming out deep within her. The room was silent except for the wet sounds of their bodies meeting and her ragged breathing. He reached around and pressed his hand against her lower belly, feeling himself move inside her.
"I can feel myself in you," he said. "Can you feel it?"
She nodded, tears pricking at her eyes. She could feel him everywhere, so deep, so present. He was in her, and she didn't want him to leave.
"You're going to carry my child," he said, his voice a low growl against her neck. "You're going to grow round with it, and everyone will see. The audience will see your belly swelling under your costume, and they'll know. They'll know you were bred."
The words sent a jolt through her, and she moaned, her body clenching around him. He groaned in response, his pace quickening.
"That's it," he said. "That's my good girl. Let me feel you."
He shifted his angle, lifting her slightly onto her toes with each thrust, and the new position let him slide even deeper. She bit down on her lip to keep from screaming as he hit something inside her that made her vision blur. His hand slid from her belly up to her breast, still covered by the cotton dress, and he squeezed roughly, pinching her nipple through the fabric.
"You're close," he said. It wasn't a question. "I can feel you tightening around me."
"Please," she gasped. "Please, I need..."
"I know what you need." He reached down with his other hand and found her clit, swollen and desperate. He circled it with his fingers, matching the rhythm of his thrusts, and she shattered.
Her orgasm hit her like a wave, crashing through her body in pulses. She clenched around him, rhythmic and uncontrollable, and she heard him curse under his breath as her walls milked him. He drove into her harder, his hips slapping against her ass. The sound was obscene in the small room, a rhythm that matched the beating of her heart. She was lost, drowning in the sensation, in the knowledge of what he was doing.
"I'm going to fill you," he said, his breathing ragged. "I'm going to pump you full of my seed, and you're going to take it. Every drop."
"Yes," she begged. "Please. Please."
He drove into her harder, his grip on her hips tightening. She felt the tension building in him, the way his body tensed, the way his rhythm faltered and became more urgent.
"Now," he said. "I'm coming now."
He thrust deep and held, and she felt it. A hot pulse, a rush of warmth flooding her. It was more intense than she had imagined. She felt him twitching inside her, emptying himself in thick spurts that seemed to go on forever. Each pulse sent another wave of warmth deeper into her, and she cried out again as a second orgasm rippled through her, triggered by the sheer intensity of the moment. Her body milked him, drawing him deeper, taking everything he gave.
He stayed inside her for a long time, both of them breathing hard. The applause had faded. The theater was quiet. She could feel his seed leaking out around him, running down her thigh in a warm trickle.
He pulled out slowly, and she felt the loss immediately. She was empty, but she was also full. She could feel him inside her still, a spreading warmth that seemed to settle low in her belly.
He turned her around, cupping her face in his hands. He kissed her, soft and deep, a stark contrast to the roughness of the act. She could taste the salt of her own tears on his lips.
"That was the first," he said. "There will be many more."
She nodded, unable to speak. Her legs were weak, her body humming.
He found a rag, damp from cleaning props, and gently wiped her thighs. The gesture was tender, almost reverent. Then he helped her pull up her underwear, the cotton already damp.
"You have a curtain call," he said. "Go."
She walked out of the prop closet on unsteady legs. The corridor was empty. She made her way to the stage, where the cast was gathering for the final bow. She took her place, and the curtain rose.
The applause was thunderous. She smiled, she bowed, she blew a kiss to the audience. But all she could think about was the warmth between her legs, the feeling of him still inside her, the knowledge that she was walking on stage full of his seed.
She saw Neil in the wings, his eyes on her. There was a new look in them. Not jealousy. Not anger. Something else. A hunger. He knew. He had to know. She could feel it in the way he watched her.
The curtain fell. The cast dispersed. She stood alone on the stage, the lights still warm on her face.
She touched her belly. She wondered if this was the moment. If this was the night that changed everything.
Tomorrow she would do it all again. She would rehearse, she would perform, and she would let him take her in the dark. She would let him fill her, over and over, until her body told the story that the play could only hint at.
She walked off the stage, her hand still on her belly, the warmth of him still inside her.
And she smiled.
Stage Manager's Discovery
Neil was quiet when she got home. That was the first sign.
Catrine floated through the front door still buzzing from Neilan's cum inside her, from the way he'd filled her on the prop closet floor, from the secret weight of his seed settling deep in her womb. She was still wearing her stage makeup, still smelling of the theater. Of him.
Neil sat at the kitchen table in his blacks, a single piece of paper in front of him.
"You're up late," she said, her voice too bright. Too guilty.
He looked at her. Those gray eyes were calm, but she knew him. She knew the stillness before a storm.
"I was going through the schedule for next week," he said. "Checking the prop inventory."
Her stomach dropped.
"I found something in the closet, Catrine. Something that doesn't belong."
She stood frozen in the doorway. Her body remembered every second of what had happened. His hands on her waist. His mouth at her throat. The way Neilan had pushed into her like claiming territory.
"Neil, I..."
"Don't lie to me." His voice was soft, not angry. That was worse. "Please. Just tell me the truth."
She couldn't breathe. The guilt crushed her chest, but beneath it there was something else. Relief. Finally, someone else knew. She didn't have to carry it alone anymore.
"It's true," she whispered. "All of it."
Neil closed his eyes. When he opened them, they were wet.
"I thought you wanted a baby with me," he said. "I thought that was our plan."
"It was. It is." She moved toward him, desperate to make him understand. "But you said yourself. The tests. The low count. I've been trying for two years, Neil. Two years of appointments and temperature charts and scheduled sex that felt like a chore. And then Neilan walked in and he looked at me like I was the only woman in the world and he offered me something I couldn't refuse."
"He offered to fuck you."
"He offered to give me a child."
The words hung between them like a curtain.
Neil stood up slowly. He walked to the counter, poured himself a glass of water, didn't drink it.
"And you said yes."
"I said yes."
"Without talking to me."
"I was going to tell you." She hated how weak her voice sounded. "I was going to find the right moment. But then opening night happened and he was so commanding and I couldn't think. I just let him take me. I wanted him to take me."
Neil set the glass down. His hands were shaking.
"Do you love him?"
"No." She said it without hesitation. "I love you. I married you. I want your child. But you can't give me that, Neil. You can't give me that one thing and Neilan can. And I know it's selfish and I know it's wrong but I want it so badly I can taste it."
She was crying now. Tears streaked through her stage makeup.
Neil crossed the room and took her face in his hands. He wiped the tears with his thumbs.
"Show me," he said.
"What?"
"Take me to the theater. Show me what happened. I want to see where he had you."
Her heart hammered. "Neil, I don't think that's a good idea."
"I'm not asking as your husband. I'm asking as your stage manager. I need to understand the blocking."
There was something in his eyes she hadn't seen before. Something sharp and curious.
"Please," he said. "I need to see."
The theater was dark when they arrived.
Neil unlocked the stage door with his master key. The building smelled of dust and old wood and the particular ambition that lived in every community playhouse. Catrine led him through the wings, past the set pieces, toward the prop closet.
She opened the door. The space was small, barely enough room for two people. The floor was still rumpled from where she'd lain.
"Here," she said. "This is where he took me."
Neil stepped inside. He touched the walls, the shelves of props, the floor.
"Tell me what happened."
So she did. She told him about Neilan's voice, about the way he commanded her, about the filthy things he said while he filled her. She told him how she'd begged for his seed.
Neil listened without interrupting. When she finished, he was hard.
"I didn't expect that," he said, looking down at himself. "I thought I'd be angry. I am angry. But I'm also something else."
"What?"
"Curious." He met her eyes. "I want to see it. I want to watch him take you. I want to be there."
Her breath caught. "You want to watch?"
"I want to direct." A ghost of a smile crossed his face. "I'm a stage manager. I know how to set a scene."
The next evening, after the show, Neilan found them in the green room.
He walked in still in costume, his stage presence filling the small space. He saw Neil sitting in the corner chair and stopped.
"Neil."
"Neilan."
The two men looked at each other. Catrine stood between them, her body trembling.
"He knows," she said. "Everything."
Neilan nodded slowly. He didn't look afraid. He looked relieved.
"Then I owe you an apology," he said to Neil. "I should have come to you first. I overstepped."
"You did," Neil said. "But I'm not here to fight. I'm here to negotiate."
Neilan raised an eyebrow. "Negotiate what?"
"Terms." Neil stood up. He walked to Catrine, put his hand on her shoulder. "She's my wife. If you're going to breed her, I want to be part of it. I want to watch. I want to set the stage. I want to make sure it's done right."
Neilan considered this. His dark eyes moved between them.
"And if I say no?"
"Then I take her home and we never see you again. We find another way."
Catrine's heart lurched. "Neil, no."
"It's his choice." Neil's voice was firm. "Either we do this my way, or we don't do it at all."
Neilan was quiet for a long moment. Then he smiled.
"You're not what I expected, stage manager."
"Neither are you, actor."
Neilan stepped closer. He looked at Catrine, at the way she leaned into Neil's touch.
"You want this?" he asked her. "You want your husband to watch?"
She thought about it. About Neil's eyes on her while Neilan claimed her. About the shame and the heat and the exposure.
"Yes," she whispered. "I want you both."
Neilan nodded. "Then we have a deal. But I have conditions."
"Name them."
"After every show. In this theater. You set the stage, you watch, you direct if you want. But when I take her, she's mine. I decide the pace, the position, the words. You're the audience, not the lead."
Neil's jaw tightened. "And afterward?"
"She's yours. You take her home, you clean her up, you hold her. I don't follow. I don't interfere with your marriage outside these walls."
They shook hands.
Catrine watched her two men make an agreement about her body. She should have felt objectified. Instead, she felt exactly where she belonged.
The first ritual took place three nights later.
Neil had transformed the green room into something between a boudoir and a stage. He'd brought pillows from home, set up a single chair in the corner, adjusted the lighting so it fell warm and golden on the couch.
Catrine sat on the couch in her dressing gown. Neilan stood by the door in his costume trousers and open shirt. Neil took his seat.
"Whenever you're ready," Neil said.
Neilan crossed to Catrine. He didn't speak. He just looked at her, his eyes traveling down her body, claiming her without touching.
"You're beautiful," he said. "Do you know that?"
She nodded.
"Use your words."
"Yes, Neilan. I know."
"Good." He untied her robe, pushed it off her shoulders. She was naked underneath. "Lie back."
She obeyed. The couch was soft beneath her. Neilan knelt between her legs, spreading them wide.
Neil shifted in his chair. She could feel his gaze on her, a physical weight.
"You're watching," Neilan said. "You see how she opens for me?"
"I see."
"She's wet already. Look at her."
Neilan touched her, his fingers sliding through her folds. She gasped. The sound echoed in the quiet room.
"Tell your husband what you want."
She looked at Neil. His eyes were dark, hungry.
"I want him inside me," she said. "I want him to fill me."
"Why?"
"Because you can't." The words came out raw, honest. "Because we've tried and tried and you can't give me what I need. But he can. He can."
Neil didn't flinch. He nodded slowly.
"Then take it," he said. "Take what I can't give you."
Neilan lined himself up. He entered her in one smooth thrust.
She cried out.
"There she is," Neilan murmured. "There's my fertile little actress."
He began to move. Slow, deep, deliberate. Each thrust pushed her further into the couch cushions. Each retreat pulled her back to the edge.
Neil watched without blinking.
"How does she feel?" he asked.
"Tight," Neilan said. "Wet. Perfect. She was made for this, stage manager. Made to be filled."
"I know."
"You've never seen her like this, have you? Never seen her take a cock like she was born for it."
"No." Neil's voice was strained. "I haven't."
"Watch her eyes. Watch them roll back when I hit that spot."
Catrine was lost. The two of them talking about her, describing her, using her body as their conversation piece. It should have been degrading. Instead, it was the most alive she'd ever felt.
Neilan angled his hips and she screamed.
"There it is," he said. "Right there. You feel that, stage manager?"
"I feel it."
"She's going to come. I can feel her tightening. You want to see her come on my cock?"
"Yes."
"Then tell her. Tell her to come for you."
Neil leaned forward. His voice was soft and commanding.
"Come for me, Catrine. Let go. Let him take you."
She broke. The orgasm crashed through her, wave after wave. Neilan kept thrusting, kept talking, kept claiming her through the aftershocks.
"Now I'm going to fill you," he said. "I'm going to put my seed in your fertile little womb. You ready?"
"Yes," she sobbed. "Please. Fill me."
He drove deep and held. She felt the hot pulse of him inside her, felt his cock twitch and empty. Felt the weight of his release.
When he pulled out, his cum ran down her thighs.
Neil stood up slowly. He crossed to the couch and looked down at his wife, her body marked by another man.
"Beautiful," he said. "Absolutely beautiful."
He knelt beside her and kissed her forehead.
"Let's get you home."
That night, Neil held her in their bed. His arms around her, his body warm against hers.
"Was it hard?" she asked. "Watching?"
"Yes." His voice was soft in the dark. "But it was also the most incredible thing I've ever seen. You were so alive. So present."
"I felt you watching. It made it better."
"I know." He kissed her shoulder. "And I know this makes me strange. But I want to do it again. I want to watch him breed you night after night. I want to see your belly grow knowing I helped make it happen."
She turned in his arms. "You did. You made it possible."
"We're a team, Catrine. You, me, and him. For as long as it takes."
She kissed him then, soft and deep. She tasted herself on his lips. The three of them. It was going to work.
She fell asleep in his arms, still full of Neilan's seed, dreaming of the baby they would have together. All of them. None of them alone.
The curtain had risen on a new act of their marriage.
And she was ready to play her part.
Curtain Call Claim
The green room couch had become our altar.
Each night between acts, Neilan found me there. He'd discover me waiting, legs parted for him, still costumed, still half in character, still humming with the audience's applause. The ritual had grown as dependable as the curtain rising.
"Ready for me, leading lady?" he'd ask, fingers already working his belt buckle.
And I was ready. Always ready. My body had learned to anticipate his, to ache for the moment when he'd push inside me and fill the emptiness that no amount of stage lights could touch.
But this week was different. This week I was late.
I stood in the bathroom of the theater, holding the small plastic stick in my trembling hands. Two pink lines. So clear, so definite. The word I'd been hoping for, dreading, needing: pregnant.
My reflection stared back at me from the mirror. Same hazel eyes, same auburn hair, the familiar face I'd known for thirty years. But a shift had occurred. A new thing had taken root.
I tucked the test into my makeup kit and walked back into the theater, past the empty seats, past the set pieces waiting for tonight's performance. Neil was at the soundboard, checking levels. Neilan was in the wings, warming up his voice.
They both needed to know.
But first, I had to get through tonight's show. The show where my body would begin its transformation into a visible thing. A thing the audience would see.
The wardrobe mistress found me before curtain.
"Catrine, darling, we need to let out your dress. Just a little. You've been filling out."
I smiled, that secret smile I'd been practicing. "Of course. Whatever you think is best."
She pinned and adjusted, her hands moving over my curves with professional efficiency. I watched in the mirror as my costume transformed, accommodating the life growing inside me. The fabric pulled tighter across my stomach, my breasts straining against the bodice.
"You look beautiful," she said. "Radiant, actually."
"I feel radiant," I said, and it was true.
That night, I performed like I'd never performed before. Every line, every gesture carried new meaning. When Neilan's character courted mine on stage, I felt the real weight of his words, the real promise of his touch. The audience saw chemistry. I saw the father of my child.
During intermission, he pulled me into the prop closet. Not the green room. A different space. An urgent one.
"You're different tonight," he said, his hands already on my waist, feeling the slight swell. "What is it, Catrine?"
I showed him the test.
His face changed. A softening and sharpening happened at once. He looked at me with new eyes, with ancient ones.
"Mine," he said.
"Ours," I corrected, but he was already shaking his head.
"Yours. Mine. His. But mostly mine, in this moment."
He knelt before me, pressing his mouth to my belly, to the new curve that had just begun to show. I felt his breath through the thin fabric of my costume. Felt his worship.
"Neilan, we have to get back."
"Let them wait."
He lifted my skirt, found me already wet, already desperate for him. But this time was different. This time he didn't enter me. He just touched me, slow and deliberate, his fingers tracing the outline of my sex through the damp fabric of my underwear. He hooked a thumb beneath the elastic and pulled it aside, exposing me to the cool air of the closet.
"Not tonight," he said. "Tonight we celebrate differently."
His fingers found my opening, slick and swollen, and he pressed two inside me with a gentleness I'd never felt from him before. His thumb circled my clit in slow, deliberate strokes, and I bit down on his shoulder to keep from crying out. The shelves of props rattled around us. Fake swords and velvet cloaks and painted crowns trembled with each movement of his hand.
I wanted to argue. I wanted to feel him inside me, to feel that connection that had started all of this. But his hands were gentle, and his mouth was warm against my throat, his tongue tracing the pulse point beneath my ear.
"Tonight you rest," he said, his fingers still moving inside me, curling to find that spot that made my knees buckle. "Tomorrow we begin again."
He worked me slowly, methodically, his thumb maintaining its rhythm on my clit while his fingers stretched me, filled me, pressed against the place where his child already grew. I came with my face buried in his neck, my body clenching around his fingers, my moans muffled by his skin.
When I could breathe again, he withdrew his hand and brought his fingers to his lips, tasting me.
"Tomorrow," he whispered. "After the show. I need to claim you properly. Now that I know."
But I couldn't rest. Not with the knowledge burning inside me. Not with the need that had become my constant companion.
After the show, Neil found me in my dressing room. I was still in costume, still trembling from the performance.
"You were incredible tonight," he said. "The audience was spellbound."
"They didn't see what I saw," I said. "I saw you watching from the booth. I saw Neilan on stage. I saw all of it."
He sat beside me, his hand finding mine. "What is it, Catrine? You've been different all night."
I showed him the test. His face went through a journey I couldn't follow, ending somewhere I couldn't name.
"This is what we wanted," he said slowly.
"Yes."
"This is what we asked for."
"Yes."
He looked at me, and I saw the struggle in his eyes. The love tangled with loss, the pride braided with pain.
"I'm still your husband," he said.
"You're still my husband."
"I need to see it. I need to see him claim you now that you're carrying."
I nodded. "Tomorrow. After the show."
That night Neil held me differently. His hands explored my body like he was memorizing it, like he was saying goodbye to a version of me that would never return.
The next day, I wore a tighter dress to rehearsal. Let the cast see the curve of my belly, the way my body was changing. Let them whisper.
And they did whisper.
"Did you see her costume fitting?"
"She's been gaining weight."
"It's the stress of the role."
But I knew the truth, and the truth made me wet. Every time someone's eyes lingered on my stomach, I felt Neilan's claim on me. Felt the public acknowledgment of what I'd become.
That night's performance was different. The audience was full, the house was packed, and I felt like I was flying. Every line, every gesture, every movement was charged with new meaning. My body was the story now. My belly was the subtext that everyone could see.
In the second act, there's a scene where Neilan's character touches my waist. Usually it's a casual gesture, a moment of connection. Tonight he let his hand linger, let his fingers press into the new softness, let the audience see him feel what he'd done.
I almost came on stage.
The rest of the show was a blur of light and sound and sensation. I floated through the final scene, through the curtain call, through the applause that seemed to go on forever.
After the show, after the audience had gone home and the stagehands had cleared the set, I found myself in the empty theater. Neilan was there. Neil was there.
"Show us," Neil said.
I lifted my skirt, let them see the wetness between my legs, the new curve of my belly, the evidence of what we'd done. My thighs glistened in the pale light of the ghost lamp, the single bulb that burned on the empty stage to keep the spirits company.
Neilan stepped forward. "This is my child," he said. "My legacy in her body."
Neil nodded. "Show me. Show me how you claim her."
And Neilan did.
He approached me slowly, his eyes dark in the half-light. His hands found the zipper of my costume, drawing it down inch by inch until the bodice fell open and my breasts spilled free, fuller now, heavier with the pregnancy. He cupped them both, thumbs brushing over my nipples, which had grown sensitive and dark. I gasped at the contact, at the way his large hands looked against my changing body.
He bent to take one nipple in his mouth, sucking gently while his other hand slid beneath my skirt. No underwear tonight. I'd removed it before the final scene, knowing what would come after. His fingers found me open, ready, dripping with anticipation.
"So wet," he murmured against my breast. "So ready for me."
"Always," I breathed.
He turned me to face Neil, positioned me so my husband could see everything. Then he entered me from behind, one long thrust that seated him fully inside me. I cried out, the sound echoing through the empty theater, bouncing off the velvet seats and the painted flats.
"Look at him," Neilan commanded. "Look at your husband while I fuck you."
I turned my head, met Neil's eyes. His were wet.
"Tell him," Neilan said, his hips beginning to move, slow and deep. "Tell him you're mine."
"I'm his," I said, and it was true. I was Neil's wife, Neilan's vessel, my own woman. All of it, all at once.
Neilan's rhythm changed, became a deliberate thing, each thrust pressing against my cervix, against the place where his child grew. He gripped my hips, his fingers digging into the new softness of my flesh, and I braced myself against a prop table, sending items clattering to the floor.
"You're carrying my child," he said, his voice rough with exertion. "You're showing the world what we do together."
"Yes."
"Every night you'll come to me. Every night I'll fill you again. And again. Until you're so full of me you can't walk."
"Yes, please, yes."
He reached around to stroke my clit while he fucked me, and I felt the orgasm building like a wave. My body tightened around him, and I heard him groan, felt him pulse inside me.
"Come for me," he said. "Come while your husband watches."
I did, my body clenching and releasing in waves, my moans filling the theater. He followed moments later, spilling into me with a growl, his seed hot and thick against my cervix. I felt it spread through my pregnant body. Felt the excess of his claim, the overabundance of his need.
When he pulled out, I stayed where I was, bent over the prop table, my legs spread, letting Neil see the evidence of what we'd done. Neilan's release trickled down my inner thigh, visible in the ghost light.
"Your turn," Neilan said to Neil. "Worship her. She deserves it."
Neil came to me, his hands gentle on my swollen body. He knelt behind me, his mouth finding the wetness between my legs, his tongue lapping at the mixture of my arousal and Neilan's seed. I shuddered at the contact, at the tenderness of his touch after the roughness of Neilan's claiming.
He cleaned me thoroughly, his tongue working between my folds, circling my swollen clit, dipping into my opening where Neilan had been. When he was finished, he turned me around and pressed his mouth to my belly.
"You're beautiful," he said, looking up at me. "You're so goddamn beautiful."
I pulled him up, kissed him, tasted Neilan on his tongue, tasted myself on his lips.
"This is our life now," I said.
"Yes," Neil said.
"Yes," Neilan echoed.
And in the empty theater, under the single light, we were three people bound together by more than words. By blood. By the child growing in my belly. By the ritual that would continue until the run ended.
And maybe beyond.
The next night, I wore a costume that had been let out again. The wardrobe mistress clucked her tongue and made notes. The cast exchanged glances. The audience watched me move across the stage, my belly a visible curve now, my breasts fuller, my hips wider.
I was a walking confession.
Between acts, Neilan found me in the green room. He didn't ask. He just lifted my skirt and pushed inside me, and I moaned against his shoulder, grateful for the filling.
"Every night," he said, his voice rough in my ear. "Every night I'm going to remind you."
"Remind me of what?"
"That you belong to me. To us. To this."
He fucked me quickly, efficiently, his hands gripping my hips as he thrust into me from behind, my face pressed into the couch cushions. I bit down on the fabric to muffle my sounds, feeling him grow harder inside me with each stroke. He reached around to press his palm flat against my belly, claiming both me and the child in one gesture.
"Feel that," he growled. "Feel how deep I am."
I could. I could feel him against my cervix, feel the way my body opened for him, welcomed him, needed him. He came with a final thrust, burying himself fully, holding himself there while he pulsed inside me.
After, I fixed my makeup and straightened my costume and walked back onto the stage like nothing had happened. But everything had happened. Everything was still happening.
My belly grew. My costumes changed. My performances became a different creature entirely.
The audience didn't know what they were watching. They saw a pregnant actress playing a pregnant character. They saw commitment to the role. They saw art.
But I knew what they were really seeing. I knew what Neilan's hands on my waist meant. I knew what the weight of his gaze on my belly meant. I was performing my submission, my breeding, my transformation.
And I loved it.
By the end of the week, my costumes had to be let out twice more. The wardrobe mistress was running out of fabric. The cast was running out of plausible deniability.
"Is it true?" one of the younger actresses asked me in the dressing room. "Are you really pregnant?"
I smiled, that secret smile that was no longer a secret. "Yes. I am."
"By Neilan?"
I didn't answer. I just smiled wider.
That night, he took me in the empty theater again. Neil watched from the wings. And when Neilan finished, Neil came to clean me up, his tongue working between my legs, tasting the proof of what we'd done.
"You're addicted," I said to him later, lying in his arms at home.
"To you," he said. "To seeing you fulfilled."
"Even if it's not by you?"
"Especially then."
I kissed him, tasted myself on his lips, tasted Neilan's residue.
"That's why I love you," I said.
"That's why I love you," he echoed.
The next performance, I walked onto the stage and felt the audience's eyes on my belly. Felt their curiosity, their judgment, their desire. And I performed for them. I performed for Neilan. I performed for Neil.
I performed for myself.
My body was the stage now. My belly was the curtain rising on a new act. And I was the star, the director, the willing vessel.
Between acts, Neilan found me in the wings. He pulled me behind a flat, into the shadows, and took me standing up. My back against the painted wood, my legs wrapped around his waist, my belly pressed against his.
"This is our show now," he said.
"Yes," I breathed.
"Your body is our theater."
"Yes, yes, yes."
He came inside me, and I felt the warmth spread through my already fertile womb. Felt the promise of more, of continuation, of the cycle that would never end.
When I walked back on stage for the final act, I was still wet with him. Still carrying his seed. Still performing the role of my life.
I took my curtain call with my hand on my belly, and the audience cheered.
They didn't know what they were applauding. But I did.
And that was the point.
Intermission Risk
The house lights came up and Catrine felt the familiar rush of adrenaline drain from her body. The first act had gone well. Her voice had been clear, her movements precise despite the new weight she carried. She touched her belly through the loosened costume, feeling the gentle swell that had become her most cherished secret.
She had fifteen minutes. Maybe longer if the bar line was long.
Her feet carried her before her mind caught up. Past the dressing rooms, past the green room where she heard laughter and chatter, down the narrow corridor that led to the costume shop. The door was ajar. Light spilled out. She pushed it open and saw him.
Neilan stood by the rack of period gowns, still in his character suit. His sleeves were rolled up, his tie loosened. He looked at her with those dark eyes that saw everything.
"You're here," he said.
"I couldn't stay away." She closed the door behind her, clicked the lock. "I tried. I sat in my dressing room and tried to be good. But I kept thinking about you. About what it feels like when you touch me. About how much I need you right now."
A slow smile spread across his face. "You're getting bold."
"I'm getting desperate." She laughed, a little breathless. "There's a difference?"
He crossed to her, his hands finding her hips. "Desperate suits you. You glow when you're desperate."
"Neilan, we don't have much time."
"I know." He pressed his palm against her belly, the fabric of her costume stretching over the curve. "I've been watching you all night. The way you move now. The way you carry yourself. You're different. You're full."
"Full of you," she whispered.
"Yes." He knelt. In the dim light of the costume shop, surrounded by racks of velvet and silk, he pressed his lips to her stomach. "Full of my child."
Her fingers threaded through his hair. "People are right outside."
"Let them wonder where you've gone." He spoke against her belly, his breath warm through the fabric.
"They'll never guess this."
"No." He looked up at her, his eyes dark. "They see a pregnant actress. They don't know you're carrying my seed. They don't know you come to me between acts to be filled again."
Her knees weakened. "Neilan..."
"Tell me what you need."
"You. Inside me. Now."
He stood, his hands sliding to her shoulders, pushing the costume straps down. The fabric pooled at her waist. Her belly emerged, round and firm. He made a sound, something between a groan and a sigh.
"Every time I see you," he said, "you're more beautiful. More pregnant. More mine."
"I am yours."
"Say it again."
"I am yours, Neilan. I am yours and I am carrying your baby and I need you to fuck me before the next act."
He laughed, low and dark. "That's my leading lady."
He turned her, pressing her forward over a low rack of costumes. The velvet was soft beneath her hands. Her belly rested against the padded bar. She heard him undoing his belt, the zip of his trousers.
"Quiet," he said. "Can you be quiet?"
"I'll try."
"I know you can't. You're too vocal. Too responsive." He positioned himself behind her, his hands on her hips. "But try. For me."
She felt him against her, the familiar pressure, the thickness she had come to crave. He pushed in slowly, carefully, mindful of her belly. The angle was different now. Deeper.
"Oh god," she breathed.
"Shh." He began to move. Long, slow strokes that reached something new inside her. "You feel that? You feel how different it is now? Your body has changed. It's made for this."
She nodded, her forehead pressed against the velvet. "Yes."
"Your womb is full of my child. But there's room for more." He thrust deeper. "I'm going to fill you again. Keep you wet and dripping with me."
"Please."
"Please what?"
"Please fill me. Please breed me again."
He groaned. His pace increased, but he kept it controlled. The only sounds were their breathing and the soft creak of the costume rack.
His hands slid from her hips to the curve of her lower back, thumbs tracing the dimples above her ass. He spread her wider, adjusting the angle, and she gasped at the new depth. The head of his cock pressed against something deep inside, something that made her whole body shudder.
"There," she whispered. "Right there."
"I know." His voice was strained now, the control costing him. "I can feel how swollen you are. How sensitive. Your body is doing exactly what it's supposed to do."
He reached around her, one hand finding the swollen bud between her legs. She jerked at the contact, her inner walls clenching around him.
"Neilan..."
"I want you to come first. I want to feel you squeeze me. I want to feel your body pull me deeper."
His fingers moved in slow circles while his hips maintained their rhythm. Each thrust deliberate. Each stroke measured. She could feel the pressure building, a slow heat that started in her belly and spread outward through her limbs.
Someone walked past the door. Footsteps. Voices. Catrine froze.
"Keep going," Neilan whispered. "Don't stop."
"They'll hear."
"Let them wonder what's happening in here." He kept his rhythm steady, his fingers still working her. "Let them picture the pregnant actress bent over these costumes."
She moaned, catching it in her hand.
"That's it. That's my girl." He leaned over her, his chest against her back, his lips at her ear. "You're so beautiful like this. So ripe. I could fuck you forever."
"Don't stop."
The footsteps faded. They were alone again.
He straightened, his hands gripping her hips harder. His pace quickened. She could feel him growing inside her, thickening, the ridge of him catching against her swollen entrance with each thrust. The costume rack rocked beneath them, velvet gowns swaying.
"I'm close," he said. "Tell me you want it."
"I want it. I want your come. Give it to me."
"Where?"
"In me. In my womb. Next to our baby."
He made a sound, a guttural groan, and she felt him pulse inside her. The first rush of warmth triggered something in her, and she came with him, her body clenching around him in waves, her breath catching in her throat. She bit down on the velvet to keep from crying out. The orgasm seemed to last forever, rolling through her in slow contractions, her inner walls milking him with each pulse.
He kept moving, kept thrusting through his release, drawing it out, making sure she took all of him. She felt the warmth spreading deeper, pooling where their child grew, and the thought of it made her clench around him again.
"One more," he whispered. "Give me one more."
She didn't think she could. But his fingers found her again, and his hips rolled against her, and the pressure built once more. This time it broke quickly, a sharp crest that made her legs shake. She came again, her body squeezing him in desperate pulses, milking the last of his release.
They stayed like that for a moment, connected, breathing together. His weight pressed against her back, his hand still resting on her belly.
Then he pulled out. She felt the wetness, the evidence of what they had done.
"Intermission is almost over," he said.
She straightened, adjusting her costume. Her belly was damp where his sweat had touched her. She felt full. Claimed.
"I don't want to go back out there," she said.
"You have to. The show must go on."
She turned to face him. He was tucking himself back into his trousers, his eyes soft.
"Thank you," she said.
"Thank me by being brilliant in the second act."
"I will. I always do."
He kissed her forehead. "I know."
She unlocked the door, peered out. The corridor was empty. She slipped out, walked back toward the stage, her thighs slick, her belly warm, her heart full.
She was his. And in twenty minutes, she would stand on a stage and pretend to be someone else while his seed dripped down her thigh.
She had never felt more alive.
The second act began. She stepped into the light, her lines ready, her body singing with secret pleasure. She caught Neilan's eye across the stage and saw the knowing in his gaze.
This was their show. Their secret. Their child.
And she wanted more.
Closing Night
The dressing room mirror reflected a woman Catrine barely recognized. Eight months pregnant, her belly a perfect round globe beneath the loosened costume robe, her breasts fuller, her face softer with a glow that had nothing to do with stage makeup. She traced the curve of her stomach with one hand, feeling the familiar shift and roll of the baby inside her.
"Final performance." Neil's voice came from the doorway. He leaned against the frame, arms crossed, his gray eyes soft with something between pride and sorrow.
"Final performance." She repeated the words, testing their weight. "I can't believe it's over."
He crossed to her, knelt beside her chair, and pressed his palm against her belly. "You've been incredible. Every single night."
"We've been incredible." She covered his hand with hers. "I couldn't have done this without you. Either of you."
A knock at the door. Neilan entered, already in his costume, his dark eyes finding hers immediately. He looked at her the way he always did now, with a kind of reverent hunger that made her thighs press together.
"Ready for our closing dance, my fertile muse?" His voice rolled through her, deep and warm.
"I'm ready." She stood, letting the robe fall open, showing him the full curve of her pregnant body beneath. "Give me the best performance of my life."
He stepped forward, cupped her face in his hands, and kissed her slowly, deeply, his tongue sweeping into her mouth as if tasting her for the final time. "You'll have it. We all will."
The house lights dimmed. The murmur of the audience faded to silence. And Catrine walked onto the stage for the closing time, her belly leading the way, her heart pounding with a strange blend of excitement and grief.
The performance was different tonight. Every line carried extra weight. Every gesture felt charged with significance. When Neilan's character touched her stomach in the second act, the moment that had been written as a dramatic reveal now felt like a benediction. The audience gasped, then applauded. Catrine felt tears prick her eyes and let them fall, letting the emotion fuel her performance rather than break it.
By the final scene, she was exhausted and exhilarated. The closing kiss, the closing embrace, the final time she would feel Neilan's character claim her on this stage. She held onto the moment, feeling his hands on her hips, his lips on her neck, his voice whispering lines she knew by heart but would never hear again in quite the same way.
The curtain fell. The applause rose like a wave, crashing over her, filling her with a warmth that spread from her chest to her belly to the space between her legs. She took her bow, one hand on her stomach, the other reaching for Neilan. Neil appeared from the wings, and she pulled him into the embrace, the three of them standing together as the audience rose to their feet.
"Thank you," she whispered to both of them. "Thank you for everything."
The cast party beckoned, but Catrine shook her head when Neil asked if she wanted to go. "I want one more night. Just us. On the stage."
Neil nodded, understanding immediately. He went to lock the doors while Neilan led her back through the wings, past the costume racks and prop tables, to the empty stage where the ghost light cast a single pale circle on the worn wooden floor.
The theater felt different now. Sacred. The silence of the empty house pressed around them, intimate and vast. Catrine walked to the center of the stage, the same spot where she had first kissed Neilan during rehearsals, where she had conceived their child, where she had transformed from a struggling actress into something she still didn't have words for.
"I never want to forget this." She turned in a slow circle, taking in the empty seats, the shadowed balcony, the bare stage. "This theater. This run. What we made together."
Neilan came up behind her, his hands settling on her hips, his mouth brushing her ear. "We made more than a performance."
"We made a family." Neil's voice came from the edge of the stage. He climbed up, crossed to them, and stood facing Catrine, his eyes moving from her face to her belly and back.
"I want you both." Catrine's voice was low, certain. "I want to feel claimed one more time. Here. On this stage."
Neilan's hands slid under her costume, finding her skin, tracing the stretch marks that mapped her transformation. "Slow," he murmured. "This time we go slow."
Neil knelt, pushing her costume up over her hips, exposing her swollen belly and the wetness between her legs. He pressed his lips to the curve of her stomach, kissing the taut skin, murmuring words she couldn't quite hear but felt in the vibration of his mouth against her.
Neilan undressed her with deliberate care, lifting the costume over her head, unhooking her bra, sliding her panties down her thighs. She stood naked between them, eight months pregnant, fully exposed under the ghost light, and she had never felt more beautiful.
"Look at you." Neilan's voice was rough with awe. "You're a masterpiece."
He knelt too, joining Neil, and together they worshipped her body. Neilan's hands cupped her breasts, thumbs circling her nipples while Neil's mouth traced the line of her belly, lower and lower, until his tongue found her clit and she gasped.
"Oh god." She gripped Neilan's shoulders, steadying herself as Neil's tongue worked her open, slow and thorough, savoring her like a final meal. Neilan leaned in, kissing her stomach, her navel, the place where their child kicked and rolled.
"He's active tonight," Neilan observed, pressing his cheek against her belly.
"He knows it's the closing time." Catrine's voice broke. "He's saying goodbye."
Neil pulled back, his chin wet, his eyes dark. "Not goodbye. Just the end of this chapter."
They laid her down on the stage, on a pile of costume blankets Neil had gathered, her belly rising like a hill between them. Neilan positioned himself between her legs, his cock hard and ready, but he didn't enter her immediately. He looked at her, at Neil, at the empty theater around them.
"This is our ritual," he said. "Our closing ritual."
He pushed into her slowly, inch by inch, letting her feel every moment of the stretch and fill. Catrine's back arched, her mouth falling open, her eyes locked on his. Neil took her hand, laced his fingers through hers, and pressed a kiss to her palm.
"You're so full," she breathed. "So perfect."
Neilan began to move, a deep, rolling rhythm that matched the pulse of her blood. Each thrust pressed against the baby, a reminder of how this had started, what they were completing. Neil stroked her hair, her face, her belly, whispering praise and endearments.
"You've been so brave," Neil said. "So beautiful. Every night, letting us see you like this."
"I wanted you to see." Catrine's voice was ragged, rising and falling with Neilan's rhythm. "I wanted everyone to see. This is who I am. This is what I was made for."
Neilan leaned down, his weight pressing her into the blankets, his mouth finding hers. He kissed her deeply, swallowing her moans, his tongue moving in time with his hips. When he broke the kiss, he was breathing hard, his face flushed.
"I'm going to fill you," he growled. "One more time. I want you to feel it for days."
"Yes." She wrapped her legs around him, pulling him deeper. "Give it to me. Give me everything."
Neil's hand found her clit, circling in time with Neilan's thrusts, and Catrine shattered. Her orgasm rolled through her like the standing ovation, wave after wave, pulling Neilan with her. He groaned her name as he came, his hips pressing deep, his release flooding her with heat.
They lay tangled together, breathing in the dust and silence of the empty theater. Catrine's hand rested on her belly, feeling the baby kick, feeling Neilan's seed warm inside her.
"What happens now?" she asked, her voice small.
Neilan propped himself on one elbow, looking down at her. "Now we wait. We let this settle. We see what the next show brings."
Neil sat up, pulling her into his lap, cradling her against his chest. "The next production starts casting in two months. You'll be recovered by then."
Catrine looked at Neilan, then at Neil, then at the dark, empty theater that had witnessed everything. "Will you both be there?"
Neilan smiled, slow and certain. "I'll be wherever you need me, my fertile muse."
Neil kissed her temple. "I'll always be here. Directing the scene."
She closed her eyes, feeling the weight of the baby, the warmth of the men holding her, the sacred silence of the stage. The run was over, but something new was beginning. She could feel it stirring inside her, as real and insistent as the child growing in her womb.
"Goodbye," she whispered to the theater. "Thank you."
And somewhere in the darkness, the ghost light flickered, as if answering her prayer.
New Production
The pain was a tide that crested and receded, and Catrine rode it with a focus she had learned on stage. Neil held her left hand, Neilan her right, and between them she found a rhythm that carried her through each wave. The room was white and clinical, but the presence of both men turned it into something sacred. She had never felt so exposed, so completely at the mercy of her own body.
"You're doing amazing," Neil said, his voice cracking. "You're almost there."
Neilan leaned close, his breath warm against her ear. "Breathe with me. In and out. You're a force of nature, Catrine. You're bringing life into the world."
The baby came with a final, primal scream that tore from her throat, and then there was silence, followed by the sharp, indignant cry of new life. The nurse placed the warm, slippery weight on her chest, and Catrine looked down at a face that was both stranger and the most familiar thing she had ever seen.
She was a girl. Perfect and furious and pink.
Neil was crying, tears streaming down his face as he touched the tiny hand. Neilan was still, his hand firm on hers, but she felt the tremor in his fingers. She looked up at him, and for a moment she saw something raw and unguarded in his eyes. Love and wonder and fear all tangled together.
"She's beautiful," Neilan whispered.
Catrine laughed, a sound that was half sob. "She's ours."
The words hung in the air, and she felt the weight of them. Not mine. Ours. All three of them bound together by this small, furious creature.
Six weeks later, the world had narrowed to feedings and diapers and the slow, strange work of healing. Her body felt foreign and familiar all at once, softer in some places, stronger in others. Stella was a demanding creature who ruled their lives with tiny fists and hungry cries, and Catrine loved her with a ferocity that surprised her.
But in the quiet hours, when Stella slept, she felt the old stirrings return. She watched Neilan bounce the baby on his chest, his deep voice murmuring lines from the play they had closed months ago, and she felt a pull that was not just maternal. Her body remembered. Her skin remembered. The ache between her thighs was a low, persistent hum.
Neil noticed. He always noticed. One night, after Stella's last feeding, he traced the curve of her hip and said, "You're thinking about it again."
"I can't help it." She turned to face him. "I feel like I'm waking up. Like my body is remembering what it's for."
"You're still healing."
"I know. But I'm also ready. I want to talk about it. About what comes next."
Neil was quiet for a moment. "You want to do it again."
It wasn't a question. She nodded anyway.
The season announcement came in the mail on a Tuesday. Neil brought it to the breakfast table, where Catrine was nursing Stella. He read it aloud. "The Winter's Tale. Auditions are next week."
Neilan looked up from his coffee. "Leontes is a hell of a role."
"I want you to play him," Catrine said.
Neilan raised an eyebrow. "Do you now?"
"I want you to be in the show." She paused, feeling the weight of what she was about to say. "I want us to do it again."
Neil set down the paper. "We've talked about this."
"I know." Catrine looked at both of them. "But I need to say it. I want to be pregnant again. I want Neilan to... I want the arrangement to continue. But I want it to be ours. All of ours."
Neilan moved closer, his hand on her knee. "You've just had a baby, Catrine. Your body needs time."
"I know. I'm not saying right now. But I want to start the cycle again. I want to be on stage, I want to be fertile, I want to be bred. I want it to be our life."
Neil took her hand. "I'm in. I've been in since the beginning."
Neilan looked at her for a long moment. His eyes were dark and serious, but there was a warmth in them that made her breath catch. "Then I'm in too."
That night, after Stella's last feeding, Catrine led them to the bedroom. She was different now, her body marked by birth, her breasts heavy with milk, her hips wider. She felt more beautiful than she ever had. The stretch marks were silver rivers on her belly, and she traced them with her fingers, watching their eyes follow the motion.
"This is what you've given me," she said. "Now I want to give it back."
She undressed slowly, letting them see every change. Neil's breath hitched when she turned around, revealing the softer curve of her ass. Neilan's hands clenched at his sides.
"You're a goddess," Neilan said, his voice rough. "A fertile, living stage."
He knelt before her, pressing his mouth to the soft skin of her belly. He kissed each stretch mark, his tongue tracing the silver lines. "These are your battle scars," he murmured. "You brought life into the world. You're more beautiful now than you've ever been."
Neil came up behind her, his hands on her shoulders. "She's ours," he said. "She's always been ours."
They moved together in a dance they had perfected over months. Neil guided her to the bed, his hands gentle but firm. Neilan followed, his body warm against hers. She lay back, and they positioned themselves on either side of her.
"Tell us what you want," Neil said.
She looked at Neilan. "I want you to breed me. But I want Neil to watch. I want him to see."
Neilan nodded. "That's what we do."
He took her slowly, deliberately. His cock slid into her with a fullness that made her gasp. It had been weeks since they had touched like this, and her body welcomed him like a homecoming. Neil sat beside them, his hand on her breast, his thumb circling her nipple.
"Look at him," Neil whispered. "Look at how he fills you."
Catrine's eyes locked with Neilan's. He was moving inside her with a rhythm that was almost ceremonial. Each thrust was a promise. Each stroke was a prayer.
"You're so tight," Neilan groaned. "So wet. You're ready for me, aren't you?"
"Yes," she breathed. "I'm always ready for you."
Neil leaned down and kissed her, his tongue sliding into her mouth. She tasted herself on his lips, and it made her moan. Neilan's pace quickened, and she felt the familiar building pressure, the heat coiling in her belly.
"Come for me," Neilan said. "Come around my cock and take my seed."
The words broke her. She came with a cry, her body arching off the bed, her inner walls clenching around him. Neilan followed, his hips pressing deep, his release hot and thick inside her. She felt it fill her, felt the familiar warmth spreading through her core.
Afterward, she lay between them, Neil's arm around her waist, Neilan's hand on her stomach. She could feel the potential there, the possibility of another life. Her body hummed with it.
"Next season," she whispered. "We start again."
Neilan pressed a kiss to her hair. "We never stopped."
Neil laughed softly. "We just took an intermission."
Catrine smiled in the dark. The stage was set. The curtain would rise again. And she would be ready.
The auditions were held in the same theater where it had all begun. Catrine stood on the stage, Stella in a carrier beside her, and watched Neilan read for Leontes. His voice filled the empty house, and she felt the familiar pull in her chest.
Afterward, they gathered in the green room. The director was thrilled. "You're perfect for the role," she said. "And Catrine, we'd love to have you as Hermione."
Catrine glanced at Neil. He nodded. "I'll stage manage again," he said. "Wouldn't miss it."
The rehearsal schedule was set. The production would run for eight weeks. Catrine did the math in her head. If she got pregnant in the first few weeks, she would be showing by closing night. Just like before.
But this time, it was different. This time, she was choosing it. This time, there was no guilt, no shame. Just the deep, primal satisfaction of being exactly where she was meant to be.
The first rehearsal was a read-through, just like the first one, but everything had changed. Catrine sat at the table, her body still soft from birth, her breasts full and tender. She felt the eyes of the new cast members on her, and she didn't flinch. She was no longer the flustered wife hiding her desires. She was the woman who had been bred on this stage, who had carried a child under these lights, who would do it again.
Neilan sat across from her, and when their eyes met, she felt the familiar heat. Neil was at the back of the room, clipboard in hand, but his gaze was on her. Always on her.
When the read-through ended, the cast dispersed. Neilan caught her arm. "Your place tonight?"
"Neil's already planning it," she said. "He wants to watch."
Neilan's smile was slow and wicked. "Good. I want him to."
That night, they repeated the ritual. But it was different. Catrine was different. She moved with confidence, with purpose. She undressed herself, displayed her body, and told them exactly what she wanted.
"I want you to fuck me on the stage," she said. "Before the first rehearsal. I want to christen it again."
Neil looked at Neilan. "We can do that."
They went to the theater late that night. The stage was dark, the house lights dim. Catrine lay on the same boards where she had performed, where she had conceived, where she had given herself to this arrangement.
Neilan took her from behind, her hands braced on the stage floor. Neil watched from the front row, his hand moving over his own cock. The sound of their bodies echoed in the empty space.
"This is where you belong," Neilan said, his voice a growl. "On this stage. Full of my seed. Carrying my child."
"Yes," she gasped. "Yes, yes, yes."
She came with a scream that bounced off the walls, and Neilan followed, filling her with his heat. She felt it drip down her thighs as she collapsed onto the stage, her body trembling.
Neil came up and knelt beside her. He kissed her forehead. "Welcome back," he said.
She laughed, tears in her eyes. "It's good to be home."
The next morning, she nursed Stella and looked at the calendar. Rehearsals started in two weeks. She would be fertile then. She would be ready.
She thought about the months ahead. The growing belly, the costume adjustments, the knowing glances from the cast. She thought about the after-show rituals, the three of them together, the cycle repeating.
She thought about Stella, about the sibling she might give her. She thought about the life they were building, unconventional and beautiful.
Her hand drifted to her stomach. It was flat now, but not for long. She could feel the potential, the possibility, the promise of what was to come.
She smiled and began to plan.
