The First Fracture

Dan Campbell stared up at the ceiling, the fan spinning uselessly, barely moving the thick, wet air. The whole room felt like a sweaty armpit, the kind of heat that made your balls stick to your thigh and your skin itch. Nelly was next to him, curled up, her back turned, the sheet plastered to her ass and thighs, showing off every curve. He could smell her—lavender shampoo mixed with the ripe, salty musk of her skin after a day of sweating. That smell used to make his cock twitch, but now it just reminded him of all the nights he’d gone to bed hard and untouched, not even a pity kiss before she rolled away.

He rolled toward her, his hand hesitating in the space between them. "Nelly," he whispered, his voice rough from the day's frustrations. "You awake?"

She didn't respond at first, but he saw the subtle tension in her shoulders. "What, Dan?"

"I was thinking about what you said earlier. About counseling. Maybe it's time."

She sighed, turning onto her back, her dark hair fanning out on the pillow. Her green eyes met his in the dim light filtering through the blinds, and for a moment, he saw the woman he'd married—vibrant, passionate, the one who'd laugh at his jokes and pull him into spontaneous dances in the kitchen. But that was years ago, before the promotions that kept him at work late, before his anxieties started manifesting in tearful breakdowns over minor setbacks. "You think? We've talked about it for months."

"I know. I'm sorry. I'll make the call tomorrow."

"No," she said, sitting up, the sheet sliding down and her tits pushing against the thin tank top. Dan couldn’t help staring, his cock twitching under the covers, even though he knew she’d probably just roll her eyes if she caught him. "I'll do it. I already found someone. Dr. Clayton Reed. Supposed to be good for couples like us."

"Couples like us?" He propped himself on an elbow, trying to ignore how her nipples hardened slightly in the cool air from the fan. "What does that mean?"

"On the brink, Dan. Struggling with... intimacy." She almost spat the last word, like it tasted bad in her mouth. He reached out, dragging his finger down her arm, watching the goosebumps pop up, hoping she’d let him touch more.

"I want to fix this," he muttered, mouth close to her neck. He kissed her, tasting sweat and shampoo, pressing his hard-on against her hip. His hand slid under her top, grabbing her tit, thumb flicking her nipple. She let out a little gasp, her thighs parting just a bit, breath coming faster. But then her hand landed on his chest, pushing him back, her face already closing off.

"Not tonight. I'm tired."

The rejection hit like a slap. His cock went soft in an instant. "Okay. Sorry."

She rolled away again. "Don't apologize. That's part of the problem."

He stared at her back, the word "fragile" bouncing around his skull. She’d called him that before, usually after he’d cried like a little bitch over something stupid, or when he needed her to tell him he was enough in bed. He hated it, but he knew she was right. He was a mess, and it was dragging them both down.

The next day dragged. Dan sat in his cubicle at the sales firm, cold-calling clients, his mind wandering to Nelly. She worked in marketing across town, probably in meetings, her sharp mind dissecting campaigns while he struggled to close deals. By afternoon, she'd texted: "Appointment set for tonight, 7 PM. Dr. Reed."

He replied with a thumbs up, but anxiety gnawed at him. What if this guy saw right through him? What if Nelly finally voiced all the things she held back?

Dinner was cold Chinese takeout, eaten in silence. Nelly had changed into that black skirt and blouse, the fabric clinging to her tits and ass, making Dan’s cock twitch under the table even though he knew he had no shot. "You look nice," he said, voice flat, hoping she’d notice.

She glanced up, lips curving slightly. "Thanks. Figured I should make an effort."

The drive to the office was tense, rain starting to patter on the windshield as they pulled into the garage. The building was sleek, modern, the kind of place that screamed success. In the elevator, Dan took her hand; she squeezed back, but it felt mechanical.

Clayton’s waiting room was empty, the door swinging open right on time. The guy was tall, lean, with salt-and-pepper hair and eyes that looked like they could see right through you. His handshake was hard, almost crushing, and when he greeted Nelly, Dan saw his eyes drop to her tits, then her legs, before flicking back up. He tried to look professional, but Dan could tell he liked what he saw.

"Come in," Clayton said, gesturing to the couch. The room was intimate, the leather scent mingling with sandalwood, creating an atmosphere at once calming and charged. Dan sat on one end, Nelly on the other, the gap between them feeling symbolic.

Clayton took his chair, notepad ready. "Let's start with why you're here."

Dan went first, spilling about his stress, his emotional outbursts. "I get overwhelmed, and it affects us. In bed, especially. I need... reassurance."

Nelly shifted, her skirt sliding up, showing more thigh. Dan stared, remembering when she used to wrap those legs around him and beg for more, back when he could actually get her off.

"Nelly?" Clayton prompted.

She sighed, tits rising under her blouse. "Dan’s right. He’s fragile. It’s fucking exhausting. I love him, but I want to feel wanted, not like I’m babysitting a wounded puppy every time we fuck."

"Fragile," Clayton echoed neutrally. "Tell me more about what you miss."

Nelly’s voice dropped, almost a growl. "I want passion. I want to be taken, not tiptoed around like I’ll break. I want to be fucked so hard I can’t walk straight the next day."

Dan's face heated, but so did his groin. Her words painted pictures—her pinned against the wall, moans echoing. But it was aimed at what he lacked.

They delved deeper, Clayton guiding with questions that cut to the core. "Dan, how does hearing that make you feel?"

"Vulnerable," Dan admitted, voice cracking slightly. Nelly's eyes softened for a moment, but then hardened.

Clayton suggested solo sessions. "To explore without inhibition."

Dan tried to argue, but Nelly just nodded. As they left, Clayton’s hand landed on her lower back, his thumb sliding over the curve of her ass. She sucked in a breath, her body arching into his touch, like she wanted more.

In the car, Dan snapped. "You liked that."

"What?"

"His touch."

"You're paranoid."

The fight blew up at home, Nelly calling him fragile again, like it was his fucking name. In bed, he tried anyway, hand gripping her hip, mouth on her shoulder. She rolled into him, her hand sliding down his chest, fingers wrapping around his cock as it stiffened. "Show me," she whispered, voice low.

He squeezed her harder, pinched her nipple, but his hand shook. He hesitated, cock twitching but his brain freezing up. She just sighed, her body going limp. "See?"

He rolled away, cock aching, humiliated. Later, her phone buzzed—Clayton’s name lighting up the screen. She read it, bit her lip, and slid her hand between her thighs while Dan snored beside her. She rubbed her clit, picturing Clayton bending her over his desk, fucking her hard, and came with a shudder, whispering, "Yes."

The morning brought awkwardness, but anticipation of her. The day passed, and she arrived at Clayton's office alone, heart pounding.
