Orientation and Installation
The lobby was beige. Everything in the building seemed to share that same lifeless color, from the walls to the carpet beneath her feet. Even the fake plants looked as though they had surrendered to existence long ago. Madison Whitestaff pushed her sunglasses up into her dark hair and let the heavy glass door swing shut behind her. Twenty minutes late. Not that it mattered.
She adjusted the strap of her designer handbag and took her time crossing the marble floor. Her heels clicked with deliberate slowness. Let them wait. This was just an internship, a summer of tedious spreadsheets and degrading coffee runs before she returned to school and escaped this corporate nightmare for good.
The receptionist looked up with that plastic smile they all seemed to share. "Can I help you?"
"Maddie Whitestaff. New intern." She let her gaze drift around the room without interest. "I'm here for the orientation thing."
"Ah, yes. You're late."
"Traffic." Maddie offered a halfhearted shrug. "Where do I need to go?"
The receptionist's smile tightened at the corners. "Third floor. Room 305. They started about twenty minutes ago."
"Great. Thanks." Maddie didn't bother to hide her eye roll as she walked toward the elevators. She had missed twenty minutes of corporate brainwashing. What a devastating loss.
The elevator ride gave her time to check her reflection in the polished doors. She looked good. Tight black pencil skirt that hugged her hips. A cream blouse unbuttoned just enough to show the lace edge of her bra. Professional enough to pass inspection, sexy enough to make the old men uncomfortable. That was her strategy. Look good, act bored, collect the paycheck, and leave.
The third floor continued the beige theme. Endless rows of depressing cubicles stretched before her. Room 305 was a small conference room with a long table and a few faces she didn't recognize. A blonde woman in her thirties stood at the front, holding a tablet.
"You must be Madison."
"Call me Maddie."
"I'm Laura Vellem. Head of HR." The woman's smile was professional but her eyes were sharp, assessing. "We started without you. Please have a seat."
Maddie slid into the nearest chair and pulled out her phone. The orientation video was already playing on the screen at the front. Something about company values and teamwork and excellence. She tuned it out after ten seconds.
"Your full attention would be appreciated, Madison."
She looked up. Laura was watching her with that same sharp gaze. "I'm listening."
"The video is required viewing. It covers our code of conduct, harassment policies, and performance expectations."
"Got it." Maddie put her phone face down on the table. She would pick it up again as soon as the woman looked away.
The video dragged on. Maddie counted the ceiling tiles. There were sixty three of them. She wondered if anyone had ever actually watched the whole thing without wanting to die.
When it finally ended, Laura handed out a stack of paperwork. "Standard forms. Tax documents, confidentiality agreements, IT policies. Read and sign each one."
Maddie flipped through the pages without reading. Her signature was already memorized, a quick practiced scribble. She signed the first three forms and slid them across the table.
"You should read them first."
"I'm sure they're fine." She signed the next one. "I'm not planning to steal company secrets or whatever."
Laura's expression didn't change. "The IT policy is particularly important. It covers computer usage, internet access, and software installation. All company laptops have security protocols."
"Cool. I love protocols." Maddie signed the last page and pushed the stack back. "Done."
Laura collected the forms and checked each one. "You're missing the signature on the last page of the IT agreement."
Maddie grabbed the pen and signed without looking. "Happy now?"
"Delighted." Laura's voice was flat. "Your supervisor will be here shortly. He'll show you to your workstation."
Maddie leaned back in her chair and crossed her legs. Her supervisor. Probably some middle aged guy with a receding hairline and a boring tie who would drone on about synergies and deliverables. She could handle it.
The door opened and a man walked in.
He was not what she expected. Tall, broad shouldered, with salt and pepper hair that looked like it was professionally styled. His suit was immaculate. Dark gray, perfectly fitted to his frame. His face was handsome in that stern, disciplined way that made her think of military officers or headmasters at expensive boarding schools.
"Miss Whitestaff."
His voice was deep. Calm. Commanding.
"Mr. Earliman." Laura gestured toward him. "Heads of Operations. He'll be your direct supervisor for the summer."
Maddie stood up and offered her hand. "Nice to meet you."
He took it. His grip was firm, his palm warm. He held her hand a moment longer than necessary. "I trust the orientation went well."
"It was great. Very informative." She let the sarcasm drip from her voice.
Greg Earliman's expression didn't change. "Follow me. I'll show you to your desk."
She followed him through the maze of cubicles. His office was in the corner, glass walls, a large desk, and a view of the city skyline. He stopped at a cubicle just outside his door.
"This is your workstation."
It was small. A desk, a chair, a computer monitor, and a phone. A potted plant that looked as depressed as the ones in the lobby.
"Cozy."
"You'll have everything you need." Greg pulled out the chair and gestured for her to sit. "Your laptop is being configured. It should be ready in a few minutes."
Maddie sat down and spun the chair around. "So what's my first assignment? Coffee? Copies? Alphabetizing the supply closet?"
Greg didn't smile. "Your first assignment is to set up your workstation and familiarize yourself with our systems. I'll walk you through the process."
He picked up a laptop from his office and set it in front of her. It was a standard issue Dell, black and unremarkable. He opened the lid and pressed the power button.
"We take security seriously here. All devices have encrypted drives and monitoring software. You'll need to complete the initial setup before you can access the network."
"Sure." She watched as the screen flickered to life. "What do I need to do?"
"First, I need to install a security suite." He pulled a small USB drive from his pocket. "This contains the necessary protocols. I'll handle the installation."
He plugged the drive into the laptop and typed a series of commands. Maddie watched, bored. The screen showed lines of code she didn't understand. Greg's fingers moved quickly, confidently.
"This will take a few minutes." He turned to face her. "While we wait, let me explain your responsibilities."
She tuned him out again. Something about reports and data entry and professional conduct. She nodded at the right moments and made vague sounds of agreement. Her mind was already planning lunch.
"Miss Whitestaff."
She blinked. "What?"
"I asked if you understand the importance of compliance with company protocols."
"Sure. Totally. I'm all about compliance."
His eyes held hers. They were dark, almost black. "I need to hear you say it."
"Say what?"
"That you understand and will comply with all company directives."
She almost laughed. "Fine. I understand and will comply with all company directives. Happy?"
"Almost." He turned back to the laptop. The installation was complete. "Now I need you to enter your password."
She leaned forward and typed her usual password. "Done."
"Good." Greg clicked a few more buttons. "The system requires a voice calibration test. I need you to read the phrase on the screen."
Maddie looked at the monitor. A single sentence was displayed: "I am ready to learn."
"Seriously?"
"Read it, please."
She rolled her eyes but complied. "I am ready to learn."
"Again."
"I am ready to learn."
"One more time."
"I am ready to learn." Her voice was flat, sarcastic.
Greg nodded. "The system has registered your voice pattern. Now I need to run a final diagnostic." He clicked something and the screen went black for a moment. When it came back, a progress bar was filling slowly.
"This is the part where you tell me it's almost done and I can finally start doing actual work."
"Patience, Miss Whitestaff." Greg's voice was calm. "These protocols are essential for maintaining security."
The progress bar reached one hundred percent. A soft chime came from the speakers.
"Excellent." Greg stood up. "The setup is complete. Your laptop is now fully configured."
Maddie stared at the screen. Something felt different. The laptop looked the same, but the air around her seemed heavier. She shook her head. It was probably just the stale office air.
"Before I leave you to your work, I need to confirm a few things." Greg's voice had a new edge to it. "Do you understand your role here?"
"Yes."
"I need a proper response, Miss Whitestaff. Do you understand your role here?"
She sighed. "Yes, sir."
The warmth hit her instantly.
It started in her chest, a slow bloom of heat that spread through her body like honey. The sensation was immediate and overwhelming, radiating outward from her core. Her skin prickled with awareness, every nerve ending suddenly alive and singing. The heat pooled low in her belly, a heavy, insistent ache that made her thighs press together involuntarily.
Her breath caught in her throat. She could feel her pulse between her legs, a throbbing warmth that had no business being there in the middle of a corporate office. The pleasure was disorienting, clouding her thoughts. For a moment, she forgot where she was. Her nipples hardened against the lace of her bra, visible through the thin fabric of her blouse, and a soft flush crept up her neck to her cheeks.
Then it was gone.
She blinked, suddenly aware of herself again. Greg was watching her with those dark eyes. "Is something wrong?"
"No." Her voice sounded strange, breathless. She cleared her throat. "I'm fine."
"Good." He smiled. It was a small smile, barely a curve of his lips. "Then I'll leave you to get settled. Your first task is on your desktop. Complete it before the end of the day."
He turned and walked into his office, closing the glass door behind him.
Maddie sat frozen. Her heart was pounding. Her skin was still warm, flushed. She touched her cheek. It was hot. Between her legs, the ache lingered, a phantom pulse that reminded her of what had just happened. She shifted in her chair, trying to ignore the dampness she could feel in her underwear.
What the hell was that?
She tried to focus on the laptop screen. There was a folder on the desktop labeled "New Hire Tasks." She opened it. Inside was a single document.
She couldn't concentrate. The warmth was gone but the memory of it lingered. It had felt good. Really good. Better than anything she had felt in months. And it had happened when she said "sir."
No. That was stupid. It was probably just the air conditioning or the coffee she had this morning. Or maybe she was coming down with something. A fever. That would explain the heat, the flush, the way her body had responded.
But it didn't explain the arousal.
She pulled out her phone and texted her friend. "This place is so weird. My boss is a total robot."
Her friend responded immediately. "Is he hot?"
Maddie glanced through the glass wall. Greg was sitting at his desk, typing something on his computer. His shoulders were broad beneath the tailored suit. His jaw was sharp.
"I guess," she typed back. "In a boring, corporate way."
"Get that internship money, girl. Don't let the man get you down."
She smiled and put her phone away. Right. She was here for the money. Three months of pretending to care about spreadsheets and then she was gone.
But the warmth lingered in her memory.
She shook her head and opened the document. It was a list of company policies. Boring. She started reading, but her mind kept drifting back to that moment. The heat. The pleasure. The way her body had responded without her permission. The way she had felt herself get wet, just from saying a single word.
It was nothing. A fluke. A random bodily sensation.
She checked the time on her phone. Three hours until lunch. She could handle three hours.
But when she looked at the laptop screen, she could have sworn she saw a faint flicker. A shadow of something moving in the corner of her vision.
She blinked and it was gone.
Just her imagination.
She went back to reading the policies. But her skin still tingled. And somewhere deep in her chest, a small, unfamiliar flutter refused to settle. The ache between her legs had faded to a whisper, but it was still there, a reminder of what had happened.
The day was just beginning.

The day was just beginning.
Presentation Softening
Maddie adjusted her laptop screen for the third time that morning, then immediately felt ridiculous for doing it. The conference room smelled of stale coffee and dry-erase markers, the same as every Tuesday, but today everything felt slightly off-kilter. Like wearing someone else's glasses.
Yesterday's session with Greg lingered under her skin like a low-grade fever. She'd walked into his office ready to tear strips off him for the scheduling mess, and she'd walked out with thirty minutes of missing memory and a strange warmth pooled low in her belly. The warmth hadn't fully dissipated overnight. She'd felt it when she brushed her teeth. When she'd selected her blazer. When she'd stepped into the elevator and pressed the button for the fourth floor.
"You look like you slept wrong," said Dana from Accounting, settling into the chair beside Maddie's assigned seat at the presentation table.
"I slept fine," Maddie said. The words came out sharper than she intended, but Dana just shrugged and started flipping through her own printed agenda.
Maddie pulled up her slide deck. Seven slides, clean graphics, bullet points she'd honed over the weekend. The content was solid. The delivery was where she planned to make her mark. She'd built in three carefully crafted moments of snark, little barbs aimed at the procurement team's glacial timeline and Greg's "strategic realignment" that had pushed everyone's deadlines back by six weeks. The first one was her favorite: a slide showing the original project timeline versus the current one, with a caption that read "Strategic Realignment: Because 'We Forgot to Plan' Doesn't Sound as Good in Client Emails."
She smiled to herself. Let them try to bristle. She had data.
The room filled gradually. Kevin from Procurement took his usual spot by the window, already scrolling his phone. Two junior analysts whose names Maddie could never remember claimed the back row. And then Greg walked in.
He wore the same charcoal suit from yesterday, or one identical enough that it might as well have been the same. His gaze swept the room with that unhurried confidence that made her want to throw something, and when it landed on Maddie, it stayed for a beat longer than necessary. The corner of his mouth twitched.
That warmth in her belly pulsed once, then settled.
She looked down at her notes. Her fingers felt slightly numb.
"Alright, everyone," Greg said, taking position near the screen rather than the presenter's podium. Giving her the floor but keeping the high ground. "Maddie's going to walk us through the revised timeline proposal. Let's give her our attention."
As if they wouldn't have anyway. As if she needed his permission.
Maddie stood, smoothing her blazer, and clicked to the first slide. "Good morning. For those who haven't been following the project tracker, and I know that's most of procurement, we're now entering week eight of what was originally a six-week sprint."
A small ripple of uncomfortable laughter. Kevin looked up from his phone.
Good. She had them.
She advanced to the second slide, the one with the timeline comparison. This was it. The first real jab. She opened her mouth to deliver the punchline she'd rehearsed in her bathroom mirror, the one about "strategic realignment" and client emails.
"As you can see, the original timeline assumed we'd have vendor contracts locked by week three. Instead, we got what leadership is calling a strategic pivot, which is corporate-speak for..."
She paused. The word she wanted was right there. Right on the tip of her tongue. She could feel it forming, feel the sarcasm building in her chest like pressure behind a valve.
And then something shifted.
It started in her throat. A subtle tightening, like fingers closing around her vocal cords from the inside. Her voice, which had been carrying that familiar edge, suddenly went soft. Not quiet. Soft. The kind of soft that turned a statement into an invitation.
"...which is corporate-speak for taking a little extra time to get things right," she heard herself say.
The words came out warm. Honeyed. Nothing like what she'd planned.
Maddie blinked. Her thighs pressed together beneath the table, a motion she didn't consciously initiate. The warmth in her belly flared, spreading downward, and she felt a flush of heat between her legs that had absolutely no business appearing in a Monday morning presentation.
What the hell?
She cleared her throat. Tried again. "What I mean is, the delay wasn't ideal, but we're working with the revised parameters now and I think we can still hit the Q3 delivery window if we..."
Her voice softened again. Not just the volume, but the texture of it. Like someone had swapped her vocal cords for silk ribbons. She could hear herself speaking and she sounded accommodating. Eager, even. Like she was trying to please someone.
The arousal hit her in a slow wave, starting at the base of her spine and rolling upward. Her nipples tightened against the fabric of her bra. She felt her cheeks flush and told herself it was the room's terrible ventilation.
She knew it wasn't.
"Maddie?" Dana was looking at her with a slightly concerned expression. "You okay? You seem a little... flushed."
"I'm fine," she said, and even that came out gentler than she intended. Like she was reassuring a lover instead of a coworker. "Just warm. The air in here is stuffy."
Kevin had put his phone down entirely. One of the junior analysts in the back row leaned forward.
And Greg. Greg was watching her with an expression she could only describe as satisfied. Not smug, exactly. Something quieter than that. His arms were crossed, his weight settled easily against the wall behind him, and his eyes tracked her with the patience of someone watching a planted seed break soil.
He knew. He knew exactly what was happening to her.
Maddie gripped the edge of the table. Her knuckles went white. She could feel her pulse in places that had nothing to do with her wrists, and every time she tried to summon the sharpness she'd spent her whole career cultivating, it dissolved into something syrupy and compliant before it reached her mouth.
"Let's move to the next slide," she said. Her voice was a murmur. She advanced the deck with fingers that trembled slightly.
Slide three. Budget allocation. She'd planned a quip about "creative accounting" and how the procurement team's contingency fund had become their personal slush pile. She could see the joke in her mind, fully formed, ready to deploy.
She opened her mouth.
The softening came faster this time. Her throat tightened, her voice dropped into a register she barely recognized as her own, and the words that emerged were: "I think we can find some really nice efficiencies if we look at the contingency allocation together."
Together. She said together. Like she wanted to hold hands and skip through the budget spreadsheet.
The warmth between her legs was becoming impossible to ignore. She shifted her weight from one foot to the other and felt the fabric of her underwear pull against swollen flesh. Wet. She was getting wet. In a presentation. In front of her colleagues. In front of Greg.
Her thighs pressed together again, harder this time, and a spark of pleasure shot up through her core that made her breath catch audibly.
"Sorry," she said, and the word came out so soft it was almost a whisper. "Dry throat."
Dana was frowning now. Kevin looked vaguely amused. The junior analysts were exchanging glances.
And Greg's gaze hadn't moved. If anything, it had intensified. She could feel it on her skin like sunlight through a window, warm and inescapable. When she risked a direct look at him, he raised one eyebrow a fraction of an inch. A tiny, private acknowledgment.
I did this to you, that look said. And you can't stop it.
Maddie looked away first.
She made it through slides four and five on autopilot, reading the bullet points with a voice that sounded like it belonged to a stranger. A softer, warmer, more agreeable stranger who didn't know how to be sarcastic even if her career depended on it. Every time she tried to inject even a hint of her usual edge, the softening would wash over her and she'd find herself saying things like "I think we can work with that" and "I appreciate everyone's patience" and "I'm really excited about the collaborative opportunities here."
She wanted to scream.
Instead, she smiled. A warm, genuine-looking smile that she could feel forming on her face without her permission. Her cheeks ached with it.
The arousal was a constant hum now, a low-frequency vibration that made it difficult to think in straight lines. She could feel her own wetness with every small movement, feel the way her body was responding to something it had been conditioned to respond to, and the worst part was that it felt good. Not just physically, though the physical sensation was overwhelming enough. It felt right. Like her body had learned a new language overnight and was eager to speak it.
Slide six. The risk assessment. She'd planned to call out three specific procurement decisions that had created unnecessary exposure. Three names. Three failures. She'd had the data, the timeline, and the receipts.
"I think the risk profile here shows some opportunities for us to support each other better," she said, and her voice was so warm it practically curled at the edges. "I'd love to work with the procurement team on tightening these up."
Love. She said love. She never used that word in professional contexts. She'd made fun of people who used that word in professional contexts.
Kevin actually smiled at her. Kevin, who she'd once made cry in a status meeting by calling his vendor selection process "optimistic to the point of delusion," was smiling at her like she'd offered him a gift.
She wanted to crawl under the table and die. She also wanted to press her thighs together one more time, just to feel that spark again. The two impulses warred inside her, and she wasn't sure which one was winning.
Slide seven. Final slide. The summary and next steps. She'd planned to close with something about "learning from our mistakes, if procurement is capable of learning," which even she'd admitted was a bit much but would have been funny.
She didn't even try. She knew what would happen. Her throat would tighten, her voice would go soft, and she'd end up saying something about how much she valued everyone's contributions and how excited she was to move forward together.
Which is exactly what she said.
"Thank you all so much for your time," she finished, and her voice was barely above a whisper. "I really appreciate the chance to share this with you."
There was a beat of silence. Then polite applause. Not the awkward, defensive silence she usually generated. Actual applause. Like she'd given a nice, friendly presentation that made everyone feel good about themselves.
Maddie sat down. Her legs were shaking. The chair was warm where she made contact, and she could feel the dampness in her underwear as a distinct, undeniable fact. She crossed her legs under the table and the pressure sent another pulse of sensation through her that made her bite the inside of her cheek hard enough to taste copper.
Dana leaned over. "That was... different. You okay? You seem kind of off today."
"I'm fine," Maddie said, and it came out like a sigh. "Just trying a different approach."
"It was nice," Dana said, in a tone that suggested she wasn't sure if that was a compliment.
Nice. Maddie wanted to throw up. Or cry. Or press her hand between her legs until the throbbing stopped.
Greg pushed off the wall and moved to the front of the room. "Great work, Maddie. Really constructive approach today."
His voice was warm. Approving. Like she'd done exactly what he wanted.
Because she had.
He held her gaze for a moment longer than professional, and in that look she saw everything she needed to know. He'd done this to her. Yesterday, in that office with the missing thirty minutes. He'd done something, changed something, and now every time she tried to be herself, her body would betray her.
She should be furious. She was furious. But the fury was wrapped in layers of warmth and wetness and a strange, reluctant gratitude that her body was expressing without her consent.
"Thanks," she said. Her voice was still soft. She couldn't make it hard. "I'm glad it landed well."
Greg smiled. A small, precise smile. "I think we'll see more of this Maddie going forward. It suits you."
More of this Maddie. Like there were two of her now. Like the sharp, capable woman she'd been yesterday morning was being overwritten by this soft, compliant version who said "love" in meetings and meant it.
As the room emptied, Maddie gathered her things with hands that wouldn't stop trembling. Her laptop slid into its bag. Her notes went into the folder. Her body was still humming with arousal she couldn't will away, and every movement reminded her of the wet fabric between her thighs.
Greg was the last to leave. He paused at the door, half-turning back toward her.
"Same time tomorrow," he said. Not a question.
She didn't answer. But her body, traitorous and warm and already anticipating, answered for her with a flush that spread from her cheeks to her chest to the place between her legs that hadn't stopped throbbing since she'd tried to make a joke about procurement.
The door closed behind him.
Maddie sat alone in the empty conference room, legs pressed tightly together, and tried to remember what it had felt like to be mean.
She couldn't.
Chapter Text Request
It looks like you've provided your writing instructions and intentions for Chapter 3, but I don't see the actual chapter text that you'd like me to edit.
To help you with this task, I'll need the actual Chapter 3 text that you've written and want me to edit along with the Story Bible or relevant details about the characters, setting, and plot which is optional but helpful for context.
Once you share the chapter prose, I'll be happy to edit it using the same style and tone while addressing overused patterns, repetitive phrases, and structural issues.
I will also expand any explicit scenes to make them longer and more satisfying, ensure proper contractions in dialogue, avoid em-dashes and replace them with better transitions, and format the output in HTML with an H1 tag for the chapter title.
Please share the chapter text, and I'll get started on the edit right away.
Happy Hour Exposure
The afternoon light was fading through the office windows when Laura Vellem appeared at Maddie's cubicle entrance, a knowing smile on her perfectly glossed lips.
"We're heading to O'Malley's in ten. Company tradition. First week survivors get a round."
Maddie's stomach tightened. She hadn't spoken to Greg since the edging session two days ago. The memory of her body refusing to obey her own commands still burned in her chest. She'd stayed late every evening, avoiding the hallways where his voice might find her.
"I'm not really a happy hour person," she said, her voice flat.
Laura's smile widened. "It's not optional, sweetheart. Greg's orders. Everyone attends."
The name sent a pulse through Maddie's thighs. She pressed them together under her desk, furious at her own reaction.
"Fine. Give me a few minutes."
Laura nodded and disappeared. Maddie stared at her computer screen, at the innocuous spreadsheet she'd been pretending to work on. Her fingers trembled over the keyboard. She could feel the program lurking in the background, that hidden software Greg had installed on her first day. She'd tried to find it, to delete it, but every search came up empty.
She was trapped.
O'Malley's was a polished Irish pub three blocks from the office, all dark wood and brass fixtures and the smell of stale beer. The marketing team had claimed a corner of the long bar, a cluster of tables pushed together under a flat screen playing muted sports highlights.
Maddie walked in behind Laura, her heels clicking against the worn hardwood floor. She'd changed into a tighter blouse before leaving, a silky red number she usually reserved for dates. She hadn't meant to. Her hands had simply chosen it from her closet while her mind screamed no.
The program was learning her wardrobe.
Greg sat at the head of the table, a glass of whiskey in front of him. He didn't look up when she entered, but she felt his attention like a physical weight settling on her shoulders.
"Madison. Glad you could join us."
His voice was calm, professional. But the word "Madison" carried something extra, a subtle emphasis that made her knees weak.
She took the empty seat across from him, between Derby Hestor and a senior account manager she'd only met once. The table was already buzzing with conversation, the easy camaraderie of people who'd worked together for years.
Derby leaned toward her, his cologne heavy and familiar. "First happy hour. You'll learn to love them."
"I doubt that," she said, the words coming out sharper than she intended.
Derby's eyebrows rose. "Still got that attitude, huh?"
Maddie opened her mouth to snap back, but the words died in her throat. A warmth spread through her chest, that familiar heat that preceded a trigger activation. She gripped the edge of the table, her knuckles whitening.
No. Not here. Not in front of everyone.
"Actually," she heard herself say, her voice suddenly soft and honeyed, "I think I'm going to like it here. Everyone's been so welcoming."
The words weren't hers. They poured out of her mouth like syrup, sweet and false, while her mind screamed in protest.
Derby grinned. "Well, that's a change of tune."
"She's adjusting," Greg said, his voice carrying over the table. "Aren't you, Madison?"
Maddie's eyes met his. She saw the satisfaction there, the quiet pleasure of watching her perform. Her body responded before her mind could catch up, a nod that felt both voluntary and forced.
"Yes, sir. I'm adjusting."
The word "sir" slipped out like it belonged there. Like it had always belonged there.
Laura appeared beside her, two glasses of wine in her hands. She set one in front of Maddie. "White. You look like a white wine girl."
Maddie took the glass, her fingers wrapping around the stem. The wine was cold, the glass sweating in the warm bar air. She brought it to her lips and drank, the tart liquid doing nothing to cool the heat building under her skin.
The conversation flowed around her. She heard fragments, jokes about clients, complaints about deadlines, the usual office chatter. But her attention kept drifting back to Greg, to the way his fingers wrapped around his whiskey glass, to the sound of his voice when he spoke to the table.
She hated him. She hated what he'd done to her. But her body didn't care about hate.
"Madison, tell everyone about your presentation last week."
Greg's voice cut through the noise. The table went quiet, faces turning toward her.
Maddie's heart hammered. The presentation. The one where her voice had gone soft, where her thighs had pressed together, where the entire room had watched her stumble through her slides.
"It went well," she said, her voice careful. "The client seemed satisfied."
"That's not what I heard," Derby said, a grin spreading across his face. "I heard you got all flustered. Couldn't even finish your sentences."
Maddie's face burned. "I was nervous. It was my first big presentation."
"Nervous," Laura repeated, drawing the word out. "Is that what we're calling it?"
The table laughed. The sound was good-natured, but Maddie felt the sting of humiliation anyway. She was being mocked, and she couldn't fight back. The program wouldn't let her.
"Tell them what you said to Mr. Chen," Greg prompted, his voice light. "When he asked about the quarterly projections."
Maddie's mouth opened. She tried to stop it, tried to clamp her jaw shut, but the words came anyway.
"I said I'd need to review the numbers more carefully, but that I was confident we could meet the targets with the right approach."
The words were professional, reasonable. But they came out in that new voice, the soft, breathy tone that had replaced her sharp tongue. The voice that made men lean closer, that made their eyes drop to her lips.
Derby whistled. "Damn. You really have changed."
She wanted to scream at him, to tell him she hadn't changed, that she was being forced into this. But her body wouldn't cooperate. Instead, she smiled, a demure, practiced smile that felt like a mask glued to her face.
"I'm just trying to fit in," she said.
Greg raised his glass. "To fitting in."
The table echoed him. Maddie raised her glass too, her hand steady even as her mind raged.
The conversation moved on. Someone ordered another round. The sports highlights shifted to a baseball game. Maddie sat in her chair, her body perfectly composed, her hands folded in her lap, while inside she was screaming.
She felt a hand on her knee.
Her body jerked, but she didn't pull away. The hand was warm, insistent, sliding up her thigh under the table. She looked to her right. Derby was watching the game, his expression neutral, but his hand was moving higher.
"Don't," she whispered, the word barely audible.
"Don't what?" Derby asked, his voice innocent. His fingers traced the hem of her skirt.
Maddie's breath caught. She should push him away. She should slap his hand, make a scene, do anything to stop this. But her body didn't move. It stayed still, accepting, as if this was what it had been trained for.
As if this was what she wanted.
She looked across the table at Greg. He was watching her, his whiskey glass halfway to his lips. There was no surprise in his eyes. No concern. Only that quiet satisfaction, that patient approval.
He knew. He'd planned this.
The realization hit her like a slap. Derby wasn't acting on his own. He'd been given permission, or at least, he'd been allowed to act. Greg was testing her, seeing how far the triggers would let her go.
Derby's fingers found the edge of her panties. She was wet, embarrassingly wet, her body responding to the touch despite her mind's revulsion. The thin fabric was already soaked, clinging to her swollen flesh, and when his fingertips brushed against it, she felt the heat of her own arousal through the material.
"Please," she whispered, not sure if she was begging him to stop or to continue.
"Please what?" Derby asked, his voice low, meant only for her.
She couldn't answer. The words wouldn't come. Her throat was tight, her breath shallow, her entire body trembling with the effort of fighting her own responses.
The program was winning.
Derby's fingers pressed harder, sliding under the fabric. The first touch of his skin against her bare sex sent a jolt through her. She was slick, impossibly slick, her body betraying her with every passing second. His middle finger found her entrance and slipped inside with embarrassing ease, her walls clenching around him involuntarily.
Maddie's hips bucked, a soft gasp escaping her lips. She gripped the edge of the table, her nails digging into the wood, trying to anchor herself against the sensation. His finger curled inside her, finding the spot that made her vision blur, and began a slow, deliberate rhythm.
"Everything okay down there?" Laura asked, her voice cutting through the haze.
Maddie looked up. Laura was watching her, a knowing smile on her face. She knew. She could see what was happening under the table.
"Fine," Maddie managed, her voice strained. "Just fine."
Derby added a second finger. The stretch made her whimper, the sound disguised as a cough. She reached for her wine glass and drank, trying to occupy her hands, her mouth, anything to appear normal. But the wine trembled in the glass, and she set it down before she spilled it.
His thumb found her clit. She bit her lip, hard, the pain grounding her. She would not make a sound. She would not give them the satisfaction. But his fingers worked her with practiced precision, curling and stroking while his thumb circled that swollen bud in tight, maddening circles.
But her body didn't care about pride. Her hips moved against his hand, chasing the pressure, seeking the release that had been denied her for days. The edging. The punishment. The desperate, endless need that had been building since Greg installed that program. Every nerve ending was screaming for release, her walls clenching around Derby's fingers in rhythmic pulses she couldn't control.
She was going to come. Right here, in front of everyone, with Derby's fingers inside her and Greg watching and Laura smiling.
"No," she breathed, the word a prayer.
But the orgasm was already building, a wave of heat rolling through her body. She gripped the edge of her chair, her knuckles white, her breath coming in short, sharp gasps. Derby's fingers moved faster, his thumb pressing harder, and she felt herself climbing toward that edge, that terrible, beautiful edge she'd been kept from for so long.
"Madison," Greg said, his voice cutting through the noise of the bar. "Why don't you tell everyone what you're thinking right now?"
The trigger activated. Her mouth opened.
"I'm thinking about how good it feels to be here," she said, her voice dreamy, distant. "How much I appreciate everyone being so kind to me. How I want to make everyone happy."
The words poured out of her, sweet and compliant, while Derby's fingers worked her toward the edge. She was going to come. She was going to come and everyone would know. Her thighs were trembling, her breath ragged, and she could feel herself tightening around his fingers as the pressure built to an unbearable peak.
"Almost there," Derby murmured, his breath warm against her ear. His fingers curled one final time, pressing against that spot deep inside her, and his thumb flicked across her clit with devastating precision.
She wanted to deny it. She wanted to pull away, to run, to escape the bar and the program and the horrible, wonderful feeling of his fingers inside her. But she couldn't.
The orgasm broke over her like a wave. Her body shuddered, her walls clamping down hard on Derby's fingers, pulsing in rhythmic contractions she couldn't hide. A soft moan escaped her lips, followed by a gasp she couldn't swallow back. Her hips jerked against his hand, riding the waves of pleasure, her body completely beyond her control. She felt the wetness flood out of her, soaking his fingers, soaking her panties, the slick heat spreading between her thighs.
The second wave hit before the first had faded, a sharp spike of pleasure that made her grip the table so hard the wine glasses rattled. She bit down on her lip, tasting blood, but another moan slipped through anyway. Her body convulsed in the chair, her back arching slightly, her nipples pressing hard against the silky fabric of her blouse.
Derby kept his fingers inside her through the aftershocks, feeling every tremor, every involuntary clench. When her body finally stilled, he slowly withdrew, his fingers sliding out of her with a wet sound that seemed impossibly loud in the noisy bar.
He brought his fingers to his mouth, licking them clean with slow, deliberate strokes of his tongue. His eyes never left hers. The taste of her was on his lips, and he smiled as he savored it.
"Delicious," he said.
The table erupted in laughter. Maddie sat frozen, her body still trembling with aftershocks, her mind reeling. They knew. They all knew. Her panties were ruined, her thighs were wet, and the scent of her own arousal hung in the air around her like a confession.
She looked at Greg. He was smiling, a small, satisfied smile that made her stomach clench.
"See?" he said, raising his glass. "She's adjusting beautifully."
The table toasted. Maddie raised her glass too, her hand shaking, her eyes burning with unshed tears.
She was their toy. Their plaything. And she was beginning to realize that there was no escape.
Later, when the bar was emptying and the staff was gathering coats and calling rides, Laura leaned close to Maddie's ear.
"You did well tonight," she said, her voice soft. "Greg's very pleased with you."
Maddie's body warmed at the words. She hated herself for it, but the praise felt good. It felt right.
"Thank you," she heard herself say.
Laura smiled. "You're welcome. Now go home and get some rest. Tomorrow's going to be a big day."
Maddie nodded, not trusting her voice. She stood on shaky legs, her body still humming from the orgasm, her mind a storm of shame and confusion. Something else lingered beneath it all, something that felt dangerously like acceptance.
She walked out of the bar into the cool night air, the door swinging shut behind her. She stood on the sidewalk, her breath fogging in the darkness, and tried to remember who she used to be.
The memory was fading.
And somewhere, deep in the back of her mind, a voice whispered that maybe that was for the best.
She didn't fight the voice.
She was too tired to fight anymore.
Her ride arrived. She got in. The driver asked if she'd had a good night.
"Yes," she said, her voice automatic. "A very good night."
She watched the city lights blur past the window, her reflection ghostly in the glass. The woman staring back at her looked like Madison Whitestaff. But the eyes were different. Softer. More willing.
She closed her eyes and let the motion of the car carry her home.
Tomorrow would bring more triggers, more commands, more public humiliation.
And part of her was already looking forward to it.
That was the worst part.
The thought should have horrified her. But as the car turned onto her street, as the familiar buildings slid past, she felt only a strange, quiet calm.
She was changing. She could feel it, deep in her bones, in the way her body responded to commands she didn't give, in the way her mind was slowly surrendering.
She didn't know if she could stop it.
She wasn't sure she wanted to.
The car stopped. She got out. She walked up the steps to her apartment, her heels clicking against the concrete, her body still warm and wet and satisfied.
She unlocked the door. She stepped inside. She closed the door behind her and leaned against it, her breath coming in long, shaky exhales.
The apartment was dark. Quiet. Empty.
She was alone.
But she didn't feel alone.
She felt Greg's presence like a shadow in the corner of her mind, a constant, watchful presence that never left her. She felt the program humming in her neural pathways, waiting for the next command, the next trigger, the next moment of surrender.
She walked to her bedroom. She undressed. She lay down on her bed, staring at the ceiling.
Her phone buzzed on the nightstand. A text from an unknown number.
"Good girl. Sleep well. Tomorrow we begin again."
She should have been angry. She should have been terrified.
Instead, she smiled.
"Thank you, sir," she typed back. "I will."
She set the phone down and closed her eyes, her body curling into the sheets, her mind drifting toward sleep.
She dreamed of triggers and commands and the sound of Greg's voice telling her she was perfect.
And in her dream, she believed every word he said.
Private Correction
The email arrived late in the afternoon, just as Maddie had been plotting her escape. She stared at the subject line: Private Session. Conference Room B. Do not be late.
Her fingers hovered over the keyboard, ready to type some excuse or deflection, any reason why she couldn't possibly stay after hours. But her body had already started moving. She was standing before she made the conscious choice to stand. Her bag remained under the desk. Her laptop stayed open.
"Fuck," she whispered, but the word came out soft, almost reverent.
The office emptied around her. Laura passed by with a knowing smile. Derby nodded as he grabbed his jacket. No one asked why she was staying. No one needed to. They all knew what happened when Greg summoned someone for a private session. The stories had circulated. The rumors had grown teeth.
Maddie walked to Conference Room B on legs that didn't feel like her own. The hallway stretched longer than she remembered. The fluorescent lights buzzed with a frequency that made her teeth ache. Or maybe that was the anticipation.
She stopped at the door. Her hand reached for the handle. Inside, she could hear the low hum of the projector, the soft click of a keyboard. Greg was already there.
Her knuckles whitened around the metal. Part of her wanted to turn and run. The other part, the one that had grown louder over the past weeks, wanted to push the door open and kneel.
She pushed.
The room was dimmer than she expected. The blinds were drawn. The table had been pushed against the wall, leaving the center of the room open. Greg sat in a chair facing the door, his laptop balanced on his knees, his expression unreadable.
"Close the door, Madison."
She did. The click of the latch sounded like a prison gate.
"Come here."
Her feet carried her forward. She stopped in front of him, close enough to see the gray in his temples, the slight curve of his mouth.
"You've been having a difficult week," he said. It wasn't a question.
Maddie opened her mouth to deny it, to snap back, to reclaim some scrap of her former attitude. But what came out was, "Yes, sir."
The word sir hung in the air between them. A warmth spread through her chest, a flicker of something that might have been pride if it hadn't felt so much like surrender.
"I think we need to address that," Greg continued. He set the laptop aside and stood. He was taller than her, broader, and in this room, at this moment, he seemed to fill every available space. "I think you need to understand that your body doesn't belong to you anymore."
"That's not..." She swallowed. "That's not true."
"Isn't it?" He reached out and took her chin between his thumb and forefinger. The touch was light, almost gentle. But it held her in place like iron. "Tell me you can leave right now."
She tried to step back. Her feet wouldn't move.
"Tell me you can raise your hand and slap me."
Her arm twitched. Her fingers curled into a fist. But the fist stayed at her side.
"Tell me you can say no."
She opened her mouth. The word no formed on her tongue. But her throat closed around it, and what came out was a soft, desperate whimper.
Greg smiled. It was a small thing, barely a movement of his lips, but it changed everything. "That's what I thought."
He released her chin and stepped back. "Remove your blouse."
Her hands flew to the buttons before her mind could catch up. She watched them work, observed her fingers slide each button free, saw the fabric part to reveal the lace beneath. She wanted to stop. She wanted to scream. But her body was already shrugging the blouse off her shoulders, already letting it fall to the floor.
"Good girl."
The words hit her like a physical blow. Heat exploded through her chest, down her spine, between her thighs. Her knees buckled. She caught herself on the edge of the table, gasping.
"What... what was that?"
Greg watched her with calm satisfaction. "That was the beginning of your correction." He circled her slowly. His footsteps were soft on the carpet, but she registered each one like a drumbeat. "You've been fighting the triggers. I can see it in your posture, in the way you hesitate before you obey. You're still trying to hold onto that bratty little attitude."
"I'm not..." She gasped as his hand touched her lower back. "I'm not trying to..."
"Yes, you are. And that's why we're here tonight. To remove the last of your resistance."
His hand slid down, over the curve of her hip, across the waistband of her skirt. The heat of his palm bled through the fabric, and her skin prickled with goosebumps in its wake.
"I'm going to install some new commands," he said. "Deeper ones. Ones that go straight to the part of you that needs to obey."
"Please." The word escaped before she could stop it. She wasn't sure if she was begging for mercy or begging for more.
"Please what, Madison?"
"I don't... I can't..."
"You can't what?" His hand stopped moving. He stood behind her, close enough that she could feel his breath on her bare shoulder. "You can't resist? You can't think? You can't remember why you were fighting in the first place?"
All of it. Every word was true. Her mind was a fog of need and desperate, aching submission. She couldn't remember why she had ever thought defiance was a good idea. She couldn't recall what her old self had sounded like. All she could hear was his voice, low and patient and inexorable.
"Turn around."
She turned. Her skirt rode up as she moved, exposing more of her thighs. She didn't try to fix it.
Greg looked at her. His gaze traveled from her face to her chest, then lower, tracing the line of her hips down to her bare feet. She had kicked off her heels somewhere. She didn't remember when.
"You're beautiful when you're obedient," he said. "Do you know that?"
Something warm bloomed in her chest. Something that felt dangerously close to happiness.
"Say thank you."
"Thank you." The words came easily. Too easily.
"Now kneel."
Her knees hit the carpet. The impact sent a jolt through her body, but she didn't feel pain. She felt relief. She felt right.
Greg crouched in front of her. His hand found her hair, fingers threading through the dark strands, gripping gently at the base of her skull. "You've been fighting the wrong battle, Madison. You thought your attitude was your strength. But your real strength is in surrender. In letting go. In being a good girl for me."
The phrase good girl echoed through her mind. It lit up pathways she didn't know existed. It rewired something fundamental in her brain.
"I'm going to give you a gift," he continued. "Every time I call you a good girl, you're going to feel pleasure. Deep, overwhelming pleasure that starts in your chest and spreads through your whole body. And when I tell you to come, you're going to come. Not because you choose to. Because you can't help it."
"Please," she whispered again. She didn't know what she was asking for. She didn't care.
"Good girl."
The pleasure hit her like a wave. It started in her chest, warm and golden, then radiated outward through her ribs, her belly, her limbs. Her nipples tightened against the lace of her bra, aching peaks that strained toward his touch. Her thighs pressed together, seeking friction where there was none. A moan escaped her lips, low and helpless, the sound of something inside her cracking open.
"That's it," Greg said. "That's my good girl."
Another wave crashed through her, stronger this time. She felt herself swaying, felt his hand steadying her at the nape of her neck, grounding her while the pleasure unmade her. The carpet was rough beneath her knees. The air kissed her bare skin. Everything felt heightened, sharpened, as if every nerve ending had been tuned to a single frequency: his voice.
"You're going to remember this feeling," he said, his lips close to her ear now. "Every time you think about defying me, you're going to remember how good it feels to be a good girl. And you're going to choose obedience. Not because you have to. Because you want to."
She wanted to. God, she wanted to. She wanted to be good for him. She wanted to earn his praise. She wanted to feel this way forever, suspended in this warm golden haze where nothing mattered except his voice and his touch and the word that made her whole.
"Stand up."
She stood. Her legs were shaky, but she stood.
"Remove your skirt."
Her hands found the zipper. The sound of it descending seemed impossibly loud in the quiet room. The fabric loosened around her hips, slid down her thighs, pooled at her feet in a whisper of wool. She stepped out of it and stood before him in nothing but her bra and panties, both lace, both black, both suddenly feeling like armor she didn't need.
"Bra."
She reached behind her. The clasp gave way with a soft click. The straps slid down her arms, catching briefly on her elbows before falling free. She let it drop. Her breasts were bare now, the nipples still tight and flushed from the pleasure he'd already wrung from her.
"Panties."
She hooked her thumbs in the waistband and pushed them down. The lace dragged over her skin, over the curve of her hips, down her thighs. They joined the rest of her clothes on the floor. She stood naked before him, exposed, vulnerable, and wet. She could feel it between her thighs, the slick evidence of her arousal, humiliating and undeniable.
Greg looked at her. His gaze was clinical, assessing, but there was heat beneath it. She could see it in the way his pupils dilated, in the slight tension in his jaw, in the way his fingers curled briefly before relaxing.
"Turn around. Hands on the table."
She obeyed. The table was cool against her palms, a stark contrast to the heat radiating from her skin. She bent forward, feeling the air touch every inch of her, feeling the wetness between her legs grow more pronounced as the position opened her slightly. Exposed. Available. His.
Greg's hand touched her lower back. Then his lips, warm and dry, pressed against her spine. She shivered. His mouth traced a path up her back, slow and deliberate, each kiss leaving a brand of heat that sank into her bones. When he reached the nape of her neck, he paused. His breath was hot against her skin.
"You're going to come for me now," he said. "Not because you choose to. Because I tell you to. Because you're my good girl."
His hand slid around her hip, fingers splaying across her lower belly before dipping lower. The first touch of his fingers against her sex made her gasp. She was soaked, embarrassingly wet, and his fingers slid through her folds with ease. He found her clit with unerring precision, circling it once, twice, before settling into a slow, maddening rhythm.
"Good girl."
The word and the touch hit her simultaneously. The orgasm ripped through her without further warning, without preamble, a detonation at the center of her being. Her vision went white. Her inner walls clenched around nothing, spasming with the need to be filled. Her knees gave out. She would have collapsed if Greg hadn't caught her, his arm locking around her waist, his fingers still working her through the aftershocks.
"That's it. That's my good girl. Let go. Let me have it all."
She came again, the second orgasm building on the ruins of the first. His fingers pressed harder, moved faster, and her body responded like an instrument he'd spent weeks learning to play. The pleasure crested, broke, and washed over her in waves. She heard herself making sounds she didn't recognize, desperate animal noises that echoed off the conference room walls.
"Good girl. Good girl. Good girl."
Each repetition sent another spike of pleasure through her. Her body convulsed in his arms. Her thighs trembled. The wetness coated his fingers, her thighs, the inside of her legs. She could smell herself, musky and sharp, and the humiliation of it only made her come harder.
When it finally subsided, she was slumped against the table, trembling, gasping, tears streaming down her face. She didn't know when she had started crying. She didn't care. Her body felt hollowed out, emptied, a vessel waiting to be filled with whatever he chose to put there.
Greg withdrew his hand slowly. She heard him taste her on his fingers, a soft hum of approval. Then he turned her around, cupped her face in his hands, and wiped the tears away with his thumbs. "Look at me."
She looked. His eyes were dark, intense, but there was something soft in them too. Something that looked almost like affection.
"You did so well," he said. "I'm proud of you."
The words hit her like a benediction. She felt herself smiling, a real smile, the first one in days that didn't feel forced.
"Thank you, sir." The words came from somewhere deep inside her. Somewhere that had been waiting for permission to speak.
"You're welcome, good girl."
She felt the pleasure ripple through her again, softer this time, a warm afterglow that settled in her bones. She leaned into it. She leaned into him.
Greg held her for a long moment. His hand stroked her hair, her back, her arm. It was almost tender. Almost gentle. His other arm remained wrapped around her waist, keeping her upright, keeping her close.
"This is who you are now," he said. "This is who you were always meant to be. My good girl. My obedient intern. My perfect little toy."
She nodded against his chest. She didn't have words. She didn't need them.
"Get dressed."
She pulled away. Her clothes were scattered across the floor. She picked them up and put them on, one piece at a time. Her hands were still shaking. Her body was still humming. The panties were a lost cause, soaked through, so she tucked them into her bag and pulled on the skirt without them. The fabric against her bare, sensitive skin made her shiver.
Greg watched her from his chair. His laptop was open again. He was typing something. Notes, perhaps. Observations. Plans for what came next.
When she was dressed, she stood in front of him, waiting.
"You can go home now," he said. "But I want you to remember something."
"Yes, sir?"
"Tomorrow morning, when you walk into this office, you're going to feel a pull. A need to find me. To check in. To ask if I need anything." He smiled. "And you're going to come find me. Not because you have to. Because you want to."
She felt the command settle into her mind like a seed taking root. She knew it would grow. She knew she would obey.
"Yes, sir."
"Good girl."
The pleasure washed over her one last time, a promise and a reward and a chain all at once.
She walked out of the conference room on legs that still felt unsteady. The hallway was dark. The office was empty. She made her way to her desk, gathered her things, and left.
In the elevator, she caught her reflection in the polished metal doors. Her cheeks were flushed. Her eyes were bright. She looked different. She felt different.
She felt like a good girl.
The thought should have horrified her. Instead, it made her smile.
Under the Table
The morning sun streamed through Maddie's apartment window, but she barely noticed. She stood in front of her closet, hands trembling as she selected a conservative navy blouse and matching pencil skirt. The fabric felt strange against her skin, too modest, too professional. A month ago she would have worn something tighter, something lower cut, something designed to make the old men in the boardroom uncomfortable.
Now she dressed to please Greg.
The thought made her stomach clench with a confusing mix of shame and anticipation. She fastened the blouse buttons all the way up, something she never did, and smoothed the skirt down past her knees. The mirror showed a different woman. Softer. More obedient. Her fingers lingered on the collar of her blouse, adjusting it once, then again, until it sat exactly right against her throat.
Her phone buzzed. A message from Greg.
Client meeting this morning. Conference room B. Come prepared.
She typed back immediately. Yes sir.
The words felt natural now. That terrified her more than anything.
Traffic was light, and she arrived at the office with time to spare. The receptionist waved her through with a knowing smile that Maddie pretended not to see. She settled into her cubicle, opening her laptop, and the familiar warmth bloomed through her chest as the screensaver flickered. The training program was always there, always waiting.
She pulled up the meeting agenda. Harrison Industries. A major account. Greg had been courting them for months, and today was the final pitch. Maddie's role was simple: take notes, look professional, and reinforce Greg's presentation with her presence.
Simple.
Except nothing was simple anymore.
Her thighs pressed together as she thought about the meeting. About being in a room with Greg for two hours. About the way his voice made her body respond before her mind could catch up. She had spent the weekend replaying Friday's session in her head, the way he had called her a good girl, the way her body had shattered with pleasure at his command.
She wanted it again.
The admission sent a hot flush through her. She was supposed to be fighting this. She was supposed to be finding a way to break the conditioning, to escape, to go back to being the sharp-tongued brat who mocked corporate culture and rolled her eyes at authority.
But that woman felt like a stranger now.
Greg appeared at her cubicle a quarter hour before the meeting. He looked immaculate as always, dark suit perfectly fitted, salt-and-pepper hair precisely styled. His presence made the air thick.
"Madison." His voice was calm, professional. "Walk with me."
She rose, her heels clicking against the polished floor as she followed him toward the conference room. The hallway stretched long and empty, and she could feel his gaze on her back, assessing her.
"You dressed appropriately today," he said, not turning around.
"Yes sir."
"Good. The client is traditional. Conservative. You'll be the picture of professionalism."
"I understand."
He stopped at the conference room door and turned to face her. His eyes held hers, dark and commanding. "There's one more thing."
Her heart rate spiked. "Sir?"
"During the meeting, I may need to remind you of your training. If I do, you'll comply instantly. You won't hesitate. You won't draw attention. Do you understand?"
"Yes sir." The words came out breathy, needy.
"Good girl."
The praise hit her like a wave of warmth, spreading through her chest and settling low in her belly. She swayed slightly, and Greg's hand caught her elbow, steadying her.
"Control yourself," he murmured, but there was satisfaction in his voice.
She took a deep breath, forcing her body to still. "I'm sorry, sir."
"You'll learn. Now sit. The client arrives shortly."
She took her seat at the conference table, positioning herself two chairs to Greg's right. A notepad and pen waited for her, props for her role as the diligent intern. She opened the notepad and wrote the date at the top, her handwriting steady despite the tremor in her hands.
Mr. Harrison arrived precisely on the hour. He was in his late fifties, silver-haired, with the weathered look of someone who had spent decades in boardrooms. His assistant, a young man in his twenties, followed a step behind.
Greg rose to greet them, his handshake firm and confident. "Mr. Harrison. Thank you for coming."
"Greg. Good to see you again." Harrison's eyes swept the room, landing on Maddie. "And who's this?"
"My intern, Madison Whitestaff. She's been assisting with the account analysis."
Maddie stood, extending her hand. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Mr. Harrison."
Her voice came out smooth, professional. No trace of the sarcasm that used to color every word. Harrison shook her hand, his grip brief and polite.
"Pleasure's mine."
They settled into their seats, and Greg launched into the presentation. His voice was measured, confident, laying out market projections and growth strategies with practiced ease. Maddie took notes, her pen moving across the page, but her attention was split.
Every word Greg spoke seemed to carry double meaning. Every pause, every glance in her direction, made her hyperaware of his presence. The training program hummed in the back of her mind, a constant low-frequency vibration that kept her on edge.
Twenty minutes into the meeting, it started.
The warmth in her chest intensified, spreading down through her torso and settling between her legs. She shifted in her seat, pressing her thighs together, trying to ignore the growing ache. Her nipples tightened against the fabric of her blouse, and she was suddenly grateful for the modest cut that hid the evidence of her arousal.
Greg continued speaking, unaware of her struggle. Or perhaps perfectly aware. She couldn't tell anymore.
The warmth built, growing more insistent, more demanding. Her hand trembled as she wrote, and she had to stop, setting the pen down before she dropped it.
"Madison." Greg's voice cut through the haze. "Would you retrieve the quarterly reports from my office? They're on the left side of my desk."
She stood, grateful for the excuse to move. "Yes, Mr. Earliman."
She walked out of the conference room, her legs unsteady beneath her. The hallway felt too long, too bright. She made it to Greg's office and found the reports exactly where he had said they would be. But as she turned to leave, she noticed his laptop was open, the screen dark.
A single line of text appeared.
Kneel.
Her knees buckled. She dropped to the carpet, the reports scattering around her. Her body obeyed before her mind could protest, and she knelt there, heart pounding, face burning with shame and arousal.
The screen flickered, and new text appeared.
You are ready. Return to the meeting. When you enter, you will sit at Greg's feet. You will not be seen. You will be silent. You will serve.
The words seared themselves into her brain, and she knew, with a certainty that made her want to scream, that she would obey.
She gathered the reports, her hands shaking, and walked back to the conference room. The door was ajar, and she could hear Greg's voice, still calm, still professional.
"...and our projections show a fifteen percent increase in Q3 alone."
She pushed the door open. Greg glanced at her, and she saw something flicker in his eyes. Recognition. Expectation.
She set the reports on the table. "Here are the documents, Mr. Earliman."
"Thank you, Madison."
She should have returned to her seat. She should have sat down, picked up her pen, and continued taking notes. But her body wouldn't obey.
Instead, she moved to Greg's side. He was sitting at the head of the table, his chair pushed back slightly. She lowered herself to her knees, sliding beneath the table, the carpet soft against her legs. The space beneath the table was dim, close, the wood paneling creating a small private world just for the two of them. She could smell the leather of his shoes, the faint cedar of his cologne, and beneath it, the warm musk of his skin.
Above her, the conversation continued.
"As I was saying, the Q3 projections are conservative. We have room for growth."
Maddie's hands found Greg's thighs. The fabric of his trousers was smooth, expensive. She could feel the heat of his body through the material, and she leaned forward, pressing her cheek against his knee. The muscle beneath her cheek was firm, solid, and she nuzzled against him like a pet seeking affection. Her lips brushed the fabric, and she felt his leg shift slightly, opening to her.
His hand dropped beneath the table, brushing her hair. A silent acknowledgment. A command. His fingers threaded through the strands, gentle but insistent, guiding her face toward his inner thigh. She went willingly, her breath warm against the fabric of his suit.
She unfastened his belt with practiced fingers, the metal buckle clicking softly. The sound was muffled by the table, lost beneath the drone of conversation. She pulled his zipper down, slow and careful, millimeter by millimeter, terrified that the sound might carry. She freed him from his trousers, and he sprang into her hand, hot and heavy and already hard.
The realization sent a pulse of heat through her. He had planned this. He had known she would be here, on her knees, serving him while he discussed quarterly earnings with a client.
She should have been horrified. She should have been furious.
Instead, she was wet. She could feel it already, the slick heat between her thighs, the way her underwear clung to her. Her body knew what was expected, and it responded before her mind could catch up.
She leaned forward and took him into her mouth, her lips closing around the tip. He tasted clean, familiar, and she felt a surge of satisfaction as she heard his breath hitch above her. She swirled her tongue around the head, tracing the sensitive ridge, tasting the salt of him. He twitched against her tongue, and she felt a rush of power mixed with submission. She controlled this moment, and yet she was completely controlled.
"The implementation timeline is aggressive," Harrison was saying. "But I think we can make it work."
Greg's voice was steady, betraying nothing. "We have the resources in place. My team's ready to move as soon as you sign."
Maddie worked him with her mouth, her tongue tracing patterns she had learned over the past weeks. She kept her movements small, quiet, hidden beneath the table. The carpet dug into her knees, but she barely noticed. All she could focus on was the taste of him, the weight of him on her tongue, the way he grew harder with each pass of her lips.
She took him deeper, hollowing her cheeks, creating a tight seal. Her hand wrapped around the base of him, stroking in tandem with her mouth, and she felt his thigh tense beneath her free hand. The small reaction thrilled her. She wanted more. She wanted to make him lose control, to break that perfect composure, to make him forget the client sitting across the table.
His hand found her hair again, gripping gently, guiding her pace. She obeyed, taking him deeper, feeling him press against the back of her throat. She relaxed her jaw, letting him in, suppressing the urge to gag. His grip tightened in approval, and she felt a gush of wetness between her legs.
"Good girl," he whispered, so quiet only she could hear.
The words hit her like a drug. Her hips bucked against nothing, her arousal spiking, and she moaned softly around him. The vibration of the sound traveled through him, and she felt him pulse in her mouth. She was grateful for the table that muffled the sound, grateful for the client who remained blissfully unaware of what was happening inches away.
She pulled back, swirling her tongue around the tip, before taking him deep again. She set a rhythm, slow and deliberate, her lips and tongue working in concert. She could taste him now, the salty pre-cum leaking from the tip, and she lapped at it greedily. Each drop was a reward, a sign that she was doing well, that she was pleasing him.
"Madison has been working on the account analysis," Greg said, his voice perfectly composed. "She's compiled a comprehensive breakdown of your current portfolio."
Maddie's mind was spinning. She was supposed to respond. She was supposed to say something professional, something that reinforced Greg's presentation. But her mouth was full, and her brain was drowning in pleasure and shame.
She pulled back, just enough to speak, her hand continuing to stroke him beneath the table. "Yes, Mr. Earliman. I have the documents here."
Her voice came out breathy, strained, but she managed to sound professional. She reached for the reports she had set on the table, holding them up with her free hand. Greg took them, his hand brushing hers.
"Thank you, Madison."
She returned to her task, taking him back into her mouth, her movements more urgent now. The trigger was building, the need for completion pressing against her consciousness. She wanted him to finish. She wanted to taste him, to swallow him, to prove she was good. Her tongue traced the vein along the underside of his cock, and she felt him thicken further, his grip on her hair tightening.
She cupped him with her free hand, rolling gently, feeling the weight of him. Her other hand braced against his thigh, anchoring herself as she worked. The carpet was rough against her knees, but the discomfort only heightened her awareness, made every sensation sharper.
But Greg was in control. He held back, his breathing steady, his voice calm as he discussed contract terms and delivery schedules. Maddie worked him methodically, her tongue and lips moving in patterns that had become instinct. She varied her pace, sometimes slow and teasing, sometimes faster, taking him deep and holding him there until her lungs burned for air.
The minutes stretched. Her jaw ached. Her knees throbbed. But she didn't stop. She couldn't stop. The need to please him was stronger than any discomfort, stronger than any shame. She was dimly aware of the conversation above her, of Harrison asking questions, of Greg answering with perfect composure, and all the while she worked him with her mouth, devoted and silent.
Finally, she felt him tense. His hand gripped her hair, holding her in place, and she knew. She quickened her pace, her tongue working the sensitive underside as she took him as deep as she could. His thigh hardened beneath her hand, and then he came with a soft shudder that only she could feel. The first pulse hit the back of her throat, hot and thick, and she swallowed reflexively. Wave after wave followed, and she took it all, her throat working around him, her eyes closed in concentration. She didn't spill a drop. She couldn't. She wouldn't.
When he was spent, she continued to suckle him gently, easing him down from the peak, her tongue cleaning him with careful attention. She felt him soften slightly in her mouth, and she held him there for a moment longer, reluctant to let go, reluctant to end this.
"Excellent," Greg said, and she knew the word was for her.
She pulled back, tucking him away, refastening his belt with trembling fingers. Her mouth was slick, her body thrumming with unspent need, but she felt a strange sense of accomplishment. She had done what he asked. She had served him perfectly. The taste of him lingered on her tongue, and she savored it, letting it mix with the lingering warmth of his praise.
She stayed beneath the table, waiting, as the conversation wound down. Her thighs were pressed together, the ache between them insistent, but she didn't touch herself. She hadn't been given permission.
"I think we have a deal," Harrison said, his voice warm with satisfaction.
"I'll have the paperwork ready by end of day," Greg replied. "Madison will handle the delivery."
She heard chairs scraping back, the sound of handshakes, the murmur of goodbyes. The door clicked shut, and silence fell.
"You can come out now."
She crawled out from beneath the table, her knees raw, her blouse wrinkled. Greg was standing by the window, his back to her, his posture relaxed.
"You did well."
The praise washed over her, warm and soothing. She rose to her feet, smoothing her skirt, trying to compose herself. Her legs were unsteady, her body still thrumming with need.
"Thank you, sir."
He turned to face her, and she saw the satisfaction in his eyes. "The client's impressed. The deal's sealed."
"Because of me?"
"Because of your performance. Both above and below the table."
She should have felt degraded. She should have felt angry, used, violated. But all she felt was a deep, aching need for his approval.
"I want to be good for you," she heard herself say. The words came out before she could stop them, raw and honest.
Greg crossed the room, stopping in front of her. He reached out, tilting her chin up, forcing her to meet his eyes.
"You're learning. But there's still work to be done."
"Yes sir."
"Return to your desk. I'll send the contract details. You'll prepare them and deliver them to Harrison's office by end of day."
"Yes sir."
She turned to leave, but his voice stopped her.
"Madison."
She looked back.
"You're my good girl."
The words hit her like a wave, and she felt her resistance crack, just a little more. She nodded, unable to speak, and walked out of the conference room.
Her cubicle felt small, familiar, safe. She sat down, opening her laptop, and the training program flickered in the corner of the screen. A single word appeared.
Accept.
She stared at it, her fingers hovering over the keyboard. A month ago, she would have typed a sarcastic response. A month ago, she would have laughed and closed the laptop.
But a month ago, she had been a different woman.
She typed her response.
Yes.
The program flickered, and a new message appeared.
Good girl.
She closed her eyes, letting the warmth spread through her. The client meeting was over. The deal was sealed. She had served Greg perfectly, and he had called her good.
The old Maddie would have been disgusted.
The new Maddie just wanted more.
Retreat Breakdown
The resort conference room smelled like pine and stale air freshener. Maddie sat near the back, her pencil skirt riding up as she crossed her legs, trying to ignore the damp heat pooling between her thighs. The room held over two dozen coworkers in casual corporate retreat attire. Everyone except her. Greg had specified business formal in the morning email. She'd complied without thinking.
"We're going to start with a trust exercise," Greg announced from the front of the room. His voice carried that calm authority that made her stomach clench. "I need a volunteer."
Maddie's hand shot up before her brain caught up. She stared at her own raised fingers, horror blooming in her chest. What the hell? She hadn't meant to do that. Her arm lowered slowly, but Greg's eyes had already locked onto her.
"Madison. Perfect. Come up here."
Her legs carried her forward while her mind screamed resistance. Every step felt like wading through honey, her skin humming with anticipation. She stopped beside him, facing the room, feeling dozens of eyes on her. Laura Vellem sat in the front row, a knowing smile playing at her lips. Derby Hestor leaned back in his chair, watching with undisguised interest.
"Madison and I are going to demonstrate something important about trust and obedience," Greg said. He turned to her, his voice dropping to that intimate register that made her knees weak. "Kneel."
The word hit her like a physical force. Her knees buckled, and she dropped to the carpet in one fluid motion. Gasps rippled through the room. Someone laughed nervously. Maddie stared at the floor, her face burning, her heart hammering against her ribs. She tried to stand. Her legs wouldn't obey.
"Good girl," Greg murmured. The praise washed through her like warm honey, and she felt herself relax into the position. "Now, Madison is going to show you all what proper focus looks like. She's learned that true productivity comes from letting go of resistance."
He reached into his pocket and pulled out a small silver object. A remote. Maddie's breath caught. She hadn't seen that before. When had he installed something new?
"I've been working with Madison on her responsiveness," Greg continued, addressing the room like he was giving a quarterly report. "She's made remarkable progress. But today, we're going to take the final step."
He pressed a button on the remote.
Electricity, sweet and devastating, shot through Maddie's core. She gasped, arching her back, her hands flying to the carpet for support. The vibrator inside her, the one she'd forgotten she was wearing, roared to life at maximum intensity. Her hips bucked involuntarily. A moan escaped her lips before she could stop it.
"Oh, God," she whimpered.
"Quiet," Greg said. His voice was calm, patient. "You'll speak when I tell you to."
The vibration stopped. Maddie collapsed forward, her forehead pressing against the carpet, panting. Her body screamed for release, for continuation, for anything. She'd been so close. And he'd cut her off.
"Please," she heard herself say. The word came out broken, desperate. "Please, sir, I need..."
"Need what?" Greg asked. He sounded genuinely curious.
Maddie's mind raced. She couldn't say it. Not here. Not in front of everyone. But her body was trembling, her thighs slick with need, her nipples aching against the silk of her blouse. She'd been denied for days. Days of edging, of being brought to the brink and left there, of lying awake at night, burning and empty.
"I need to come," she whispered. The words felt like surrender.
"Louder. Everyone should hear."
Tears pricked at her eyes. She lifted her head, meeting the gazes of her coworkers. Laura's smile had widened. Derby was leaning forward, his knuckles white on the armrests. Other faces she barely recognized stared back with varying degrees of shock and fascination.
"I need to come," she repeated, her voice shaking. "Please, sir. Please let me come."
Greg walked around her, his footsteps slow and deliberate on the carpet. "You've been such a brat, Madison. From the very first day. Late to orientation. Mocking the training materials. Rolling your eyes at every instruction."
"I'm sorry," she sobbed. "I'm so sorry. I'll be good. Just please..."
"But you're learning," he continued, ignoring her plea. "Aren't you? You're learning that obedience feels better than defiance. That following instructions brings rewards."
He stopped behind her. She felt his hand on her head, fingers threading through her hair, and she leaned into the touch like a starving thing.
"Yes, sir," she said. "I've learned. I've learned so much."
"Have you? Then tell everyone what you are."
The words stuck in her throat. She knew what he wanted. She'd heard it in her own head during those long nights of desperate arousal. But saying it out loud, in front of everyone, felt like the final door closing.
"I'm your toy," she said, her voice barely audible. "Your intern slut. Your obedient little cocksleeve."
The room went silent. Someone coughed. Maddie's face burned so hot she thought she might combust.
"And what do obedient little cocksleeves do?" Greg prompted.
She knew the answer. The conditioning had drilled it into her, layer by layer, trigger by trigger. "They beg. They serve. They don't question."
"That's right." He pressed the remote again, and the vibrator started, this time at a lower setting. A gentle hum that made her sigh with relief. "Now, I'm going to let you come. But first, you're going to earn it."
He walked around to face her, then sat down in one of the conference chairs. He spread his legs, and Maddie understood without being told. She crawled forward, her knees aching against the carpet, her hands finding his belt buckle with practiced ease.
"Look at the room," Greg said. "Look at your coworkers. They're all watching. They want to see how well you've been trained."
Maddie turned her head. Dozens of faces stared back. Some looked away, embarrassed. Others watched with naked fascination. Laura gave her a small nod, like she was encouraging a performer before a big scene.
Maddie's hands trembled as she worked his belt open. The leather slid through the buckle with a soft hiss. She unbuttoned his slacks, pulled down his zipper, and freed him from his boxer briefs. He was already half hard, thick and warm in her hand. She stroked him once, twice, feeling him stiffen further under her touch. Then she took him in her mouth without waiting for further instruction.
The taste was familiar now. Comforting, even. She heard Greg's sharp intake of breath, and the sound made her thighs clench.
"That's it," he said, his hand finding the back of her head. "Show them how well you've learned."
She swirled her tongue around the head, tasting the salt of him, before taking him deeper. Her cheeks hollowed as she sucked, establishing a slow, deliberate rhythm. She could feel him growing harder against her tongue, his length filling her mouth inch by inch. The vibrator pulsed inside her, a constant reminder of what waited at the end.
"Look at her," Greg said to the room. His voice was steady, but she could feel the tension in his thighs. "A month ago, she was insufferable. Rolling her eyes at every instruction. Making snide comments about company culture. Now look at her."
Maddie bobbed her head, taking him deeper with each stroke. She'd been trained to suppress her gag reflex, to breathe through her nose, to keep her hands clasped behind her back like a good girl. The wet sounds of her mouth working him filled the quiet room. Someone shifted in their chair. Someone else whispered something she couldn't make out.
Greg's hand tightened in her hair, guiding her pace. She let him control the rhythm, relaxing her jaw as he pushed deeper. The head of his cock hit the back of her throat, and she swallowed around him, rewarded with a groan that made her own arousal spike.
He pulled her off him, and she gasped for air, drool trailing from her swollen lips to his shaft.
"Tell them what changed," he said.
Maddie's mind was a fog of need and humiliation. "I learned my place," she said, her voice raw. "I learned that I'm better when I obey. When I'm used. When I'm filled with purpose."
"And what is your purpose?"
"To serve. To please. To be a good girl for my superiors."
"That's right." Greg's hand stroked her hair, and she leaned into the touch, nuzzling against his palm. "Now finish what you started."
She took him back into her mouth, and this time she didn't hold back. She worked him with desperate enthusiasm, her jaw aching, her throat accepting him deeper with each stroke. She swirled her tongue along the underside of his shaft on every pull back, then flattened it on the push forward. Her lips sealed tight around him, maintaining suction, worshipping him with every movement.
The vibrator hummed steadily, building pressure low in her belly. She could feel her own wetness dripping down her inner thighs, her body trembling on the edge. She moaned around him, the vibration of her need traveling through his cock.
"You want to come?" Greg asked.
She couldn't answer with her mouth full, so she hummed a desperate affirmative that vibrated around him.
"Then beg. Properly."
He pulled her off again, and she was left gasping, her lips swollen, her face slick with tears and saliva. "Please, sir. Please let me come. I've been so good. I've done everything you asked. I've let everyone see what I am. Please, I need it so bad."
"Are you going to be a good girl from now on?"
"Yes, sir. I'll be so good. I'll never talk back again. Just please let me come."
He pressed the button on the remote, and the vibrator surged to maximum power. Maddie cried out, her body arching, her hands clawing at the carpet as the orgasm ripped through her. It was too much, too intense, too long denied. She came screaming, her vision whiting out, her entire existence narrowing to that single point of release. The waves kept coming, crashing through her in endless succession, her muscles clenching around the vibrator as it buzzed mercilessly against her most sensitive spot.
When she finally came back to herself, she was lying on the floor, her body trembling, her skirt hiked up around her waist. Greg was zipping his pants, looking down at her with calm satisfaction. The room was applauding.
Applause. Her coworkers were clapping for her humiliation.
Maddie should have felt shame. She should have felt rage. Instead, she felt a warm glow of approval spreading through her chest. They'd seen. They'd watched. And they thought she was good.
"That's enough for the demonstration," Greg said. "Madison, you can return to your seat."
She stood on shaky legs, smoothing down her skirt, wiping her mouth with the back of her hand. She walked back to her chair on autopilot, her body still humming with aftershocks. As she sat down, Laura leaned over and whispered, "Good girl."
The words sent another ripple of pleasure through her. Maddie smiled, dazed and happier than she'd been in weeks.
The rest of the retreat passed in a blur. Team building exercises. Lunch. A hike through the woods that left her legs burning. Through it all, she felt eyes on her, whispers following her, hands brushing against her in hallways. At one point, Derby cornered her by the restrooms.
"That was something," he said, his voice low. "You really are his, aren't you?"
Maddie opened her mouth to say something sharp, something defensive. But what came out was, "Yes. I'm his."
Derby smiled, and there was something predatory in it. "Good to know."
That night, there was a bonfire. Everyone gathered around the flames, drinking wine and roasting marshmallows, the corporate facade melting away in the firelight. Maddie sat between Laura and Derby, a glass of red warming her hands, the vibrator still humming inside her on a low setting. Greg had left it on. A constant reminder.
"Tell us more about your training," Laura said, her voice casual, like she was asking about a hobby. "How does it work?"
Maddie took a sip of wine. "There are triggers. Words, sounds, certain gestures. They make me... compliant."
"What kind of triggers?" Derby asked.
She should have been alarmed by their interest. She should have been guarded. But the wine was warm in her belly, and the fire was casting dancing shadows, and the vibrator was making her feel loose and willing.
"Specific ones," she said. "Like when someone says 'good girl.' Or when I hear certain tones. Or when..." She paused, her cheeks flushing. "When someone tells me to kneel."
"Kneel," Laura repeated.
Maddie's body responded before her mind could catch up. She slid off her chair and onto the grass, her knees pressing into the damp earth, her hands folding in her lap. The wine sloshed in her glass, but she held it steady.
"Oh my God," Derby breathed. "That's incredible."
Laura leaned forward, her eyes glittering in the firelight. "What else? What other commands do you know?"
Maddie's mind was a fog of need and submission. "I know 'come.' I know 'serve.' I know 'present.'" She listed them like a prayer. "I know 'open.' I know 'beg.'"
"Good girl," Laura said softly.
Maddie moaned, her hips rocking against the vibrator. The praise washed through her, warm and welcome, and she felt herself sinking deeper into the haze.
"She's completely conditioned," Derby said, wonder in his voice. "Look at her. She can't even resist."
"Why would I want to resist?" Maddie heard herself say. "Being good feels better. Being used feels better."
Greg appeared beside the fire, a glass of whiskey in his hand. He looked down at her kneeling in the grass, and a small smile crossed his face. "Having fun?"
"She's amazing," Laura said. "You've done incredible work."
"She's a quick learner," Greg replied. He reached down and helped Maddie to her feet, his hand warm on her arm. "But she still has more to learn, don't you?"
Maddie nodded, her eyes meeting his. "Yes, sir. I want to learn more."
"Then you will."
He led her away from the bonfire, into the darkness beyond the firelight. The sounds of the retreat faded behind them, replaced by the chirping of crickets and the rustle of leaves. He stopped in a small clearing, the moonlight filtering through the trees.
"Kneel."
She dropped without hesitation, the grass soft beneath her knees. She looked up at him, her eyes wide and waiting, her body trembling with anticipation.
"You've done well today," he said. "Better than I expected. But there's one more thing I need from you."
"Anything," she said. The word came out desperate, honest. "I'll do anything."
"I know you will." He reached into his pocket and pulled out the remote. "I'm going to turn this off now. And I'm going to give you a new trigger. A permanent one."
He pressed the button, and the vibrator went silent. Maddie felt the absence like a physical ache, but she didn't complain. She waited.
"From now on," Greg said, his voice low and serious, "whenever I say the word 'break,' you will collapse into complete submission. Your mind will go blank. Your body will obey any command given to you by anyone in the room. You will not remember what happens during that state. Do you understand?"
Maddie's heart raced. That was different. That was deeper than anything he'd done before. That was giving him total control over her consciousness.
"Yes," she said. "I understand."
"Say it. Accept it."
"I accept the trigger. I accept the command. I want to be broken for you, sir."
He smiled, and in the moonlight, he looked almost kind. "Good girl. Now, let's go back to the fire. I want to show everyone what you've become."
He helped her up, and they walked back together, his arm around her waist, her body leaning into his. When they reached the bonfire, everyone turned to look. Maddie felt no shame now. Only pride. Only the warm glow of being seen, being owned.
Greg stopped at the edge of the firelight. He looked at her, his eyes dark and satisfied.
"Break."
The word hit her like a hammer. Her mind went white, her body went slack, and she collapsed to her knees, her eyes glazing over, her consciousness retreating to a small, dark room in the back of her mind. She could still feel, still hear, but she couldn't control. She was a passenger in her own body.
She heard Greg's voice, distant and echoing. "She's yours for the next hour. Use her however you like."
And then hands were on her. Many hands. Someone pulled her blouse over her head, exposing her bare breasts to the cool night air. Fingers pinched her nipples, rolling them to hardness. She felt her skirt being unzipped, tugged down her hips. Someone spread her knees wider on the grass.
Her body responded to every touch, every command. "Open your mouth," a voice said, and she did. Fingers pressed past her lips, and she sucked them obediently, tasting wine and smoke on someone's skin. "Hands and knees," another voice commanded, and she shifted, presenting herself like an animal in heat.
She heard laughter, whispers, moans that weren't her own. Her body was positioned, repositioned, used from different angles. Someone entered her from behind, filling the emptiness that the vibrator had left, and her back arched in silent gratitude. A hand gripped her hair, tilting her head up, and another cock pressed against her lips. She took it in, servicing both ends with mechanical obedience.
The sensations blurred together. Warmth and fullness and friction and the wet sounds of bodies meeting. Someone said "good girl" and she climaxed, her walls clenching around whoever was inside her. The praise kept coming, and so did she, orgasm after orgasm rolling through her empty mind like thunder.
Somewhere, in that dark room in her mind, Maddie smiled. This was what she'd been made for. This was where she belonged.
The last vestige of resistance, the final shred of her old self, looked at the scene unfolding around her and finally, gratefully, let go.
Permanent Conditioning
The Monday morning light streamed through the floor-to-ceiling windows of Whitmore Industries as Madison Whitestaff stepped through the revolving doors. She wore the same tight pencil skirt and low-cut blouse she'd always favored, but something fundamental had shifted in how she carried herself. Her shoulders were soft, her chin lowered, and her green eyes held a warmth that had never been there before.
She walked past the security desk without her usual eye roll. She passed the coffee station without a sarcastic comment about the bitter brew. When Laura Vellem caught her eye from across the lobby and offered a knowing smile, Maddie smiled back. A real smile. Open and eager.
"Maddie. You're early." Laura's voice carried a note of pleasant surprise.
"Yes ma'am." The words came out naturally. No internal fight. No bitter aftertaste.
Laura's eyebrows rose a fraction of an inch. "Well. That's new."
Maddie felt a flutter of warmth at the observation. She wanted to be noticed. She wanted her changes to be seen. Every step toward her new self felt right, like she was finally settling into a shape that had always been waiting for her.
The elevator ride to the fifteenth floor was quiet. She pressed the button and watched the numbers climb, her mind drifting to Greg's office. To his voice. To the way he said her name. A pleasant shiver ran down her spine.
The hallway was empty when she stepped out. She walked past her cubicle without stopping, her heels clicking against the polished floor in a steady rhythm. She reached Greg's door and paused, her hand hovering over the wood.
She knocked.
"Come in."
The sound of his voice sent a pulse of heat through her thighs. She opened the door and stepped inside, closing it behind her without being told. Greg sat behind his desk, his salt-and-pepper hair immaculate, his suit perfectly pressed. He looked up at her with those dark eyes that had dismantled her piece by piece.
"Maddie. You're here early."
"Yes sir." She stood in front of his desk, her hands clasped in front of her. "I wanted to talk to you."
He leaned back in his chair, a small smile playing at the corners of his mouth. "About what?"
Maddie took a breath. The words she needed to say felt huge, but they also felt inevitable. Like they'd been waiting for her to find them.
"I want more."
Greg's eyebrow lifted. "More what?"
"More conditioning. Deeper triggers. I want them to be permanent." Her voice came out steady, but her heart was pounding. "I don't want to fight anymore. I don't want to go back to who I was. I want to be yours completely."
The silence stretched between them. Greg studied her with those patient, calculating eyes. She could feel him weighing her words, testing her sincerity.
"You understand what you're asking for?"
"Yes sir."
"Permanent means permanent. There's no undoing it. No changing your mind later."
"I know." She took a step closer to his desk. "I've thought about it all weekend. Every time I tried to imagine going back to the way things were, I felt sick. I don't want to be that girl anymore. The one who was angry all the time. The one who pushed everyone away."
"And what do you want to be?"
She felt her cheeks flush. "Yours. Your intern. Your good girl."
Greg's smile widened. He stood up from his chair and walked around the desk, stopping in front of her. He was tall enough that she had to tilt her head back to meet his eyes.
"On your knees."
The command hit her like a wave of heat. She dropped without hesitation, the carpet soft beneath her knees. She looked up at him, her lips parted, her breath coming faster.
"Tell me again what you want."
"I want permanent conditioning, sir. I want triggers that can't be removed. I want to be your perfect intern slut. I want to need you."
Greg reached down and cupped her chin, tilting her face up further. "And if I tell you that you'll never be able to say no to me again? That your body will respond to my voice even when you're sleeping? That every part of you will belong to me?"
"Yes sir. Please sir."
He released her chin and walked back to his desk. He opened a drawer and pulled out a laptop, the same one he'd installed the original program on. Maddie watched him set it up, her body thrumming with anticipation.
"The final triggers are more intensive than anything you've experienced before. They'll rewrite your core responses. Your default state will be obedience. Your natural impulse will be to serve." He looked at her. "Are you ready?"
"Yes sir."
"Then come here."
She crawled to him. There was no hesitation, no internal voice screaming at her to stop. She moved across the carpet on her hands and knees, her skirt riding up her thighs, and stopped at his feet.
"Good girl."
The praise washed over her like warm honey. She moaned softly, pressing her thighs together.
Greg sat down and positioned the laptop so she could see the screen. "Watch."
She stared at the display as a series of spiraling patterns began to pulse. Soft tones played from the speakers, a gentle melody that seemed to wrap around her thoughts. She felt her mind going soft, her edges blurring.
"Your name is Madison Whitestaff. But when I say your name, you will feel a deep sense of belonging. You will remember that you belong to me."
The words sank into her like stones dropping into still water. Ripples spread outward, reshaping everything.
"When I call you 'intern,' your body will respond with immediate arousal. You will feel wet and ready. You will crave my touch."
She felt heat bloom between her legs. Her breath came in shallow gasps.
"When I say 'good girl,' you will experience a wave of pleasure that washes through your entire body. You will want to hear those words more than anything."
The patterns on the screen swirled faster. The music grew deeper, more resonant.
"You will never speak negatively about your conditioning. You will never seek to remove it. You will protect your training as something precious."
She nodded, her eyes fixed on the screen.
"When you hear the phrase 'permanent conditioning,' you will feel a deep sense of peace. You will know that you are exactly where you belong. You will be grateful."
A warmth spread through her chest, settling into her bones. She felt safe. She felt whole.
"When I tell you to serve, you will feel an overwhelming need to please me. You will do whatever I ask without question. Your only concern will be my satisfaction."
The patterns began to slow. The music softened.
"These triggers are permanent. They cannot be removed. They will grow stronger with time. They are part of you now."
She felt the words locking into place, clicking into the architecture of her mind like keys turning in locks. Each one fit perfectly.
Greg closed the laptop. "Stand up."
She rose smoothly, her body responding before her conscious mind had finished processing the command.
"Come here."
She walked around the desk and stood in front of him. He reached out and took her hand, pulling her closer until she was standing between his legs.
"How do you feel?"
She searched for the right words. "Full. Complete. Like I finally know who I'm supposed to be."
He smiled and ran his hand up her thigh, pushing her skirt higher. "And what are you?"
"I'm your intern, sir. Your good girl. Your slut."
"Good girl."
The pleasure hit her like a wave, making her gasp. Her knees buckled slightly, and Greg caught her, pulling her down onto his lap.
"Already so responsive." He traced his fingers along her jaw. "But we have work to do. You need to show everyone how much you've changed."
"Yes sir."
He stood up, setting her on her feet. "Fix your skirt. Go to your desk. I'll call you when I need you."
She smoothed her skirt and walked to the door. Her hand was on the handle when his voice stopped her.
"Maddie."
She turned. "Yes sir?"
"Welcome to your new life."
She smiled, and it was the most genuine smile she'd worn in years. "Thank you, sir. I'm exactly where I belong."
The morning passed in a haze of small tasks. She filed reports. She answered phones. She brought Greg coffee without being asked, and when he thanked her with a quiet "good girl," she felt the pleasure bloom in her chest.
At lunch, Laura found her in the break room. "You seem different today."
"I am different." Maddie didn't try to hide it. "I'm better."
Laura studied her for a moment, then nodded slowly. "Good for you. You seem happier."
"I am." Maddie took a bite of her salad. "I stopped fighting."
"Fighting what?"
"Everything. Myself. What I really wanted."
Laura's smile was knowing. "And what did you really want?"
Maddie felt heat rise to her cheeks. "To be taken care of. To be told what to do. To be good."
The words hung in the air between them. Laura didn't look shocked or disgusted. She looked almost envious.
"Well. I'm glad you found it."
"Me too."
The afternoon brought a meeting. Greg called her into his office and told her to stand by the door. When Derby Hestor arrived, Maddie opened the door for him with a soft "welcome, sir."
Derby did a double take. "Maddie? Are you feeling okay?"
"Perfectly fine, sir. Can I get you anything? Coffee? Water?"
He blinked, clearly thrown by her politeness. "Uh. Coffee. Black."
"Right away, sir."
She walked to the break room, her hips swaying slightly. She could feel Derby's eyes on her back. She didn't mind. She wanted to be watched. She wanted to be admired.
When she returned with his coffee, Greg was seated at his desk, and Derby was in the chair across from him. She handed Derby the cup with both hands, bowing her head slightly.
"Thank you, Maddie."
"You're welcome, sir."
She stepped back to her position by the door. Greg and Derby discussed quarterly projections, but Maddie's mind was elsewhere. She was cataloging the sensations in her body. The warmth in her chest. The pleasant ache between her legs. The sense of rightness that permeated everything.
After Derby left, Greg called her over. "You did well."
"Thank you, sir."
He reached out and touched her hip. "How does it feel? Being this obedient?"
"Like I was made for it." She leaned into his touch. "Like everything before was wrong, and this is right."
He pulled her closer, his hand sliding down to her ass. "And if I told you I wanted to test your conditioning? Right now? In this office?"
Her breath caught. "I'd say yes, sir. I'd say please."
"Then get on your knees."
She dropped immediately, her knees hitting the carpet. She looked up at him, her eyes already half-lidded with desire.
"Unzip my pants."
Her fingers moved to his belt, working the buckle with practiced ease. She pulled down his zipper and freed his cock, already hard and thick in her hand. She licked her lips, her mouth watering at the sight of him.
"Service me."
She leaned forward and ran her tongue along the length of him, starting at the base and moving slowly upward. She heard him exhale, a soft sound of satisfaction that made her pulse quicken. When she reached the head, she swirled her tongue around it, tasting the salt of him, before taking him into her mouth. Her lips sealed around his shaft as she drew him deeper, her throat relaxing to accommodate his thickness.
She wanted this. She needed this. The wanting was a living thing inside her now, bred into her by his conditioning, and she surrendered to it completely.
She worked him with slow, deliberate strokes, her tongue pressing against the underside of his cock as she bobbed her head. Her hands gripped his thighs for balance, her nails pressing into the fabric of his slacks. She could feel him growing harder against her tongue, could taste the precum leaking from his tip, and the evidence of his arousal sent a fresh wave of wetness between her own thighs.
"Good girl."
The pleasure hit her like a drug, making her moan around his cock. The vibration of her voice traveled through him, and she felt his hand tighten in her hair. She pressed her thighs together, desperate for friction, but she knew better than to touch herself without permission. Her only purpose right now was his satisfaction.
She kept working, varying her rhythm, sometimes slow and teasing, sometimes faster and deeper. She took him to the back of her throat and held him there, swallowing around him, before pulling back to catch her breath. A string of saliva connected her lips to his cock, and she looked up at him through watering eyes.
"Look at you." Greg's voice was rough, breathless. "So eager. So obedient. You've come so far from that angry little intern who used to glare at me across the office."
She responded by taking him deep again, hollowing her cheeks as she sucked. She wanted his approval more than she'd ever wanted anything. She wanted to be perfect for him.
His hips began to thrust, fucking her face with increasing urgency. She opened her throat and took it, her body singing with the pleasure of being used. Each thrust sent another pulse of heat through her, and she could feel her own arousal building without any touch to her aching center. The conditioning had wired her this way. His pleasure was her pleasure now.
"I'm going to come in your mouth. You're going to swallow every drop. And then you're going to thank me."
She nodded as best she could with her mouth full. His grip on her hair tightened, and his thrusts grew erratic. She felt him swell against her tongue, and then he came with a low groan, hot and thick across her palate. She swallowed, working her throat around him, taking every drop as he pulsed in her mouth. The taste of him spread through her, and the warmth of his release settled in her chest like a reward.
When he finally pulled out, she licked her lips clean, then leaned forward to gently tongue the head of his cock, making sure she hadn't missed anything. She pressed a soft kiss to his tip before sitting back on her heels.
"Thank you, sir."
"Good girl."
The second wave of pleasure hit her even harder than the first, and she gasped, her body trembling. She pressed her palms flat against her thighs, steadying herself.
He reached down and helped her to her feet. "You're perfect."
She beamed at him. "I want to be even better, sir. More training. More conditioning. I want to be the best intern you've ever had."
He smiled and pulled her into a kiss, his tongue sliding into her mouth. She could taste herself on his lips, mixed with the lingering flavor of him, and she melted against him. Her body fit against his like it was designed for exactly this.
"You'll get it. Every day. Until there's nothing left of the old you."
"There's nothing left now, sir." She pressed her forehead against his chest. "I promise. She's gone."
"And what's left?"
She pulled back and met his eyes. "Your intern. Your good girl. Whatever you want me to be."
He cupped her face in his hands. "I want you to be happy."
"I am, sir. For the first time in my life, I'm happy."
He kissed her forehead. "Good. Now go back to your desk. I have more work for you."
"Yes sir."
She walked to the door, her body still humming with pleasure. She paused with her hand on the handle and looked back at him.
"Sir?"
"Yes?"
"Thank you. For everything. For not giving up on me."
He smiled, and there was warmth in it. Real warmth. "You were worth the effort, Maddie. You always were."
She stepped out into the hallway, her heart full. She walked past a group of coworkers who looked at her with curious expressions. She smiled at them, open and genuine.
"Good afternoon."
They mumbled greetings back, clearly confused. She didn't care. She was exactly where she belonged.
She sat down at her desk and pulled up her email. There was a message from Greg with a list of tasks. She read through them, her body already responding to the commands.
At the bottom of the email was a note: "Permanent conditioning session 2 tomorrow. Same time. Same place."
She felt a thrill run through her. More conditioning. More triggers. More of becoming what she was meant to be.
She typed her reply: "Yes sir. I'll be there. Thank you for everything."
She hit send and leaned back in her chair, a smile spreading across her face. She could hear the elevator ding, could hear people talking and laughing. The office was alive around her, and she was part of it now. Not as the angry intern who hated everything. But as the eager girl who had finally found her place.
She looked at the clock. Three more hours until the end of the day. Three more hours to serve. Three more hours to be good.
She picked up her phone and dialed Greg's extension.
"Yes, Maddie?"
"Sir, I finished the filing. Is there anything else you need from me?"
A pause. Then his voice, warm and pleased. "Come to my office. I have something for you."
"Yes sir. Right away."
She hung up and stood, smoothing her skirt. She walked down the hallway with purpose, her heels clicking against the floor. She reached his door and knocked.
"Come in."
She entered and closed the door behind her. Greg was standing by the window, holding a small box.
"What's that, sir?"
He turned and held it out to her. "A gift. For my favorite intern."
She took it, her hands trembling slightly. She opened the box and found a silver necklace with a small charm. A letter G.
"Sir..."
"Put it on."
She lifted it from the box and fastened it around her neck. The metal was cool against her skin. She touched the charm, feeling its weight.
"Now everyone will know who you belong to."
She looked up at him, her eyes bright. "I belong to you, sir. Always."
He pulled her into his arms and held her close. She pressed her face against his chest, breathing in his scent. She felt safe. She felt wanted. She felt complete.
"Welcome to your permanent conditioning, Maddie."
"Thank you, sir. I'm ready."
And she was. For the first time in her life, she was exactly where she needed to be. Exactly who she was meant to become.
The office continued around them, oblivious to the transformation that had taken place. But Maddie knew. Greg knew. And in the days that followed, everyone else would learn too.
She was his intern. His good girl. His perfect, obedient slut.
And she wouldn't have it any other way.
