The Shoot

Gravel crunched under her tires as Maren Borner pulled her sedan into the ranch's main lot. She killed the engine and sat for a moment, taking in the property. White fences stretched across rolling green hills. A red barn dominated the center of the compound, flanked by long, low buildings that looked like modern additions. The whole place screamed authenticity. That was what they'd promised in the email. Authentic farm lifestyle.

Maren grabbed her camera bag from the passenger seat and stepped out. The air smelled like hay and something else, chemical and sweet. She filed that away for later. Could be fertilizer. Could be nothing.

A woman approached from the barn, moving with the efficient stride of someone who knew exactly where she needed to be. A lab coat hung over practical clothes, her light brown hair pulled back in a neat ponytail.

"You must be Maren. I'm Ivy." Her smile was wide and professional. "We're so glad you could make it out here."

"Thanks for the opportunity." Maren hoisted her bag higher on her shoulder. "The location is gorgeous. Perfect for the lifestyle spread."

"We think so." Ivy gestured toward the barn. "The foreman is waiting. He'll show you around the facilities."

Maren followed her inside. The interior was nothing like she expected. Instead of hay bales and stalls, she found clean concrete floors and white walls. Equipment hummed somewhere in the back. A man stood near a steel table, his weathered hands resting on its surface.

"Foreman Durst," Ivy said. "This is the photographer."

Durst nodded. He had the kind of face that gave nothing away. "You'll want to start outside. The light is good this time of day."

"I'd like to see the whole property first," Maren said. "Get a sense of the layout."

"We'll start outside." His voice was flat, final.

Maren's instincts prickled. She'd worked with difficult clients before. Sometimes you had to play along to get the shots you needed. "Fine. Let's start outside."

The next two hours were strange. Durst stayed close the entire time, watching her work. Ivy appeared periodically with water or to adjust something Maren couldn't see. The shots came out well, and the property was beautiful, but something was off.

Every time Maren tried to move toward one of the long buildings, Durst steered her back toward the barn or the fields. When she asked about the livestock, Ivy laughed and said they kept the animals in the back pastures. When Maren pressed to see them, Durst claimed it was too far.

"I think I have enough for the preliminary edits," Maren said finally. "I'll send you a proof sheet by the end of the week."

"We'd like you to stay," Ivy said. Her smile hadn't wavered. "We have more to show you."

"I have other clients." Maren started packing her equipment. "I can schedule a second shoot if you need more content."

"That won't be necessary." Durst stepped between her and the exit. "You're not leaving."

Maren's hand went to her phone. "What?"

"You were selected for a trial," Ivy said, her tone as cheerful as ever. "The Holly Herd Research Initiative. Your application was approved."

"I didn't apply for anything." Maren backed away, her heart hammering. "I'm a photographer. I was hired for a shoot."

"The shoot was the screening." Durst moved toward her. "We needed to observe you under controlled conditions."

Maren ran for the door. She made it three steps before hands grabbed her arms. Two men she hadn't seen before, both built like Durst. They pinned her arms behind her back while Durst took her camera bag and phone.

"Don't damage the equipment," Maren snarled. "That's worth more than your ranch."

"We'll return it when the trial is complete," Ivy said. She was holding a syringe now, the needle glinting under the barn lights. "This will help with the transition."

"Get that away from me." Maren struggled, but the men held her fast. "You can't do this. I have people who know I'm here. I have a schedule."

"All accounted for," Durst said. He was calm, methodical. "Your phone will send a cancellation notice in the morning. Your clients will be refunded."

Ivy stepped closer, the syringe ready. "The initial dose is mild. You'll feel some swelling, some sensitivity. The full effects take about twenty-four hours to manifest."

"I will scream," Maren said.

"The nearest neighbor is six miles away." Durst's tone carried no inflection. "No one will hear you."

Ivy pressed the needle into Maren's arm. The liquid burned going in, a hot rush that spread through her veins like wildfire. Maren thrashed, but the men held her steady until the syringe was empty.

"There." Ivy stepped back, satisfied. "That wasn't so bad, was it?"

Maren's vision swam. The barn seemed to tilt around her. She felt her body responding to the drug, a strange warmth pooling in her chest, her nipples tightening against her shirt.

"What did you do to me?" Her voice came out rough, desperate.

"We're enhancing you," Ivy said. "You'll be producing within days. The ranch has very high standards for yield."

"I don't want to be enhanced." Maren's legs gave out. The men caught her, dragged her deeper into the barn. "I want to go home."

"Everyone says that at first." Ivy's voice floated from somewhere above her. "You'll adjust. They always do."

They stopped in front of a row of stalls. Each one had a number painted on the door. Maren's blurred vision caught the numbers as they passed. Twelve. Thirteen. Fourteen. Fifteen. Sixteen.

They stopped at Seventeen.

Durst opened the door. The stall was small, maybe eight feet by eight. A cot sat against one wall. A metal chair with restraints dominated the center of the room. A drainage grate was set into the concrete floor.

"Welcome to your new home," Durst said.

They stripped her. Maren fought, but her limbs were heavy, unresponsive. The drug was working through her system, making everything feel distant and sharp at the same time. They took her clothes, her shoes, her jewelry. Everything.

Ivy produced a hospital gown. "We'll have proper attire for you tomorrow. For now, this will do."

They left her on the cot. The door closed with a heavy click. A lock engaged.

Maren lay there, staring at the ceiling, feeling the drug burn through her veins. Her chest ached. Her nipples were hard and sensitive, rubbing against the thin fabric of the gown. She could feel changes starting, her body shifting in ways she didn't understand.

She was still coherent. Still furious. Still Maren.

But she was in Stall 17.

And the gates were locked behind her.

But she was in Stall 17.

And the gates were locked behind her.

First Leak

Maren woke to the feeling of dampness spreading across her chest.

For a long, disoriented moment she was back in her own apartment, tangled in sheets, morning light filtering through cheap blinds. Then she moved, and the restraints bit into her wrists and ankles. The cot beneath her was hard. The air smelled of hay and antiseptic and something sweet.

Her breasts. God, her breasts. They were swollen, heavy, pressing against the front of the thin cotton shift someone had put her in. And they were wet. Two dark, spreading patches marked the fabric over her nipples.

"No," she whispered. "No, no, no."

She pulled against the restraints. Leather creaked. The cuffs held firm. Her voice cracked as she shouted, "Hey! Someone get in here! What the hell is this?"

The barn was quiet. Through the slats of Stall 17 she could see the main corridor, dimly lit, empty. Somewhere in the distance a machine hummed. A steady, rhythmic sound. Like a pump.

She tried to sit up and pain lanced through her chest. Not the sharp, stinging pain of the injection site. This was deep. A dull, heavy ache that radiated outward from her nipples, from the core of each breast. They felt full. Overfull. Like balloons stretched to the breaking point.

Maren looked down at herself. The shift was thin, almost transparent in the weak light. Her breasts were huge. Easily double their normal size, maybe more. The areolas had darkened, expanded. They looked wrong. They looked like the breasts of a nursing mother, except she had never been pregnant. She had never wanted to be pregnant. She had never wanted any of this.

"This isn't happening," she said. Her voice was hoarse. "This is a nightmare. I'm going to wake up in my own bed and this is going to be a fucking nightmare."

She closed her eyes. She counted to ten. She opened them.

The stall was still there. The cot was still there. The dampness on her chest was still spreading.

Footsteps in the corridor.

Maren's head snapped up. "Hey!" she shouted. "I'm in here! Let me out! You can't do this!"

The footsteps came closer. A figure appeared in front of the stall. It was the woman from yesterday. The technician. Ivy. She was wearing the same neat ponytail, the same lab coat over practical clothes. In her hands she carried a stainless steel tray. On the tray were things Maren didn't want to look at.

"Good morning, Subject 17," Ivy said. Her voice was cheerful. Bright. Like a receptionist greeting a regular customer. "How are we feeling today?"

"How am I feeling?" Maren's voice rose to a near shriek. "You drugged me. You locked me in a cage. You did something to my breasts. How the hell do you think I'm feeling?"

Ivy's smile didn't waver. "Initial discomfort is normal. The hormones can cause some swelling and sensitivity in the first day. But your body is responding well. That's excellent news."

"I want my phone. I want a lawyer." Maren rattled the restraints. "You can't keep me here. This is kidnapping. This is assault. When I get out, I'm going to burn this place to the ground."

"Let's focus on the first milking," Ivy said. She set the tray down on a small table just outside the stall. "We need to establish baseline yield and flow rate. The sooner we start, the sooner your body will adjust to the schedule."

"I'm not letting you milk me." Maren's voice was flat. Hard. "I'm not a cow. I'm not your test subject. I'm a person. I have rights."

Ivy looked at her. For just a moment, the cheerfulness flickered. Something else moved behind her eyes. Something clinical. Measuring. "The initial dose we gave you yesterday included a lactogenic compound. It stimulates mammary tissue development and initiates milk production. By now, your breasts are fully engorged. If we don't relieve the pressure, you'll be in significant pain within a few hours. Within a day, you could develop mastitis. Fever. Infection. Trust me, Subject 17. You want this."

"Don't call me that. My name is Maren."

"Maren." Ivy said it like she was testing the word. "That's pretty. But here, you're Subject 17. It's easier for the records."

"I don't care about your records. I don't care about your trial. I want out. Now."

Ivy sighed. It was a small sound, almost theatrical. "We can do this the easy way or the hard way. The easy way, you cooperate. You let me attach the cups, we record the yield, and you get some relief. The hard way, I call Foreman Durst and he holds you down while I do it anyway. Your choice."

Maren's jaw tightened. Her hands curled into fists. The restraints bit into her wrists. She thought about fighting. About screaming. About all the things she would do to these people if she ever got free.

But her breasts ached. They throbbed with every heartbeat. The fabric of the shift was wet and cold against her skin. She could feel a trickle of something warm sliding down her stomach.

"Fine," she said. The word tasted like poison. "Do it. But I'm not cooperating. I'm not helping you. I'm just enduring."

Ivy nodded. "That's a start."

She unlocked the stall door and stepped inside. Up close, Maren could see the details of her face. The neat eyebrows. The slight smile. The complete absence of guilt.

"I'm going to undo the top of your shift," Ivy said. "Try not to move."

Maren stared at the ceiling. She focused on the rough wooden beams. On the cobwebs in the corners. On anything except what was happening to her body.

Ivy's fingers were quick and efficient. They tugged at the fabric, pulled it down. Cold air hit Maren's bare chest. She flinched.

"Oh my." Ivy's voice was soft. Almost admiring. "You're really coming along nicely."

Maren looked down against her will. Her breasts were enormous. They jutted out from her chest, heavy and swollen, the skin stretched tight and veined. Blue lines ran beneath the surface like rivers on a map. Her nipples were dark and distended, each one the size of a grape, flushed a deep rose color that spread outward across the expanded areolas. And they were leaking. Thin, white droplets beaded at the tips, ran down the curves of her breasts in slow, meandering trails, dripped onto her stomach.

She wanted to be sick.

"This isn't me," she whispered. "This isn't my body."

"It is now," Ivy said. She picked up something from the tray. A clear plastic cup, shaped like a bell, attached to a long tube. "This is the collection cup. It creates a gentle vacuum to stimulate flow. The milk will travel through the tube into the measuring container. Standard procedure."

"I know what a breast pump looks like." Maren's voice was bitter. "I'm not an idiot."

"I never said you were." Ivy pressed the cup against Maren's left breast. The plastic was cold. It sealed around her nipple with a soft hiss. "You might feel some pressure. That's normal."

Maren felt it. A pulling sensation. A tugging deep inside her chest. It wasn't painful, exactly. It was worse. It was wrong. Her body was responding to the pump without her permission. Her nipple hardened inside the cup, stiffening against the cold plastic, and she watched through the clear material as a bead of milk formed at the tip. The vacuum pulsed. A gentle, rhythmic suction that mimicked something she had never experienced. The bead grew, trembled, broke free. Milk ran through the tube. Thin and white. It collected in the measuring container on the tray. An ounce. Two ounces. More.

The sensation spread. Not just at the nipple but deep in the tissue behind it, a warm, heavy fullness that the pump was slowly, inexorably drawing out. She could feel the ducts releasing, could feel the channels opening one by one like floodgates. Each pulse of suction tugged at something fundamental inside her, something she didn't know existed. Her breast seemed to tighten, then soften, then tighten again as the milk let down. The areola contracted around the cup, puckering, the skin growing taut and sensitive. Each pull sent a shiver through her that had nothing to do with cold.

She bit her lip. She would not respond. She would not give them that.

But her body was a traitor. Heat bloomed in her chest, spread down through her stomach, pooled low in her belly. The milk flowed faster now, the thin stream thickening to a steady trickle. The relief was immediate and awful. The pressure that had been building all night was draining away, and the sensation was so close to pleasure that she wanted to scream.

"Excellent," Ivy said. She was watching the measuring container. "Really excellent. You're a natural, Subject 17."

"Stop calling me that."

"Your yield is already higher than some of our more established subjects. The compound is working faster than we projected. This is very good data."

Maren closed her eyes. She tried to go somewhere else. To a beach she had visited once, in Oregon. To her darkroom, where she could lose herself in chemicals and negatives. To any place that wasn't here.

But the pump kept pulling. The milk kept flowing. And Ivy kept talking.

"We'll do both breasts, of course. Alternating sessions to start. Once your body adjusts, we can run them simultaneously. That will cut the milking time in half. Foreman Durst will be pleased."

"Where is he?" Maren asked. Her voice was dull. "Your boss. The one who injected me."

"He's doing rounds. We have twelve subjects in active trial right now. You're the newest." Ivy switched the pump to the other breast. The same cold pressure. The same horrible release. "He'll want to check on you later. See how you're settling in."

"I'm not settling in. I'm being held captive."

"Perspective," Ivy said. "You're part of something important. A study on sustainable lactation and hormonal optimization. Your body is producing a valuable resource. In time, you might even come to see that as meaningful."

Maren opened her eyes. She stared at Ivy with pure, undiluted hatred. "I will never see this as meaningful. I will never thank you. And when I get out, I'll make sure everyone knows what happens here. Every reporter, every cop, every judge in this state. I will bury this place."

Ivy's smile didn't waver. "That's the spirit."

The milking continued. The pump pulsed against her right breast now, drawing out the milk in slow, rhythmic pulls that matched her heartbeat. She could feel each release like a small surrender. The container was filling. She refused to look at it. She refused to give Ivy the satisfaction of seeing her cry.

But her body betrayed her. The pressure in her breasts eased. The ache dulled to a warm hum. Some part of her, some deep animal part, was grateful for the relief. The milk flowed freely now, the let-down reflex fully engaged, and each pulse of suction sent a wave of sensation through her that made her toes curl inside her restraints. Her skin was flushed. Her breathing had quickened. She could feel the heat between her legs and hated herself for it.

The pump hummed. The milk flowed. The container filled.

When the pump finally stopped, Maren felt almost hollow. Light. The shift fell back into place, wet and clinging. Ivy removed the cups, wiped Maren's chest with a cold cloth. The rough fabric dragged across her swollen nipples and Maren hissed through her teeth at the sensitivity. Ivy recorded the numbers in a tablet.

"Eight point two ounces," she said. "That's very strong for a first milking. You'll be producing twice that within a week."

"Great," Maren said. "Something to look forward to."

Ivy packed up her tray. She paused at the stall door. "I'll be back in four hours for the next session. Try to rest. Your body needs energy to produce."

"I don't want to produce."

"Your body doesn't care what you want." Ivy locked the stall behind her. "That's the point."

She walked away. Her footsteps faded down the corridor. The machine hummed in the distance.

Maren lay on the cot, staring at the ceiling. Her breasts ached, but differently now. Emptier. She could feel the milk refilling them, slowly, inexorably. A clock had started inside her body. A schedule she hadn't agreed to.

She thought about her phone. Her camera. Her apartment. Her life. All of it on the other side of a locked gate, a locked stall, a locked future.

"I'm getting out," she whispered. "I don't know how, but I'm getting out."

The barn gave no answer. Only the hum of the machines. Only the drip of milk into empty containers. Only the slow, relentless transformation of her body into something she no longer recognized.

Maren closed her eyes. She forced herself to breathe. To think. To plan.

Four hours until the next milking. She would use every second.

Schedule Imposed

The light came through a window Maren hadn't noticed before. High and narrow, it let in a pale gray glow that told her nothing about the time. She'd slept. The realization sat heavy in her gut, a small surrender she couldn't take back.

Her body felt wrong. Heavier. The soreness in her chest had deepened into a persistent ache that pulsed with each heartbeat. When she shifted on the thin mattress, the weight pulled forward, dragging at her spine, pulling at skin that felt too tight for what it now contained.

She sat up slowly, her hand going to her chest. The gown they'd put her in was cheap cotton, and it strained across her breasts in a way it hadn't the night before. She could see the difference. The fabric stretched taut, the neckline gaping where her collarbone used to be visible.

The door opened before she could process it.

Ivy stepped in with a rolling cart. The technician's hair was neat, her lab coat crisp. She looked like she was starting a normal workday.

"Morning, Subject 17. Time for your first collection."

"It's Maren."

Ivy smiled, pleasant and empty. "I know you prefer that. But for the records, you're 17. Let's get you set up."

The cart held equipment Maren recognized from the night before. The clear tubing. The collection cups. A digital scale. A clipboard with fresh forms.

"I'm not doing this again."

Ivy didn't pause. She wheeled the cart closer to the bed, her movements practiced and unhurried. "You'll find it goes easier if you don't fight. The machine doesn't care about your cooperation, but your body will recover faster if you're relaxed."

"The machine can go to hell."

"Noted." Ivy pulled on gloves. "Now, I need you to lie back."

Maren stayed sitting. Her hands gripped the edge of the mattress, knuckles white. "I want my phone. I want a lawyer. I want to know who's in charge here and what exactly you think you're doing."

"All of that's been documented in your intake file. Your requests will be reviewed at the appropriate time."

"Reviewed by who?"

Ivy's smile didn't waver. "By the trial administrators. Now, please lie back. We have a schedule to keep."

"I'm not lying back."

Ivy sighed, a soft sound that held no frustration. Just procedure. She reached into her pocket and pulled out a small remote. She pressed a button.

The collar around Maren's neck hummed.

Pain shot through her jaw, her temples, the base of her skull. Not sharp, but deep. A vibration that seemed to rattle her teeth loose. Her hands flew to her throat, but the collar was seamless, locked tight.

"That's a compliance setting," Ivy said, her voice calm over Maren's strangled gasp. "It's set to a level that's uncomfortable but not damaging. If I hold the button, it escalates. If you lie back and cooperate, I release it."

Maren's vision blurred. The vibration sank into her spine, her shoulders, making her muscles twitch and spasm.

She didn't want to lie back. Every instinct screamed at her to fight, to run, to claw at the thing around her neck until it broke.

But her body was already moving, obeying the threat before her mind could catch up. She lowered herself onto the mattress, her arms shaking, her teeth clenched.

The vibration stopped.

"Good," Ivy said. "That's much better. See how easy that was?"

Maren's breath came in ragged gasps. "I'll kill you."

"You might feel that way now. It's normal." Ivy adjusted the cart, positioning it beside the bed. "The first few days are always the hardest. Your body is adjusting to the hormones, and your mind is still catching up. But you'll find that the routine helps. Structure is important for yield optimization."

"I'm not cattle."

Ivy didn't respond. She reached for the gown, pulling it up to expose Maren's chest.

The air hit her skin, cool and sharp. Maren looked down at herself and felt her stomach drop.

Her breasts were larger. Not subtly. Not gradually. The change was visible even to her own eyes, the curve fuller, the weight more pronounced. Her nipples had darkened, the areolas spreading wider than she remembered, flushed a deep rose that signaled changes happening beneath the surface. Veins traced blue lines beneath the pale skin, more prominent than they'd been the night before, mapping the increased blood flow that fed the new tissue.

"Hormonal response is progressing as expected," Ivy said, making a note on her clipboard. "We'll see continued growth over the next several weeks. The initial dose was calibrated for rapid development."

"Weeks?"

"The full trial duration is twelve months. But the most significant physical changes occur in the first eight to ten weeks. After that, it's maintenance and production optimization."

Twelve months. Maren's mind stuttered on the number. Twelve months in this room, on this bed, with these people touching her.

"I can't stay here for twelve months."

"You can. You will." Ivy picked up a tube, attaching it to the collection cup. "The collar ensures compliance. The injections ensure physical adaptation. And the schedule ensures consistent output. It's a closed system, Subject 17. There's no exit until the trial concludes."

"And then?"

Ivy paused, her hand hovering over the equipment. "I don't have that information. My role is to manage daily operations and data collection. Endpoint protocols are handled by the administrative team."

"You mean you don't know, or you won't tell me?"

"I mean I don't have that information." Ivy's voice remained pleasant. "Now, let's begin the collection. I need you to stay still."

Maren's hands clenched at her sides. She wanted to swing, to hit, to make Ivy feel even a fraction of the fear and rage that was building inside her.

But the collar was still warm against her throat. A reminder.

Ivy leaned over her, gloved hands efficient and impersonal. She cupped Maren's right breast first, lifting the weight of it, her thumb brushing across the swollen nipple. Maren flinched at the contact, her skin prickling with unwanted sensitivity. The touch was clinical, assessing, the way a doctor might examine a patient. But Maren could feel the tissue responding, the nipple tightening further under Ivy's fingers, the areola dimpling as the glands beneath began to stir.

"Good responsiveness," Ivy murmured, more to herself than to Maren. She positioned the first cup over the nipple, pressing the silicone edge down until it formed a seal against the skin. The cup was clear, and Maren could see herself through it, the dark bud of her nipple pressed against the interior. Ivy attached the tubing, running it down to the collection canister on the cart.

She repeated the process with the left breast. Maren lay rigid, her jaw tight, trying to ignore the sensation of Ivy's hands on her, the way her body responded to the manipulation with a sensitivity that felt foreign and wrong. When both cups were in place, Ivy checked the seals, running her finger around each edge to ensure they were airtight.

"Starting suction now," she said, pressing a button on the machine.

The machine hummed to life. The suction began as a gentle pull, a soft drawing sensation that tugged at Maren's nipples, pulling them further into the cups. She felt her breath catch, her back wanting to arch but held flat by her own resistance.

"First collections are usually low volume," Ivy said, watching the canisters. "But we should see improvement as your body adjusts. The goal is to reach full production capacity within two weeks."

Maren stared at the ceiling. The tiles were white. There were water stains in the corner. She counted them. One. Two. Three. Four.

The suction increased.

The pull deepened, becoming rhythmic. A pulse of pressure that drew at her nipples in waves, each one stronger than the last. Maren's back arched involuntarily, a soft sound escaping her throat. The sensation reached into her chest, pulling at something deep inside the tissue, something that had been dormant her entire life and was now waking.

"There you go," Ivy murmured. "That's good flow."

Maren closed her eyes. She focused on the ceiling tiles. Five. Six. Seven. There was a crack in the eighth one.

The machine hummed. The suction pulled. And something inside her chest began to release.

It started as a tingling, a prickling warmth that spread from her nipples inward. Then the pressure shifted, and she felt the first drops move. It was a strange sensation, a slipping feeling inside her breasts, like something unlocking. The milk traveled through ducts she'd never been aware of, a fluttering pulse that moved toward the surface.

She watched through the clear cups as the first thin stream emerged from her right nipple. White against the clear silicone, it flowed into the tubing and began its journey to the canister. A moment later, the left side followed, the stream thicker, catching the light from the window.

It felt like pressure leaving. Like a knot untying. The fullness in her breasts eased as the milk flowed, and despite everything, despite the rage and the violation, her body relaxed into it. Her muscles unclenched. Her breathing slowed. The ache that had been building since she woke began to dissolve, replaced by a warm, spreading relief.

She despised herself for that.

"Volume is promising," Ivy said, making notes. "Higher than average for a first session. You're responding well to the hormones."

"Don't."

"Don't what?"

"Don't talk to me like I'm a science project."

Ivy looked up, her expression unchanged. "But you are. That's what the trial is. You're a subject in a research study. Your body is producing data that will be analyzed and used to improve future protocols. The more you cooperate, the better the data, and the smoother your experience will be."

"I don't want a smooth experience. I want out."

"Out isn't available." Ivy checked the canisters again. "The sooner you accept that, the easier this will be for you."

The machine clicked, the suction cycling to a new rhythm. Maren felt another wave of release, her breasts softening as the milk emptied. The sensation was almost pleasant now, a warm easing that spread through her chest, her shoulders, down into her belly. Her nipples throbbed gently in the cups, the suction drawing a steady pulse of milk from her, and she could feel her body yielding to the machine's rhythm, her production syncing with the mechanical demand.

She despised that too.

The session lasted what felt like an eternity. Ivy recorded every measurement, every milliliter, adjusting the suction periodically to test different settings. Each change drew a fresh response from Maren's body, her nipples swelling and releasing in the cups, the milk flowing faster or slower depending on the pressure. By the end, her breasts felt soft and light, the heavy ache replaced by a tingling sensitivity that made the air feel sharp against her exposed skin.

When it was done, Ivy removed the cups with the same clinical detachment she'd applied them with. The release of suction left Maren's nipples swollen and tender, jutting from her areolas in a way that looked foreign, the skin reddened from the prolonged drawing. Ivy wiped each nipple clean with an antiseptic cloth, her touch brisk and impersonal, and Maren bit her lip against the sensitivity that lingered.

"Good session," Ivy said. "You're at sixty milliliters total. That's excellent for a first collection."

"I don't care."

"You will. When the engorgement sets in, you'll be grateful for the relief." Ivy pulled the gown back down, covering her. "Next collection is at fourteen hundred hours. That's two in the afternoon. I'll be back then."

She left the cart but took the canisters. The door closed behind her with a solid click.

Maren lay still, staring at the ceiling. She counted tiles until the numbers lost meaning.

The afternoon came faster than she expected. There was no clock in the room, no way to track time except for the quality of light through the high window. When the gray began to shift toward amber, she knew hours had passed.

Her breasts had filled again.

The sensation was uncomfortable. A tightness that built slowly, pressing outward, making the gown rub against her nipples with every movement. She tried to ignore it, pacing the small room, testing the door, checking the walls for weakness.

There was none. The room was a box. Concrete and steel and a locked door.

As the hours passed, the fullness grew. Her breasts became heavy and warm, the skin stretching tight over the swollen tissue. She could feel the pressure building inside, a growing ache that radiated from her nipples inward, deep into her chest. When she pressed her palm against her right breast, the tissue felt firm and full, and the touch sent a sharp pang through her that made her gasp. The nipples themselves were swollen, poking against the thin cotton of the gown, each brush of fabric sending unwanted sparks of sensation through her.

She tried crossing her arms over her chest. The pressure only worsened. She could feel the milk inside her, ready and waiting, with nowhere to go.

By the time Ivy returned, Maren's chest was aching. The fullness had become pressure, the pressure had become pain. She was sweating, her hands trembling, her breath coming in short, shallow gasps. Her nipples throbbed visibly through the gown, the fabric damp with the small leaks that had begun despite her efforts to hold back.

"Right on time," Ivy said, wheeling in the cart. "I can see you're ready."

"I'm not."

But her body betrayed her. When Ivy approached, Maren's arms stayed at her sides. When the gown was lifted, she didn't resist. The cool air hit her swollen breasts and she nearly sobbed with the sensitivity of it, the skin so tight and full that even the air felt like too much.

Ivy's gloved hands cupped her right breast, and Maren's breath caught. The touch was firm, professional, but her body didn't care about context. The nipple leaked a thin stream of milk at the contact, running over Ivy's gloved fingers. Ivy made a soft sound of approval.

"Good. You're already expressing. That's a positive sign." She wiped her fingers clean and positioned the first cup. The silicone pressed against Maren's swollen areola, and the seal formed with a soft suction that made Maren whimper. The left side followed, and when both cups were in place, Ivy's hands lingered for a moment, adjusting the angle.

"Starting suction," Ivy said.

The machine hummed. The suction started.

The relief was immediate and devastating.

Maren made a sound she couldn't control. A low, broken moan that escaped before she could stop it, her eyes closing, her head falling back as the milk began to flow. The machine drew from her in strong, rhythmic pulses, and each one pulled a fresh wave of release through her body. The pressure that had been building for hours began to drain, and the sensation was so intense, so overwhelmingly good, that her thighs pressed together and her fingers curled into the mattress.

"That's it," Ivy said. "Let it out."

The milk flowed thick and fast. Maren could see it through the clear tubing, white and steady, pooling in the collection canisters. The right side came first, the stream strong, but the left followed quickly, her body responding to the machine's demand with a readiness that made her sick with shame. Her nipples throbbed in the cups, each pulse of suction drawing another surge of milk, and the sensation traveled through her chest and down into her belly, a warm, heavy ache that was too close to pleasure for her to ignore.

Her back arched. Her lips parted. She could feel her pulse in her breasts, in her nipples, in the places where the machine touched her. The rhythm of the suction matched something inside her, something that had been waiting, and her body surrendered to it with a completeness that terrified her.

"You're producing more than this morning," Ivy said, checking the canisters. "Eighty milliliters already, and you're not done. You're going to be a high producer, Subject 17."

Maren didn't answer. She couldn't. Her throat was tight, her eyes burning. The machine cycled to a stronger setting, and the suction deepened, pulling at her with a firmness that made her gasp. The milk came faster, the streams thickening, and her breasts softened as they emptied, the swollen fullness fading into a warm, heavy comfort.

"I know this is difficult," Ivy said, her voice softening. "The transition period is always hard. But your body is adapting faster than most. That's a good sign."

"A good sign for what?"

"For your health. For your comfort." Ivy adjusted the suction level, and Maren felt the change in her breasts, the pull shifting, drawing deeper. "The hormones can cause complications if the body rejects them. But you're accepting the changes. That means fewer side effects, less pain, better outcomes."

"I didn't accept anything."

"Your body did. That's what matters." Ivy made another note. "The trial is designed to work with the subject's physiology. Resistance causes complications. Compliance creates stability. You're moving toward stability."

The machine continued its rhythm. Maren lay still, her body responding despite her will, the milk flowing in steady pulses that left her feeling emptied and strange. The ache was gone, replaced by a tingling sensitivity that made every breath feel heightened, every shift of the cups against her skin register as a pulse of sensation.

When the machine finally clicked off, the silence felt sudden. The cups released with a soft pop, and Maren's nipples emerged swollen and tender, flushed dark from the prolonged suction. Ivy wiped her clean with the antiseptic cloth, and Maren bit her lip against the sensitivity, the gentle friction almost too much on her over-stimulated flesh.

"Fourteen hundred tomorrow," Ivy said. "And again at zero two hundred. We'll add sessions as your production increases."

"Two in the morning?"

"That's when prolactin levels peak. It's the optimal collection window."

Maren stared at her. "You're going to wake me up at two in the morning to milk me?"

"I'm going to collect your output at the most efficient time. Yes." Ivy's expression didn't change. "You'll get used to it. Sleep becomes less important than production. You'll see."

She left. The door closed behind her.

Maren lay in the dim light, her chest soft and empty, her body warm and loose despite everything. The relief was still spreading through her, a lingering warmth that made her muscles feel heavy and her thoughts feel slow.

She hated how good it felt. Hated the way her body had responded, the sounds she'd made, the way she'd arched into the machine's pull like it was something she wanted.

The tears came then. Silent and hot, sliding down her temples into her hair. She didn't wipe them away. She let them fall, let them soak into the thin pillow.

Twelve months. Three hundred and sixty-five days. Two milkings a day, minimum. More as her production increased.

And after that? Ivy didn't know. Or wouldn't say.

Maren pressed her palm against her chest, feeling the soft weight of her breasts. They were different now. Not just larger, but changed. The tissue felt denser, the skin smoother. She could feel the glands beneath, the milk ducts that had been dormant her entire life now active and full. Her nipples were still tender, still swollen, and when she brushed her fingers across one accidentally, a thin bead of milk welled up and spilled down her skin.

They had made her into something else. Something that produced.

She thought about her camera, confiscated at the gate. Her phone, taken from her pocket. Her car, locked outside the fence. Her apartment, empty and waiting.

All of it still existed. Somewhere.

But she was here. In this room. In this body.

And she couldn't leave.

The collar hummed softly against her throat, a constant reminder of the power they held. The injections had already reshaped her. The machine had already claimed her milk.

She was becoming what they wanted.

The thought should have filled her with rage. And it did, somewhere beneath the exhaustion and the strange, unwanted calm. But the rage was distant now, muffled by the weight of what had already happened.

Maren closed her eyes.

She didn't sleep. But she didn't fight either.

Not yet.

Tomorrow, she told herself. Tomorrow she would find a way out.

But as the light faded and the room grew dark, she felt her breasts begin to fill again, the ache returning, the cycle starting anew.

The schedule had already been imposed.

And she was already part of it.

Sexual Protocol

The milking room looked different this morning. Maren noticed it the second Ivy pushed her through the door, the familiar stainless steel gleam interrupted by something new. A small camera had been mounted on the far wall, its red light blinking steadily. Another sat on the supply cart, already recording.

"What's that?" Maren's voice came out hoarse from another night of restless sleep, her swollen breasts aching against the thin cotton shirt they'd given her.

"Standard monitoring for today's session." Ivy's cheerful tone hadn't changed in the two weeks since Maren's arrival. She adjusted something on the cart, her movements precise and unhurried. "We're implementing the next phase of the trial."

Maren's stomach dropped. "What phase?"

"You'll see." Ivy gestured to the milking chair, that hated contraption of padded restraints and adjustable arms. "Have a seat. We need to get you positioned properly."

"I'm not doing anything until you tell me what's happening."

Ivy sighed, the first sign of impatience she'd shown. "Subject 17, compliance isn't optional. You can sit down yourself, or I can call Foreman Durst to assist. Your choice."

Maren weighed the options. She'd learned that Durst's assistance always involved more pain, more restraint, more humiliation. At least Ivy's methods were clinical, almost gentle in their efficiency.

She sat.

The chair's leather surface was warm from the heating pad beneath, a detail that made Maren's skin crawl. They thought of everything, these people. Every comfort that might increase yield, every adjustment that might make the process more efficient.

Ivy worked quickly, securing Maren's wrists to the armrests with padded cuffs. Not tight enough to bruise, but firm enough that any attempt to pull free would be useless. The same for her ankles, spread slightly apart on the chair's extended footrests.

"Arms need to stay here for this part," Ivy explained, her voice carrying that same instructional tone she used for everything. "We're adding a new variable to the milking process today."

Maren watched as Ivy attached a thin wire to the base of the milking cup, trailing it back to a small control box on the cart. A second wire connected to a flat adhesive pad, the kind Maren recognized from medical equipment.

"What is that?"

"Stimulation." Ivy pressed the adhesive pad to Maren's lower belly, just above the coarse hair that had grown back over the past week. The cold gel bit into her skin. "The trial requires data on how targeted stimulation affects milk production and letdown response."

"You're going to shock me?"

Ivy laughed, a light sound that made Maren's teeth clench. "No, nothing like that. It's a vibratory stimulus. Very mild. Designed to increase blood flow and hormone release."

"I don't consent to this."

"Your consent was waived when you signed the liability release for the shoot." Ivy said it like she was reading from a manual, which she probably was. "Now, let's get the cups attached and we can begin."

The milking cups felt different today. Or maybe Maren just noticed them more, hyperaware of every sensation as Ivy positioned them over her nipples. The plastic edges pressed against the sensitive areolas, the slight suction drawing her breasts forward into the narrow chambers. Her nipples had already begun to stiffen from the cool air, and she watched with detached horror as they hardened further inside the cups, the flesh darkening as blood rushed to the surface.

"Starting at level one," Ivy announced, pressing a button on the control box.

The familiar pull began, the rhythmic suction that Maren had grown to dread over the past weeks. Her breasts responded automatically now, the milk letting down within seconds of the cups engaging. She hated how her body had adapted, how it knew what to do without her permission. Thin streams of milk hit the clear plastic, sliding down into the collection tubes.

Then the vibration started.

It was subtle at first, a low hum that Maren almost mistook for the machinery's normal operation. But it was different. Deeper. Centered right where the adhesive pad pressed against her belly, sending waves of sensation downward through her pelvis.

"What is this?" Her voice came out higher than she intended.

"Just the baseline stimulus." Ivy stood beside the cart, watching a monitor that displayed Maren's vitals. "Heart rate elevated slightly. That's normal. Let's increase to level two."

The hum intensified. Maren felt it spreading, traveling through her pelvis in warm pulses that made her thighs clench involuntarily. The milking cups continued their work, the suction pulling at her nipples in counterpoint to the vibration below. She could feel her body responding, warmth pooling between her legs despite her determination to remain unaffected.

"This isn't part of the milking protocol," Maren said, her jaw tight. "You're just doing this because you can."

"Because the trial requires data," Ivy corrected. "And because the results so far suggest that subjects with higher stimulation levels produce more milk with better fat content. It's simple physiology."

"Nothing about this is simple."

Ivy ignored her, making notes on a tablet. "Level three now."

The vibration changed, becoming more targeted. The hum concentrated lower, settling directly against Maren's clit with an insistence that made her gasp. That bundle of nerves had been largely ignored since her arrival, touched only during the perfunctory cleaning sessions. Now it pulsed with sensation, each vibration sending jolts of unwanted pleasure radiating outward.

"Stop this." Maren pulled against the restraints, but they held firm. "I'm telling you to stop."

"The trial requires continuous data collection during the stimulation phase." Ivy didn't even look up from her notes. "Any interruption would compromise the results."

"I don't care about your results!"

"You will." Ivy's voice remained calm, professional. "Because the longer we spend at each level, the more data we collect. And the more data we collect, the longer you'll be in this chair."

Maren understood the threat. Compliance meant faster completion. Resistance meant more time under the vibration, more time feeling her body respond against her will.

She went still.

"Good. Level four."

The hum deepened, becoming almost a purr against her most sensitive flesh. Maren's hips twitched, trying to escape the sensation, but the chair held her in place. The milking cups continued their rhythm, pulling and releasing in steady cycles that tugged at her swollen nipples.

Her nipples had grown hard inside the plastic chambers. She could feel them rubbing against the sides, the friction adding another layer of sensation to the relentless vibration pulsing through her clit. The dual stimulation was building something inside her, a warmth that spread through her abdomen and made her vaginal walls clench around nothing.

"This is wrong," Maren whispered, more to herself than to Ivy.

"Level five."

The vibration became a steady thrum, a constant pressure against her clit that made her breath catch. Maren closed her eyes, trying to focus on anything else. The mechanical hum of the pumps. The distant sound of birds outside. The ache in her full breasts as the milk flowed steadily into the collection bottles.

But her body wouldn't cooperate. The vibration found every sensitive spot, every nerve ending that had become more responsive since the injections began. Her skin felt hot, flushed with blood that rushed to all the places the machine touched. Her nipples ached with fullness, the suction drawing milk from her in rhythmic pulses that somehow synchronized with the vibration below.

"Vitals are interesting," Ivy murmured, studying the monitor. "Heart rate climbing. Blood pressure elevated. And look at that milk flow rate. Nearly double the baseline."

Maren heard the words but couldn't process them. The vibration had become everything, filling her awareness until there was nothing else. She felt her muscles tensing, her hips beginning to move in small circles against the chair's seat, seeking more friction, more pressure, more of the sensation she desperately wanted to reject.

"Level six."

The change was subtle, a slight increase in frequency that pushed Maren over some invisible threshold. Her breath came in short gasps, her fingers curling into fists against the armrests. The milking cups pulled harder, the suction matching the rhythm of the vibration. She could feel herself getting wet, arousal slicking her inner thighs despite the humiliation burning through her chest.

"It's too much," Maren gasped. "Please. I can't."

"You can." Ivy's voice sounded distant, underwater. "Your body is responding perfectly. Look at these numbers."

Maren didn't want to look. She didn't want to know what numbers her body was producing, what data points she was generating with every twitch and gasp. But she couldn't stop the sensation building inside her, the pressure coiling tighter and tighter in her core. Her vaginal walls clenched rhythmically, her body preparing for release even as her mind recoiled from it.

"Level seven."

The vibration shifted again, becoming more focused, more direct. Each pulse hit Maren's clit with precision, a steady rhythm that her body began to match. Her hips rose and fell, her thighs pressing together against the restraints. The wet sounds from between her legs were audible now, obscene evidence of her body's betrayal.

"Please," she said again, but the word came out broken, lost in the hum of the machinery.

"This is the final level for this session," Ivy said. "We'll hold here for five minutes to collect data."

Five minutes. Maren could survive five minutes. She just had to hold on, to keep from losing control completely. She focused on her breathing, on the steady in and out of air through her lungs.

But the vibration didn't care about her breathing. It found its way inside her, touching places she'd never known existed. Her clit throbbed, swollen and hypersensitive. Her vagina clenched and released in desperate spasms. Her entire pelvis felt like it was melting from the inside out, heat pooling low and insistent.

The milking cups added their own rhythm, pulling at her nipples in counterpoint to the vibration below. The combination was devastating, each sensation building on the last until Maren couldn't tell where one ended and the next began. Milk sprayed against the plastic in thick streams, the letdown reflex triggered by the mounting pleasure. Her nipples felt huge inside the cups, swollen and rubbed raw, each pull sending jolts of sensation straight to her clit.

"Interesting," Ivy said. "Your milk production has increased forty percent since we started the stimulation. The fat content is also rising."

Maren heard the words through a haze of sensation. Her body was betraying her, responding to the vibration with a pleasure she didn't want. She could feel the orgasm building, that familiar tightening in her core that meant she was about to lose control. Her thighs trembled, her stomach muscles clenching and releasing in waves.

"No," she whispered. "No, I won't."

But her body had stopped listening. The vibration pulsed, the cups pulled, and Maren felt herself falling over the edge. Her back arched against the restraints, her cry filling the small room as the orgasm ripped through her. It started in her clit, that bundle of nerves seizing under the relentless vibration, and spread outward in waves. Her vaginal walls contracted hard, clenching around nothing, pulsing with the rhythm of her release. Her nipples spasmed inside the cups, milk spraying in erratic bursts.

It was nothing like the orgasms she'd given herself in the past, those quiet releases that felt good but left no lasting impression. This was a seizure, a convulsion that shook her from head to toe. Her muscles clenched and released, her hips bucking against the vibration that wouldn't stop. She could feel herself squirting, fluid gushing from her in pulses that matched the contractions of her climax, soaking the chair beneath her.

"Recording," Ivy said, her voice calm and clinical. "Subject 17, first stimulated orgasm. Time stamped. Vitals logged."

Maren heard the words but couldn't respond. She was still coming, the orgasm stretching out into a long, shuddering release that seemed to go on forever. Her breasts ached, her nipples throbbed inside the cups, her clit pulsed with aftershocks that made her whole body jerk. The wetness between her thighs had spread to the chair, pooling beneath her hips.

The vibration continued.

"Level six still," Ivy said. "We need to hold for another three minutes."

"Please," Maren gasped, her voice raw. "Please stop. I can't take more."

"You can." Ivy's tone was almost kind. "And you will. The data shows that multiple stimulations increase overall yield."

The vibration found her again, still sensitive from the first orgasm. Each pulse was almost painful now, her clit swollen and hypersensitive. Maren felt tears streaming down her face, the humiliation burning worse than the pleasure. She'd come. She'd come in front of this woman, in front of the cameras, and she hadn't been able to stop it. Her body had betrayed her completely.

"Don't fight it," Ivy said. "It's easier if you don't fight."

Maren wanted to fight. She wanted to scream and claw and tear herself free from the chair. But her body was still trembling, still sensitive, still responding to the vibration that pulsed through her clit. The aftershocks hadn't fully faded before the new stimulation began building on top of them, layering sensation on sensation until her nerve endings felt raw and exposed.

The second orgasm built faster. Maren felt it rising, an inevitability she couldn't escape. Her hips rose to meet it, her body seeking the release it craved even as her mind screamed in protest. The milking cups tugged relentlessly at her nipples, and she could feel more milk letting down, the spray thickening inside the chambers as her body responded to the mounting pleasure.

"Level five," Ivy said, and the vibration decreased slightly.

But the damage was done. Maren's body was already committed, already climbing toward the peak. She came again with a sob, the orgasm less violent but no less devastating. Her muscles clenched, her breath caught, her mind went white with the force of it. Her vagina contracted in deep, rhythmic pulses, more fluid gushing from her to mix with the sweat already soaking the chair. Her nipples spasmed inside the cups, milk spraying in thick streams that fogged the plastic.

"Excellent," Ivy said. "Milk production is up sixty percent from baseline. Fat content optimal. This is very promising data."

Maren hung in the restraints, her body limp, her mind reeling. The vibration had stopped, leaving only the familiar pull of the milking cups. She could feel the milk still flowing, her breasts responding to the suction with mechanical efficiency. Her thighs were soaked, her vagina still twitching with occasional aftershocks, her clit throbbing with residual sensation.

"I think we're done for this session." Ivy made a final note on her tablet. "We'll repeat this protocol three times a week to gather more data. And we'll increase the duration as your tolerance builds."

"My tolerance?" Maren's voice was barely a whisper.

"Your body will adapt. They always do." Ivy removed the milking cups with practiced efficiency, wiping the excess milk from Maren's swollen nipples with a soft cloth. The touch made Maren flinch, her nipples too sensitive after the prolonged suction. "You might even start to enjoy it."

"I will never enjoy this."

Ivy smiled, that same cheerful expression she wore for everything. "That's what they all say."

The restraints came off, one by one. Maren sat in the chair, her body still trembling, her thighs sticky with sweat and arousal. She couldn't look at the cameras, couldn't face the knowledge that her violation had been recorded, catalogued, filed away for future reference. The wet spot beneath her was cold now, a physical reminder of how thoroughly her body had betrayed her.

"Back to your stall," Ivy said. "Rest for an hour, then we'll do the afternoon feeding."

Maren stood on legs that barely held her. She walked toward the door, each step a reminder of what had happened, what would happen again and again until she broke or died. She could feel her own wetness sliding down her inner thighs, could feel the lingering throb in her clit with every movement.

Behind her, the cameras kept recording.

The trial logs would note Subject 17's first stimulated orgasm, the increased milk production, the subject's verbal resistance. But they wouldn't note the tears she wiped away as she walked back to Stall 17, or the way her hands shook as she closed the door behind her.

Those details weren't relevant to the data.

But Maren would remember. Every second of it. And she would find a way out, or she would find a way to make them stop. One way or another, this would end.

She just had to survive until then.

Breeding Cycle

The morning light crept through the high window of Stall 17, pale and indifferent. Maren lay on the cot, her arms wrapped around her swollen chest, trying to find a position that didn't ache. The milk had come in fully during the night, heavy and insistent, and her nipples leaked against the thin fabric of the shift they'd given her.

She heard footsteps in the corridor. Two sets this time. Not just Ivy's light tread but something heavier, more deliberate. Maren sat up, pressing her back against the wall, her hands curling into fists.

The door opened. Ivy stepped in first, her clipboard tucked under her arm, her smile bright and professional. Behind her came Foreman Durst, his broad frame filling the doorway. He carried a metal case, the kind technicians used for sensitive equipment.

"No milking today," Ivy said, her voice cheerful. "We've got something different on the schedule."

Maren's stomach dropped. "Different how?"

Durst set the case on the table near the door. He opened it, revealing rows of vials and sterile equipment. His movements were slow, methodical, like a man who had done this a thousand times before.

"The breeding protocol," he said, not looking at her. "You've been selected for the first cycle."

The words hit her like a physical blow. "No."

Ivy stepped closer, her expression softening into something that almost looked like sympathy. "It's standard procedure. All subjects go through it. Your hormone levels are optimal, and your yield has been excellent. You're a prime candidate."

"I said no." Maren's voice rose, cracking at the edges. "You can't do this. You can't just breed me like I'm some kind of animal."

Durst closed the case and turned to face her. His eyes were flat, unreadable. "You're Subject 17. Your body belongs to the trial now. The breeding cycle is part of the protocol."

"I didn't sign up for this." Maren scrambled off the cot, backing toward the far corner of the stall. Her breasts swung heavy against her chest, and she wrapped her arms around them, shielding herself. "I signed up for a photo shoot. A lifestyle shoot. Nothing about this."

"The consent you gave was comprehensive," Ivy said, her tone still pleasant, still clinical. "The trial requires full participation. Reproduction is a key component of the research."

"I didn't consent to anything." Maren's voice broke. "You took my phone. You locked me in here. You injected me without my permission. None of this is legal."

Durst moved toward her, slow and steady. "Legal doesn't matter here. This is a closed trial. There's no oversight. No one's coming to check on you."

Maren looked around the stall, searching for anything she could use as a weapon. The cot was bolted to the floor. The bucket they used for washing was plastic, flimsy. The walls were smooth, unbroken.

She was trapped.

"I won't cooperate," she said, her voice low and fierce. "You'll have to force me."

Durst nodded, as if he'd expected nothing less. "That's fine. We're prepared for that."

He took something from the case. A syringe, filled with a clear liquid. He held it up, tapping the barrel to remove any air bubbles.

"This will make things easier. For you and for us."

Maren shook her head, backing into the corner. "Don't. Don't come near me."

Ivy moved to block the door, her clipboard still tucked under her arm. Her smile never wavered. "It's just a relaxant. It'll help with the procedure. Less stress on your body."

"I don't want it." Maren's voice was sharp, desperate. "I don't want any of this."

Durst kept advancing. He was bigger than her, stronger, and she knew she couldn't fight him off. But she had to try.

She lunged to the side, trying to get around him, but he caught her arm and yanked her back. She twisted, clawing at his hand, but his grip was like iron.

"Hold still," he said, his voice flat.

"No!" She thrashed, kicking out, trying to land a blow anywhere she could. Her foot connected with his shin, and he grunted, but he didn't let go.

Ivy appeared at her other side, taking hold of her free arm. Together they forced her down onto the cot, pressing her shoulders against the thin mattress.

"Just relax," Ivy murmured, her voice soothing, almost hypnotic. "It'll be over soon."

Maren felt the cold swab against her arm, the sharp pinch of the needle. She screamed, a raw, guttural sound that echoed off the concrete walls.

The liquid burned as it entered her veins. She felt it spreading, warm and heavy, loosening the tension in her muscles. Her limbs grew slack, her struggles weakening.

"No," she whispered, her voice slurring. "Please. Don't do this."

Durst released her arms and stepped back. He opened the case again, pulling out a speculum, a vial of something thick and milky, a long catheter.

Maren tried to move, but her body wouldn't obey. She could feel her limbs, but they felt distant, disconnected, like they belonged to someone else.

Ivy leaned over her, checking her pulse, her pupils. "She's ready. The relaxant is working."

Durst nodded. He pulled on a pair of sterile gloves, the latex snapping against his wrists.

Maren watched, unable to look away, as he approached the cot. She tried to close her legs, but they wouldn't move. They lay open, useless, as he stepped between them.

"This is for the trial," he said, his voice devoid of emotion. "You're being inseminated with a high-yield donor sample. The pregnancy will increase your hormone levels and boost your milk production."

"Please," Maren whispered. Tears streamed down her cheeks, hot and useless. "Please don't."

He didn't respond. He lifted her shift, exposing her to the cold air of the stall. She felt the speculum slide in, cold and hard, spreading her open.

She screamed again, but the sound was muffled, distant, like it was coming from someone else.

Ivy stood at the head of the cot, watching, her clipboard in hand. She made notes as Durst worked, recording every detail.

"Catheter inserted," she murmured. "Donor sample prepared."

Durst picked up the vial, the thick liquid inside swirling slowly. He attached it to the catheter.

"Beginning insemination."

Maren felt the liquid enter her, warm and foreign. It spread through her, settling deep inside, and she knew with sick certainty that this was real. That she was being impregnated against her will.

"No," she sobbed. "No, no, no."

Durst withdrew the speculum and the catheter. He stripped off the gloves and dropped them into a waste bin.

"Procedure complete," he said. "Record the time and date."

Ivy wrote something on her clipboard. "Time logged. Subject 17 will need to remain recumbent for the next hour to ensure optimal implantation."

Durst nodded. He picked up the metal case and walked out of the stall without looking back.

Ivy lingered for a moment, her eyes on Maren's tear-streaked face. "It's for the best," she said softly. "You'll see. Once the pregnancy takes hold, your body will adjust. You'll feel better."

Maren couldn't speak. She lay on the cot, her legs still spread, the foreign warmth still inside her. She felt violated in a way that went beyond the injections, beyond the milking, beyond the forced orgasms. This was deeper. This was permanent.

Ivy left, closing the door behind her. The lock clicked into place.

Maren lay alone, staring at the ceiling, her tears drying on her cheeks. She could feel the relaxant wearing off, the feeling returning to her limbs. But the weight inside her remained.

She pressed her hands to her belly, feeling the warmth where the sample had been deposited. She knew it was too early to tell, but she already felt different. Tainted. Changed.

The hours passed. The light in the window shifted from pale morning to harsh noon to soft afternoon. No one came to check on her. No one brought food or water.

She lay there, her mind racing, searching for a way out. But every path she traced led back to the same conclusion. She was trapped. She was pregnant. She was property.

When Ivy finally returned, she had a small plastic cup in her hand.

"Time for the test," she said, her voice bright. "Just a quick urine sample."

Maren took the cup without speaking. Her hands were steady now, the relaxant completely gone. She filled the cup and handed it back.

Ivy dipped a test strip into the liquid, waiting for the results. The seconds stretched out, endless and agonizing.

Then the strip turned pink.

Ivy smiled, a genuine smile, warm and pleased. "Congratulations, Subject 17. You're pregnant."

Maren closed her eyes. The words hit her like a physical blow, driving the air from her lungs. She was pregnant. Carrying a child she didn't want, conceived in a way she never consented to.

"The pregnancy will be monitored closely," Ivy continued, making notes on her clipboard. "We'll need to adjust your hormone regimen to support the development. Your milk production will increase significantly in the coming weeks."

Maren opened her eyes. She looked at Ivy, at her cheerful face, her clinical detachment.

"I'm going to kill you," she said, her voice low and steady. "I'm going to find a way out of here, and I'm going to kill you."

Ivy's smile flickered, just for a moment. Then it returned, bright and unperturbed.

"That's a common reaction," she said. "But you'll adjust. They all do."

She left, the door clicking shut behind her.

Maren lay on the cot, her hands on her belly, feeling the life growing inside her. A life that had been forced on her. A life that would bind her to this place even more tightly than before.

She thought about escape. She thought about resistance. She thought about all the ways she could fight back.

But deep down, in the cold, quiet part of her mind, she knew the truth.

She was never getting out of here.

The pregnancy test sat on the table, the pink strip still visible, a permanent reminder of what she had become. A breeder. A vessel. A subject.

Stall 17 was her home now.

And she was carrying its future.

Yield Ranking

The morning light crept through the high window of Stall 17. Maren lay on the thin mattress, her hands pressed to her swollen belly. The pregnancy was real now. The test had confirmed it. She carried Durst's child inside her. The thought made her stomach turn.

She heard voices outside. Ivy and Durst stood by the door, speaking in low tones. Maren strained to hear.

"Subject 17 is outpacing all the others by a significant margin," Ivy said. Her voice held that cheerful clinical tone. "Her yield has increased forty percent in the last week."

"Confirmed," Durst said. "She's the highest in the herd."

Maren felt a flush of heat. Not pride. Something darker. Shame tangled with anger. She didn't want to be good at this. She didn't want to be the best. But her body was betraying her. The injections, the hormones, the constant milking. It had turned her into something efficient.

The door opened. Ivy stepped in, clipboard in hand. Her smile was bright. "Good morning, Subject 17. I have excellent news. Your daily yield has increased by forty percent. You are now our top producer."

Maren stared at the ceiling. "Great. Give me a trophy."

Ivy laughed. "We don't do trophies here. But we do adjust schedules to optimize output. Starting today, you'll be milked every three hours instead of four. Sessions will be extended by fifteen minutes."

Maren sat up. "No. That's too much. I'm already sore."

"The data shows you can handle it," Ivy said. "Your body is responding well."

"My body isn't yours to push," Maren said.

"Actually, it is." Durst stood in the doorway, tablet in hand. "The trial requires maximum yield. You're producing. We're going to capitalize on that."

Maren's hands clenched the mattress. "I'm not a cow you can just optimize."

"You're a subject," Durst said. "And you're performing. That's all that matters."

Ivy stepped closer. "Let's start the first extended session now. We'll see how you adjust."

Maren didn't move. Ivy took her arm. Maren pulled back. "Don't touch me."

Ivy's grip tightened. "Subject 17, compliance is expected. You know the protocol."

Maren's jaw clenched. She knew. Resistance meant more injections, more sedation. She had tried that. It only made things worse. She let Ivy lead her to the milking station.

The machine was already set up. The cups were larger now, replaced when her breasts had grown swollen and heavy with milk. Maren sat on the stool, the cold surface pressing against her bare thighs. Ivy knelt before her and positioned the suction cups over each breast. The silicone was warm from the previous subject's session. Maren felt the cups seal against her skin with a soft click, the vacuum locking them in place.

The familiar pull began. A gentle pulse at first, then stronger. Maren's nipples hardened against the silicone. She felt the milk let down, a sudden rush of pressure releasing from deep within her breasts. The fluid traveled through the transparent tubes, pale and thick, collecting in the measured bag below.

Maren closed her eyes. She tried to think of something else. Her camera. The last shoot she had done. A wedding. The bride had been so happy. Maren had captured the moment. She had been good at her job. She had been free.

The suction increased. The machine cycled in a rhythmic pattern. Pull. Release. Pull. Release. Each cycle drew more from her. Her breasts felt heavy and full, even as they emptied. The sensation was unbearable. Not pain exactly. Something deeper. Each pull sent a pulse through her that she couldn't ignore. The suction tugged at her nipples, stretching them, drawing the milk out in steady streams. She felt the letdown reflex trigger again and again, her body surrendering to the machine's demand. Her thighs pressed together. She felt the wetness between her legs. She hated that too.

Ivy watched the collection bag. "Excellent. Already fifty milliliters in the first minute."

Maren kept her eyes closed. She focused on the ache, the relentless drawing sensation. She would not give them the satisfaction of a reaction.

Durst came in. He looked at the bag. "Increase the suction slightly. Let's see if we can improve the flow rate."

Ivy adjusted a dial. The pull became stronger. Maren gasped. Her hands gripped the edges of the stool. "That hurts."

"Discomfort is normal," Ivy said. "Your body will adapt."

The machine hummed louder now. The suction cups worked her breasts in alternating cycles, first one side then the other. Milk sprayed against the clear plastic with each pulse. Maren's breasts were being drained so thoroughly that she could feel the emptiness spreading through her chest. But even as they emptied, her body produced more. The hormones ensured it. She was always full. Always ready. Always producing.

Maren's eyes watered. She refused to cry. She thought about the other subjects. She had seen them in the hallways. Women with empty eyes who walked with their heads down. Women who had given up. She would not become them.

"How much do the others produce?" Maren asked. Her voice was strained.

Ivy looked at her. "That's not relevant to your trial."

"You said I'm the top. So how much do the others make?"

Durst answered. "Subject 15 averages two hundred milliliters per session. Subject 22 averages one hundred fifty. You are at three hundred fifty. You are the highest."

Maren felt a strange satisfaction. It disgusted her. She pushed it away. "So I'm punished for being good at this."

"You're rewarded with more attention," Durst said.

"This isn't a reward."

Durst said nothing. He left. Ivy adjusted the machine. The session continued.

Maren's mind drifted. She thought about the breeding. Durst's hands on her body. The way he had positioned her on the breeding bench, her wrists and ankles strapped down. The way he had touched her, his fingers working between her legs until her body responded against her will. She had been wet. She had been ready. The drugs they had given her made sure of that. Her hips had moved on their own, seeking him, wanting him, even as her mind screamed no.

He had entered her slowly. Deliberately. She felt every inch of him. The fullness. The stretch. He had fucked her with steady, measured thrusts. Clinical. Like everything else here. But her body had reacted. The orgasm had built without her permission. It rolled through her in waves, her walls clenching around him, her back arching off the bench. She had come on his cock while he held her down. She had bitten her lip until it bled trying to stay silent. But a moan had escaped. He had heard it. He had smiled.

Then he had finished inside her. She felt the warmth flooding her womb. The seed that had taken root. The baby growing inside her was the result of that moment. Her body's ultimate betrayal.

She thought about the future. There was no future. Only this.

The session lasted twenty minutes longer than usual. By the end, Maren was trembling. Her breasts ached. The milk had flowed steadily. Ivy recorded the volume. "Four hundred fifty milliliters. A new record."

Maren's lips pressed together. She was led back to the stall. She lay on the mattress. Her hands touched her breasts. They were hard, full, even after the session. She pressed. Milk leaked. She felt the wetness on her fingers. She hated it.

An hour later, Ivy returned with a tray. "Your new diet. Higher in nutrients. To support increased production."

Maren looked at the food. It was bland. Pasty. She had no appetite. "I'm not hungry."

"You need to eat. For the baby. For the yield."

Maren took the tray. She forced herself to eat. The food tasted like nothing. She ate because she had no choice.

That afternoon, she was led to the milking station again. And again. The sessions blurred together. The suction was constant. Her body responded. The milk flowed. Ivy recorded the numbers. Durst nodded in approval.

On the third day, Maren saw another subject. A woman with dark hair was being led to a different stall. Their eyes met for a moment. The woman looked away. Maren saw the emptiness in her gaze. The resignation. She felt a chill.

"That's Subject 15," Ivy said. "She used to be our top producer. But you've surpassed her."

Maren watched the woman disappear into the stall. "What happened to her?"

"She plateaued. Her yield stopped increasing. She's still productive, but not exceptional."

"So you just keep her here?"

"Of course. Every subject has value. But you are our star."

Maren felt sick. She was being praised for her captivity. Her violation. Her body's betrayal. She wanted to scream.

The extended sessions continued. Maren's nipples became raw. The suction left marks. She applied cream that Ivy gave her. It soothed the pain but did nothing for the shame.

She started to dream about the milk. In her dreams, she was drowning in it. White liquid filling her lungs. She woke gasping. Her breasts were leaking. The sheets were wet.

Durst came in the morning. He checked the chart. "Yield is still increasing. We'll extend the sessions by another ten minutes starting tomorrow."

Maren sat up. "No. I can't. I'm already in pain."

"The pain is temporary. The yield is permanent."

"You're going to break me."

"No. We're going to optimize you."

Maren's hands shook. "Why me? Why not one of the others?"

Durst looked at her. "Because you're stronger. Your body responds better. You have higher potential."

"I don't want potential. I want out."

"That's not an option."

Durst left. Maren lay back. She stared at the ceiling. The cracks in the plaster. The water stain in the corner. She knew every inch of this room. She would not be here forever. She would find a way out.

But for now, she was the top producer. The star. The prize. And that meant more attention, more handling, more violation.

She closed her eyes. She heard the machine humming in the next room. She heard the soft moans of another subject. She heard Ivy's cheerful voice. "Excellent yield today, Subject 22. Keep it up."

Maren pressed her hands to her belly. The baby kicked. A small flutter. She felt a connection. She hated it. She hated that this thing inside her was part of Durst. But it was also part of her. She would protect it. She would protect herself.

The door opened. Ivy stepped in. "Time for your session, Subject 17."

Maren stood. She walked to the milking station. She sat on the stool. She let Ivy attach the cups. She felt the silicone seal against her skin. She let the suction begin. She felt her body respond.

But in her mind, she was planning. Watching. Waiting. She would find a weakness. She would exploit it. She would escape.

The milk flowed. The machine hummed. Ivy smiled. "You're our best, Subject 17. Absolutely our best."

Maren said nothing. She held onto her anger. It was all she had left.

Sensory Overload

Morning light crept through the high window of Stall 17, but Maren barely noticed it anymore. Days blurred together in a cycle of milking, feeding, and waiting. Her belly had grown rounder, the pregnancy settling into her bones. Her breasts hung heavy and full, always ready to leak.

She heard the footsteps before the door opened. Two sets. That meant Ivy and Durst together, and that combination never brought anything good.

Maren pushed herself upright on the cot, one hand going to her swollen stomach. The movement made her breasts sway, and she winced at the sensitivity.

The door swung open. Ivy entered first, her ponytail swinging, a bright smile on her face. Durst followed, pushing a cart loaded with equipment. Maren's eyes fixed on the clear plastic cups with their attached tubes.

"What are those?" she asked, though she already knew.

"Your new accessories," Ivy said cheerfully. "Your yield has been so impressive, Maren. We're moving you to the next phase of the trial."

Maren shook her head. "No. I'm not letting you attach anything permanent to me."

Durst set down the cart and walked toward her. "It's not optional."

"It's my body!" Maren shouted, scrambling back on the cot until her spine hit the wall. "You can't just keep adding things to it!"

"We already have," Ivy said, pulling on gloves. "And you're still here. So let's not pretend you have a choice."

Durst grabbed Maren's ankles and dragged her forward until she lay flat on the cot. Maren thrashed, her fists swinging, but Durst caught her wrists and pinned them above her head. His weight pressed down on her legs, immobilizing her.

"Hold still," Ivy said, opening a small jar of adhesive. "This'll only take a minute."

Maren felt the cold glue around each nipple, the slight sting as Ivy pressed the cups into place. The sensation was immediate. A gentle, persistent suction began, pulling at her nipples with steady rhythm. Not strong enough to hurt. Just strong enough to never forget.

"There," Ivy said, stepping back to admire her work. "How does that feel?"

"Like hell," Maren spat.

Ivy laughed. "You'll get used to it. Now for the next part."

She attached a new bag to the IV line that had been in Maren's arm for weeks. The clear liquid dripped down the tube, entering her bloodstream.

"What's that?" Maren demanded.

"A hormone cocktail," Ivy said. "It'll keep your levels optimized for production. You might notice some side effects. Increased sensitivity. Heightened arousal. That's normal."

"No," Maren said, but the warmth was already spreading through her veins. It started in her chest, a slow heat that radiated outward. Her skin prickled. Her nipples tingled under the suction cups, the gentle pulling suddenly more intense, more noticeable. A deep, persistent ache began in her core.

Durst released her wrists and stepped back. "We'll check on you later."

They left. The door locked behind them. Maren was alone with the suction and the warmth.

For the first hour, she tried to ignore it. She sat on the cot, hands clenched in her lap, focusing on breathing. In and out. In and out. But the suction never stopped. Every few seconds, the cups pulled at her nipples, sending tiny jolts of sensation through her chest. The hormone drip kept the heat simmering in her blood.

By the second hour, she was sweating. Her skin felt too tight. Her breasts ached with fullness, the suction drawing at them constantly. Between her legs, a wet warmth gathered. She pressed her thighs together, trying to resist, but the pressure only made it worse.

"Stop it," she whispered to herself. "Stop it."

But her body didn't listen. Her nipples hardened against the cups, each tiny pull sending a flutter of sensation straight down through her belly. Her hips shifted restlessly on the cot. The ache in her core grew deeper, more insistent. She wanted something. She needed something. She hated wanting anything at all.

The door opened again. Durst entered with a cart carrying collection containers. He connected the suction tubes to them without a word.

"How long do I have to wear these?" Maren asked, her voice strained.

"Forever," Durst said flatly. "They're permanent."

The word hit her like a blow. Permanent. She would never be free of this sensation. Never have a moment of peace from the constant pull.

Durst checked the collection containers. "Already producing. That's good."

Maren watched her milk flow through the tubes, filling the containers. The suction pulled harder now that it had somewhere to send the milk. She could feel it leaving her, a steady stream that should have been relief but only made the ache worse. Each pulse drew her nipples out, tugging at the swollen flesh, and the sensation traveled through her body like a current. Her breath caught. Her thighs tensed.

"Please," she said, hating the word. "Just for a few minutes. Let me have a break."

Durst looked at her. "No breaks. The continuous stimulation increases yield."

He left again. The milk kept flowing. The suction kept pulling. The hormone drip kept the heat burning in her veins.

Maren lay back on the cot, staring at the ceiling. She tried to think of something else. Her camera. The last photo she'd taken before coming here. A landscape shot, golden hills at sunset. She tried to picture it, but the image kept dissolving into sensation. The rhythmic pull at her nipples. The ache in her core. The wetness between her legs.

She hated her body. She hated how it responded. She hated the way her hips moved without her permission, grinding against the cot, seeking friction that wasn't there.

"No," she said out loud. "I won't. I won't."

But the need was a living thing inside her, fed by the drip, sustained by the suction. It grew and grew, pressing against her will, wearing it down.

By evening, Maren was shaking. The arousal had built to a fever pitch. Every nerve in her body was alight. Her breasts were swollen and sensitive, the suction drawing at them relentlessly. Each pulse tugged at her nipples, pulling them into the cups, and the sensation radiated through her chest, down through her belly, straight to the wet heat between her legs. Her core throbbed with emptiness, craving something she refused to name.

Durst returned to collect the milk. He checked the containers and nodded. "Four liters. Your yield has doubled."

Maren barely heard him. She was lost in a sea of sensation, drowning in it.

"I need..." she started, then stopped.

"Need what?" Durst asked.

She shook her head. She wouldn't ask. She wouldn't beg.

Durst studied her for a moment. "The hormone drip can be adjusted. If the arousal becomes too distracting, we can increase the dose to push you over the edge."

"No," Maren said quickly. "I don't want that."

"It's not about what you want," Durst said. "It's about what keeps you functional."

He left. The door locked. Maren was alone again.

The night was the worst. In the dark, the sensations amplified. Every pull of the suction echoed through her body. Every throb of arousal demanded attention. She curled on her side, then on her back, then on her side again. Nothing brought relief.

She pressed her hand between her legs, desperate for any pressure, any friction. Her fingers found the wetness there, slick and hot, and she gasped at the contact. But even that wasn't enough. The need was too deep, too constant. It had nowhere to go.

"I won't break," she whispered into the darkness. "I won't."

But her body was already breaking. Her hips moved against her hand, grinding into her own touch. Her breath came in short gasps. The suction pulled and pulled and pulled, each pulse tugging at her nipples in rhythm with the movement of her hips. The sensations layered on top of each other, building and building.

She came without meaning to. A small, helpless orgasm that rippled through her, her inner walls clenching around nothing, her back arching off the cot. But it did nothing to satisfy the need. It only made it worse. The arousal rebuilt instantly, like a wave that had barely receded before rushing back. Her nipples were even more sensitive now, and each pull of the suction cups sent fresh jolts through her oversensitized flesh.

Maren cried then. Silent tears that soaked the pillow. She hated herself for the tears, hated herself for the orgasm, hated herself for wanting more.

The suction never stopped. The drip never paused. The need never faded.

Morning came, and with it, Ivy. She checked the collection containers and smiled. "Six liters overnight. That's remarkable, Maren. Your body is really responding to the new protocol."

Maren didn't answer. She lay on the cot, hollow and aching, her mind a fog of sensation and exhaustion.

Ivy adjusted the drip. "I'm increasing the hormone dose. Your yield is up, but we can get more."

"Please," Maren said, her voice raw. "I can't take much more."

"You can," Ivy said cheerfully. "You are. Look at these numbers."

She left. The drip increased. The warmth in Maren's blood grew hotter. The ache in her core deepened.

Durst came for the morning milking. He connected fresh collection containers and checked the suction cups. "Any discomfort?"

"Yes," Maren said. "Constant discomfort."

"That's normal," Durst said. "You'll adapt."

He left. The milk flowed. The suction pulled. The need burned.

Maren closed her eyes and tried to find a place in her mind where the sensations couldn't reach. A small, quiet room. A locked door. But the need was already inside that room, pounding on the walls, demanding to be heard.

She thought of her old life. Her apartment. Her camera. Her freedom. They felt like memories of someone else, someone she used to know. The woman who had walked onto this ranch with a camera bag and a contract was gone. In her place was this creature of need and yield and endless sensation.

The suction cups pulsed against her nipples. The hormone drip fed the fire in her blood. Between her legs, the wetness never stopped. Her thighs were slick with it, her core clenching and unclenching in a rhythm she couldn't control.

Maren pressed her thighs together and shook with the effort of holding back. She wouldn't come again. She wouldn't give them that satisfaction.

But her body didn't care about satisfaction. It cared about the need. The constant, unrelenting need that grew with every pull of the suction, every drop of hormone, every second of denial.

By afternoon, she was delirious with it. Her mind had retreated to a small, distant place where the sensations were just noise. But the body went on without her. The hips moved. The breath came fast. The muscles clenched and released. Her hand found its way between her legs again, fingers sliding through the slick wetness, pressing against the swollen flesh there. She gasped, her hips bucking into her own touch, the suction cups pulling at her nipples in response to the movement.

She came again. And again. Small, useless orgasms that did nothing to quench the fire. Each one left her more desperate than before, her body craving something larger, something deeper, something she couldn't give herself. Her fingers weren't enough. The suction wasn't enough. Nothing was enough.

Durst returned for the evening collection. "Eight liters today," he said. "You're our top producer now."

Maren heard the words from far away. She was somewhere else, somewhere the suction couldn't reach. But even there, she could feel the pull. The constant, endless pull.

"The permanent devices are working well," Durst said, making notes on his tablet. "We'll keep the protocol in place."

He left. The door locked. The suction pulled. The drip dripped. The need burned.

Maren lay in the dark, her body a battlefield, her mind a prisoner. The sensory overload never stopped. It was her new reality. Her permanent state.

She thought about fighting. She thought about giving up. She did both at once, her body writhing on the cot while her mind screamed into the void. Her hand was between her legs again, fingers working desperately, chasing an orgasm that wouldn't come. The suction cups glowed faintly in the dark, their tiny mechanisms working tirelessly. The IV line fed the hormone cocktail into her blood. The milk flowed through the tubes to the collection containers.

Maren Borner, freelance photographer, was gone. In her place was Subject 17, Stall 17, the top producer, her body a machine of need and yield.

And the need would never stop.

The suction would never stop.

The sensory overload would never end.

Maren closed her eyes and felt the next orgasm building, unwanted and unstoppable. It started deep in her core, a tightening that spread outward, her inner walls clenching, her nipples hardening further against the cups. She came with a whimper, her body arching off the cot, the suction cups pulling at her nipples in rhythm with the waves of pleasure. The hormone drip fed her endless hunger, and even as the orgasm peaked and broke, she could feel the next one already building.

In the morning, Ivy would come with smiles and numbers. Durst would come with collection containers and notes. The milk would flow. The need would grow.

And Maren would still be there, trapped in her body, her mind intact enough to hate every second of it.

The permanent suction devices hummed against her skin. The hormone drip made her blood sing with need. The sensory overload continued, minute after minute, hour after hour, day after day.

Maren Borner was still in there somewhere. But she was getting harder to find.

No Exit

Maren spent three days watching. Three days of memorizing the patrol patterns, the shift changes, the moments when the ranch's attention wavered. She catalogued every detail. The way Durst checked the fence at dawn. The gap between Ivy's evening rounds that lasted just long enough. The rusty bolt on the gate that had been loose for weeks.

Her body felt foreign. Heavy. The weight of her breasts pulled at her spine, and a constant low thrum of arousal from the hormone drip kept her thighs slick. She hated it. She hated what they had done to her. But she used that hate. It sharpened her focus. It kept her moving when the drugs made her want to sink into the straw and sleep.

On the fourth morning, she made her move.

Durst had left the barn door unlatched. A mistake. A small one. But enough. Maren waited until the foreman's footsteps faded toward the main house. Then she slipped out.

The air hit her skin, cold and clean. It smelled like grass and freedom. She ran.

Her legs felt weak. The muscles had atrophied from weeks of confinement, and each step sent pain through her calves. Her breasts bounced heavily, the weight throwing off her balance. She ignored it. She pushed forward.

The fence was fifty yards away. Then forty. She could see the wire mesh, the posts, the open field beyond. The road. The world.

Twenty yards remained.

Her heart pounded. Her lungs burned. She reached the fence. Her fingers closed on the cold wire. She started to climb.

A hand grabbed her ankle.

She fell. The ground slammed into her back. The air left her lungs. She looked up. Durst stood over her, his face flat, his eyes cold. He did not look angry. He looked bored.

"You're not going anywhere," he said.

She kicked. She twisted. She tried to claw at his face. He caught her wrists, pinned them to the ground. His weight pressed into her chest, and the pressure made her swollen breasts ache.

"Get off me," she snarled.

He didn't answer. He pulled a syringe from his pocket. The needle glinted in the pale morning light.

"No," she said. "Don't. Don't you dare."

He shoved the needle into her neck. The liquid burned as it entered her bloodstream. She felt the heat spread through her body. Her limbs went heavy. Her vision blurred.

"Let's go," Durst said. He hauled her to her feet. Her knees buckled. He dragged her back to the barn.

Ivy was waiting. She had a smile on her face. That same cheerful, detached smile that Maren had come to despise.

"That was unfortunate," Ivy said. "We really hoped you'd settle in."

"Settle in?" Maren's voice came out slurred. "You kidnapped me. You're keeping me here."

"We're conducting a trial," Ivy said. "You're a participant. The voluntary aspect is regrettable, but the data is valuable."

Maren tried to spit. Her mouth was too dry.

Durst dumped her on the exam table. The cold metal bit into her back. Ivy moved around her, adjusting equipment, humming a tune.

"We're going to need to adjust your dosage," Ivy said. "Clearly the current levels aren't sufficient for compliance."

"I'll never comply," Maren said. "You can't make me."

Ivy laughed. A light, pleasant sound. "Everyone says that at first. But you'll see. The body adapts. The mind follows."

Ivy prepared a new syringe. This one was larger. The needle looked thicker. Maren tried to pull away. Her arms wouldn't move. The drug from before had turned her muscles to jelly.

"What is that?" she asked.

"A cocktail," Ivy said. "Estrogen boosters. Prolactin stimulators. A mild sedative to keep you calm. And a little something to increase your sensitivity. We find that helps with cooperation."

She injected the mixture into Maren's thigh. The heat spread again, but this time it was different. It pooled in her chest, her groin. Her nipples stiffened against the rough fabric of her shirt. Her cunt clenched around nothing, aching. She felt a wave of arousal so intense it made her gasp.

"There we go," Ivy said. "That's better."

Maren shook her head. Tears leaked from the corners of her eyes. "I hate you," she whispered.

"You won't for long," Ivy said. "Now. About the port."

Durst moved to a tray. He picked up a scalpel. The blade glinted.

"What port?" Maren asked.

"The permanent infusion port," Ivy said. "We'll install it just below your collarbone. It will allow us to administer your daily doses without all this fuss with needles. Much more efficient."

"No," Maren said. "No surgery. No."

"It's already decided," Ivy said. "We'll give you a local anesthetic, don't worry. We're not monsters."

She laughed again.

Durst stepped forward. He pressed a cold cloth to Maren's chest, just above her left breast. The antiseptic smell filled her nose. She felt the needle of the local anesthetic. A pinch. Then numbness.

She couldn't feel the incision. But she could see it. Durst's hands moved with practiced precision. Blood welled up, dark against her skin. He inserted the port, a small plastic device with a silicone membrane, and sutured it in place. Each stitch pulled at her flesh.

"There," Durst said. "Done."

Ivy attached a line to the port. She flushed it with saline. Maren felt the liquid enter her bloodstream, cold and strange.

"We'll start the new regimen tonight," Ivy said. "Higher doses. More frequent. You'll be producing more than ever."

Maren stared at the ceiling. The tears had dried. Her body felt heavy, hot, wrong. The port sat under her skin like a foreign object. A permanent reminder of her captivity.

"You can't keep me here forever," she said. "Someone will come looking."

"No one is looking," Ivy said. "Your phone is destroyed. Your camera is in pieces. Your last known location was three states away. You don't exist anymore, Maren. You're just Subject 17."

The words hit her like a physical blow. She closed her eyes. The darkness behind her lids offered no comfort.

The new regimen started that evening. The dose was higher. The effects were immediate. Her breasts ached constantly, swollen tight, and the milk flowed in a steady trickle that soaked through her shirt. Her nipples were so sensitive that the fabric brushing against them made her gasp. The arousal never stopped. It built and built, a pressure with no release.

Ivy came for the first milking session of the new protocol. She lifted Maren's shirt, exposing her heavy breasts. The nipples were engorged, dark pink, leaking thin streams of milk that ran down the curve of her flesh. Ivy wiped them clean with a cool cloth, and even that gentle touch made Maren's breath hitch.

"Sensitive," Ivy murmured. "Good."

She attached the suction cups to Maren's nipples. The machine hummed. The pull was stronger than before, deeper. It drew the milk out in long, steady streams that filled the collection tubes. Maren watched the white liquid flow and felt a twisted sort of shame curl in her belly alongside the arousal.

"How does that feel?" Ivy asked.

Maren didn't answer. She bit her lip. The pleasure was unbearable. It coiled in her belly, hot and tight, and her hips twitched against the table. She tried to hold still, to deny Ivy the satisfaction of seeing her respond.

"The sensitivity enhancement is working well," Ivy said. She adjusted a dial. The suction increased. The machine pulled harder, tugging at Maren's nipples with a rhythmic pulse that seemed to reach straight into her core. Maren's back arched. A moan escaped her throat before she could stop it.

"There it is," Ivy said. "Let go, Maren. It's easier if you let go."

"No," she gasped.

But her body didn't listen. The orgasm built slowly, inexorably. It was like a wave rising from the depths of her. She tried to fight it. She tried to think of anything else. The fence. The road. The world beyond.

The suction pulsed. Milk sprayed from her left breast in a sudden rush, and the release of pressure sent a jolt of pleasure straight to her clit. Her thighs pressed together. Her cunt throbbed, slick and empty, clenching around nothing. The suction cup on her right breast continued its rhythmic pull, and each pulse seemed to echo in her groin, building the tension higher.

The wave crested. It crashed over her. She screamed. The pleasure was too much, too intense, too wrong. Her body shook. Her cunt spasmed, clenching and releasing in time with the suction. Milk flowed faster from both breasts now, spraying in thin arcs that coated the inside of the collection cups. Her nipples felt like they were being milked from the inside out, each pull drawing pleasure up from somewhere deep in her belly.

Ivy watched with clinical interest. She adjusted the dial again, increasing the suction just slightly. Maren's body jerked. A second orgasm followed the first, smaller but no less intense. Her inner walls clamped down on nothing, and she felt her own wetness dripping from her, pooling beneath her on the cold metal table.

"Excellent," Ivy said. "That's a record yield for a first session."

Maren lay there, trembling. The tears came back. She didn't try to stop them.

The days blurred together. The doses came through the port. The milk flowed through the machine. The orgasms arrived whether she wanted them or not. Her body adapted. The resistance faded. Not her mind. Never her mind. But her body learned to comply.

She stopped trying to escape. Not because she had given up. Because she was waiting. Watching. Planning. The port was a weakness. It could be removed. The fence could be climbed. The gate code could be remembered.

She would find a way out.

But for now, she lay in the straw, her body heavy with milk, her skin flushed with arousal, her mind sharp and clear and burning with hate.

She was Subject 17.

But she was still Maren.

And Maren would not break.

Inventory

The clipboard felt like a foreign object against Maren's skin. Not that she could feel it properly anymore. The nerve endings had shifted along with everything else.

Ivy stood at the foot of the gurney, pen poised over the first page. Her smile was the same as it had been on day one. Bright. Professional. Utterly disconnected from the reality of what she was documenting.

"Subject 17. Inventory log. Month six." She read the header aloud as if Maren wasn't there. As if the body on the table was just another piece of equipment.

Maren kept her eyes fixed on the ceiling tiles. She had counted them every day for the first three weeks. Now she just knew.

"We'll start with basic measurements," Ivy said. "Height and weight first."

The scale was built into the gurney. Maren felt it shift beneath her as the mechanisms engaged. A digital display flickered to life at Ivy's side.

"Weight: one hundred sixty-two pounds. That's up twelve from last month." Ivy scribbled the number. "Height unchanged at five foot seven."

"I'm right here," Maren said. Her voice was hoarse. She hadn't used it much lately. Talking required energy she couldn't spare.

Ivy looked up, still smiling. "I know. But this is standard procedure. You don't need to participate."

"I don't need to be here either. But here we are."

The smile didn't waver. Ivy moved to the next page. "Chest measurements. Let's get you positioned."

Hands guided Maren onto her side. She didn't resist. Resistance had proven pointless. The drugs made sure of that. Not enough to sedate her completely. Just enough to drain the fight from her muscles while leaving her mind sharp.

Sharp enough to count every indignity.

The measuring tape wrapped around her ribcage first. Then across the fullest part of her chest. Ivy's fingers were clinical as she adjusted the tape, pulling it snug against the swollen tissue.

"Bust: fifty-two inches. That's a three-inch increase since last quarter." Ivy made a note. "Underbust: thirty-six. The ratio continues to shift."

Maren closed her eyes. She remembered when she had been a 34B. Back when she could wear button-down shirts without gaping. Back when her chest was just a chest and not a production unit.

"Open, please."

The command came with a gentle tap on her lips. Maren opened her mouth. The thermometer slid under her tongue. She waited, counting seconds in her head, while Ivy recorded her temperature.

"Ninety-eight point six. Normal."

"Congratulations," Maren said around the thermometer. "I'm not dead yet."

Ivy removed the device and set it aside. "You're in excellent health, Subject 17. All vitals are strong."

"Because you won't let me die."

"Because we take good care of you." Ivy said it like it was a compliment.

The examination continued. Blood pressure. Heart rate. Reflex tests. Each one documented with the same detached precision. Maren felt like a car at a service station. Fluids checked. Tires rotated. Nothing personal.

"Now for the mammary assessment."

Maren's stomach clenched. She knew what that meant. The breast pump was already being wheeled over. But this wasn't a milking session. This was measurement.

"I need a sample," Ivy explained. "Just one ounce from each side. We'll test the composition."

"You test it every day."

"This is a different panel. We're checking for hormonal shifts."

The suction cups were larger than the ones used for milking. They covered her completely, encasing each breast in clear plastic that fit like a second skin. Ivy adjusted the seals, her fingers working with practiced efficiency. The machine hummed to life.

Maren gritted her teeth. The sensation was familiar now. The initial pull. The rhythmic release. The warmth of milk flowing into the collection tubes. Her body responded automatically. It had been trained to.

The suction began in slow pulses. Each one tugged at her nipples, drawing them forward into the cups. The pressure built gradually, cycling stronger with each pulse. Maren felt the letdown reflex trigger. The milk started flowing, thick and warm, moving through the transparent tubes in steady streams.

She hated how good it felt.

That was the worst part. Not the indignity. Not the clinical observation. The way her body had been rewired to respond to the machines. Each pull sent a jolt through her that landed somewhere between her breasts and her core. Her nipples hardened further inside the cups, and she felt herself grow wet between her legs.

The pump didn't care about her humiliation. It just kept pulling. The rhythmic sucking was relentless. Mechanical. Her breasts tingled and tightened as the milk was drawn out. She could feel each letdown, each release, the pressure building and releasing in waves that matched the machine's cycle.

"Left side: one point two ounces in thirty seconds. Right side: one point one." Ivy made notes without looking up. "Flow rate is consistent with peak lactation."

Maren's breathing had quickened. She tried to slow it. To control it. But her body was responding to the stimulation whether she wanted it to or not. Her back arched slightly off the gurney. Her thighs pressed together. The wetness between her legs grew more pronounced.

"Congratulations," Maren said, her voice tight. "I'm a good cow."

Ivy looked up from her clipboard. For a moment, the smile flickered. "You're not a cow. You're a human subject participating in a clinical trial."

"I didn't consent."

"You signed the waiver."

"The waiver was for a photo shoot. Not for this." Maren gestured at her body. At the tubes. At the room that had become her entire world.

Ivy's expression settled back into professional calm. "The waiver covered all potential outcomes of the trial. It's legally binding."

"I'm going to sue you. When I get out of here, I'm going to sue every single person involved."

"You're not getting out." Ivy said it flatly. Not a threat. Just a fact. "The trial is indefinite. That's also in the waiver."

Maren turned her head away. The ceiling tiles blurred.

The pump continued its work. The suction cups pulsed steadily, drawing out the last drops of the sample. Maren felt the milk slow, her breasts softening slightly as they emptied. The relief was immediate and shameful. The ache that had built over hours finally eased. Her body relaxed against the gurney, and she hated herself for the small sound of satisfaction that escaped her lips.

Ivy removed the cups and wiped Maren's nipples with a sterile cloth. The touch was impersonal. Clinical. But Maren's skin still tingled where the fabric passed. Her nipples remained swollen and sensitive, the milk ducts still open and ready to release more.

"Flow rate is excellent," Ivy noted. "Production has increased fifteen percent since last month's inventory."

"Good for you."

Ivy continued with the inventory. She measured the circumference of each nipple. The areola diameter. The distance between breasts. She recorded the texture of the skin and the visibility of veins.

"Vascularity is increased," she noted. "Consistent with elevated milk production. Areola pigmentation has darkened by two shades since baseline."

"I noticed."

"Have you experienced any discomfort? Tenderness? Sensitivity changes?"

"It hurts all the time."

Ivy nodded, writing. "That's normal for this stage. The tissue is still developing."

"It's not developing. It's being forced to grow."

"The hormones are doing what they're designed to do. Your body is adapting."

Maren laughed. It came out bitter and sharp. "My body is a prison. And you're the warden."

Ivy didn't respond to that. She moved on to the next section of the inventory. Abdominal measurements. Hip width. The curve of Maren's spine.

"Pregnancy status: confirmed. Gestational age: fourteen weeks."

Maren had stopped counting the weeks. She knew she was pregnant. She had known since the test came back positive. Durst had been thorough.

"The fetus is developing normally," Ivy continued. "Heart rate is strong. Movement has been detected."

"I know. I can feel it."

"That's good. It means the pregnancy is viable."

"It means I'm carrying a child I didn't want. In a body I didn't choose. For people I didn't consent to."

Ivy paused. For a moment, she looked almost human. "I understand this is difficult."

"No. You don't. You sit there with your clipboard and your measurements and your cheerful smile. You don't understand anything."

"I understand that you're angry."

"Angry doesn't cover it."

"What would?"

Maren stared at her. The question was so unexpected that she didn't have an answer. She had been angry for so long that the anger had become part of her. Like the milk. Like the pregnancy. Like the constant ache in her chest.

"I want to go home," she said finally. "I want my old body back. I want to forget this ever happened."

Ivy wrote something down. "That's not possible. The changes are permanent."

"Then what's the point of asking?"

"To document your psychological state. It's part of the inventory."

Maren closed her eyes. The tears came anyway. She didn't bother wiping them away.

The examination continued. Ivy measured the angle of Maren's hips. The flexibility of her spine. The elasticity of her skin.

"Stretch marks are present on both breasts and the lower abdomen. Consistent with rapid tissue expansion."

"I know. I can see them."

"They'll fade with time. The color will lighten."

"I don't care about stretch marks. I care about being trapped."

Ivy finished the measurements and set down her clipboard. "The inventory is almost complete. I just need to record the final observations."

She pulled out a voice recorder. Maren had seen it before. Every inventory ended with the same ritual.

"Subject 17. Behavioral observations." Ivy's voice was flat now. Clinical. "Subject remains verbally resistant. Continued expressions of non-consent. Attempts to negotiate for release."

"Because I don't belong here."

"Subject demonstrates high cognitive function. Memory is intact. Reasoning abilities are unimpaired."

"You can't break my mind. No matter what you do to my body."

"Psychological resilience is noted. Subject shows no signs of learned helplessness or Stockholm syndrome."

Maren laughed again. "You want me to love you? For what you've done to me?"

Ivy turned off the recorder. "That's enough for today."

"That's it? You're done?"

"The inventory is complete. I'll file the results with the main database."

Maren sat up slowly. Her body felt heavy. Swollen. Wrong. She looked down at herself. At the breasts that had become obscene. At the curve of her belly. At the marks on her skin.

"What happens now?"

"You go back to Stall 17. The next milking is in two hours."

"And after that?"

"The same routine. It doesn't change."

Maren swung her legs off the gurney. The floor was cold against her feet. She stood, feeling the weight of her body shift. Everything moved differently now. She had to compensate for the extra mass.

"I'm not going to stop fighting," she said.

Ivy gathered her equipment. "I know."

"I'm going to find a way out. I'm going to tell everyone what happened here."

"You've said that before."

"And I'll keep saying it. Every day. Every inventory. Until someone listens."

Ivy paused at the door. For a moment, her professional mask slipped. "I hope you do. I really do."

Then she was gone.

Maren stood alone in the examination room. The lights hummed overhead. The machines beeped softly. She looked at the clipboard lying on the counter. At the pages of measurements and observations.

Subject 17. Female. Age 31. Height five foot seven. Weight one hundred sixty-two pounds. Bust fifty-two inches. Lactating. Pregnant. Resistant.

She was a number. A data point. An entry in a log.

But she was still Maren. Still angry. Still fighting.

She put her hand on her belly. Felt the faint movement inside. The life she hadn't chosen but was carrying anyway.

"I'm sorry," she whispered. "I'm sorry you're going to be born into this."

The door opened. A handler stood there, expression blank.

"Time to go back, Subject 17."

Maren walked past them without speaking. The hallway was the same as always. Gray walls. Fluorescent lights. The smell of antiseptic and milk.

She counted the steps to Stall 17. Same as every time.

The stall door stood open. The bed was made. The pump was ready. Her world in twelve square feet.

She stepped inside. The door closed behind her.

The lock clicked.

Maren sat on the edge of the bed. She looked at the ceiling. She had counted the tiles a thousand times.

"I'm still here," she said to no one. "I'm still Maren. I'm still fighting."

The words echoed in the empty room.

Outside, the ranch continued its work. The other stalls held other subjects. The machines hummed. The milk flowed. The inventory grew.

And Maren waited. For the next milking. For the next measurement. For the next chance.

She would find one. She had to.

Because the alternative was giving up. And she wasn't ready to do that yet.

Not today.

Not ever.
